everything that i had was just perfect.. The Ambience gives u a nice positive feel... The service was 10/10 .. well trained staff.. keep it up.. highly recommend the place for indian food lovers.. must visit��Went on a wed night and it was packed.. .

I selected the restaurant randomly, was disappointed seeing the faded worn off decor and overused cutlery
We were the 1st to reach the venue and till we left there were only 4 tables occupied yet the service was slow with servers not so friendly in their attitude
We ordered for beer which came first to the table with no accompaniments and post requesting stale roasted papad was served!
The chaats were decent however everything was over sweetened
The Banta soda is soda wz ready sweetened jaljeera liquid...too sweet to enjoy!
The chicken tikka & Kurkure bhindi were good however galawat kebab was more powdery maida than meat
We had decided on a 3 but they took us by surprise with the main course
Except the tawa paneer(which I see is their worst tagged dish) everything else was scrumptious!

The best mughali food is here with the best jalebi rabdi!! The food is so awesome and delicious that you will want to order more things!! We were so full eating but we couldn't resist eating the jalebis they were so perfect and crunchy!! The chicken Tikka was so well cooked... The ambience is amazing with good crowd... After the second attempt I got a chance to eat here the first time when we came the restaurant had some private event and the second time i dint check the time and the restaurant was shut in the evening and the third time we were literally waiting for our chance so that we could eat here!! The ambience was not earth shaking but good for the venue, the service was better than good and the food yes awesome & that's what it was all about. This was my third visit and it's about time I pen down a review. I booked a reservation through Zomato on a busy Saturday evening. The owner had arranged for a nice table for us and the staff were humble and great. Ordered the nonveg platter and they customised the same for us. Excellent Galouti and Malai Kebabs.... For the main course, we ordered the adraki chicken and it was scrumptious. Overall a 10/10 for everything. The order takes time but trust me it's worth the wait. Keep it up guys. A must go place and highly recommended..

I visited Basanti and Co. on a weekday with my friend. We stared with Tandoori Aloo and Dahi Ke Kebab. Both the appetisers were stars in their own right with the kebab mouth-wateringly tender and soothing to the palate and the aloo starter delectably spicy. For mains we opted for paneer tikka and stuffed onion kulcha. While the gravy was a tad heavy and oily, the kulcha was quite good and generously stuffed. We also had the Banta soda which was a jaljeera soda concoction, refreshing and a good accompaniment to the food. The staff was generous, friendly and gave good recommendations. They also served us extra chillies on request and made the food to our taste. A place I will definitely recommend for good North Indian cuisine.
Located in 7 bungalows, it is a great place if you want to have north indian food.
Sitting was quite comfortable and the lights were pretty. But the service was a little slow. The staff was courteous.The music playing in background was trendy and at the right volume.
We had ordered:
Starters - Tandoori aachari aloo and hara bhara kebab
Main course- Paneer tikka masala with some indian breads like roti,naan,etc, Daal tadka and jeera rice
The quantity of the food was sufficient enough to serve the four of us.
Their complimentary paan shots offered in the end were served in a fancy hand cart which was very impressive.

Situated on the outskirts of 7 Bungalows is this wonderful restaurant.
One of the best part of this eatery is that it is open till late night. 2am, you feel hungry and have nowhere to go, head towards Basanti.
The ambiance is up to the mark with high tables dim lighting and comfortable sofa seats.
My order included chatpata guava juice, Lahori Chicken tikka, Gilauti Kebabs and Mutton Biryani.
Being a foodie, I keep on wandering around to try something different, something which will please my taste buds, and I was mesmerized with the taste of Gilauti Kebabs. The taste was so to ones I had in Lucknow (Tunday Kebab)
The kebab was so soft and succulent with a perfect mix of spices and herbs.
Mutton Biryani is also worthy to be tried.
The chatpata guava juice is also the one not to be missed
You will be served complimentary Pan shots when you finish your meal. (Though it was a bit sweet)
The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth visiting.

