As a “Bandraite”, I decided one Sunday to run the risk of going all the way to Oshiwara for an evening of Indian food. Well for starters, We found our restaurant pretty quickly and in spite of it being a busy road, parking too was rather easily available for an impromptu plan. For the food, We were a table of 5, who took the restaurant’s suggestion of 1 portion of Bhatti ka Murgh, Mutton Barra & Mutton Seekh (all 3 excellent choices) which were perfectly spiced & wonderfully tasty. For our mains, on having hit the exact desired spot with the reco’s, We went with 1 portion of Saagwala Chicken, Rarra Mutton & a Dal Makhani. The dal? It’s just pulses right? Well, this was one baseball hit way out of the park... thick, creamy and compact. The meats were succulent and beautifully cooked. For the not so faint hearted, this place does a killer brain masala too. All this flavoursome & scrumptiously good food was ofcourse paired with an assortment of the most appetisingly fresh array of Tandoori Roti’s, Butter Naan’s, Lachcha Paratha’s & my personal fave - the Rumali Roti. Washed down by our very own Thums Up. Apart from the fact that this place has courteous, prompt & reliable staff, an even better attribute would definitely be their quantity servings in relation to prices levied on each dish. A must visit for a clean cut, delicious North Indian meal!!!
