Had Spicy Senorita pizza and Bruschetta. The pizza wasn't spicy as the name meant it to be. Overall it tasted good. Just the spiciness was missing. Bruschetta was too cheesy. Have had better bruschetta. Good place for pizza and pasta though.
Saras is a very small shop right opposite to Dmart in Mahavir Nagar. They serve some really good italian dishes in the area. This place is totally packed during the evenings and on weekends.
They are famous for their Pizzas and Pastas.
I tried their penne hot pot and cheese garlic bread. Penne hot pot is a red sauce pasta with veggies and corn and lots of cheese. The garlic bread was great too.
The place is really pocket friendly and the service is really prompt. A great place where you can have a quick bite.
Deliciously prepared Italian rice ( risotto) in a cute little place with proper seating arrangement and well mannered table services. The Italian rice was very tasty and an unforgettable dish one can have ever in an Italian cuisine.
I had tasted their Italian rice and the taste was just awesome out here. The place is a bit congested but the food is worth tasting.

Mahavir Nagar is known as food hub in Kandivali west. I had visited a food joint known as Saras Food Parlour, my friend had recommended to me, which is located just opp to D-Mart.
Ambiance is not that great, despite you get outdoor seating here.😅

The dish in the frame is Italian Rice😍Wat should i say about this yummy dish😋 the red sauce is just amazing full of veggies (carrot, broccoli, onion, beans, baby corn) it has a different taste which makes the dish worth eating. Also, the rice is tossed in a different masala which adds up to the taste.
I would recommend everyone to try their pasta😋😋. The sauce of the pasta is the best with perfect combination of cream and cheese.👍

Tasty food at very affordable price. It has a lot of Italian dishes among which we ordered penne hot pot pasta and cheese garlic bread. Both the dishes were mouth watering specially garlic bread. Its a small place but with an outstanding Italian food.

Tasty food at very affordable prices. We tried the white sauce pasta (alfredo) and can say that the Pasta and garlic bread is specially commendable.
Also loved the lasagne. It was loaded with veggies and cheese, and was extremely tasty.

An amazing little food joint which specializes mostly in italian style food. Although there are many good dishes in the menu my absolute favorite one would definitely be Italian rice. Italian rice comes with a creamy gravy with babycorn and broccoli in it. A little bit spicy but is very heavy and filling. The food here is amazinf and worth the price

Saras is a small place that serves amazing fast food. Their Roberto pizza has paneer, spinach and corn and is cheesy and tasty. It cost INR 220 and I think it was slightly overprriced for a small place like this. Their garlic bread is served beautifully and tasted decent as well. They give all their customers a complimentary soft drink to go with their meal, which is really nice.
Nice place for evening outing.. really Satisfied.Do try their pizzas if you happen to go ever...trust me it appeared so tempting. As the Name suggests Sarrrrrrrrras.....

It's a small outlet in mahavir nagar which serves the best Pasta. Seatings are very less but there's always waiting for the table.
One must definitely try Pink sauce pasta, I don't remember the name. You just say Pink sauce pasta. Proper blend of red and white sauce pasta ,Loaded and topped with cheese. The quantity of the dish is just amazing.
Atleast for 2 people, it is served in a big dish along with 2 garlic breads.
Have pasta with coke best combination.
So try having this pasta whenever you visit mahavir nagar and want to hog.

It offers italian food.. we ordered lasagna and penne hot pot pasta.. both of which are excellent and very tasty.. its not like the regular pasta you will get in other restaurants..
Prefer it over the other italian restaurants purely for the food..
Rissotto is my most favorite,it's smooth,tasty hot and amazing,a must try at this joint,apart from that pizza is also good and penne hot pot

A very small outlet at Mahavir Nagar Kandivali West . This has it all. You name the food and it is available at Mahavir Nagar. Saras is known for it’s delicious garlic breads, pasta, lasagna, pizza and Thai rice it is was crowded as the food is really delicious. We had garlic bread and they were amazing. Properly baked and lots of cheese.
Favourite place to hang out! If you are craving for pasta and Pizza! Also must have italian rice just loved it ❤️ one recommendation expand ur place so that there is no waiting . (Worth waiting place)

I use to visit this place in my childhood where i used to go for pizza and free cold drink :) Today after 10 years i visited this place again and this i went for Lasagne. I just loved it. It was served hot with veggies and red sauce perfect taste and combination. Along with lasagne i got 2 pieces of garlic bread. Although i didnt like garlic bread it was pieces of bread but soggy. But lasagne was awesome. Will go there again for to taste much talked Italian rice and alfredo pasta.
Although on zomato its written they accept card but this is not true they accept only cash so keep cash handy.
Guyss the place iss justt awesomee the food is the BEST. Dont forget to try the pink pasta. Its the best. The service is also good and the place is quite reasonable. Trust me if u love Italian this place is perfect.

Cheese Garlic Bread - Butteryyy and chessyyyy garlic bread is all you can ask for! Super delicious and soft, perfect garlic flavour not too less and not too more!

Lasagne - This is my favourite place to have lasagne, i tried many places but this place gives me the best of all, finely chopped veggies with loads of mozzarella and processed cheese!
It comes in a red sauce and served with 2 garlic breads! The best part of it is that the veggies inside are not totally cooked, they have a crunch and it tastes like WOW!

Exotica Thin crust Pizza - This pizza has 4-5 veggies + Paneer in it. It is soft at the inside and crisp as we take a bite. The pizza sauce are too buttery and delicious. They even offer wheat crust in their pizzas. Paneer was as usual soft and fluffy!

