Had an amazing experience with Food in colaba dining. We had orferd American choupsey and butter naan and brownie Sundae. The chicken wanton soup was so fresh and the chicken lollipops were too very soft and juicy. The ambience is also just amazing and a best time to go with friends and family is for dinner. The staff is also very cooperative and polite.
Loved this place, we had so many parties here during our college time. It has amazingly tasty food specially non veg dish, north indian chicken dishes tandoori starts.

Tried Chicken kadhai and ghotala, simply out of the world. Went in with the expectations of a normal Indian restaurant but they jazzed up the kadhai pretty well. Impressive.
Tried chicken manchow soup and chicken lollipop. The soup was amazing and chicken lollipop looked yumm and it was awesome at taste,very fresh and we'll marinated.The flavor was just exact that one cannot resist to eat!

Food Inn is one of those really good value for money 💰 food places on Colaba causeway.
The ambience is simple with seating 💺 available in both air conditioned & non-air conditioned sections. It’s definitely not the best part of this restaurant and I don’t recommend you take partner here on the first date. It can be a little bit cramped but then it’s Mumbai and space is premium here.
The service is quick and staff prompt and friendly. The food is prepared & served in good time. The quantity and quality are what is good about this place.
Out of all the dishes we tried (Tandoori Chicken 🍗, Murgh musallam, White Mutton, garlic naan, tandoori roti, caramel Custard & malai kulfi), the Murgh musallam would be our pick of the table. The white mutton was good too. Overall the fare was cooked well and tasted pretty good.
I would skip the fresh line sodas 🥤 & the malai kulfi next time. The fresh lime was not fresh and the malai kulfi had a weird texture as it was completely frozen.
Overall, I would definitely return here once in a while to enjoy the value for money 💵 food 🥘.

Non veg is very tasty and very cheap compared to other places. I had Mutton tawa and Mutton dabba ghost with tondori roti. Each item is very tasty.

A place to have some delicious Indian fare. We ordered dal makhani, zeera rice , finger chips and lime soda and tea. All of them were tasty. The service is god too. And yes reasonably priced .
We visited this place yesterday before heading towards kala ghoda fest and it was a pleasent date for us. The tandoori we ordered was too good served with finger licking mint chutney. Was dissappointed with the taste of butter chicken as it wasnt so good tasted a little sweet.

The most profound part about this place was we reached here at 12 13 on Saturday night and they still took our order the just did not take the order but also gave us yummy food !!!! We ordered for mutton kadhai and butter chicken !! Damn!!! Was just awesome!!! Loved the food and the people are so much welcoming... Just adored the smile they gave us while entering and leaving and the manager said aadaab I was like quite a few have the mannerism to greet the guests goodbye like this these days ...

There are 2 sections non-ac which is on the lower level and the AC section which is on the upper floor. The ambience is nice and quite on the upper floor.
The servers are quite helpful in suggesting dishes from the menu .
Our personal favourite has always been Crispy chicken and butter chicken . Apart from these I'm confident enough that they cannot go wrong with any tandoor item or moughlai item listed on their menu...so don't hesitate to order any dish.

Food Inn, a restaurant serving Mughali, Chinese, North-Indian cuisine. located quite near Colaba Causway. at first it looks an average place but sure holds an old fashioned charm.
Tried Murg Mussallam , Butter Garlic Naan , Chicken Lollypop. Mussallam was on point with chicken so tender and really complimented well with the Garlic Naan. Chicken Lollypop was also decent, a perfect crisp layer. All in all a good experience but needs improvement in service.

We were given a table on first floor (with AC). We ordered butter chicken and naan. Safe to say that this is one of the very few butter chicken in Bombay which is NOT sweet, just the right spice. It's very much affordable and way better ambience than other restaurants around like BadeMiya and Baghdadi.

When I saw the ratings on Zomato, I didn't have much expectations from the place. But what a beautiful surprise it turned out to be. The place was very elegant and it had old fashioned feeling to it.
We had ordered veg sweet and sour soup, tandoori chicken, butten tandoor roti, chicken tikka masala and veg Kolhapuri. The veg soup was the only disappointment. It was really terrible. The chicken tandoori was amongst the best I have ever eaten in Mumbai. It was soft and juicy and the chicken had some really good meat on it. Veg Kolhapuri was very spicy. Chicken tkka masala was mouth watering. The butter tandoor rotis were soft. Even the service was really good. Our waiter constantly cleaned our tables. The place is also very clean and appears hygienic.
Overall, its a hidden gem and its a value for money. Will rate it 4.5/5 but Zomato has sadly removed the feature to rate in decimals. A must visit for non veg lovers. Tandoori chicken is a must have here.

This place is located in between busy shopping lanes of colaba causeway. A simple ambiance with seatings both upside and downstairs. The seatings upstairs is an Air conditioned room which is a little small. The food is very delicious. Both mughlai and chinese taste amazing. Service is very quick and staff is courteous.

The location could not be better. Well furnished. AC area on first floor. Variety of cuisine available however with limited choices. Food was tasty. Salli boti, aab gosht, and seek were appreciable. The rice was well.cooked and tasty. Service was prompt and good. Expenditure was reasonable for the family of four.
After visiting this place many times, usually after visiting the gateway, the elephanta or some shopping at Colaba.

Visited this place several times, as it is well positioned on the famous colaba causeway.
They have real good mughlai options on the menu. Chinese is decent.
The mughlai food without doubt is awesome with regards to quantity and quality.
Till date we have tried
-Chicken lollipop (this is very meaty as compared to anywhere else served with shezwan sauce)
-Hakka noodles (fairly tasty)
-Chicken crispy treat (this has really good quantity and taste is the best)
-Prawns pepper fry (not sure if they served is the right dish, but the prawns were nothing peppery instead it was just coated with a Masala and flour coating, yet it was yummy and size of prawns was good!)
-Chicken tikka biryani (This was the best biryani in that area even though there is Delhi darbar in the same vicinity, I feel this place had the tastiest biryani. The smoky flavor and perfect blend of spices was the treasure we found here)
-Hot and sour + manchow soup (It has a lot of big chunks of meat and veggies, but lacked the strong hit of Chinese flavors we had to add the additional sauces provided)

Food inn is located on the busy streets of Colaba ,it’s quite an old establishment serving Mughlai food basically but they also serve a bit of global food just to give enough options for the foodies.In my opinion one should stick to ordering Mughlai cuisine as that is their speciality.
I have visited this place quite a few times and love their Murg Mussalam which can easily be served among 4 adults ,their tandoor items are good so are the breads.Service is decent and value for money is justified.Havent really tried other cuisines or dishes as I mostly visit to relish their sumptuous Mussalam.

I remember my uncle had taken me to this place in 1999 and ever since this restaurant has a special place in my heart. I have been a regular visitor as my graduation college was near by and this place has never failed in terms of meeting the food taste and quality consistency. Went with my wife & kid.one of the oldest restaurant's in Mumbai. It's next to colaba causeway..we ate Chicken Afghani and Naan & my wife ate Baked Bean Grill sandwich.well coming to chicken Afghani it was amazing and the quantity was good for 2 but the Baked Bean Grill sandwich was not good and was very small in size for the price.. still a good place to eat non veg food. Will definitely go again & try something new.

A good place on Colaba causeway, which is good and tasty. Easy on pocket also, but recent observation is that the quantity has reduced. Altogether a nice place to eat with family and friend.
