I have been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while due to its great reviews on Zomato. I ordered a meal box to try out the menu which has so many good sounding options.

Goa Green Chicken Meal: It had Goa Green Chicken Curry, Yellow Dal, Jeera Rice & Tandoori Roti. Accompanied by Papad Chura, Laccha Onions & Lime Wedges. The highlight of the dish was Goa green chicken curry. It was spicy (my lips were burning) and tasty. Great flavors in the dish. Daal and jeera rice was good but nothing out of ordinary. Laccha onions were onions. 4.5/5 on taste for the curry.

Although we never got to try out Ishaara as a dine in experience, we did order in online. The process was simple, we called the number mentioned and the gentleman who helped us with the order and logistics was polite and sorted out the details. Payment was done via a link shared and we were asked by what time shd the food be delivered. To our pleasant surprise the food arrived bang on time! The food was packed so well, and safely. Each box came with a hand wipe sachet and care instructions. That put us at ease immediately. The chicken black pepper tikka was juicy and nicely spiced with pepper! We wanted to try their butter chicken and rotis, and they reminded us of Delhi :) beautifully done! And we miss eating the Thalapakatti biryani from Chennai and were happy to see it on the menu and had ordered the mutton variety. Served with a side of salan, the biryani was spicy and the meat was tender. Try it with and without the salan to decide what works for you. My wife loves fish and thus had ordered a raw mango prawn curry meal for one. This curry was superb! A coconut milk base gave it a nice southern feel and the amritsari fish tikka that comes with the meal was sheer pleasure to eat. These dishes come with sides like papad choora, raita etc. and since it was my birthday and we had mentioned it to them, it was so nice of them to send us a complimentary dessert too! Made our day! Can’t wait to head there for a meal when it opens up! Thanks team ishaara!

The chole bhatura comes with 5 puri-sized bhaturas and black channa was used instead of the yellow one. But it tasted fine and I recommend it. I also tried one of their 'thalis'- the raw mango prawn curry & Amritsari fish tikka meal. This was a hit with everyone at home because even though there were just two pieces of prawns and 1 piece of fish, it came with rice, black dal, salad, and a dessert. The fish and prawns were done very nicely. The prawns had perfect flavouring and the fish slice, which I think was surmai (seer fish) was a tawa preparation with tandoori masala, and it was delicious.

Was pleasantly surprised to see a Naan Roll.
Ordered a Paneer Naan Roll and a Chicken Biryani with white spices.
The Naan Roll was soft and the paneer was bursting with flavor and juices.
The biryani was one of a kind, almost a hybrid between a pulao and a biryani. It came with a lot of additions, raita, gravy, cucumber etc.
Can't wait to reorder. Thanks, Ishaara, for a superb experience.

Was looking at vegetarian delivery options and came across Ishaara - decided to order some comfort fare and one of their signature grills... here’s my take on the order;

1. Nehru place paneer Makhani - absolutely brilliant, 5/5!

2. Beetroot Seekh - very flavourful and the best part wasn’t dry at all like most veg seekh kebabs, 4.5/5!

3. Dal Haveli - Winner winner, dal dinner! No words can justify this one, 6/5!

4. Staples - Standard fare but the packaging was brilliant!

Definitely ordering more of this one!

One of the highlights of these otherwise depressing lockdown days has been the meal from Ishaara.
There was a simple grace in the dishes, not to heavy yet full of flavour. Packed with care each Roti came in a separate bag. Each dish had a sticker. The butter chicken and Dal Haveli were to die for.
There is an honesty about their food.
Thank you Ishaara, till we order again 😊

Ishaara borrows it's concept from the famous Mirchi and Mime in Powai. Had visited the place few months back. The communication to all the servers need to be done in sign language or as they say in Hindi - Ishaara. It is indeed a great gesture to employ them and give them a livelihood. The place has beautiful interiors located inside Palladium Lower Parel next to Bayroute.

They have an interesting menu where every section has a sign language and every item within the section also has a sign language. In case you find any difficulty, you may want to point it out. In case you still find it difficult to communicate, there are managers who can help you out for placing order or making any changes.

Talking about what all I tried there -

We called for some starters - Punjabi Samosa Chole, Papdi Chaat, Sev Puri and Kopra Pattice. I loved all of them especially Kopra Pattice, Papdi Chaat and Samosa. Just one thing that you may have to call multiple of these since the quantity is less especially when you share in large groups. That was the case for us. For our mains, we called for Nehru Place Paneer Makhani with some Naan and Roti. Yummy, fresh and soft cottage cheese.

All in all, had a good time at Ishaara. A good option for family get together and definitely worth a visit when in town.

