There is something really raw, authentic, and fluid about this space. Balraj and his team are amazing hosts and are always up to doing something new. It is lovely how this space is slowly becoming into a launchpad for fresh talent. Good Luck Tuning Fork <3

At first, this place was an Oyo Townhouse that has been turned into different spaces. One of them is Habitat, so technically, rooms have been converted into an event space. The small space, however, features a nicely set up stage and a small cafeteria (in the room) and at the entrance as well. It seats approximately 20-30 guests.

Wonderful venue to enjoy Standup Comedy in Mumbai. There are 2-3 shows happening every day. Good 55-seater room. You can even purchase a drink and enjoy it during the show.

Probably the best place for Quality Standups! The Crowd, the management and of course the performers are at the next level. The seating capacity is around 50, which makes the environment more cozy and artist get to interact with the audience.

Good vibes to enjoy stand up comedy shows while having drinks and snacks counter in the hall.

One of the most well known venues to encourage new talent in poetry and stand up comedy. The sound is crisp. I absolutely enjoyed the host's witty puns, Mr. Parijat Sarkar was just too good.

A nice venue for performances and gigs. They have some superb poetry & more open mic nights and stand up comedy gigs. You can also discover some great Indie music artists here. The sound could be better though. It's very inconsistent throughout the space. Although, I Love the 'basement-ish grunge' vibe & decor. Drinks are moderately priced, albeit slightly on the higher side for a place like this. They also serve a small yet good menu of pasta, sandwiches, Tapas and Chinese. The smoking section outside can get very crowded and smokey, at times. And they don't even keep a dustbin, so it gets dirty fast, when you have about a hundred butts thrown around. Their washrooms are clean though, so that's great. Keep a look out for their weekly schedule and do catch a show or two here.

The tiramisu had expired but good they took it back and gave me a refund! The show was great and the ambiance was good overall. Just the habitat cafe is a bit overpriced! Will carry my own water from next time!

It’s a hidden treasure. I didn’t know that this place even existed until I visited last night for a comedy show. The ambience is great and you can buy drinks and food at a decent price. When you enter the hotel it feels like you are doing to a dingy place but the interiors of the Habitant is unlike the entrance to the hotel. It’s clean and has a vibe. The sound system is great as well. The toilets are clean too.

My wife and I attended a stand-up comedy show at The Habitat, and it proved to be a superb experience. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The venue exudes the vibe of where the genuine bohemian crowd of Mumbai gathers. It provides a safe yet delightfully gritty atmosphere that beckons you to return. I simply loved it.One drawback is that they do not offer valet parking & the lane in which it is located can get pretty crowded & noisy.
