And 'Harissa spiced chicken' chicken stuffed and tossed in spicy sauce served with rice.
For dessert we tried KitKat freakshake, and was absolutely delightful 🤩
Our table was managed by Mr.laxman who guided us well and was polite.
Special mention we loved the kareoke night,it was cherry on top on visiting kaala Chashma.

I have visited this place twice. The very first thing that impress me is the decorations and ambiance, because it was something new to me. Live music, crowd the place is so live and I think best place to go out or do party for the young generation and the party lovers of any age 😋. One more thing need to ad d that the place is very much selfie compatible😁.
Well 2nd thing the service was really fast and all the staffs were really cooperative, caring and polite.

What can i say about this place !!!! Wonderful and fantastic place to chill, relax and have fun. We recently visited this place and trust me guyz i was amazed by the ambience and then the live music simply made me go crazy.

So to begin with we ordered 2 mocktails pomegranate & basil lemonade & chataka swizzle. The pomegranate one was actually a Tiki kinda drink and was marvelous in taste.
For the starters we began with mushroom on toast and Avocado on toast. I simply loved the avocado on toast. Hadippa Harissa Chicken 🍗 which my friend enjoyed alot. We then had some fun with the Karaoke 🎤 DJs as it was a Karaoke night.
Cocktails we opted for Jab they met which was an amalgamation of Hibiscus 🌺 lavender tea, cranberry, lime and traces of herbs, and sparkling water with gin.
The second cocktail was once upon a time in mexico 🇲🇽. It was basically tequila mixed with salted pineapples puree, cumin spice & ginger ale, wood smoked.
I am not much into cocktails so I didn’t really like both of them but i guess according to your preference you can opt for whatever u want.
We then had some tomato and basil soup because that is something i love alot and i cannot leave a chance to fulfill my belly with it. Harissa spiced chicken was something again my friend ordered for the main course and she loved it. I really like how they have a perfect portion of main course without the plate being full. I ordered mexican hummus bowl with broccoli 🥦 and i got myself lost in the flavors it had. Perfect portion and fantastic taste.
At the end we ordered Kaala Chashmah Kit Kat blast freakshake because i know i have that sweet tooth 😛😛
Overall i am a great fan of this place and a fabulous place for family get together and much more.

There was a big buzz around in Thane about this restaurant called Kala Chashma😎. As filmy and catchy the name of the restaurant is, I searched the restraunt on Zomato to check out what the buzz is all about🕺. The menu seemed to be quite interesting with a mix of continental, north indian, Chinese. Later, I came to know that it belongs to the chain of monis restaurant which is definitely my favourite restaurant in Thane. Previously Kala Chashma was known as Mantra. But it was renovated later to Kala Chashma. So finally, I gave the restaurant a visit one Friday afternoon.
Ambience:
Located at first floor of Dhiraj Hotel, it has quite a filmy ambiance, with soothing bollywood songs playing in the background. They have great lightings in the restaurant with quite a big seating space.
Ambience Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food Rating:
The menu is quite innovative and intuitive with well thought dish names like we will we will wok you, nacho nacho for loaded nachos, PTM karo for paneer tikka masala, Funsuk Wangdu for Thupka wanton soup😜
We tried the following dishes:
1. Veg and water chestnut Dimsusms:
The Dimsums were cooked perfectly, the wanton sheats used were well prepared, the veg stuffing was great. Two sauces were served. The green one was too good! It multiplied the taste of Dimsums.
2. Paneer Bao:
The Bao was so soft and perfectly cooked. The paneer inside literally melts in your mouth. The sauce used for the paneer was awesome, flavoured with garlic and other spices.
3. Pot rice:
The ingredients used for the pot rice were good. The veggies were great but the sauce was a bit mediocre, was tasting a bit odd, not that bad though.
Food Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service:
As the restaurant was not overcrowded, all the servers were attentive and answering all the queries. All the servers are very kind but one thing which I'll like to bring to management's notice is that they must be better trained about the menu. The menu is seriously awesome with a wide range of dishes. The staff must know thoroughly what cuisine the dish belongs to and a basic knowledge of what the ingredients are. But that I am sure will improve over time.

