This is a small restaurant with a separate section for family dining as well. The dishes are prepared fast and orders reach table with lightening speed. The Bombil fry, surmai fry and crab masala fry are to die for . Have it with Neer dosa (appam) and you will thank me later. The highlight of this restaurant is the green mango chutney that they serve as a condiment for fried seafood, its available all year. This place is cheap and serves 5 star restaurant quality food. Decent hygiene is maintained in the restaurant as well and the waiters are polite and well mannered. If you are in the area of Goregaon west, or near Inorbit mall, do visit this gem of a place for a life changing seafood experience.

This was an old haunt and go to place, back when we lived close by. That was almost two decades ago. The place looks and feels just the same. The Sol Kadhi was perfect for the October heat. The bombil fry and the coconut chutney it was served with complemented each other perfectly. The prawn biryani was a large serving. Too much for two, really. Still quite VFM.

I love love love their Bombil Fry. Crispy, fresh bombil (Bombay Duck) coated with rava/suji and then deep fried. 4 pieces in one plate. Priced at 150rs, it's absolutely worth it. At once time, me and my friend order the same dish, almost 4 times, it's that yummy.
Chicken Masala - I love their chicken masala too. It's not too spicy and I eat it with Vade as well as rice. Chicken is properly cooked, masala is spiced well. The vadas are crispy and nice. Goes best with Sol Kadhi.
Service is really good, and quick too. The staff there helps with choosing the dishes which makes it easier to order.

I had tried everything on its menu...... But would highly recommend seafood platter as it covers all varieties of fish,...... Bombil fry is always fresh....... Chicken suka and motton suka is too good..... Squid in butter garlic is out of the world..... It's also know for its fresh crabs.... Biryani and rice needs a slight improvement..... Out of my love for konkani cuisine I choose to visit this place . The name of the eatery itself grabbed my attention. A decent interior I must day. Nevertheless, the food was outstanding. I had some 4-5 items from the menu..
1) Surmai fry : perfectly fried and takes heavenly with the green chatni
2) chicken Masala Roast : woo! What masala. Must have for chicken lovers
3) Promfet tawa fry : this was my most expensive dish for the evening. But all worth it. I love fish to the core of my heart... This dish just blew my mind.
4) Prawn biriyani : as I am a bengali. I had a different version of biriyani all together. I don't think so that it was made by all standards of how a biriyani should be like but whatever they made - name me poloa or masala rice or whatever. It was outstanding. I loved it.
5 ) Anda cury : okay.
A must try place for fish lovers. Try the promfet tawa fry :)
Friendly staff and yummy sea food. Simple and soulful. Their solkadi and pomfret is super delish. We even tried the masala omelet and it tasted great with chapati.
Visited this place earlier today and loved every item. Just one complaint. The fried items were very dry. Not that I wanted it oily, just that it was way too dry. Even the pomfret which was mentioned to be rava fry. It didn't look anyway close to that.

Delicious sea food of your choice is served by courteous staff here at reasonable price. The service is prompt. On weekends the restaurant is crowded and you may have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes. But it is worth waiting in queue.
As a regular, I love this nook. Right from the door man to the service n food gets a 5 star rating. Fresh fish, authentic preparation is heaven. Try the bombil fry, prawn gassi, pomfret fry, and teesri... Has been the same quality for years now. Comfort food.

One stop destination for lip smacking malwani food. This is a small little place on the MG road, Link Road intersection in Goregaon West. It serves great Malwani food right from sol kadi, fish rawa fry, fish tawa fry, prawns pulao.. honestly I’m always spoilt for choice. The surmai tawa fry is an absolute winner. I also loved prawns koliwada, prawns tawa fry and prawns pulao. Also a big fan of the green chutney that accompanies these dishes. The ambiance and cleanliness of this place could be improved. Also great value for money.

Konkan food is one my favorite😍💕 dishes ever.... full of flavoursome and delicious..... they dishes are Fingerlicking good.... i called for the home delivery at my friend place.... deliver food was spot on time.... That's why got food hot and fresh.... Packaging was superb.... Quantity and quality was fantastic....

For years this has been one of my sons favourite places and mine too. I have happy memories of tucking into fingerlickingly good authentic Konkan food and the flavours always linger on. If you're looking for a fancy ambience don't bother. But if you love freshly fried fresh, a bowl of curry to dunk your neer dosa into then this is a place you must try. The service is quick, the waiters are always smiling and after awhile they will recognise you and welcome you back as a friend because once you visit, you will always return. Must tries tisrya masala, fried prawns, chicken sogadi with vade and sol kadi.
I haven't had good malvani food for a long time but this place is amazing and the quantity is also worth the money ..I had chicken Wade and we also ordered fish curry and bangda fry all of it was so delicious .I would love to come visit again..

