Well had a dinner with my friend at this amazing restaurant. Which is located in Tadeo. The food here is literally mouth watering. The service was very nice. The ambience is also nice. The quality and quantity of the food is also great too.!!!

It’s almost 25Years that we’re visiting Lagoon Restaurant. Service is very quick & staffs are very humble. We have been to this place so many times, waiters here don’t even take our orders. Infact they place the order by themselves knowing that we’re here to have their best ever Chicken Tandoori Leg, Chicken Roll & Chicken Tandgi Kebabs. Well if you’re visiting here don’t forget to try this trio combination & Chinese Cuisines😍
Good for food. Although the ambience is quite average, nevertheless you can enjoy dinner with friends and family. Chicken dishes are real tasty. Worth every penny. :)

With all top restaurants of south Mumbai then don’t forget to visit this place....as a foodie I have personal believe the ambience just add extra points to the review but food plays major role when u r rating the place...coming to food chicken baida roti must try,mutton Bhunna,chicken bhuna,tandoori chicken,butter chicken,rumalis and it ends well with custurd bcos this is the best dessert serve and they don’t have too much option on the same....this place all in all will brings smile on your face before u leave....

visited this restaurant on 4th aug 18 as it is near to our office. Ordered for Chicken White more of oily stuff , good taste and stomach filling. naan also was good and soft as requested. Last 2 month had tasted their Chicken Biryani and malai Kabab taste was nice.
Delicious mouglia food, mouth watering kebabs, at very reasonable rates. the best place for authentic mouglia food. the ambience is good.

Was there for sunday dinner , the food was very nice specially chicken chilly dry , servicr was prompt ,the waiters werent filling the glass as it used to get over and we needed to tell the waiter twice for extra glasses as there were 3 glasses for 5 people rest it was good.

They serve different types of starters including a grill variety like kebabs, chicken baida roti, tandoori chicken etc.Try their gravy dishes especially the Butter chicken,Chicken Lazeez, Murg Mussallam & the Chinese cuisine which is typical Indian Chinese for the desi foodie.
Biryani is colored rice without good Masala which is average, hence, avoid this item here.
Lagoon has a minimum order criteria for Home delivery and their eating restaurant is non-AC.

One of the very few places in mumbai where you can get extremely yummy food at an affordable price and with such fast service. The Mughlai and Chinese is simply amazing. The tandoori chicken and biryani, with the caramel custard will leave you in splits.
Non-vegetarians delight. Chinese and mughlai are their specialties. Their roast chicken and kababs are very famous. Chicken baida roti is also amazing! Everything here is tasty.
Absolutely mind bogglingly brilliant BONELESS CHICKEN BIRYANI! The masalas and flavours are month watering, unqiue and definitely worth ordering home!
Chicken baida roti is amazing the tandoori and kababs served here are juicy and delicious must visit. The ambiance of the restaurant is not that appreciable. But it is worth going for the taste.

Yesterday visited this place with my father is one of the best mughlai food i have eatten in my life. Chicken tandoori and chicken bhuna are must taste dishes over here. It is pocket friendly and talking about quality of food is also very good.

Grat food value for money the place is just awesome. Food was good nice place to go with family and friends service was fast but when i ask for the bill the bill amount was told oraly. But aney way food was awesome.
At first look the place might not impress you but the food we ordered was impressive. Tandoori items are too good. Chic biryaani was good. Not a wallet heavy place as all items are reasonably priced. The place can look too crowded when full but anways the service was quick. Overall a reasonale place to enjoy your meal

The first look of this place will not impress you as its and ordinary looking restaurant at Nana chowk.
The BBQ / sigdi is right outside the main door, you can see the fresh preparation of tandori item and kebabs.
Ambience is ok, wooden tables and no fancy stuff. The staff is good; they will help you deciding order and are mostly give accurate advice as per your requirements. The service is pretty quick.
All dishes made over BBQ / grill are amazing….chicken tandori is the one I like the most here.
Malai kebab and chicken liver are the really good to try.
If you are a sea food lover, they have it on their menu.
Mutton sheikh kebab, kheema and chicken biryani (boneless) is worth trying.
The restaurant is pocket friendly and the dishes are worth the price – Quality and quantity.
If you order for home delivery, order at least an hour before expected time as they are fail to meet expectations for home delivery.
Overall – A good place to visit for non vegetarians.

