-Batata Wada (1 plate)
-Mix Vegetable curry
-Chole curry
-Poli (Chapati)
Misal pav being their signature dish, was arguably one of the best that I have ever tasted.
Batata wada was phenomenal as well.
The curries though desirable in taste were served in smaller than expected portions. However, the chapatis accompanying them were very desirable in taste and size.
Overall an amazing experience, though.
They offer great value for money with their food which gives out that homemade vibe and also tastes awesome at the same time

Small outlet but great taste.
The most frequently tried item is vada pav. The taste was normal nothing special but I liked their chutney. Vada was nicely fried and good enough in size. Which was totally yummy.
I also tried misal. But it wasn't so good or so spicy as we always expect the misal to be so spicy that tears should come from your eyes. But it was so mild and quantity was sufficient. Must try..
Overall the place is really nice for Maharashtrain food as they have great varieties in food.
Ambience is not so attractive as it's a small outlet only having small tables to keep plate.

If you are looking for some special dishes of Maharashtra, you should try food here. We have tried many dishes over here and all of them were really nice. Their Vada Pau is really tasty, they also have some special different items on different days of the week.Misal Pau, Manchurian roll, Kothambir vadi and samosa is must try.
This is one of the most underrated places if there was ever any. This place is not on swiggy nor on zomato delivery, yet it continues to thrive just on the basis of the quality of their food and prompt service. This place has one the best vadapavs I have tasted in the city. Also, their misal pav, pohe, chinese samosas are something to try for. This place scores high on hygiene too.
A very nice food joint if you are craving home cooked food. I have tried the cutlets, chana masala & chapati & also pav bhaji! This place is crowded during lunch time and no matter whatever you eat it gives you a feeling that you are eating home cooked meal :)
Its a perfect place to have breakfast and evening snacks...with typical maharashtrian flavours...and other snack item as well...go for batata wada..sabudana wada...ragada pattice...bhajiya its all awesome...everything is fresh and clean

I was craving for some good misal pav so one of my friend recommended me this place as it was really close to my college i thought of giving it a try. I literally had only one misal pav and my friend had a veg lunch plate.
The misal pav was quite good actually, looking at the outlet to be honest I wasn't expecting anything good, but it tasted quite good. It was nice and spicy. If you are in search for misal pav and this outlet happens to be in your locality then you must give it a try.

It is a small little shop which does not have a proper place to sit and eat but, the items served are freshly prepared, served hot and have the authentic tastes. The items served are typical Maharashtrian delicacies such as Vada-Pav, Kanda Bhajiye, Poha, Usal Misal etc. It's more fun to eat here in rains.
Kasa kay Vile Parle? If you savour Maharashtrian fare, this is a must visit. Located in a quite building in a street close to Garware, this small joint serves select dishes that you identify with Mumbai and Maharashtra. From the humble Wada pav to the spicy misal. There’s puran poli and Bhakri too. Seating is limited and the place is usually very crowded during lunch hours.

i landed up there, placed my order worth 40/- and then realised i had no cash with me. I told the gentleman serving me, that dont heat it now, i will come in 5 mins from the atm. He said , dont worry, first have the food, then go out and get the cash. I was floored. :)
apart from this, the Corn patis(!) that i had was tasty and filling. The place is clean. They have hired senior citizens also in the kitchen. and the graphics/ fonts used on the board is very cool.

Good place for a Maharashtrian lunch or snacks and it's pocket friendly. Every Saturday's special dish is Pav Bhaji, they don't serve lunch during Saturdays. Food tastes like homemade food. There is no place to sit, you have to stand and eat. Service is quick.
Dadi ma ke haath ka khana :) love their food and more than that, their spirit of work. The entire staff is of senior citizens and they are doing their job quite well!

I have been eating here since more than a decade now! Everything here is amazing in taste. Very yummy food cooked with love which gives you a home-like feel with great quantity and supreme hygiene (I guess that is what matters the most!). Ordered Vada Pav, Samosa Pav, Chinese samosa and veg puff. Loved vada Pav the best...it had the most authentic taste. The samosa was good too. The rest were a disappointment. Stick to ordering authentic maharashtrian stuff and you won't be disappointed.

A really tiny shop I what actually Food Point is! But whatever they have is really good, if they have what you want! What I mean is that it's a small establishment and not a restaurant type where you will get everything all the time! So if they are done with the stock for the day, you will not get that item till the next day. That apart, the food is really nice. Go for the maharashtrian items - misal, Vada pav, sabudana wada, thali if hungry.

Behind Viacom 18 office in Andheri, this is a very tiny food joint(* so that's why the name " food point" 😂) but this doesn't affect their performance.. Went there on a weekday morning, had white Dhokla, corn pakoda, vada pav, pohe, kaanda bhaji and what not! ! Everything is so fresh, almost home cooked, you can literally hog and that too without digging deep into your pocket.. It is by far, one of the best pocket friendly food joints, which gives a good bang for your buck with no compromise on taste or quality,hygiene, whatsoever. One of those , near to office joint run by Old uncle and aunty. The first thing which gives this place an edge is that food is cooked by females.
They have a huge variety in terms of food, it's like oe of those tiffin center. Clean , hygienic, neat , friendly staff. A self service restraunts, wit no option to sit.
I had ordered for lunch ( the menu for lunch changes daily) it was like a combo meal with 2 chapatis Black Gram ( with an effort to cook in North Indian style) and kurki bhindi.
The Black gram in gravy has surprisingly grated coconut in it, for someone who had Black gram in North India, this was really innovative. The way it's cooked is basically grated onion and Tomato as base.
The Masala used were in a completely diffrent combination than normal Garam Masala thus it had that sharpness to taste but after it settled down it was no diffrent then, what we have in North India.
Coming to Bhindi it was deep fried after stuffing with Masala thus was crispy and tasty too.
As far as Chapatis are concerned.....have long way to go.
I had also ordered Neer Dosa, which was disappointing as it was hard and tough to chew accompanied by nariyal chutney with coriander base.

