Restaurant is located in front of dadar station make it very accessible place to have food if you are in hurry. seating arrangement is a bit congested but it's ohkk place is not too small. If you are near to dadar station then visit this restaurant.

Best place to visit in Dadar
First of all, we tried Pasta Sizzlers (Jain). It was well plated with 3 partitions including Rice, Paneer and exotic vegetables, and most important Pasta. It was really very tasty and all the flavours were well balanced. They topped pasta with mozzarella cheese, which eventually become gummy but still tasted good. The rice also tasted very good and the vegetables (Broccoli, beans) were superb.

Nice one. The staff members are friendly and sweet. The food here tastes good. Good at packets too. They have an AC section too. I love the way they cook 'Paneer Butter Masala' with a green gravy, whereas it is usually cooked with the red gravy. Try Veg. Crispy too. It's easy and convenient to locate this restaurant as it is on the main road, in the market.

Was in Dadar East for a meeting and as this place is very close Dadar station, decided to try out this place.
The space and ambience here was decent.
Coming to food, just tried masala papad and pav bhaji..
Pav bhaji was good and well made.. Also pav had too much butter in it which made it even more tasty..
Service was fast and would certainly like to try out other dishes as well..
The place is over crowded as its near dadar station. But I will surely appreciate their quick servicel, the only problem I faced was with punjabi sabji as sabji chopped by them was big in piece. I strongly recommend to try to their special Menu for the day.

I always order food from this place through zomato and always found consistency in taste.
kolhapuri panner and daal are my favorite here . Taste is good for the price one pays. Ordering food from this place also doesn't burn your pocket. They customize food according to taste choices. They just need to work on food presentation which makes food look less attractive. I would rate it 4/5 for taste and 3/5 for presentation and complimentary sides (achaar, salad etc)

After such a long time, I went to Shiv Sagar known as 'the Veg food chain'.
Shiv Sagar is know for its class and the well maintained, hygienic and a place with decent staff.
I guess this is the only Shiv Sagar that falls out of the herd. I guess for the 1st time I felt as if there is a huge clash between the management and the staff.
Did they seriously have only 1 menu card? That is the golden question. I went to this place with my besties. As soon as we were finished with the 1st order, the starters, the Waiter started to take away the Menu with him. I mean we needed some time to discuss the Main course. Finally we had to ask him if they seriously had only 1 Menu card. Which the waiter refrained from.
We ordered a lot of stuffs. 2 starters, 2 Veggies, rotis and Jeera Rice.
Veg Manchurian Dry - I wanna ask, has the price of the ginger and garlic dropped? Cause it was heavily loaded with it. My friends found it to be too spicy, and yes, the garlic and ginger overpowered everything.
Veg Crispy - Was oily as expected.
Jeera Rice, Veg Lajawab and Paneer Tikka Masala - decent enough, and almost like regular restaurants. The ambience not so good enough compared to some other Shiv Sagar. Maybe because of the location, but still, the overall infra didn't stand out.
Overall a very decent experience. Food tasted good, but wouldn't so forcefully recommend people.
This is a franchise with over 10+ hotels in Mumbai. The food quality is good and mostly the same across other Shiv Sagar hotels. This is quite a good job. Tried Crispy veg potato, veg manchao soup. Faloodas are very tastier.

We had ordered Pav Bhaji which was delicious and butterly and nice quantity, Paneer Biryani which was also yummy and Schezwan noodles which were also tasty . Nice nice food and nice quantity . Absolute value for money
Nearest restaurant to the station... The rating is just for Punjabi food that i had at the restaurant... Paneer chat pat... Was just awesome... Dnt had great Punjabi food since long... Value for money.... Good for Punjabi and South indian food.... Don't order a pizza... As they put dry fruits on the same and it sucks... Great ambiance...

Majorly if you are a non vegetarian and avoid veg food this is where you begin my friend. Amazing taste, completely hygienic, very affordable and accessible. Have tried dosas, idli, Punjabi food, pav bhaji, pizza and all are a big thumbs up. Quick service, friendly staff, adds up to the good experience. Parking could be an issue ofcourse since the lane is always crowded but other than that it is a must have if u are in Dadar and starving.
The typical shiv Sagar food. Your good old Indian food with the really tasty pav bhaaji, easy on the pocket and simple comfort food! :) Not very high on the hygiene though.
Pocket friendly and clean. The food is good and the service is swift. The waiters are well mannered. We had ordered butter roti, dal makhani, bhendi masala and lassi. The food tastes great. We had also tried idli vada and the quality of food was equally good.

All items were good in taste. Their paneer chatpata is special dish and it is crispy paneer with roasted capsicum and roasted tomato. It was delicious.