Visited the restaurant in a group of 20 for my dad’s birthday. I requested them to help me create a personalised menu, and this was done beautifully. The manager Sofia, is extremely friendly and warm, left no stone unturned to ensure we had a great time. The restaurant is very heart-warming in terms of its concept, we were served by Mukesh and captain Yash. Both of them, were friendly and extremely efficient. The restaurant has a great ambience and the quality of food is amazing. Recommend the Dal Makhani, the tres leches, and EVERY SINGLE STARTER. What also really came as a surprise was the fact that we over ordered and wanted to cancel 4 portions almost 20 minutes after ordering, and they agreed to do so in spite of the dishes being almost ready.

MUST VISIT :)

Ishaara is my new go-to place at Palladium. The room is stylish and contemporary, and the staff are fabulous. Communication is by simple sign language as most staff are hearing impaired. Floor managers do a great job bridging any gaps and most diners will learn how far a smile, some pointing and a little patience will go.

You’d think the food might play second fiddle to the concept but it doesn’t. From cute pani puri to keeema samosas and a delicious chicken coconut curry, everything was spot on. The jewelled vegetable biryani with pasty lid was the star of the show.

See you soon Ishaara! 5 stars!

Food - 9/10Ambiance - 9/10

What stands out - The service and the staff
Came here with a friend on a weekday after work. The place is located inside the Palledium mall and its very well made. Its a lot larger than what appears from outside. The place is very well lit with different types of seating available. The highlight of course is the staff.
The concept of the restaurant is that they have kept their wait staff who suffer from hearing and or speech impairment. they are some of the most courteous staff I have encountered. They communicate using hand gestures and each menu item can be ordered using a specific gesture. This is a great way to bring to light the challenges people with impaired hearing and speech face. The food here is exceptional as well. Almost everything was top notch.

We called for the following dishes.
1. Paneer panch phoran - 7/10
2. Mushroom Galouti - 10/10
3. Nehru palace paneer makhani - 10/10
4. Dal Tadka - 9/10
5. Rogani naan (sweet) - 8/10
6. Peshawari naan - 9/10

All in all a great place for a wonderful experience. Definitely worth trying.

Went to Ishaara on a Friday night to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday and to say that the staff was courteous would be an understatement. They made the experience so homely which made our experience even better. When they got to know we were Gujaratis, the waiter spoke to us in Gujarati and helped us out with the selection of food. Though the waiters serving the food had a hearing disability, we never found it difficult to communicate with them, and seeing their happy smiling faces just added an extra touch of flavour to the experience. We called for a variety of dishes - hara Bhara kebab, sweet potato brûlée, sev puri, plantain tikki, paneer dori kebab, gunpowder potatoes, mushroom biryani, khichdi platter and paneer makhani. ALL of the things ordered were finished within minutes of it arriving at the table because it was that delicious.
Definitely going to return to this restaurant just because of the friendliest staff and the delicious food!

Ishaara has a good concept of employing those who are verbally and hearing impaired. All communication with servers is through hand gestures which does justice to the name. The ambience is mordern and laid back.

I called for the veg tasting menu which comprised of:

Salad: Orange and goat cheese
Generous portion and tasty salad with fresh ingredients.

Appetizers
Paneer panch phoran
One piece of paneer tikka which was well prepared but not novel

Sago tikki
Coated with sabudana, this tikki was simple and nothing to rave about.

Tandoori Broccoli
It was lip smacking and relished all the three pieces. The Broccoli was grilled well and served with an amazing white sauce. Full marks!

Mains
Lotus root kofta
Unconventional and tasty. Tried something new thanks to the tasting menu otherwise I wouldn't be bold enough to order this.

Dal haveli
Quintessential black dal. Well made.

Kashmiri Tehri biryani
Very tasty and served authentically with the cooked roti on top. The only drawback was that it was too oily and left marks on the plate too. Served with raita.

Gajar halwa crumble
A treat to the eyes and palate. It provides the perfect end to a hearty meal.

Tip: Don't be intimidated by the number of dishes in the tasting menu. The portions are small so even after having all of them you'll be happy full.

Food: 4.5/5
Service: 5/5
Ambience: 4.5/5
Value for money: 4.5/5

Final verdict: Samajhdar aur bhuke ke liye ishaara hi kaafi hai.

ISHAARA - Modern Indian with a bit of twist. Open Kitchen/Fully Stocked Bar and Live Chaat Counter. Specious. Situated at Level 3 (High Street Phoenix, Palladium) this was by 3rd visit and yes - consistency is what matters and they delivered. Good Cocktails/Lovely menu by Chef Prashant adds value to this spacious Restaurant. Natural Light during the day is amazing.