The Kaala Chasma Black Out
Full flavored vodka with kala khatta, fresh pineapple juice, berry and touch of black Salt. It tastes so good.
Pomegranate & Basic Lemonade
This mocktail is a combination of Pomegranate, lychee, peace gomme, fresh basil & sparkling water. It was absolutely refreshing.
Red Velvet Shake
This freak shake is made of Cream cheese, rasberry, Nutella, white chocolate sauce, Chocolate kisses, vanilla ice cream, milk & whipped cream. The shake was delicious and topped with lots of whipped cream. It wasn't thick. Surely recommended for milkshake lovers.
The A- maize- ing Chaat
Bombay chaat platter. This platter contains bhel, pani puri shots, vada pav and pav bhaji. Such a mouth watering platter. A must try for chaat lovers. Damn, I'm drooling again.
Water Chestnut & Vaggies Dimsum
Dimsum were steamed perfectly and had good stuffing in it. They were very juicy and the veggies add a nice crunch to them.
Mexican Hummus bowl with Broccoli Rice
This bowl was amazing. This bowl contains Siracha Hummus, broccoli rice, sour cream, nachos, salsa, rajma and veg cutlet. Tasted scrumptious.
Spicy Paneer Pizza
The pizza was spicy and delicious. Loved it.
Kaala Chasma Signature Dessert
One of the best dessert to try. Chocolate dome is decorated with whipped cream and on top of the dome they placed a chasma. The presentation is quite interesting. Chocolate dome is filled with chocolate mousse, dry fruits and hot chocolate sauce is poured over it. Proper balance of all the flavours. It is rich, heavy and delicious. A perfect treat for all the chocolate lovers .
Choco Jamun Tart
The tart was soft. A layer of chocolate is spread at the base and mini Gulabjamun & whipped cream are placed on it. Very nicely presented. This dessert didn't really work out for me.
Overall it was an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this place.

Kaala Chashmah is such a buzzing restaurant in Thane from the time it has opened. This place is so spacious which can accommodate a huge crowd with a beautiful ambiance. You will find crowd of all age groups having a wonderful dining experience. The service here is on time. The waiters help you out in every thing you need. The names of the dishes are all related to Bollywood movies or songs which is just so catchy. Coming to what I had:

1. Apna Thyme Aayega: Very refreshing drink. Before u begin to have something this is exactly what you need.

3. Paani Da Rang: This one takes you to a sweeter note.
Appetizers:
1. Kurkure Khurchan: Naan bases tacos which had paneer masala stuffed with various sauces. Tacos got an Indian twist!
2. Spicy Paneer Bao: This was spicy. Chunks of paneer stuffer in a bao. It tasted perfect.
3. Hadippa Harissa Chicken: The appetizer like no other. Your eyes can't be taken off this particular dish. So well presented with an amazing taste. The chicken pieces were in skewers. A perfect Chinese started I'd look for.
Main Course
1. Moroccon Spiced Paneer: A perfect main course which consisted of rice, Chole gravy and grilled paneer. A dish sufficient for 2 people and if your a vegetarian u should try this one.
Dessert
1. Kaala Chashmah Signature: Chocolate dome with chocolate ice-cream and mousse inside. Then liquid hot chocolate is topped giving a perfect end to the scrumptious meal.
This place will always be on my go-to list now.

Kaala Chashma is a really nice Restaurant in the Louiswadi area of Thane. I visited with my family for Lunch and loved the Food here.
I specially loved the Red Velvet and Kitkat Shakes which were so good and delicious. I will surely visit again for those Shakes.
In the Food dishes I really liked the Prawns Butter Garlic, Humma Humma Humma, Harrissa Chicken Kebab and Prawns Biryani. Their food is really good and amazing.
We ended with two yummy Desserts. I loved the Hazlenut Cheesecake and the Rasmalai with Rabdi.

