I like the solkadhi served here. Chicken 65 and prawns Rawa fry was tasty too.
One my try the thali (chicken / different fishes or prawns) good quantity is served.
Really good place for malvani cuisine .fresh ingredients.

Food is good. Tried the chicken, pomfret, bombil thali. Fish thali is good with rice roti and chicken thali is good with komdi vade. I love their sol kadhi. When feeling like having good fish thali Konkan style, try here.

Small seafood dining resided in malad. Being a seafood lover, trying various seafood restaurants is always on the check list. So this was one of them. We ordered pomfret thali and prawns tawa fry. And trust me it was really yum as per their pricing. Though it is a small place, food over here is delicious.

Nothing can taste as unique as Malwani food. And its soo good to get good malwani food. Malwan kinara served a very very piece of fried promfet with delicious orange curry. Finger licking. MUST TRY!! Tried the prawns thali as well.. the curry was a bit different.. tasted good. But the promfet stole the show. ❤️❤️
Best Place in Malad for Sea Food. We ordered Fish Thalis ... Surumai,Halwa,Rawas ..All the fish fries are so fresh and masala taste is really good.

because of fish curry. It is not spicy and like one fish piece in Tomoto & Coconut curry .All the fishes curry taste same.

For All Sea Food lovers, this is a must visit place near to Toyota showroom Malad.
Today we have ordered two dishes:
1. Pomfret Thali
This dish was so mouth watering in taste with deep fried outside of the fish and super soft inside.
Provided extra fish gravy, dry fish in a bowl, two rotis, bowl of rice. & Finally thali doesn't end with favourite (Sol kadhi).
2. Butter Chicken with Nan
Had to wait for a while for this dish to get prepared.
It had good amount of boneless chicken, adequate garlic and right amount of spices in it (two people can have it delightfully). Taste was good overall.
Nan was too crispy, compared to other Nan's provided in other places.
However had been to this place twice or more and ordered the below dishes aswell:

4. Prawns Thali
They were equally good in taste.
Other points:
# Tables were very neat and clean.
# Had to wait for 15-18 mins to receive the order.
# 3 families & 4 couples can be seated down stairs also they have an upper deck to more seating arrangements.
Overall had good experience in this Malvani special family restaurant.
Been to this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Had ordered prawn gassi, neer dosa and surmai rawa fry accompanied by solkadhi. The fish was fresh, portions generous with excellent taste of authentic coastal cuisine. Will definitely like to visit again with family.

Absolutely fresh and authentic. And reasonably priced. Good ambience and clean for family. Couldn't ask for more. The place was packed but when you got a seat the food came quick. Non oily and had the right mix of spices, nothing overdone.
This place is a gem in the chaotic Malad Roads.

The fish thali is so filling and amazingly tasty, that you wouldn’t stop eating it.

There's nothing bad about the restaurant, the food is amazing, the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The owners are the best people in this damn world. The quantity of food is huge I'm a large person with large appetite and I could not finish the food I ordered (the pics I uploaded is what I ordered). But there are a few areas where they can improve such as the ambiance and the speed of the service. Although the hotel is small but it's always packed to the brink. Minor improvements in service speed and done. I'm looking forward to visit again, 😅 I took home the fish and finished it the day later.

Review: Ambience wise this hotel is nothing great. Its a small outlet close to Goregaon sports club. However the fish thali and malwani taste of all the dishes they serve is what deserves the rating of 4. Try the surmai or pomfret thali which is quiet filling for a single person. The fish they serve is absolutely fresh. As a mandatory rule, never miss the sol kadhi at such places. The food is superb but since the place is small, you may find yourself waiting in queue to get in. But it's worth the wait.

Have ordered many times from Malwan Kinara. Food is quite tasty. But this time it was out of this world. Really tasty. Ordered Tandoori prawns, surmai fry, crab masala. All three dishes were quite good. But the prawns tandoori and crab masala we're outstanding. Prawns had copius amounts of masala and was very tasty, though a tad bit overcooked. And crab masala was the best with one big crab. It's flavour had spread perfectly in the curry and was fingerlicking good. These three dishes must try. Even the Tisrya (shell fish) masala and bombil fry is quite tasty.

Descent place to eat when you have that craving for sea food. Quantity is sufficient and pricing is also reasonable. Always check what fish is available as you can get as per the season. Overall amazing experience every time I visit.

If you want to have thali especially fish one u can go to Malwani kinara in Malad West....I had chicken thali as it was closing time so the fish thali was unavailable...Have thali with komdi vade and it will taste awesome...and not to forget the solekadi...it's my favourite and here it's just perfect...the experience is always good whenever I visit...