Coming to what we had: Skipped the cocktails and stuck to wine. Paired it with Appetizers / Bar Nibbles.

Bhutte Ki Khees - Comfort food (Ghar ka Khana) Rusty texture. Served cake shape. Balance of Sweet corn and HING was good. Hing played a vital role. Flavours correct. Garnish of pomegranate.

Orange and Goat Cheese Salad - Fresh/Light and healthy. Micro Greens and Feta as a garnish. Layers of Orange. Yellow chilli gives a bit of a hit. Kiwi/Plum and other exotic fruits went well with the fresh salad leaves. Feta gives that sharp/salty touch.

Chicken Nukti Boti Raj Kachori - something different. Spicy/tangy/sweet with punch. House made Kachori crushed with Chicken Boti pieces sprinkled with Sev/cilantro/pomegranate/tamarind sauce/green chutney. Nicely done.

Beetroot and Papad Seekh - Their Signature and among the highest selling dish. Had a bit of spicy touch (masala) a blend of beetroot/Potato skewered served with Papad chura. Had a Rusty texture. Do try this.

LAMB SEEKH - star dish of the day. Juicy/perfect texture/balance. Meat minced to perfection. They make it from the first lamb leg. Spices not overpowering. Loved it.

Amritsari Fish Tikka - Indian Basa (where did this come from? - Indian basa) all said and done at least something Fresh. Marinated well with ajwain a touch of mustard oil and Indian spices. Tandoored well.

Mains - Undhiyu with Lentil Khichdi - i didn't try but my partner said it was good. Going by her word. The texture looked good. Nice portion. A mix of Aubergine/Papdi/plantain/sweet potato/yam served with Indian Khichdi.

Butter Chicken was my choice - wow. All about balance. Tomato/cream/spices/Tandoored pieces of Chicken cubes. Rich gravy. Had this with Peshawari Naan (Kashmiri speciality) stuffed with broken nuts/raisins/jaggery. A bit on the sweeter side.

Dal Haveli - there is a history behind this dish. One needs to ask the chef or the manager about it. Just yum. Loaded with Ghee. Eve then it had the balance of lentils black Urad. MUST TRY. Goes well with any breads pr rice.

Desserts - Gulab Jamun and vanilla Pannacotta (signature dessert) Old school this. Homemade ice cream. Combination was good.

Overall - do visit this pace, different experience. Unique concept. Warm and friendly staff made my day. Cheers.

Ishara means sign or indication. The restaurant is very aptly named as majority of their staff are hearing and speech impaired. The concept isn't unique in itself as there are restaurants in Bombay following similar concept but it's definitely rarely found. Located right next to Bayroute in palladium Ishara is a spacious restaurant with a laid back vibe. We were here for celebratory snacking one fine evening and we tried the following :

Calicut Crab Bisque : My absolute favourite of the evening. This is warm comfort food in a bowl! The bisque was perfectly balanced flavour wise with all the hearty goodness of a delicious crab! The buttery soup sticks paired brilliantly with the dish. We highly recommend this one! :)

Amritsari Fish Tikka : Marinated Basa fish cooked tandoori style will keep you coming back for more! The fish was very fresh and well cooked. Another recommendation from their menu! :)

Paneer Panch Phoran : This one was unfortunately a miss for us. The paneer wasn't as soft as we'd expect, the pieces were tad too dry and the marinade wasn't sufficient for the big paneer pieces. Also, the mustard overpowered the dish!

Highly disappointed with the paneer we decided to skip to the dessert and ordered the following :

Coconut and Mango Tres Leches : A modern take on the good old tres leche, this dish is something you must try albeit I still prefer the traditional tres leches over this one. The mango was a lil too artificial in this dish but the dish is an absolute stunner !

Over-all a pretty decent experience, the restaurant does lack privacy as there are hardly any partitions between tables. We appreciate being asked for feedback regarding the dishes but it can get a bit annoying if we're being asked every 10 minutes for a feedback. Also, if you're an absolute introvert like I am communicating with the staff in sign language can get difficult as it requires you to indulge in hand gestures to convey what you need to order. Further I am not sure how one is supposed to communicate any specific alterations one would want in the dish ( I assume you're supposed to then call for their manager but again that's too much effort). Nonetheless Ishara is a place you must try out for their reasonably priced dishes and laid back ambience. :)

Still far away from Mirchi & Mime status but not bad at all..! We visited Ishaara for dad's birthday dinner and after getting to know the concept you automatically compare it to Mirchi & Mime Powai which has set a benchmark.
Food is very good with adequate quantity justifying the price. But we felt service is still not upto the mark wherein small small details need to be worked upon. Have read and also observed that hostess taking reservations is bit rude. Arrogance needs to be kept at home as it's not a lounge but a proper family fine dine restaurant.
Ordered the set menu which is more than enough for 1 person, Dori kebab which is must have, fish Tikka , butter chicken and peshawri naan (very very good)
Gajar ka halwa which is served inside a nice crispy baked tart is brilliant to end your meal. I am sure other desserts must be awesome too. Would love to come back again with friends and family.!!