There are not many lavish casual dining places serving authentic Punjabi dishes in suburbs along with drinks n places like this is welcomed.. This place is bang opposite versova social n is like 8/10 mins walk from versova metro station.. We were greeted nicely by staff n we made ourselves comfortable in AC section were seatings are spacious n couches are comfortable.. They also have small seating area in non ac section may be for smokers.. The interior of this place is vibrant n colourful n is full of good vibes.. Food menu is decent having varieties of North Indian dishes.. Drinks menu is decent serving cocktails as well as wine options along with regular drinks.. They also have a nice set up unlimited lunch menu at affordable prices for weekdays.. Here's my take on food we had..
Palak ka shorba - This spinach soup was delicious n had loads of cream on it giving it a rich n creamy taste n texture.. Very light n perfect way to start one's meal
Subz galawati kebab - These pan fried minced vegetables kebabs were very delectable n had very smooth texture n melted the moment kept in mouth.. It had very nice flavour n one will surely relish having this one
Paneer tikka - It was nicely made n succulent Paneer cubes were marinated perfectly with spices.. Had authentic taste
Paneer do pyaza - This onion based gravy vegetable was delicious n had succulent pieces of paneer in it.. Taste wise it was perfect medium spicy n if u looking for option in Paneer do go for this one
Subz kadhai - This mix vegetable lacked flavour n was bland.. After having few good dishes this one just disappointed me big time
Breads - Breads are very important while having Punjabi cuisine n I tried few varieties of bread out here.. Butter roti was good.. Butter naan was enjoyable only till the time it was hot, later got too rubbery.. Onion kulcha was disappointing.. It tasted good but it had hard texture n I literally had to eat it using both hands.. Can be avoided
Dal khichdi - This comforting meal made with rice n lentils had homely taste n was very delicious.. It had nice aroma coming out of it n it was perfect light as well as satisfying
Paan Shots- This one was served complimentary.. This exciting combination of the dessert n after-meal paan into one glass was mouth-watering.. Every sip of this aromatic drink will send a lovely tingle down your spine
Overall my food experience was decent.. Service was good n staff were very courteous n well behaved.. Our server (can't recollect his name, some Muslim guy) was very helpful in guiding us while giving order n food was served in good time except repeat bread which took them 10 mins to serve n is practically not acceptable midway dinner.. Quantity of most items I had are good for 3/4 ppl.. Price wise its mid range but reasonable for one using Zomato gold or Dineout offer.. Overall a decent place to suffice ur craving for decent North Indian food

Serving tasty punjabi food, ordered makai ki roti and sarso ka saag the roti was thin, not a proper makai ki roti still the combination tasted good! We were being served by Mr Vasant, he’s pleasant and warming waiter. You can ask for his service when you come here. Overall a subtle family punjabi restaurant.

I was recommended this place by couple of friends so decided to go there for SOMEONE'S birthday celebration with my closed ones. This place is very close to versova socials. We got place immediately being a weekday and the ambience was nice with music. The service was good and food was served in timely manner.

It won't be an exaggerated statement, if I say that it is one of the best places in mumbai for awadhi & north indian food and I couldn't stop myself from writing a review after my few visits to Basanti & co. Going in group is advised if one really wants to explore their extensive menu, because exactly that's what I did in my last visit.
Being a vegetarian, the half of the menu becomes useless for me, but half which was for me was not the better, but the best one.
Not pulling it long, limited choice of soups, but Palak Ka shorba was too good and even Tomato & Coriander soup was also equally good. Chats and Masala Papad were good start, but Paneer Tikkas were actually melting in mouth and by the time the portions of Galauti Kebab, Seekh Kabad & Dahi ke Kebab arrived, we realised that as you reach on next course, their food taste & quality is also being elevated.Bharwan Aloo Tandoori becomes a must try here. Overall the starters were too good, not even one to complain.
Mocktails were good, but Goti Soda is must to have as it made me nostalgic. Main course included one paneer dish which was too good, but Hyderabadi Saalan, Black Dal & Biryani was cut above the class. And after stuffing all this, we were all prepared to skip deserts, but had not been the recommendation of the manager, we would have really missed on Jalebi Rabdi & delicious Firni....
Overall a place deserving frequent repeat of the visit to explore more of their great menu. Full marks from me.
Headed for a casual dinner on a Saturday night. The interiors are nice and bright giving a happy feel to the place. We ordered Paneer tikka and khate dahi ke kebab for starters which were nice and fresh. The spicy guava drink was average. For mains we ordered paneer do pyaza and chefs recommended monaco both of which had a great taste and were less oily. Just one thing, although the staff is polite, the service is real slow!

