They serve both Jain and non Jain pav bhaji , but I liked Jain pav bhaji very much . Cost is very sutable for everyone , and there service is really good and higenic.🤗❤️
A famous pav bhaji joint located opposite the Girgaum Church. It is a small and pocket friendly place but serves mouth watering pav bhaji and tawa pulao. It is also famous for its paneer bhurji. Next time do drop in here for amazing pav bhaji!

Since this place was known for its pav bhaji dishes, we ordered Amul Butter pav bhaji.
The bhaji was well made in amul butter along with another layer of butter over it. Even the pavs were completely laid with butter. Also qty of extra tomatoes and onions provided was really good.
The pav bhaji was really heavy and totally worth the price
Space and ambiance was decent but service was really good.
Overall its a treat for pav bhaji lovers.
Pav bhaji and paneer bhurji with paratha over here is really good. I have tried it a couple of times in the past. The place is very small near with seating of around 15-20 people but the service is very fast. Price is economical and overall it is a good place to try food on budget.

Place is known for its pav bhaji and does not let you down. Pav bhaji was very well made and tasted really good with butter pav. Must try for all pav bhaji fans.
Jalsa offers two variants of Pav Bhaji: One is prepared in oil and the other one is prepared in butter. I tried the butter preparation and it's good in taste and definitely worth the price. Another unique feature that I observed was that many hotels offer only sliced onion with pav bhaji; here they offer sliced onion and sliced tomatoes as well.

Jalsa is a small eating outlet with a menu of limited items , they are well known for Pau Bhaji and Tawa Pulao , customers have the liberty to customise their order ie less spicy less buttery etc, both the above items taste very nice , the portions are huge and is very pocket friendly, good place to get a quick bite
jalsa which is famous for it's bhav bhaji serves a delicious butter pav bhaji which seems oily but it is not oily at all and seems to be the homemade one.. the pav are also butter fried.. we did end the pav bhaji with 2 glasses of yummie masala chaas..

There were two very popular Food Joints opposite to Girgaum Church. One is Jalsa and another is Manohar
Jalsa is very Popular for its Paneer Burji and Pav Bhaji.
One can have paneer bhurji anywhere, so I ordered Pav bhaji, as mumbai's pav bhaji is special.
When I reached, i saw they were using only 4 vegetables like (boiled potato, peas, Capsicum & Onion with decent amount of Butter and masalas) to prepare Bhaji which i Guess makes Mumbai Pav bhaji really special.
As per my earlier experiences in Pav bhaji, which i had in North India, Jalsa pav bhaji was very Delicious & Different
One thing which i Understood is that in North India, several other vegetables are also used apart from these 4 vegetables for the preparation of Bhaji, with lot of butter that i guess spoil the taste of Bhaji.
Jalsa's pav bhaji had the right amount of butter, vegetables were properly crushed, moderate spices were used in it.
They served with 02 pavs, Onion, Lemon and Bhaji
Sitting space is around 15 to 20 People.
I found the prices are bit on a higher side.

If you are expecting hygienic place with good ambience, then this is not the place for you. Its a local Pav Bhaji joint where they serve tasty Pav Bhaji and Pulao.
They also serve Paneer bhurji with Paratha but, i will not suggest anyone to try it.
I've been here many times. Pav Bhaji tastes awesome on weekdays but on weekends, they fail to give the same taste.

One of the tastiest pav bhajis in Mumbai. Also their Tawa pulao made in butter is sheer bliss. But it miserably fails on space (just 4 tables) and ambience (a very very small place almost on the road). Best suitable for takeaway!