Ishaara is a modern Indian restaurant located at Palladium Mall, Mumbai.

Beautifully done up and spacious, Ishaara has a bright chic decor.

It's boosts of an open kitchen and dedicated counters for chaat n desserts.

It's food menu focuses on regional indian cuisine that has been given a modern touch by acclaimed chef Prashant Issar.

Chef Prashant has over two decades of culinary experience and has worked at a Michelin star restaurant in London.

Ishaara also has a expansive bar that offers signature cocktails curated by keeping in mind the humid weather of Mumbai !

So here is what I had :-

COCKTAILS :-

WATERMELON AND APEROL MARTINI -
Vodka based cocktail made with aperol, vermouth and watermelon juice.

POMEGRANATE AND GRAPEFRUIT MARTINI -
Gin based cocktail made with mint, grapefruit, ginger, jaggery and pomegranate juice.

Both the cocktail were refreshing, the stand out factor was the fresh fruit juices used in the making, i was specially inclined towards the one with watermelon juice.

CHAAT :-

LOBSTER PATTI SAMOSA -
Patti somasa stuffed with stir fried lobster meat, sprinkled with special spice mix and served with sweet and coriander chutney.
This was surely something different, the lobster meat was tender and juicy, samosa wrapper was crunchy, Fabulous !

TANDOOR :-

AMRITSARI FISH TIKKA -
Indian basa marinated with tandoori marinade then grilled to perfection with mustard oil.
Served with sweet and green chutney.
Absolutely delicious, it was all about the freshness, mustard oil added flavour and aroma !

DORI KEBAB -
Tender mutton leg minced to a fine paste, seasoned with whole spices then grilled on a wooden skewer.
This was basically kakori kebab which is known for its melt in your mouth texture, i loved the melody of the mild spices used in its making, wow !!

WATERCHESNUT AND CORN TIKKA -
Crushed sweet corn tikki made with waterchesnut and mild spices then pan fried to perfection and served on crispy puris.
The corn tikki was brilliant, it had a beautiful flavour coming from the yellow chillies, waterchesnut added a beautiful crunch !

MAINS :-

BUTTER CHICKEN -
Classic butter chicken made with simmering tandoori chicken in a buttery creamy tomato gravy. Thankfully it wasn't sweet, i loved the hint of fenugreek flavour coming through !
One can savour it with the peshawari naan as it's loaded with butter and dry fruits.

RAW MANGO PRAWNS CURRY -
Manglorean prawns curry made with coconut milk and raw mangoes, the curry had a smooth rich texture, loved the tang with a hint of sweetness ! Goes well with plain rice.

HAVELI DAL -
Black urad dal cooked with tomatoes, onion, garlic, chillies and spices cooked overnight then tempered with desi ghee and kashmiri chilli powder.
It's simply one of the best dal makhani you can try in Mumbai, it's recipe is from the famous haveli dhaba of Ludhiana.

SUFIYANI CHICKEN BIRYANI -
Long grain basmati rice, chicken and whole spices cooked in almond milk and dry fruits then given dum with coal and served with raita, salan and onion tomato salad.
The biryani was really different, it had a mild subtle flavour of white pepper and whole spices. Brilliant !

DESSERTS :-

FLOURLESS BROWNIE -
Flourless brownie made with seventy percent dark chocolate and eggs, finished with a hint of salt. Extremely delicious, I'm glad they added egg, the brownie turned out very soft n gooey !

VANILLA POD ICE CREAM -
House made plain vanilla ice cream with real vanilla pods. Pretty old school but that's how an ice cream should be, Lovely !

Overall, I had a scrumptious meal !
This is the best Indian food i have had in recent times ! Each and every dish was flavourful and made with utmost care, the food had a profound flavour profile and nothing was over the top.
Even the service by it's speech and hearing impaired staff was extremely warm and loving !

Highly Recommended.

One of my best dining experiences in recent times. Starting off with a relaxed atmosphere and well spaced seating to the nicest staff and superb food. Five star all the way!!!!!