North India Restaurant located just opposite Versova Socials. They have Vallet Parking thankfully. Went for Sunday Dinner and they do take reservations.
Not to big restaurant, with decent décor. On entering one might just get a little too congested feeling but then the food will compensate all! Plus they have Zomato Gold. The service is decent, the washrooms were tacky.
So about food, we happened to Order for starters Maki Channe ki Tikki and Nawabi Subz Shekh.. both were the Tandoor items and very well cooked..the later was very tasty. For the mains we order Kadai Panner, Dal Makhini and assorted breads.. Dal Makhini was no less than JW ki dal! Whereas paneer was so soft and well spiced up. The food experience was over all very good.
Moderately priced, however having Zomato Gold will be a bonus!
My overall rating goes 4/5… for food its 5/5… one less for being little congested+ mosqitoes.

For main course we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala - The paneer was so soft and good along with regular Rotis.

We ordered one stater and palm paneer and vege biryani, everything was tasty... though it took time to bring food... it was worth wait! The only thing I feel was menu had only one cuisine which is North Indian and it also did not had too many options or unusual new combinations to offer ( which is expected if restaurant is serving only one cuisine this days).. but strongly recommended for ppl looking to eat usual North Indian food.

Basanti & Co. situated in a quite place from the hustle and bustle of the city in versova is a must visit for Punjabi cuisine lovers. From Nazakat-E-Paneer to Jalebi Rabdi everything was finger licking delicious. The ambience was really good with bright coloured walls, gadas and frames. They played hit music which set you in a mood to dance. We had the traditional dal makhni and paneer do pyaaza. We ordered a basket containing different types of parathas, naans and rotis. You should definitely order that if you've gone in a huge group. I would surely visit the place again to try the drinks and non-veg sometime.
Had an amazing time there! The food that we tried was the laccha parathas and the murg awadhi korma. And it was really amazing. The ambience is really cool and the music just elevates the vibe. It's a nice place for family and friends.

The food is so amazing , we ordered for kabab platter everything apart from the prawn was mouthwatering! I personally being a sea food lover thought the prawn wasn't fresh at all.. we also ordered dahi ke kebab wihich was good ! Mains we ordered their speciality butter chicken and nans n rumali roti, and mutton biryani , all the food was excellent and made to perfection! Located in the comparatively silent location of the versova, this place serves North Indian food. Beautiful ambience, quick and polite service and great food! The attention to the detail is just on point. Coming to the food, for the starters we had ordered a paneer and chicken starter. Both were yum. For the mains luccha paratha and butter chicken, not that great kinda okayish. Lastly we had dal tadka and basmati rice and they were amazing. Just a suggestion, ask the chef to suggest some yum dishes because some dishes are not satisfying. Overall satisfied wouldn’t mind coming again.

On the main road leading to Versova.. this quaint new eatery springs a surprise..named after Basanti of Sholay it has got good flavours to match the ambience and light Bollywood music to go with.
A couple of friend decide to go out for a quite Indian dinner & were not disappointed. A nice cosy place with outside seating available as well. The ambience & service was good & the food par excellence. The Indian desserts helped us leave on a sweet note after a memorable dinner.👌👍
Good soothing ambiance with great hospitality. Went with family and had amazing time. Must say, food was to die for. Not only non veg but vegetarian as well.
Would recommend to visit the restaurant.

Affordable Punjabi restaurant with cocktails and alcoholic drinks in Versova.
The butter chicken, biriyani, Tikka starters are delicious.
Also there is an imli rum cocktail for rum lovers!
Really best Awadhi food in town n really good hospitality...
Overall a very nice restaurant with good food and drinks but restaurant needs to increase the number of dishes

It's a new place and the food and ambience is awesome. The service is also good. But this is a place where you go when you have ample time and want to chill. If you expecting to catch a quick bite and leave might be difficult. The ambience is relaxed and service a tad bit slow. The chicken starters are all yummy. The must try if prawns salan. I would highly recommend and go there again
