I visited the New Kayani Resturant in fort and ordered :-
• Chicken Cheese Sandwich 3.5/5
It was a good 1½-2 inches sandwich with Cheese and chicken fillings stuffed handsomely. Will taste delicious with or without the ketch up.
• Chocolate Shake 4/5
Thick, Chilled and amazing is how I would like to describe this shake. Being the perfect combination for a beverage.
Situated in the Fort area of Mumbai, Kayani is among the few remaining Irani cafes in Mumbai which automatically takes you back to the old days of Bombay with its vintage style decor and ambiance. Also try the famous Bun Maska and chicken kheema along with? You guessed it right, chai!
Ambiance 4/5
Food 4/5
Hospitality 4/5
Over-all Experience 4/5
This is a small time restaurant situated at fort. It does not even have air conditioning, But some of the dishes are just amazing. You should try the Tandoori Chicken out here. The reason I have given 4 stars is for one dish which is tawa chicken, the taste is amazing. the quantity is good and it is too cheap on the pocket. If you want muslim style food, and at low cost you must surely visit here.
Old Irani cafe, the food here is to die for and to add it dsnt burn a hole in ur pockets! Their chai with maska bun & my most favourite chiken cheese burger is a mustt try for evre1 their mawa cakes n other deserts r sold instantly, so dnt fgt to try1 !!! Overall a decent plc but amazing food.
It is one of the best Irani restaurants. They serve delicious non-veg items. Do try their keema and Irani Chai. Recommended to visit for breakfast or brunch.
This place is always satisfying.
Their chicken munchow soup is so filling and full of chicken.
Their tandoori items are also well cooked along with indian salad that is complimentary.
Their biryani is worth trying too
Mornings can be superb when you have a superb breakfast and this is the place to have a superb breakfast. A bit old restaurant having a history of more than 100 years have a pocket friendly menu and tasty food
New Kayani, is a simple extremely affordable restaurant. Came here for breakfast and ordered their omelet which was average just like you can make at home but their special tea was delicious! As well as the pav bread we had along with the omelets.
Break-the-fast at Kayani!
Mornings can be good when you have superb breakfast. Tried scrambled egg toast, irani chai a d omelette.
Scrambled egg is really superb & unique in its own term.
Irani chai- the best as always. But this place serves the best.
Omelette- Normal but taste was really nice.
A must go experience.

Very pocket-friendly IRANI CAFE located near my office in Fort. I love their CHICKEN TIKKA BIRYANI. Unlike other Irani cafes (which serves too dry biryanis), here the biryani has enough gravy masala and chicken pieces inside! 😋
Amazing place!! visited with my friend :)
Tasted: Mutton kheema, mava cake, caramel custard and lassi
Bun maska && chai ☕ is so good
Service is very slow, but food is very good!!
This place is perfect for a hearty breakfast that won’t burn a hole in your pocket .Its a bit crowded in the morning but it’s worth the wait . I ordered the chicken frankfurters with fried egg, Kayani’s chicken club grilled, Chicken omelette and custard. This place is a must try😋
This is a special review for the Mutton Kheema they serve. It is really to die for . An amazing dish with a perfectly combined and blended ingredients. But they add in the whole black peppers which is also fine . Price wise also it is affordable and cheap.
Loved the place ! Its a great place for an early breakfast ! I personally love the Irani Tea and Omelettes here. They also have amazing Mawa Cake and Caramel Custard ! Overall, I've had lovely exprience every time I visit !
Tried Kheema Pav. Unbeatable on taste, although it was a bit oily. Portion of mutton kheema/mince per plate is sufficient for 2 pav/bread. Followed by a cup of tea. It made my Sunday morning!!! Service was prompt. Although don't expect for ambience. Good for a quick grab.
Kayani is walking distance from Marine lines and it's one of the very good Parsi breakfast place.. the food won't cost to your pocket it's really really cheap here.. starting from Keema pao to there mutton cutlets.. everything got its own taste.. the bakery items are also very good.
I parceled brownies , Shrewsbury cookies and Nescafe cookies.. Shrewsbury is really tasty although I didn't like Nescafe cookie that much.. brownies were upto 25 bucks..