Special shout out to Amit n Ketan for being some of the nicest servers I’ve encountered and Ashar for being a super friendly manager. While I’d go back to just meet them the food itself is also superb.

We had mushroom galouti, gun powder potatoes, water chestnuts n corn tikki, pav bhaji, khichdi and kulfi. Drank a watermelon martini and melon cocktail. Every dish was scrumptious and well presented.

Definitely going back with my mom and friends. Thanks Ishara for giving us an opportunity to encounter some of the nicest people in the restaurant industry.

Since we were many, we managed to try quite a lot of the dishes on the menu. Almost everything except for the papdi chaat was perfect. Special mention for their mushroom galauti kebab and kathal roganjosh. Both were unique in flavor and preparation.

The name itself describes the concept of this restaurant. Similar to Mirch n mime. It is a tribute to all the speech impaired. The concept here is to communicate to staff via sigh language. The experience is the USP here, along with the food which is Morden Indian cuisine made uniquely.
Simple dishes like the gajar halwa was served with a lot of heart. Topped and garnished with almond and dry fruits.
Meal for 2 is quite reasonable here.

When i entered this restaurant @ishaaraindia i was welcomed with smiling faces and a spacious well decored restaurant. Its a theme restaurant where the waiters and much staff have hearing and speech impairment .i was so impressed with their efficiency it left me smiling all the time.

Regarding food they had these pickles and chur papad with fried karela which was unique and really nice. for drinks we tried the MANDARIN AND CHILLI drink it was a good blend and tasted well.
For starters beetroot and papad sheekh which was well cooked and tasted good with a nice unique taste .
Waterchestnut and sweetcorn tikki had a nice blend and was served with a crisp puri along.
Dungar chicken tikka was soft and well cooked and was well marinated.
Soft shell crab had a nice butter garlic sauce but we felt it was over buttery and would have been better if a bread was served along with it . Fritter was too much and crab was very lill.not very recommended.
King fish curry had a nice flavour of mango in it and was well cooked .
Paneer makhani was really soft and nice and the gravy tasted very well.
Rogani roti complimented the main course nicely .roti with red chilli butter sauce.
Gucchi biryani is much recommended it was flavourful and very aromatic.🥰we ended with coconut and mango tresleches as dessert and i strongly recommend to try it .

This is a fairly new diner at the mall it is in and decided to have lunch here. Got a table easily inspite of not having a reservation , which is what I like in these days of reservation slots and phone calls at most of the new age diners in the city. Of course the fact that we got a table does not indicate that this diner is in no way ordinary.

The name of this diner is an indicator of what is in store when one decides to dine here. I did not guess it to be true and on being seated I got to know what the name 'Ishaara' meant in the context of this place. Continue reading and you would get to know what I mean , and this is one way to make you read my review ... just joking, but hold that thought.

We decided to order some drinks and starters. The service was good and the food was ok. The taste of the food was average and presentation pretty standard, cookie cutter stuff. Did not have a WOW factor.

The ambience is good and appealing so no complaints there.

Now here is what is implied by the name of this diner. This customers in this diner are served by staff that are physically challenged on hearing. The process to order is explained to the customers and found this overall experience to be just superb. It just teaches us on how much we misuse our vocal cords when we blabber blabber all the time. The wait staff I found to be very responsive and attentive. Great service hats off to the team. Great initiative and this is CSR in action.

If not for anything should visit to experience the service.

Love the concept of having deaf and dumb waiters and attendees. They spread such a positive vibe during your time here and take care of your meal time with great efforts and efficiency. Staff is very courteous and helpful even with selection of food.
Food is brilliant as well. Loved the Beetroot seekh kabab as well as the biryani.
Must try place for great food and a great environment

Superhuman. That's the word I would use to summarise my experience this Evening. This new restaurant (Ishaara) has an amazing concept, which really got
my attention. Its staff(waiters) can't speak and hear, each item on the menu card has a specific way of communicating to the waiters. The staff is so warm and friendly and the whole
sign language concept is really cool and engaging it was a new and amazing experience for me.And the Ambience is super cool.
We started off with chaats and mocktails:-
I tried lychee and Lemongrass cooler mocktail with an unique and spice taste.
Chaats like kheema samosas,Dilli tikki chaat, and paani puri all the three dishes were delicious.
Starters we ordered was :
Beetroot and Papad Seekh. The pungent nature of beetroot balanced in a unique way topped with spiced Papad crisps.
Never thought beetroot could be so good must try dish.
Amritsari Tikka fish was very freshly cooked and marinated.
Mutton dori was the bestest dish of all the dishes in ishaara no comparison for this.
Best in chicken was Dungar chicken tikka smoked flavoured it was mesmerizing.
We were so full with the amazing starters after that we ordered Butter chicken and sufiyaan chicken biryani one suggestion for this all the biryani lovers you need to try this sufiyaan chicken biryani at ishaara was heaven to me.
very well presented.
And the best part of the evening arrived and that was dessert time .
Flourless Brownie ❣️
Gulabjamun and vanilla panacotta😍
Coconut and mango tres leches🤩
All the three desserts were killer 🤤
Especially Flourless Brownie must try at ishaara .
We left the restaurant with smiles on our faces and completely filled stomachs. A special mention for all the staffwho took great care of us through the entire evening.Overall it was an amazing experience.