Okay this place is nice.
Before, it was like a competition among lagoon and heroes.
But these guys never renovated.
Not the place, not the menu, I'm sure not even the plates.
It's still not so bad, the food is nice too, except the oil.
Yeah I don't know if these guys gets the oil for free or what but there's a hell lotta oil in most of their dishes.
It's just like the butter at Sardar pao bhaji.
If you're ordering from here, make sure you don't order all of them mughlai, or you won't need a month worth of oil anymore :P
I always order from this place, I used to go there too, then Heroes renovated and now its better to go there so.

I'd say they have one of the best tandoori chicken in Mumbai
A Place which is 7-8 minutes from Grant Road station right next to August Kranti Maidaan
And it's exceptionally pocket friendly.
Totally sold and mesmerized by this locality mainly due to the Haji Ali dargah which I love visiting as many times I can,be it work or just for the visiting sake.
Untimely hunger and this time me and my friends had cravings for something in Chinese. Since lagoon is very closely located near grant road station,we dropped in here. Ambience felt nice. Service was friendly. Looking upon the menu we ordered Chicken combination rice.
Preparation took a while but the wait seemed worth it. Priced well it did taste good enough. The blend of rice and noodles was well done with the masala used in adequate quantities were spicy to some extent. The end result: tummies full and taste buds satiated!
Good food. Fine service and decent ambience. Hygiene constraints kept in mind.

Had been to this place a week ago and ordered for Mughlai and Tandoori. Must say, Tandoori impressed me. Barbeque and Chicken Tandoori are must haves alongwith typical 'green chutney'. Well suited for non-vegers.

Chicken baida roti and chicken kheema roti are the best over here. Chicken tandoori(little spicy, tender) fish fry,(with less oil) chicken stew are the dishes tried.

I have never visited the place but we had home delivery from this restaurant. Food was really tasty..we had brain fry, butter chicken, chicken biryani and chicken tandoori..
All were amazing especially tandoori..and even biryani was not very oily as we get in most of the restos.
Best place at nana chowk where you can eat best tandoor dishes, full marks to tandoori chicken and all tandoor food, you can even try baida roti, chicken roti and keema roti, chicken kadai is the best, nice and old restaurant in Mumbai

A Family Restaurant with quite a decent Ambience..Nice space overall, but when it gets crowded, it becomes claustrophobic..Tandoor items are at its Best, so dont ever miss out on tandoori items list..Mughlai food is good & so is Chinese.. But only thing thats negative is that almost all items are exorbitantly priced..
I have always loved their starters, be it tandoor or chinese..Tangdi Kebabs and Chicken Lollypop is also good in taste..Tje Lollypop though is too expensive at 200INR..The marination is good though..I have even tried their Butter Chicken, Chicken Kadai & Chicken Handi recently...All of them tasted good..especially if you tried them with Butter Garlic naan..I've even tried their Chicken Lazeez Boneless..It is a green colored gravy with many chicken pieces..Can be consumed by two..But beware, it is a lot hell spicy due to the presence of loads of green chillies...One seldom gets confused between the colour of green bell peppers & green chillies..
A special note for people ordering their Chicken 65 Dry..Unlike most other restaurants, Chicken 65 here isn't worth ordering..& Yes! I mean that..Almost no garlic in the dish, way too many Curry-Leaves (Kadi-Patta) & no red chillies?? The semi-dry part tasted almost bland..The Chicken pieces are covered up in too much flour/maida whatever..
I still would like to try their Seafood section as I haven't had it here in a long time..
