I like the ambience of the place. The staff is pretty courteous and patient. The food is pretty good even though it's slightly on the higher side... families planning a day out can consider visiting this restaurant.
The perfect place to get your comfort food. The chicken sukha is the perfect blend of spices. The neer dosa reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. It is the perfect place to get food that tastes like it was cooked by your grandma
Names can be so deceptive.. Hunger pangs made us enter the restaurant "Sweta Palace" non descript but spacious inside, clean and fully air-conditioned.. which otherwise we would have ignored.. They swear by the fresh fish they serve. . We ordered for the mandeli fry.. that was fried to perfection.. crisp and golden.. the prawns koliwada were quite a mouthful.. It had what i like most in shrimps.. Understated sweetness.. This was followed by the softest neer dosa and egg gassi... A total VFM restaurant and if you happen to be in this part of Mumbai.. you can definitely give it a try..
It was a wonderful evening at Sweta palace we have spent the time everhad. Good food with decent ambiance. Polite staff but need to improve in service. Otherwise everything was excellent. Definitely we will be back soon.

We had gone last week to this Restaurant, amazing starters like fish fingers, crispy chicken, dry Surmai fry, had two beers, great food and excellent service by their manager Mr Shrikant.. My family enjoyed the food & service, would like to visit agin , if we get a chance, Hts off

Sweta palace is located right on the main road with ample of parking space.Its on sector 17 arenja corner . The place has been recently renovated from a simple bar to a proper restaurant where u can go with family.They have two sections non AC for drinkers and AC section for family .The ac section is beautifully done.the interiors are awesome.
Coming to the food my personal favorite out here are
1.prawns/chicken ghungroo-its a must have here
2.paneer chilly
3.paneer Tikka masala
4.butter chicken-not the regular one a bit on spicier side and yum
5.neer dosa
6.chicken 65
Food is yum here and so is the service.must try for mangalorean and Chinese lovers.

I had been to Sweta Palace this Sunday i.e. on 27-05-2018. I had my family along with me. The first impression was of the interiors. I would say that it was super awesome. I was not able to get my eyes off the beautifully decorated walls of the hotel. We went for the AC section of the hotel. We had to wait for 5mins because the section was already full. Then we got our table. The staff was extremely polite and gave us the menu. We asked for the special dishes available- he went on for neer dosa and Chicken Gravy. We ordered the same and for starters we got prawns koliwada. The prices were reasonable. The food was very good and the service was fast too. I forgot to click pictures because we all were busy tasting the best. I had been to many hotels in Navi Mumbai but Sweta Palace gave me a different experience of having Manglorean Food.
the most authentic booze available in Vashi, has a great AC section. service is friendly. I somehow gets drunker here than anywhere else. the food is OK
Amazing food especially manglorean non vegetarian dishes. Tad expensive for the place and ambiance. Drinks are also bit expensive. Loved chicken sukkha and neer dosa combo.

The food is yummy,try pepper chicken of sweta palace. Family section is also available and it is very decent. Crowd is good.Non ac seatings are also available to the people who loves to smoke.

This is one of the best place to have Mangalorian dishes and specially Chicken Sukka is yummy, smells divine with so many spices and roasted coconut that go into it and tastes awesome whether you eat it with Rice, Neer Dosa or Paratha.... Good quality food and decent quantity..
If you are game for some classical south indian preparation, you should definitely try this place. It is good old bar and family restaurant where you get some mouthwatering delicacies. A must try is the neer dosa with the chicken curry preparation. Lajawab! The service is as per your visits and tipping. I've been here more than once with my friends and get treated royally by few guys I've got acquainted here. This place has a classic non AC bar, an AC section and a family room. Love the bar ambience. Must visit before such places become extinct. ?
For a rugged guyz hangout it is best... Smoke booze like a boss.. Food is superb .and reasonable.. Crowd is decent .. so far the Best Non A/C section of a bar in vashi.. will b doubtless to visit again
Cool place for Booze. Tasty & good quality food. Very friendly staff. Avoid manager with suit, he probably will hard sell some bad recipes.

We had gone there after a movie for some quality good.. Me and my best friend. The security guard was very cordial and helpful in helping us park. Then we moved on to a section of the restaurant saying "family only". Didn't know how that clicked as we were both men, it was really cold inside.. For the first 10 mins no one attended us. Guess the were busy in the "non-family" section. But than an old gentleman came to the rescue and we immediately ordered our soup, and our traditional 0.5 ltr thumbs up. It came swiftly. The veg. Manchow soup was really good, it needed a bit of salt but good. Our starters paneer chilly was equally delicious. Finally our main course had butter chicken (half) and paneer tikka masala. Nans to go along with it. The food was surprisingly tasty and I was shocked to find if with so less oil. All in all we were really happy with the service, food and ambiance. Total bill came upto ₹1050. Decent I'd say for an awesome meal. If you don't mind waiting patiently and paying a bit more than the average. I'd recommend this place whole heatedly. It's added to my favourites list. We will be visiting soon to try other dishes.
P.S: the 'half' butter chicken is huge in quantities so unless two-three foodies are eating it. You'd have to parcel it for sure. God help you if you order a full one ;-). Peace!

Back to my favourite childhood restaurant, greeted by Naveen and got seated in a cosy corner. Ordered salad, chicken manchow soup, dal khichdi and chicken triple rice. Our waiter was Suraj Karki, service was fast and prompt.
Food is excellent and you can customise the order as per your taste preferences.
Will be visiting again.
Food is quality is good. But we experienced that some food preparation is different. So better ask basic preparation method of food before ordering.
Service is good but if you're party is takes long time then they start ignoring you.
Atmosphere is nice specially interior and crowd.
This place used to be a to go place for almost every weekend with my boys gang, post work. The good is good, the ambiance is amazingly done recently, it's no more a shady bar 😅 it's wide and huge and weekends are usually full. But, a good place to be at during a sports event or something. Good service, open till late(1am) not very pocket friendly though.
Back to my favourite restaurant again, this time my server was Suraj Karki, order taken by Umesh.
We ordered pepper chicken full and chicken triple fried rice. Quantity was a lot for 2 people and taste was awesome.

Food and service is good. It just that went with family members and few drunken people were on beside table.
Went in for an afternoon lunch at one of the oldest restaurants in vashi, ordered chicken crispy, chicken triple rice and dal Khichdi. excellent food and prompt service by Naveen and team. I have been visiting since last 10 years now and food quality and service has always been top notch.

Best place in Vashi to hangout with friends and family. They play retro and slow music which I really enjoyed every time I visited this place. The playlist selection and sound quality with the perfect volume really adds a nice soothing background to your chitchats. Talking about food, it's awesome. Recently tried fish pulimoonchi with neer dosa. Neer dosa was really soft and was literally melting inside the mouth. Great combination!!! Chicken ghungroo is another must try dish. This is one of the rare places where they keep a bin for the used tissue papers which normally makes the table messy, great customer service!
A fantastic place. I loved it, overall. Very cozy, welcoming place with good service and great food. I liked the fact that it is spacious and that the drinks are not priced exorbitantly. All cocktails were at Rs 300. The taste of chicken tikka was awesome. Its a great place to go with a group or with your family. The ambience is great too👍
