I've been to Miniya Turk multiple times and the food has never dissapointed. In my opinion this place is the best Turkish food in Mumbai.
They begin the experience with some freshly baked bread, that's warm and pillowy and the perfect start to your meal. For appetizers we ordered the pide which arrived in all its cheesy goodness and was better than most pizzas I've had. For our main, we had the the vegetarian soya Pilaf. The plate looked so beautiful and the portions were so large, I felt full just looking at it. Needless to say, the dish was delicious with moist pilafs, flavourful rice and a wonderful balance of all components. We tried the Baklava for dessert and it was okay, not as great as the rest of the dishes but still full of flavour. They ended the meal with some amazing Turkish coffee and dates. All in all, Miniya Turk provides an amazing experience and should be definitely on your list if you enjoy Turkish food.
Absolutely amazing dining experience...the food was super delicious and the ambience was great too.. looking forward to visit again
One of the best Turkish experience in Mumbai. Baklava time warped me to warm Istanbul evenings. Paradise for meat lovers.
I loved my experience, wish could go there again. Superb experience, Chef Suri came out and personally recommended. Absolute delicious cocktail, kebabs & platter
First off, absolutely amazing and authentic ambience 😍. Fell absolutely in love with it. The service and presentation was absolutely spot on too ♥️. The menu is huge! So it'll probably take you atleast 3-4 visits to try out the menu and get a feel of everything. I tried a bit of both, the Turkish and Italian menu, so I'll just rate the dishes:-
Complimentary table bread 5/5
Cold Coffee 5/5
Watermelon Basil Cooler 5/5
Gnocchi ala Genovese 4/5
Hummus 3/5 (hummus was great, but the pita alongwith it was very thin and hard and chewy)
Sebzeli Pide 6/5 (yeah it was that good)
Chicken Involtini 5/5
Chocolate Raspberry Torte 0/5 (description said cake, but it was actually a tart, which was undercooked. The raspberry coulis was too tart to be edible. Left the whole thing uneaten.)
Complimentary Dates and Turkish Coffee 5/5
Would definitely visit again 👍
The med sampler is the perfect appetizer to begin with. Had higher expectations from the chicken Adana kebab in terms of taste but really liked the presentation. Also tried a dish which was out of the menu, the lamb Adana kebab with rice, fattoush and minced meat which was a little dry but the meat was succulent and delicious. Though the best of them all was the pollo fiesta considering an Italian Pizza at a Turkish restaurant.
Since the panic about the corona virus, the restaurant took all possible measures to ensure the basic hygeine, like sanitizing the customers at the entrance, the chefs and the kitchen staff wearing masks, and waiters with the gloves on. Great work 👍
Went for a late dinner (kitchen open till 12.30 am) to Miniya Turk in Andheri West. We were the only people dining at the restaurant when we went but the staff were really accommodating and helpful. We were given a complimentary portion of herbed bread to begin with which was really soft and tasted amazing with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing. We ordered a med sampler, lamb kibbeh, chicken schnitzel and a customised dish with pilaf, minced lamb and lamb sheekh kebabs. The food was generally very good - all the dips of the med sampler were fresh - my favourite was the muhamarra. Quality of meat and bread was excellent. The pilaf-lamb dish was mouthwatering. My only complaint would be that the lamb kibbehs were a little hard. For dessert, we called for tiramisu and baklava. The baklava was literally stuffed with pistachios-tasted really yum! Would definitely recommend Miniya Turk for the food and ambience.
A one of it's kind restaurant, Miniya Turk is one place to look out for.
A venture of Chef Ishijyot Surri, Miniya Turk offers a mix of Turkish and Italian cuisines.
A décor of beige and green welcomes you. There is also an open kitchen so you can have a look how the food is made.
The staff dons a turkish cap and are are very well versed in the dishes.
The way they have presented their menu is very unique wherein the items in green are Turkish dishes and the items in blue are Italian dishes.
What we ordered..
They served us a Herbed Bread along with oil and vinaigrette which is traditional to Italian culture. We loved it.
Insalata Caprese :
A classic Italian salad with fresh and soft buffalo mozzarella, basil and tomato with oregano on top and a garlic dressing. An amazing start to our meal.
Spinach Feta Triangles :
A Phyllo pastry stuffed with the best combination out there of spinach and fresh feta cheese and pine nuts. The outside was very crispy and the inside was very soft.
** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED **
Lamb Keftedes :
A classic turkish dish, minced lamb mixed with spices and deep fried and is served with lettuce and tomato salad. The spices tasted good but I felt the crispness could be better. Its a really big kofta ball so its filling on the stomach.