Best sea food i ever had is Konkan Swad. Fish is fresh and the service is quick. Its a small place but its expensive. 800 bucks would be for 2 people on average its its worth going. If you are a fish lover i am sure you would like the taste

Visited konkan swad today with sister as we were craving hard for sea food. We thought to try sea food platter,crab masala gravy with rice and sol kadhi. Crab masala gravy was lipsmacking with lemon poured on it along with rice and onions.
We were disappointed with the sea food platter as all the fishes in it were coated with the same masala of the same taste and texture hence we were unable to recognize the type of fish. The chef must have given different taste to different fishes.
Sol kadhi was delicious. Still we are looking forward to visit this restaurant again to try different dishes.

Kokan swad is a sea food restaurant. Visited this place on last Thursday. Restaurant is small with old style chairs n tables but Food is very tastier. Had been at this place many times. Service is quick. Ambience is lil old style. If u want authentic sea food than this is the best place to be.
Must try bombil fry & prawns tawa fry which is very tastier.
Pomfret curry &crab curry are also mouth watering.
But last not the least must order (Sol kadi). Which u will love at the most.

Konkan Swad is one of those old school restaurants where the food is just yum and all the other stuff goes out of the window. Now if you’re a person for who ambience and the entire dining experience is very important then this is not a place for you. But for those who love good food I’m sorry great sea food then this is the place to come. So for starters the fried Bombay duck has to and I mean has to be there. They prepare it really well and none of the fried stuff is too oily. Followed by prawn masala fry. They fry it with a nice rava batter and the taste is simply delicious. For the main course we had the pomfret tava fry along with their curry and rice. The pomfret was prepared to perfection, and their curry rice was the added touch which was required to enhance the taste of the pomfret. Also while here their kokam drink is a definite must try. So apart from the ambience of a stylish restaurant my opening line sums this place up, if you want to have some great sea food this is definitely the place to come. Its a no fuss place and I will definitely be coming down here again. Happy munching 🍻

Ambience: The ambience is very basic. You will however be welcomed with the aroma of freshly fried fish
Beverages: The Sol kadi here is a must try!
Food: We tried the pomfret curry. Although the curry was delicious, the pomfret could have been more fresh. The fried fish and neer Dosa are also worth trying! 🐟🦀
The food is moderately priced and the service is quick.
Parking may be an issue as valet parking is not available.
The taste remains the same till now.. I have been eating here since my childhood whenever I used to come from Pune.. And till now too whenever I come from Pune I never miss the chance of eating in Konkan Swad 😊😊
I've had food here quite a few times. Regular items on their menu I usually have include their Chicken Curry, Bombil Fry, Surmai Fry and their Veg thali as well that changes menu on regular basis. I've always found the sea food to be quite fresh which is a big plus if you're looking to head here.

Amazing place for having Konkani food. Paneer and Mushroom dishes with Bhakri and Neer dosa is highly recommended. They Konkani way of preparing food is quite different but sooo delicious.

I loved the food - specially the prawn gravy and the red gravy with it. The bombil fry was decent. Really liked the tangy grilled pomfret too. We also ordered crab salt and paper- I was disappointed with it. It was more of minced crab dish - not great.

This place turns out to be right at the corner of Motilal Nagar signal off Link road. It serves all the kinds of Konkan sea food delicacies at reasonable rates. We tried 'Tisrya Masala, 'Prawns Curry', 'Bombil Fry' & 'Kolambi rice'. Ambience is decent and the place is clean with prompt service.
I would recommend this place for all non veg sea food lovers.
Ordered Mushroom Pulav (was sumptuous!). However, due to network issues, I could not pay online as I otherwise do, and called for Cash-on-Delivery instead. And they handed a bill that charged additional taxes not declared on Zomato. GST was added not only over their own pulav dish, but also on the MRP of ready beverages. Had I paid online that day, I would have been charged only as much as Zomato had mentioned. Konkan Swad should get the rates sorted on Zomato. For large orders, this may translate into huge difference in estimation of cost.

This place isn't as good as I remember. The bombil fry was nice and fresh. Bangda curry was ok. Pretty sizeable bangda in it though. The veg thaali was surprisingly good. I was surprised they don't have fish thaalis. The tisryo sukkha was just full of masala that overpowered the somewhat stale tisryo.

Quite a good place to have non veg especially sea food meals.Located on the link road & Mg road corner easily visible and has ac seating too. Overall food experience is good still the quantity is little less according to the price range. Polite staff and good ambience.