Finally Thane has a Classy Restaurant with some really cool ambience and a lovely Decor. I have become a huge fan of this place.
I visited with my family for Lunch and we had one of finest dining experiences till date. The Staff is superb with their Dish suggestions and service. We tried the following dishes:
We started of with their Classic Shakes which have two options viz KitKat and Red Velvet. Both really delicious Shakes topped with Whipped Cream. Surely recommended for Milkshake Lovers.
In appetizers we loved the Prawns Butter Garlic, Harissa Chicken Kebab, Fish Koliwada and Humma Humma Humma which was Black Hummus with Pita Pockets. These are some must try appetizers here.
For Main Course we tried Ultimate Butter Chicken and Kaali Daal with Rotis. Both the gravy dishes were very good especially the Butter Chicken. And we finished of with their delicious Prawns Biryani.
Finally we ended our Lunch with Hazelnut Cheesecake and Rasmalai Rabdi which are two very different Desserts that I tried here at Kaala Chashma.
Overall it was a really good experience and I surely recommend this place to Food Lovers.

So the Kaala chasmah is one of the most renowned restaurant. It's completely not overselling to say the place is definitely worth every penny. It's lavish , ambience is cozy, service is real quick and food is great .

Talking about the ambience the place is quite spacious, lighting is also perfect. It kind of reflects soothing vibes. Also Mr Laxman hosted us well. Talking about food, here's what we had ?

This is something interesting, fried balls which has a Chicken biryani in stuffing along with some melted cheese will definitely blow in your mind , biryani was really good . Perfectly crunchy from outside. A Must try .

Presentation of this dish was really good , taste was ok , chicken pieces fried and the. Coocket in some gravy , it was flavourlful no doubt , chicken pieces becomes too chewy.

We can call this the Mumbai's favorite food items on one plate that too a sort of miniaturized. It contains bhel, pav bhaji , vada pav and Pani Puri shots . Everything is amazing on this platter . (A must try )

Visited this place on a Monday evening with my blogger friend Food Journey Mumbai . As we walked in I was in awe with the Ambience. The staff was very courteous and helpful when it came to choosing our dishes. In particular Mr Laxman was of great help it was very kind of him to come and ask about the service and taste of each dish. We had a variety of dishes and appetizers from the Veg and Non veg varieties. The mocktails were refreshing and the food was satisfying. Overall, an amazing experience. Looking forward to visiting again. Its a must try for a family dinner outing or even catching up with friends.

Live music at this place is a big hit. Not only does this place caters well to the families but also to youngsters!
The menu options are interestingly many! The names of every item might interest you.
We, however, tried everything based on the recommendation of the staff.
Out of all a must have one is the waterchestnut and veggies dimsums and the cream of broccoli soup
The sizzler however could be improved.
What upset us was the dessert! The mini gulab jamuns served on the biscuit with cream and chocolate had no taste at all. Serious recommendation to either discontinue it or highly improve it.

The cocktails we had are
On the beach - blend of vodka, peach, orange and cranberry juice.
Total siyappa - A perfect blend of rum, lime juice, coriander leaves and kokum syrup. Sublime and tongue tickling taste.
Non alcoholic drinks
Santra mantra - Amalgamation of orange juice, ginger and kaffir lime. Presented with cinnamon stick and was truly refreshing. Recommended.
Closest to sangira - it was a mixture of pineapple juice, cranberry juice, sangria and soda. Highly recommended.
For appetizers we ordered four kinds of dishes
Netflix n chill - It's a type of a chicken popcorn served with spicy dip. Had enough of quantity and perfectly favourable as a beer bites. Highly recommended.
Jamaican jerk prawns - sticks inserted in seasoned prawns tasted divine. Served with dip. Recommended.
Hadippa harissa chicken - This dish was towards a spicier side but tasted yum. Combination of marinated chicken and seasoned bell peppers was up to the perfection.
Basa amritsari tikka - served total 6 pieces of tandoor basa fish tikkas. Highly recommended.
Sticky chicken dimsums - steamed dimsum having a mixture of shredded chicken and was bit sweeter in taste.
Main coarse
La Vie En rose - A pink sauce pasta served with 4 garlic breads was cheesy and gooey.
For desserts we had strawberry cheese cake which was newly added in the menu and
kaala chashma signature.
Strawberry cheesecake was topped with juicy strawberries and jelly. Recommended.
Kaala chashma signature was a choco dome on which hot chocolate sauce is poured. It contained chunks of dryfruits. Highly recommended.

It is located in Louiswadi, hardly 10mins from Thane Station.
This place is usually crowded in the evening, as many family and groups gather here to enjoy there food and have a good time.
The ambience is very beautiful with the decor and a lot of seating space.
The lights are dim but yet they make your dinning special.
There is a bar in a side of the place, where you can have your drinks and enjoy danc8ng to the music.
They also have karaoke in the weekends where many people enjoy singing and spending time with there loved ones.