This place is just AMAZING!! The amount of relaxation and fun I had while having lunch here a couple of days back is just phenomenal. It was a hot afternoon, in the busy lanes near Dadar station. Looking for our salvation, my foodie girlfriend suggested I tried this place. I was on a budget, but the exhaustion and the heat was killing me, and decided to dine in the A/c section. I breathed a sigh of relief as the cool a/c air hit my face. Getting myself all cleaned up and ready for lunch, we sat in the cousion soft, comfortable seats. The ambiance was wonderful. Mirror walls, clean and really comfortable seating and good service as well. I would have loved it, if they had some good relaxing music.
We asked the waiter to suggest something good to try. He opted for Panner Lajawab(which was not in the menu) and we agreed to it too. So Panner Lajawab, along with Butter Rotis was the decided menu of the day.
So, soaking in to the comfortable cushion sofa seats, and talking to my beloved foodie girlfriend, I didnt even notice how long it took for the food to come, but im sure it was pretty quick.
My mouth started watering as soon as I set my eyes on the Panner Lajawaj. Tiny panner cubes, medium spicy, semi-thick red gravy and dressed with grated cheese and coriander! Not wasting much time in clicking pictures, I directly attacked the food. And it was DELICIOUS!! The Butter roti was soft and the sabji was amazing. Im glad I decided to ask the waiter on some suggestions. This is a MUST TRY, without a doubt! Not only the quality, taste was perfection, the quantity was more than enough for 2 hungry foodies
What else, even sitting in the A/c section the bill was very affordable and a total value for money. Even seating is not an issue here, the Non A/c section is also quite spacious, and along with that, they also have a roof top seating for more no. of coustmers. So this place is totally worth each single penny. Be it a family dinner, or a colleages meeting or just a casual lunch date, this place has amazing food! Would definately return back to try some more!

A nice restaurant if you want to have veg food on a budget. The Pav bhaji served here is really tasty. They also specialise in caramel custard.
I've tried Hakka noodles ,Vada Pav and uttapam from Shiv Sagar.
Hakka noodles were average ( I had given the instructions not to include cabbage in the noodles but it was still there ) was disappointed. 2/5
Vada Pav ,one of the best vada Pav ,great flavours and absolutely loved it 5/5
Uttapam was good again ,but the " nariyal chutney " was little disappointing because of its consistency.
The packing was good and the food was delievered right on time .

Value for money is what i have to say. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, well have it here i you really are a fan of South Indian Breakfast. The portion sizes are good enough which can suffice for two. We also ordered home delivery and the packaging was so neatly done. Plus points for this, must visit and really value for money.
Shiv Sagar has always been a great choice. The service was pretty impressive as our food was served really quick. The waiters were kind too.
•The Cheese Pav Bhaji was so heavy (needless to say), with all the butter and cheese. It's sure to keep you stuffed for many hours.
•The Caramel Pudding was good. I would've enjoyed the dish more if it had more syrup as that's my favourite part.
•Malai Kulfi was relishing.

We were group of 9 people n thought of having friday lunch from out so ordered Pav Bhaji, Paneer chilly dry, Paneer rawa dosa, Palak Dosa, Masala Pav , Dal khichadi n Veg Fried Rice.
I must say that , it is so rare that you order so many food items n not even one dish is failure. Bt in Shiv Sagar , they pass in all.
Best one n must try was Paneer Rawa Dosa. And next after that was Paneer chilly dry n Veg Fried Rice .
Pav bhaji had only one taste n that was of tomato , so I did not like it much n u better not try that.

As I'm from Pune,so little bit comparison is done by me between pune-mumbai.
The real thing is that no such a big difference between pune Mumbai breakfast food taste.
Shiv Sagar is one of the famous hotel in dadar east for breakfast purpose.
I must say , the food price of view,mumbai is little bit pocket friendly than pune.

One of those recent food outlets where you go not to spend time but to find quality food at optimal price.
There are many shiv sagar outlets around but I have had mixed experiences everywhere.
This is one of the more decent ones.
Tried pav bhaji, rava sada, onion uttapah and custord jelly. All the items were recent, service was quick and tidy, just the way you want it to be.
Iv stopped here now and then for a quick bite. It's never disappointed.

Located at a very prime location , just opposite Dadar (east) railway station, this restaurant is the best in budget, quality, quantity, taste & everything . The influx crowd was well managed, all safety norms followed with Staff were wearing mask and sanitizer provided at the entrance. The food was delicious & quantity was amazing. The staff makes you feel special by taking special care. Also, the eatery is well maintained & is kept neat and clean.