Have been to this awesome Malwani restaurant more than a couple of times and have loved their Malwani style preparation each time. It's a great place for sea-food and malwani food lovers in Mumbai. I have tried Chicken Sukka each time I have been there and I must say the preparation and quality is top-notch always. Also tried pompfret fry, prawns fry and bombil (bombay duck) fry and loved the taste a lot. Recently they added one more floor up above their existing ground floor hotel. Highly recommended guys!

Have been eating from this place since a long time. A small humble place serving good konkan food for years now. Fish is fresh, food is affordable.
This place seems relatively new. We tried the Bombil Fish Thali and it was incredible :) Being a Konkani myself, it totally exceeded my expectations. The ambience and service ate excellent. They play soothing instrumental music all along.
Also, it goes easy on your pockets. The Fish Thali costed just Rs. 200.

Small place with good offering.......located near kiran towers, this place has a small sitting arrangement, good that air conditioning is adequate.....lately i think they are opening/already opened another space on the floor above.......coming to food, as the name suggests they specialize in Malvani cuisine....the thalis are worth for money.....i particularly like their tisriya sukka with Bhakri but unfortunately you need to order early in the evening since it has happened to me a couple of times that ordering post 9.30 bhakri becomes unavailable and you have to fall back on the next option which is chapati.....even with this drawback, i would recommend this place
After reading so many good reviews about this restaurant on Zomato I ordered Rawa Bombil Fry and Sukka Chicken. I would say at this price range they serve amazing sea food. Truly value for money. Rawa Bombil had perfect crispyness and Sukka Chicken had coconut gray typically like malwani people. The one who loves malwani food this restaurant gives total justice at reasonable price range.
If you love seafood this is the place in Malad near to the hub of call centre. They serve delicious seafood at very reasonable price which you won't get at konkan swad. Once you start eating here you would just want more to come on your table. We had order prawns & bombil fry both were just too good. When you are done eating don't forget to have their pink juice which they bring when they get the plates on table.
Excellent malvani food. Mouth watering. One of best food I had in north side of Mumbai. Ordered chicken sukka, egg masala, deshi murg masala and everything was amazing. Worst giving top rating to it.
I am a pakka Malwani. From the taste I can tell their food does feel very homely. We ordered mutton-vada, typical Malavani special. The Vadas very crispy and perfectly fried. Mutton handi, the gravy was very good. But they did not cook the mutton meat properly which led to it being felt uncooked. I know mutton is difficult to cook properly.
Other things, we ordered Surmai fish. Little on higher side of price for this place, but that was compensated by its taste as well.
Spent 1100 for three of us. Not heavy eaters but decent.
Will definitely visit again, if they promise me well cooked mutton :)

Among the Malwan Kalwans and the Konkan Swads of Malad, there is Malvan Kinara - a place you must visit if you enjoy fish. The ambiance, service is all secondary, although not bad, however, the food - that's the real standout. One of the best bombil fry I have ever had. Also tried the prawn thali and the mutton thali, both of which were prepared in authentic malwani style. The coconut-based gravy being the centre of the dish. I didn't have too many items off the menu, but enough to have me visit again.
Wow wee this is the fish lovers paradise ... proper Malwani and Konkani fish/chicken/mutton/veg thalis galore in this tiniest of restaurants so easily overlooked from outside.
We ordered one ghoal thali (never had ghoal before; much like cod and most delicious) and one surmai masala thali. Both featured very fresh, succulent juicy fish with just the right amount of spice. Accompanied by two coconutty sambar-esque dishes, one of which with another piece of fish poached within.
Visited with a view to tasting some new styles and boy did we ! Great fresh food which was something different from the usual. Chapattis were also light and fresh.
Total for two thalis and one bottle of Kinley totaling Rs745. Decent but not spectacular value however still recommended for those wanting to try a bit of desi food from the region.

Wanted to go infinity for a noon show so chose this place as I was craving for some konkon food .
It has v few reviews on zomato but still thought to try it .
A v small decent place..most of their basic thalis has fish gravy n not fish fry..
I went for mori thali n bombyl fry my friend chose mutton sukka .
The gravy base was common for more masala n mutton ..but it was tasty..
Bombyl fry had 3 pieces of bombyl. .Fry had little extra oil and not perfect dry fry..but the fish was fresh..
In thali I had extra mori masala wati which I exchanged for normal fish curry .
The fish curry in thali was average ( but at least had taste of fish gravy- best fish gravy in thali so far I ate is at "pangat" and "Chaitanya "at other places it just taste like a veg coconut gravy).
Sol kadi was thick n good ( again this is hardly found in any good thali restaurant they usually make it lot watery- eg .satkar in goregaon which is just hyped )
So overall good experience ..would like to visit again if I visit malad side ..matsya at Malad .do not serve thalis on Sundayn holidays and their fish curry really is not great as per the reviews ..