Nice place for Sunday breakfasts. A wide range of Parsi food available at reasonable price.
#ambience : the old time charm is great of this place.
But the maintenance is seriously ignored.
#service : service is always slow and dull
#food : too oily all the time.
#musttry : bun maska chai , dhansak
Old charm is old , thanx to parsis and iranis for giving india such a unique delicacies today I got a chance to visit new kayani and it was a grt experience KEEMA PAV was osm , paneer origami was also good and on top of tat the custard ! Full satisfied and economic too!!

Beautiful place for authentic parsi food and ambience. Served mouth watering food at reasonable price. Hangout place for students to satisfy the taste buds. Caramel custard at this place is recipe to die for.
Parsi cafe with a heritage, focussing more on breakfast menu. Love their bun maska!! The service is fast. The food is brilliant. I've had their burger and bread rolls, delicious ones that too.
Have been here many times for breakfast. My all time favourite Irani cafe. Love their mutton kheema pav - its the best i have ever eaten. Its such a running item for breakfast that its on your table in 5to7 mins post your ordering. Akuri, cheese sandwich, chicken and mutton cutlet are all good in taste. Their desserts items are also yummy. quality of food here is good. It is very crowded on Sunday mornings, you will have to wait to be seated. Service is pretty quick. You are not allowed to work on your laptops out there. Pricing very very reasonable.
I was in search of some Iraani restaurant and got this amazing place ..... best place to have iraani chai brun maska and vanilla flavoured custard ...
We went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast... Took a chance on getting a table.. Luckily we did..
Excellent bustling ambience.. It felt good to be there on a Sunday morning..
The breakfast now...
Chicken omlette.. It was very dry.. Good amount of chicken.. But a little too dry.. Should have gotten the vegetable omlette..
Kheema gotala... Very nice.. Really great.. But I wouldn't rate it as the best I've eaten..
Bun maska was good.. Can't complain..
Chai...chai... Lovely.. Refreshing..
The chicken quiche.. Which goes by the chicken pattice.. Was OK to give a miss..
I will go back
Nice and cheap food
Can have dinner (veg) @ 100-140
Quality is also good
Hygiene also ok
Had dinner yesterday nonveg is also awesome and service brilliant
Worth the price good food try chiken tikka biryani other gravys are spicey
It might look like a small place but the food is absolutely WORTH IT!!!!!! Would love to rate it more than 5 stars!!!
Edited: THEIR CARAMEL IS TO DIE FOR 😭🤌
I recently visited a pocket-friendly restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous.
The menu had a good variety of options, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I ordered the chicken biryani and it was delicious, with just the right amount of spices and flavors. My friend ordered the paneer tikka and it was equally tasty.
The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with comfortable seating and friendly staff. The service was prompt and attentive, making our dining experience even better.
What I appreciated the most was the value for money. The prices were affordable without compromising on the quality of food or service.
Overall, I highly recommend this pocket-friendly restaurant for anyone looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
This small hotel is located right next to the Ruttonsee Muljee Jetha Fountain. I order The chicken tikka biryani was made with Bombay style cuisine and the meat was very tender. Price was a bit over budget for half plate it was 100rs. Which can be a cheaper. But quality was good. Waiting time was spent 15mins atleast.
Egg omlette.. Kheema.. maska bun .. Mawa cake.. are excellent
The Food Was decent nothing great or special about it. But The Service was very late and poor. We had to wait a lot of time despite being the only customers. The get together with around 40 friends was really memorable here. Very good ambience and good hospitality coupled with easy accessibility. Hotel staff is extremely cooperative...
What can I say about this place.this place is evergreen.forever hustling and bustling with food lovers. The place is almost 131 years old.so you can imagine how...
If you don't wanna spend much in expensive restaurants this is the place.... Very good and tasty food they provide on very affordable prices.... Service is also good they won't keep you waiting for food...
Must visit for non veg lovers. Chicken angara is served on a sizzler and is too good. Chicken lollipop, chicken lazeez and tandoori is also very good.
Nice Pocket friendly eatery.
Located right after the RBI signal,Ballard pier, the place is filled up during lunch time...must try is the CHICKEN HANDI.
wow, parsi restaurant and parsi food.