I visited Ishaara with a few friends for a Sunday dinner. The ambience was just rightly comfortable and the staff’s culture for sign language communication tells you a lot about the place itself, it’s beautiful. We started with a few cocktails such a the smoked sangria, watermelon & aperol martini, JD specials are a must try like Jack’s Jewels and Single Prism.
Moving on to a finely curated appetiser menu, it’s a good mix of north India’s favoured dishes. My personal favourites are typically so mouth watering, like Amritsari Fish Tikka, Mutton Dori, Dungar Chicken Tikka and Beetroot Papad Kebab. We also tried Dilli Aloo Tikki, Pani Puri and Kheema Samosa, which were all very satisfying and filling.
Incase you have any aperture left after the wholesome appetisers, do go for the Sufiyan Chicken Biryani/Butter Chicken. Both are finely flavoured and well minced to make your soul happy from within.
DO NOT MISS their desserts! I would always go back just for them. My heart goes out to the top ranked Flourless Chocolate Brownie. The texture and richness of chocolate will leave you devouring for more, followed by the Gulab Jamun & Vanilla Pannacotta which is a pretty good and balanced sweet fusion. To experiment, the must try dessert recognition goes to the delicious Coconut and Mango Tres Leches, it will leave you with multiple sweet flavours, the ones that will make you Mark them in your memory.
Overall, an outstanding experience especially if you’re looking for amazingly fancy yet fine North Indian cuisine.

In times where food has become an art in itself and where restaurants spring up in your vicinity faster than the speed of light, only few of them manage to leave a mark ensuring its customers always come back for more.
Ishaara does all of that and how!
Each time I have been here, the experience just got better and might I say tastier.. with every new addition in their menu worth a mention!

We went on a Sunday night ready to face the hustle bustle of the weekend crowd at a customer favorite place like Ishaara - but were greeted with warm smiles and amazing politeness of the staff instead!
One of the highlights of this place is just how much happiness it seems to radiate - from the servers to the chefs to even the owners, everyone is always courteous and giving their most welcoming smiles! It already sets the mood for a memorable time for any customer who enters.

The food menu here is traditional with a twist of something refreshing and new - akin to the restaurant’s basic concept.
From its Delhi Chaat starters to its quirky cocktails (The new whisky cocktails are a must try!) m, Sufiyaan Chicken Biryani to its Flourless Chocolate Brownie - each dish has been crafted to perfection and is a must try.

Will be definitely coming back for more! 5 star experience!

Paid a visit to this restaurant in Palladium and to my surprise, they have employed speech & hearing impaired staff who always serve food with a huge smile on their face.

Full marks to the food served here, loved the dishes during my visit.

Loved the Beetroot & Papad Seekh here, along with Black Pepper Chicken Tikka.

Mains if you love meat do try their mutton in main course and in desserts don’t skip the flourless brownie.

All in all an amazing dining experience along with the well designed interiors which compliment the food well.

Ishaara as the name suggest is a restaurant where gestures play an important role. The dishes in the menu have standalone symbols which will help u order your dishes. The staff is really helpful in explaining you how to order and they also welcome in their Ishaara style. The ambience is really great with alot seating space. Service and food is top notch. Dishes i would personally recommended are Mutton Dori, Dilli Aloo Tikki, Ametisari Fish Tikka, Beetroot and papad seekh, Sufiyaan Chicken Biryani. Keep some space for desserts too. They are absolutely the best ones i tried. You just can't have one. Do try their Flourless brownie, Gulab Jamun Panacotta and Gajar Halwa Crumble. Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Value for money - 4.5/5..

Ishaara - A one of its kind unique restaurant where you communicate through Ishaara's & enjoy speedy service with some amazing Indian food!

I'm writing this review after visiting them 5 times on different days & different timings. Yes, 5 times!

After reading 5 times, you must be thinking what was there that I visited them 5 times.