I seriously recommend this place for you all as it is delicious and pocket friendly too. It has a nice ambience. Fast service. Not a big restaurant but worth it!

I'm giving 5 stars because I have been to this restaurant from the beginning itself like when it had started in 2008. Believe me I have tried almost each n every dish presented over here. The people handling this restro now are like family only to me and familiar wid me n my parents too so they see to it dat we don't get stale or uncooked food.
Talking about the restro it's located at a prime location with lots of other eateries or restaurants besides it. Small compact but dat doesn't mean u can't enjoy here. Service provided is also prompt. There is no interiors because it has an open space outside for ppl sitting and inside the shop they have taken up the kitchen. No change since soo many yrs in d taste of food or the structure so you can say it is an old fashion way restro and not like the new ones.
Now talking about the food I would suggest many dishes varying from pizzas,pastas ,garlic bread,burger or sandwich.
My own favourite of all time are only 2-3 pizzas and giving the food details below.
1) Queen Margheritta- Cheese and mayonnaise loaded pizza wid awesome taste.
2) Spicy Senorita - paneer topped wid olives and jalapenos, tomatoes and capsicum having covered under the cheesy layer.
3) Corn job - Corn and cheese wid capsicum in it.
4) China town - Paneer, olives and onions wid a layer of cheese above and at d topmost fried noodles which we use to top up in soups.
5) Penne Hotpot pasta - my all time favourite pasta consisting of penne pasta indulged in many sauces wid corn.
This place is near my house and wanted to visit this place specially for their pasta

The hot penne pasta of this place is the best flavour of pasta i have ever tried and i go back there just for this. The taste and the quantity is so much to fill your tummies. I really love this place.
Saras always serves the best pasta. I totally love their pasta. They even have a special item name Italia risso ( Italian rice ) it's really very good.

This is my favourite place in Kandivali to have italian food with a twist. My most favourite there is pene formagi which is creamy white sauce pasta, pene hot pot which is a red sauce pasta and the holy italian risso which is rice mixed with herbs, paprika and garlic served with a nice thick gravy with exotic veggies. Its risso Its my all time soul food. The seating is open and small in the food heaven of kandivali at mahavir nagar. But its worth it being pocket very friendly.
Like any typical Gujju, I have passion, craze and love for food, especially authentic Italian. I have visited this restaurant several times, even when was very small.
I am a big fan of Saras' Risottto and Lasagne, but since months I have not visited here, so I decided to visit here. Like always, I ordered the sensational Risotto and the creamy Lasagne. Risotto, like every time, was tangy and awesome, but this time, the Lasagne was not up to the mark. My parents loved it, but I found it too cheesy (though I am a Cheeseoholic ;) ). We also took Corn Job Pizza, which was a bit on dry side. The food's quality, like always, was good.
The ambiance is ok. The service is quite slow, but then you understand when lots of people have gathered to eat at a single restaurant. Still, I believe this is a nice place to eat.

One of those place where I love to hang out . Outdoor seating with a lively surrounding . I have had lasagne many time but ooh boy the taste here is so memerizing that you can’t resist .At first if you see the serving you might think the quantity is not so good which was in my case but as I started eating I found that it was never ending 😂😂😂 .Quality ,quantity and the costing is so nominal that most of the students can afford . Service is best when you visit at working hours because as the day falls the customers rises !!!! This one place in mahavir nagar serves just Italian cuisine.
First impressions of this place were a lil doubtful, but when we had the pasta it tasted really good.
We tried the penne hot pot pasta, garlic bread and the penne formaggi.
One was a mixed sauce pasta we expected it to be pink but was slighty orangish in appearance. But it was yum.
The white sauce pasta was absolutely white and creamy.
Pasta hot pot was yummy and it they serve it with two pieces of bread and it's munchaow soup is also good overall food is good price is not too high.
This is a small joint next to very famous UFO fries. I tried their Italian rice and garlic bread. Rice could have been better.😋 Totally value for money and their portions are really big. I was surprised to see 8 pieces of garlic bread just for 140 bucks 👍🏻 You can visit this outlet for some light food or not so fancy dinner.
Saras it was excellent been here . I have visited here couple of times earlier but it was just mind-blowing this time. We orderd Red hotpot pennè and Cheesy Alfredo pasta's so hot and yummy 😋 . And a cheese chilly Pizza with olives and capcicum on the top just brilliant....
It's not that fancy place to visit. But u get decent food here... Garlic bread... Bruchetta.. cannelloni.. were the items I tried.. it's way too cheesy.. full of cheese.. cheese and cheese... must visit for a cheese lover...
Staff is courteous.. and do check your bill once before making payment, they tend to make mistakes in calculation and stuffs during peak time..

Saras is a well known and famous place since the eatery joints started in Mahavir Nagar.
Saras was the first shop in this area which introduced various garlic bread, bruschetta pizza and Mexican rice .
The best part is that they serve jain cheese bread.
Price wise it's a bit expensive I feel but than you get a good seating space and there are lot many daily soap actors who visit Saras and enjoy in there.
I have been visiting this place since last 4 years and I love to be here and seat have snacks and look at the public roaming around.

I'll highlight the positive - food is superb it typically desi pastas , Desi pizzas superb taste , it's fits your budget best Italian food you would find in Mahavir Nagar. Visited with family, they were too happy visiting this 1.. Pizzas, lasagne, pasta are appropriate as it should be.. Hygiene is good too as of street food. But it's sure 1 can go there n number of times
The pizza was delicious. The sitting arrangement over here is a little bit congested. We were not able to sit properly. The pizza over here has a thin crust base. This was the main reason that I liked this place soo much.