Had shell fish reminded me of my aunt's clams shell fish with coconut. Superb and very fresh. Very good quantity. Also had bombil fry. Big pieces of bombil and also super fresh. On my second visit I had asked for clams shell fish again but was told by the waiter that it was all sold out but I seen it being served to a table next to us even though they had come much after us. Seeing this we were a little disappointed as we had visited to have shell fish. We felt that the waiter wanted to get a higher sale from us. Then we ordered Surmai curry. Two nice big pieces of fish made in coconut gravy. Very good...perfect Malvani style. Tangy and the fish was succulent. Roti's were nicely made. And to end the meal the soul kadi was a icing to the entire meal...one of the best soul kadi around. One big complaint...both times the restaurant was swamped with mosquitoes....they should find a solution...the only solution they have are the electric racquets. I wonder why they don't use good knight or have a electric mosquito trap. I will consider before going there again only because of the mosquitoes. Food 4/5 . Service 2/5. Value for money 6/5.
Another place where we call in regular home delivery from.. Easy on the pocket, freshest of fish... On this particular day, we happened to dine in there and ordered the prawn dry fry for starters.. A must have, decent size fresh prawn, perfectly cooked, juicy, sweet, crispy, marinated with flavourful malwani masala and tawa rawa fried. A 5/5 to dis dish. The sol kadi was perfectly balanced, wish it wud have been a little more creamier... So 4.5 to that. We also ordered clams masala and crab masala, the clams were large perfectly cooked, the gravy needed a little more seasoning. Same goes for the crab masala... The gravies can be a little finer.. The bhakris are a little too thick for my liking.. The green chutney condiment is superb! After having all that we ordered another plate of prawn fry, absolute highlight of the meal.. Overall a good experience..
A fisheatrian family, we are extremely particular about fish preparations. Malwan Kinara has never disappointed us. Be it the Bangda Thali or Bombil Thali, the Tisrya Thali or even the Veg Thali, bang on taste. Reasonably priced, would definitely recommend this place who love fish on their playe.

Good value for money. .authentic malwani food..not run of the mill stuff. Delivery time excellent and the person taking orders for take aways is helpful in ordering the correct portions. Mori masala is really worth trying...glad to have near my place.
My friends and I went there for a late night dinner. Ordered quite a few things like mutton sukha, surmai masala, plain rice and bakhris.
Talk about hunger taking over the taste buds but everything was awesome. In taste as well as in quality. Place is also decent. Price is also not pocket burning. All in all, you can lot of fish and prawns, rub your tummy and walk out as a happy man/woman.
Nice place for having authentic malvani food. Their seafood thalis are just yummy. The chicken is also good. Their food tastes similar to home cooked food. One of my favourite places to have ghar ka khana.

One of my fav sea food restaurants... the taste of authentic malvan food is simply delicious... and value for money. Have ordered so many times from this place in our office.. at times 25 thalis every Fridays... Yeah! You read it right. We just love this place.
This is my home and I'm a sea food lover ... I have been here and been a regular since last 4 years as I'm working at 3G and now nearby to mind space ... This hotel is best for fish 🐠🐟 lover. They serve Malvani, Indian, tandoor and chinese cuisines. Best part is all kind of fish available.We had prawns soup 🍲, surmai (Seer, king) fish thali & bombil (Bombay Duck) fry which was so delicious. Tasty food. Service is fast. Well maintained place. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody. They accept card 💳 payments. Parking is not available due to narrow and busy road.

It's really good for fish food in budget price we as a group visited in 4 and had 3 plate of bangda thali and 1 bombil thali along with a starter as prawns chilly consist of medium size 10 prawns pieces which can satisfy for 4 people and speaking about bangda thali consist of 2 fried bangda in small rawa along with one more bangda in thick red rassa and a small wati of Sol kadi with 2 roti and in medium plate rice.
Ambience is not so catchy but food is amazing..Best maharashtrian taste ull get..Cheap food cost and affordable..
I am from Malvan and because of that, I tried this hotel. Small place. They focus more on taking away orders than on dining. Surmai fry was good. Don't order sol kadi they don't know how to make it. Don't expect that you will get food like Malvan, the name of the hotel is just for marketing only. Try it at your own risk.