- Their menu has it all (Chaat, Tandoor, Light Meals, Set Meals, Biryanis, Curries, A huge range of Wines & potent cocktails)

- This is the only restaurant in Mumbai, when the restaurant is packed, you actually enjoy your experience. The servers here are specially abled and cannot talk. They communicate in sign language which is very customer friendly and easy for one to understand once you take a glance through the menu

- My favourites (After 5 visits, these are the dishes I would like you to try
+Dahi Puri
+ Paani Puri
+ Black Pepper Chicken Tikka
+ Beetroot & Papad Seekh
+ Mutton Dori Kebab
+ Sufiyaani Chicken Biryani
+ Mango & Pineapple Curry
+ Dal Haveli
+ Kulfi
+ Gajar Halwa Crumble
+ Flourless Brownie)

Here are a few recommendations, go try it out, I'm sure you will not be disappointed and would thank me. I'm definitely visiting them soon!

Happy Eating :)

Went here on a Sunday evening located in one prime locations of Mumbai - Palladium Mall. This place has never let us down and has kept on their service, food quality, taste, food presentation at their best level. It can never disappoint you. The service staff here are specially abled but they are so courteous and happy to serve you. They welcome you with their Ishaaraas how to do it. The ambience is totally fancy with a lot of plants making it even more attractive. This place has its separate feeling for a lunch and dinner ambience. There were quite a few dishes we tried out of which particularly many of them stood out.
To name a few:
Dilli Aloo Tikki will take you back to the Delhi street food and have you lick ur fingers.
Mutton Dori is hands down the best dish we had.
Amritsari Fish Tikka had the perfect flavours and so tender to eat proving its freshness.
Sufiyaan Chicken Biryani has mild flavours but has a great taste which is served with Salan and Raita.
Keema Samosa is worth a try the crispy layer outside and the soft keema filling is a great combination.
For Desserts:
Gulab jamun panacotta and Flourless Brownie are totally top dishes/desserts. Would highly recommended trying both.

A very unique and amazing concept. The staff is very courteous and welcoming. The food here is as amazing as its ambience. The chaats here are a must try like dahi balla, delhi aloo chat, papdi chaat, samosa chole are awesome and are recommended to try it atleast once. My personal favourite is delhi aloo chat. Other starters like broccoli served with hung curd which took overnight preperation was extremely scrumptious. For main course veg jaipuri is a perfect blend of spices along with galric naan. There are many mocktail options like lichi lemongrass, Indian gooseberry cooler, sol kadi, strawberry and peace iced tea, etc. My personl favourite indian gooseberry cooler is really recommended to try. Desserts like gajar halwa crumble, gulab jamun panna cotta are very unique and the best of all flourless chocolate brownie here are out of the world. It was indeed an amazing experience. It is a must must try try place.

How cool is a place that is run by service staff with hearing and speech impairment?
A treat for your eyes and taste buds as well.
From the very beginning they way the staff introduces themselves and also helps you with some sign language for you to communicate and order food.
The dishes we went for were

Starters for Veg.

Punjabi Samosa
The basic Samosa in a chaat form
Delhi Aloo Tikki Chaat
One of the best chaats to try with a hint of Delhi Flavors.
Dahi Bhalla Chaat
For the love of Punjabi Bhalla
Tandoori Mushrooms
Baked Broccoli.
Tandoori Mushrooms and Broccoli had more over a similar taste with their own goodness.

For NonVeg
Keema Samosa
This is one of the dishes to try here as it has a very unique taste.
Makhan Chicken
Full of butter as the name suggest and chicken to die for.
Mutton Dori Kebab.
This dish was a highlight and the winner hands down, so soft it doesn't stay in your your mouth. So soft and delicious.
Definitely coming back for more.
Amritsari Fish Tikka
Yum Yum in tummy. Fish so fresh and soft.

For Main course we opted for
Veg Jaipuri with Garlic Naan.
With fresh earthen flavours in the curry.

Sufiyaan Biryani.
The plating and the serving was bang on. With the side of saalan and raita to go for.

Mocktail and Cocktail
Strawberry and peach ice tea.
Indian Goose Berry
Soulkadii - Highlight of the day.
Daiquiri - rum based.

Last but the besttt.

Dessert.

We tried three of them.

Gulab Jamun Panacotta
With the flavour of Indian desi sweets

Flourless Chocolate Brownie.
A win win in all the situations, so soft and gooey. It's a dessert to kill for.

Gajar Halwa Crumble.
With a side of nuts and cookie Crumble, it had such a good crunch for the perfect ending.

All in all the restaurant is a must try for the experience itself, the food is the later part. Which is worth every penny.