I'm a regular customer of food point. I've had their pohe, sabudana khichadi, upawasachi kachori, packed parathas etc. As they say their food reminds you of your home cooked food. Service is quick, you can stand there and eat. They serve in clean disposable dish. They also have wada pav, samosa which is made in hygienic fashion I suppose. So I prefer food point over road side vendor.

Food point.... a place 2 mins away from my house... its a place with maharashtrian touch. Being a maharashtrian, 1 point extra for that... as mentioned in earlier reviews... its a small quiet place... but always crowded. Its surrounded by corporate buildings... so mostly visited by employees to have their breakfast, lunch or snacks... the food... except for a few things.. THEY DO NOT OUTSOURCE IT..... puffs, burger, cutlet, dhokla stand in the outsourced list. Vadapav, samosa kothimbir vadi misal, etc is very much in house. Well. I have never got a chance to have their lunch... but their snacks.... way better than the road side stalls. One reason why i prefer eating here...
The cleanliness..... u will always see someone or the other cleaning the place... used plates are cleared off in no time... the bottles in which they serve water are remarkably clean.. they have their kitchen on the other side of the counter... the kitchen appears clean as well...
One will definitely have a satisfying eating here. Some special menus on special days.. misal pav available 24*7... taste is always good... but to recommend, its the misal pav.... best in parla east and the corn pattice they serve on wednesdays is also yummy....

This is small eatery in Vile Parle east where you will find very tasty home made maharashtrian food. Poha, upma, thalipeth, misal, everything is very delicious. Veg meals are also good. It is quite famous among nearby corporates for their lunch breaks. Moreover counter guys are also very friendly and helpful.

This eatery was close to my office and i have eaten there preparations over a million times! They make excellent snacks and lunch too! The quality and taste is always good. One can expect to not find anything- as everything finished off the selves very soon!

I have visited the place lots of time and is my favorite place for Maharashtrian food. The place is clean and cooked by women who know the authentic taste of the dishes served. Though it is a small joint and no sitting arrangement but the friendly staff prompt service make up for it. A must visit if in the area

If at one particular morning when u r all alone at your place, hungry as hell and Don't want to cook anything, then just go outside and reach out to "Food Point" with hardly 100 bucks in your shorts. (that would be more than enough for one person). All kind of nashta is available here. So you could get variety. And I would suggest take parcel and go back to your place, because it is too small to eat there.

This place is extemely small and there is never place to stand and have your food. There are no seatings available. The veg food is good here. The veg pattice, chinese samosa, sabudana wada and many other things are worth trying. Reasonable and quick service.

A tiny little place on Subhash Road, this place serves some sreally good Indian food in general. Wanted to try out some Maharashtrian stuff. So went here expecting some good Maharashtrian food. But the sad thing about this place is that some of the food items are available only once a week on a particular day. So I had to skip almost all the things that I had in mind. Finally tried the Punjabi Samosa, Kotambir Wadi and Kandha Poha. They also have these bottles of chilled water for the people. That is a good idea in this hot summer. How considerate!
The Punjabi Samosas looked really big and yummy, so I decided to try them out. I must say that the Samosas that I had here were one of the best that I had had in a long time. The mashed potato filling was very soft and had the right amount of spices. Even those rare chunks of potatoes that I came across were really soft indicating that they were properly cooked.
The Kotambir Wadi was again very good. When I ordered it, they said, "Banana padega. Thoda time lagega." I was more than happy to wait as I devoured the Samosas. And then came this freshly made Kotambir Wadi.
The Kandha Poha is their most popular dish. Everyone seems to like it and there were some people(probably regular customers) who were taking away many packets of Poha. I guess what makes them different is that they add 'Patla Sev' and nicely boiled Green Peas to the Poha. It really makes it wholesome and tasty.
Overall, its a good place with very friendly staff. I loved the place I look forward to visit them again during the Monsoons. I am salivating already!

A Maharashtrian food outlet run by a very sweet Maharashtrian team that has set some amazing standards for its competitors. From breakfast to evening snacks this place is always crowded with corporates, kids & food lovers. You can order from a variety on the food menu and the USP of this place is that it's served "hot n fresh". Also, their evening snacks are different six days a week and each of them are a must try.
You cannot expect tables and chairs because it's located right in the heart of corporate vicinity where people finish their lunch in not more than 15 mins.
This place is closed on Sundays and Public holidays.

Had gone for some work in parle east, Food Point happened by mistake. Wanted to grab a quick snack and food point dint disappoint. Actually the food was awesome and delicious.
I think it was the crowd that attracted me to this place. At 2 pm the place was packed. Another highlight of this place was the staff. They are very friendly and very suggestive.

They keep in mind the day's when ppl mostly fast like majority on Thursdays.

The staff is kind and generous the food is so good that I can't think of anything else to stay, although don't go on the ambience it's very small and has not sitting, it's a fast food type of place where you take stand and eat and leave with a full belly and a smile