This is the perfect restaurant to visit with friends, family or even colleagues. They serve some tastiest dishes... Do try their A-Maize-Ing Chaat Platter, it's a perfect dish for Mumbaikar. Their dessert are also really impressive. Staff here are very well trained and extremely helpful. Overall it was good experience

Visited Kala chashma for dinner the other day, it was An amazing experience. The staff here is very polite and always available to help you. Mr. Mahesh suggested us Bao which was one of the best starters we ever had. The ambience was very beautiful. It had varied seating arrangement from couches to comfy chairs. This place has very good lighting scheme unlike other resto bars which gets dimmer as the night pass by. The menu is very well crafted and beautifully arranged. The food is also delicious. We were assisted by Mr. Kundan who was also very polite and was good at his work. Coming to food we had :

Combination of orange and apple juice was quite refreshing.

Served 3 at a time the Bao very really good. Soft, cheesy and spicy.

The combination of dal tadka and jeera rice along with papad is always my favorite. The dal was spicy just as I like it and jeera rice were perfectly cooked.
Overall it was an delightful experience and I enjoyed it here. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good family dinner or spend quality time with friends.

Another from Mantraa. A great place to go with family to have a little contemporary cuisine. Indian, Chinese, continental etc. The menu has every favourite dish curated just for you. Chicken tacos were too good. All the small plates we tried were great. The sizzling brownie however was too sweet. Ambiance is excellent and rich. Washrooms have been given a high standard hygiene settings. The only put down thing was that even though the target crowd of this place is youngsters, a lot of families also come to dine in so the loud music can be a put down as there can be elderly there. Overall a must go place.

What to try - There's a huge variety of items available. Here are some of the items I have tried so far
Shaitani Chicken Bao - 4.5/5
3 pieces/baos per serving. Extremely soft and spongy white bao (dough) made of what I believe is maida, stuffed with red, small, dry pieces of chicken and some mustard-looking sauce with the texture of mayonnaise, is a good mix of textures and an interesting appetizer.
Tip - There's just 3 baos in one serving, hence 4/5 instead of 5/5. It's not ideal for family/groups of 4 as you'd have to buy 2 or more.
Also, since the bao is very soft from the outside, kids and older people MAY find it a little difficult to eat as they might drop some of the filling.
Hadippa Harissa Chicken - 5/5
Nice, juicy, medium spicy chicken. The portion is decent and the presentation looks appealing
Closest to Sangria - 4.5/5
Really does taste a lot like Sangria. Would love to see it topped with some thin small apple cubes or something for a little presentation/crunch here and there.

Thick, medium spicy, green gravy suitable for all types of rotis/naan/kulcha. Good option if you want to try something that is not a red gravy.

Thane has one my favourite places, which happens to be Kaala chashma. This place is super cool. Loved their ambience. Staff is super helping. It’s really good to visit this place. For food, they have good variety of fusion food. Their pizzas and appetisers are awesome. Ask their staff to serve the best from their menu. Food and perfect ambience makes this place worth visiting again and again.
Kaala chahsma, the iconic place of thane. Have heard alot about this place. I had to visit it. Located in Panch pakhadi, kaala chashma is a rocking place. Fusion food over here is superb. You should try out what i had over here-

Charming golden chandelier, amazing lights, luxurious seating arrangement etc etc gives wonderful looks to the restaurant!

Nachos & paneer starter was too yummy just like mouthwatering...in main course we ordered veg rogan Josh kofta... belive me it was jut amazing... authentic nonveg kashmiri dish made in vegetarian version!!...do try with butter garlic or butter naan
No doubt my dinner is incomplete without yummy dessert...we had hazelnut cheese cake & gooey chocolate with vanilla ice cream...both were perfect...but hazelnut cheese cake was just excellent!...no word to describe...just try

Cheese chilly toast was not good as per my expectations but even though it was good. Dhamal fries masala was really good. Spicy and mouth watering. I had cme last night with group of people it was a karaoke night and then I ordered fr sme starters and then my order was getting late so I asked the waiter wht happend why there is so much delay in the order he told me tht sme banquet function is there bcz of whch it's getting late I asked fr the manager then Mr.Krishna came in apologize for the delay and made sure tht it won't get delay and assist me I loved the food the ambiences and everything so thank u so much Krishna for the service appreciate it and looking forwarded to come soon thank u
Loved the food! Very tasty and portion size was quite good. The butter garlic prawns and the “butter chicken naan bombs” were THE BEST! The music & vibes were really great!