Went to Ishaara the first time and I was completely smitten with everything. The ambience, the food and most of all how courteous the staff is over there. We pretty much learned all their sign languages😅.

Let’s come to food now😍

We started off with their very best dilli aloo tikki which I felt I must have eaten at least twice. Alongside, we tried the tandoori mushroom and Dahi Bhalla which were truly delicious options as vegetarian side dishes.
Had to save space in my stomach though because their supreme Dori Mutton Kebab and Amritsari Fish Tikka were to die for😍😍.
Dori Mutton Kebab and Amritsari Fish Tikka were without a doubt my favourite in Ishaara given they had a perfect burst of flavours and the chicken and fish was beautifully cooked.
Finally we also got to the main course chicken biryani and their biryani is not the regular one you always have. There was a great combination of flavours that makes you crave for more.

Desserts were worth the wait in the end 😍😍We tried flourless Brownie and Gulab Jamun Panacotta and wish we could get it for a second round😂. It was a sweet end to our evening made perfect by their desserts and which also made us smile with every bite of it.

Spending a lazy dazy sunday, we decided to visit Ishaara and by far the best decision we would have ever gone for.

So the best part about Ishaara is that you have to order ishaaro ishaaro mein(using sign language)

The staff was very courteous.

Ambience= 10/10 for me.
It is an amazingly beautiful place.

Food =10/10

So, being a veg I tried the below :

Starters :
1. Tandoori Mushroom
2. Tandoori Broccoli
3. Paneer Dori Kebab
4. Sago Tikki

The starters were amazing especially the paneer dori kebab, it was like the star of the starters.
Sago tikki was something different and worth trying, it was like a stuffed sabudana vada.

Chaat :
1. Dilli Aloo Tikki
2. Punjabi Samosa
3. Dahi Bhalle
4. Papdi Chaat

They all were just yummmmm , it never felt like to stop eating them but we had to eat Maincourse too.

Main Course :
1. Veg Jaipuri
2. Garlic Naan

Amazing and Spicy curry.

Dessert :

1. Gajar Halwa Crumbles
2. Gulab Jamun panacotta
3. Flourless Brownie

The Gajar ka halwa was neither too sweet nor too bland. It was just perfect.
If you visit Ishaara, the flourless brownie is a must , it is just yummmyyyy.

Also tried some mocktails:

1. Indian Gooseberry Cooler
2. Mandarin and Chilli

These cocktails were really refreshing and tasty.

Overall, Ishaara had amazing food, worth trying and worth visiting.

The food is really good, along with pretty plating and served with a smile always! Had a couple of vegetarian options and nothing seemed to disappoint, the desserts are especially a bliss, and just cannot be missed! My favourite dessert has to be the flourless brownie & tandoori broccoli when it comes to appetisers!

One of the best places to visit. After a long day of shopping at the mall, one definitely can call this a mouth watering treat to self! I visited along with my group of 8 friends and we ordered for dishes such as baked brocolli, tandoori mushroom, dilli aloo tikki, mutton dori, dahi bhalla, papdi chaat, paneer dori, keema samosa, sufiyan chicken biryani and makhan chicken. The show stealers hands down were mutton dori, makhan chicken and keema samosa. We ordered for desserts as gajar ka halwa crumble, gulab jamun panna cotta and flourless brownie. Very unique fusion desserts. Another thing that i really like about ishaara is the concept of the restaurant and how they empower the ones with hearing and speech impairment . I was highly recommended this restaurant by 4 different people and it did not disappoint. The pav bhaji and butter chicken were the best I had in my short time in Mumbai. Good food , great service . As it was our first time visiting a concept restaurant , was wondering how we could comfortably order as a novice with sign language - but the menu has it all - neatly numbered and with directions as to how to sign for which item. Delightful, Polite and courteous staff - always trying to keep the guests comfortable. Food was scrumptious and sumptuous. Could be a bit on the spicier side keeping in mind the Indian palate. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Welcome to Ishaara where staff spoke volumes through their actions—attentive service, prompt responses, and a genuine passion for culinary excellence. It was more than a dining experience. The Dahi Ragda Chat danced on my palate with a symphony of textures—crispy, creamy, and tangy—each bite a revelation. The Chicken Tangdi, a masterpiece of succulence, arrived impeccably seasoned and charred to perfection, unveiling the culinary prowess of the kitchen team. Every tender bite was a testament to their skillful execution. The Chicken Biryani, a fragrant medley of spices and basmati rice, transported me to a gastronomic paradise. And then came the Rasmalai—a divine conclusion to the feast. The velvety sweetness of the dessert, crafted with precision, left an indelible mark on my taste buds, a fitting finale to an extraordinary dining experience.