We visited the place on a Tuesday night, having reserved a table via Zomato. They have valets available, a time saver since it's along a service road. We ordered Chicken Popcorn, Butter Chicken Kulcha Bombs, Shaitani Chicken Bao, Nachos and a Himalayan Tea. The Popcorn and the butter chicken bombs were wonderful! The place has a great ambience and a fairly long menu to keep you coming back for more!
A fun and happy place for hangout and decent food. The restaurant has lively environment along with bar food, drinks and also main course. It can be crowded so recommend going in by doing reservation.

This place is located near Viviana mall and it is an outlet of Mantra hotels chain.
Let’s start with Food. They serve both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes along with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. We tried their veg food this time in which we ordered Manchau soup which was hot and delicious, starter we ordered Gunmaster gogo it’s basically paneer tandoori and I would recommend it as the panner was soft, fresh and well marinated, Main course it was tandoori roti, dal tadka, jeera rice and sabzi Myra which was also very good. And mocktails we tried pani da rang which was close to virgin mojito.
Service: The staff is very hostile. They greeted us and escorted to our table as we have done a pre booking as it was weekend. If you are planning on going for weekend I would recommend do a prior booking. Initially the starters, soup and mocktail were served very fast however for main course we had to remind them twice. So, for that reason I would give them a 4/5 rating for service.
Ambience: I loved their ambience. It was refreshing. They have live music and its pretty spacious. Good place for dining with friends, family and even office hangouts.
It a budget friendly hotel and prices are not rocket high. For 2 people if you are having a couple meal like we did than your bill should go max uptill Rs.2500

We had a nice dinner at Kaala Chashma, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes along with some mocktails. The Sangri mocktail was hit and miss, but surprisingly, the Mango Imli one was really good - tangy and reminded me of Kacchi Kairi candy. We tried several chicken starters, all good except for the Kulcha bomb. For the main course, Chicken Handi was tasty, and one full portion was enough for five of us. The Chicken Dum Biryani was okay, nothing extraordinary.
I had a good laugh checking out their menu; the names are really punny and clever!
The staff was polite and helpful, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family dinner. No issues with parking space either. Overall, I think the menu offers good value for the price.

Although, the loud music gets irritating after a few minutes as you cannot communicate easily. The food is good in taste but quantity is comparatively less. No happy hours on drinks 😑. The prices are reasonable if compared to any other resto-bar places in Thane. Overall a great place to hangout with friends or celebrate some moments with your family. You can get some exciting offers if paid the bill through Dine-out app.

It’s multi cuisine place. Order Chinese food from this which had burnt garlic fried rice and paneer dragon . Food was slightly on spicy side but delicious . Maybe telling them to make it less spicy would had been better. Portion size was perfect for one person . Packaging was good . Never go for mutton options they are not cooked properly mutton feels dry chewy no flavour, butter chicken is great and starters are good chicken tikka is great 😃
It is a Bollywood themed party restaurant in Thane. It gives you the feeling of a bar with delicious dining. Visit at night time for a better ambience feel. If we talk about food it provides a good range of starters from chicken tikka to shaitani chicken baos ( only if your appetite is good) because it's heavy on the stomach. Burnt garlic noodles are awesome. If you have taste buds for fish sauce then you must try chicken dimsums with closet sangaria or guava mocktail which is the best mocktail. One can bring their own vehicle or can , since public transport like autos are not easily available.

Nice place to chill out with Friends and Family. It will be good if you reserve the table on weekends cause we had to wait for 30-45 mins once when we visited on Sunday. Food is quite good. Music is okay however sometimes they make it loud. Drinks are bit costly but still okay as compared to over hyped places. Drinks comes in peg system however if you insist you can can whole bottle at discount rate, which is actually good idea if you have drinking members in your gang.
Mostly you will see families hitting this place, Good thing is no hooligans comes to this place :)