Kuru :
Kuru is basically a big potato that has its stuffing removed and is stuffed with our choice of stuffing. We got the four cheese along with olives and jalapenos. Its really yumm but as its a big potato, one is more than enough.
Veg Buryan :
For the main course, we opted for Veg Buryan which is a turkish version of the Biryani but very very different. This had flavorful rice along veggies cooked in spicy gravy. On the side they serve salad. Its too delicious to miss it. The gravy and the veggies are cooked very well and they are a burst of flavor in the mouth.
** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED **
For the dessert we opted for the cassic Turkish dessert of Baklava. Crisp on the outside with a stuffing of pistachios and sugar syrup, it was freshly made and tasted really yumm.
We ended our meal with Turkish Coffee as it was just as fresh and the perfect end to our meal.
The service can be a bit slow owing to the crowd as the place is always full.
Food here is to die for. Each and every dish that we tried is unique in their own way. Special thanks to Mr. Vivek and his team for making our meal a delightful one.
Yummy food excellent ambience. Highly recommended
It was a really good experience visiting Miniya Turk, hugely due to its amazing service. Loved the food as well as ambience. It is a must visit to try some different cuisine. Kudos to the very cordial staff.
Literally a hidden gem. The staff is polite and highly considerate as they realised I’m having cold they served me lukewarm water and also suggested the drink which is good for throat.
The food is worth every penny.
Highly recommend this place.
It's an amazing place to find Turkish food. The preparation Wil blow up your mind. The spices are delicious and feels a lot authentic. Also the look and feel of the place adds to it. The decor was so authentic yet felt city-like. What we really liked is the service of the restaurant. The guys are ever helpful and the management was also very friendly. Although the location is a bit tricky to find once you reach its a nice setup of 6 different restaurants in there.
Been here too many times by now and the service has never disappointed. Neither has the food. Only tried the Turkish food and will definitely recommend it. No particular favourites here because the order every time has been different. But it's great that the chef is ready to listen to your customization requests with a smile!
Being a lover of Italian food and some good Baklava, Miniya Turk seemed like the best place to go. Navigating to this place might be a bit difficult but reaching this place was indeed worth it.
Now to what we had, for appetizers:-
1) MED SAMPLER - 4.5/5 (Must have)
This was their Lebanese platter that we ordered.
GOOD - The falafel, hummus, baba ganoush (mashed eggplant + tahini +oil), muhammarra (roasted red pepper dip with pomegranate), tabbouleh (a Lebanese salad)
The hummus was one of the best that I've ever had and the tabbouleh stood out!!
BAD - The display picture showed a bowl of marinated olives but we weren't served any but that's fine.
2) Kuru - 5/5 (Must have)
A big Turkish jacket potato covered with a load of toppings. We opted for Four cheese,
Herbed garlic butter corn, Jalapeños and Hot Chilly Sauce.
GOOD - How can one go wrong with cheese and potatoes. 100/100. Loved it.
3) Shawarma Wrap - 4/5
Not a non vegetarian so going by the words of my co-diners.
GOOD - The shawarma was really well flavored and balanced but the flavours were a tad bit mild. The fries that accompanied the wrap deserve a special mention.
Main Course:
4) Penne in Arrabiatta Sauce - 4.5/5 (Must have)
The Arrabiatta was almost perfect.
GOOD - The best thing about it was they served some extra pasta sauce and it made my day.
BAD - We ordered fettuccine but we got penne (trying really hard to point out some faults)
5) Verdura Delight - 4.5/5
The veggie pizza
GOOD - A pretty good pizza. Special credits to the cheese on the pizza.
Desserts:
6) Baklava - 5/5 (Must must have!!)
Oh my my!! Had to be the best thing we had there. Let the portion size not fool you, it is quite heavy and jam packed with flavour.
GOOD - The blast of butter and the after taste. Am at a loss of words!
7) Double layered chocolate mousse - 4.5/5
The name says it all.
GOOD - The mousse was silky smooth. One of the better chocolate mousse that I've had.
Some other good things :
a) The service is fantastic, so is the ambience.
b) They have separate coloured glasses for veg and non veg folks. Something which was unique to this place.
Overall Review:
Food - 9.5/10
Service - 9.5/10
Value for money - 8/10
Satisfaction - 10/10
First time visit must say worth every money spent , ordered med sampler , chicken shish taouk, zatar pide , balela,Shawarma wrap in cocktail whiskey cappadocia
Best compliments to courteous staff and the kitchen team to live up the theme
I highly recommend this place must visit
We went here on Sunday for family lunch. They have a very nice ambience. The flower paintings are eye catching !!! The food is also very tasty and seemed really authentic Turkish and Italian. The plating of each dish is unique and simply beautiful. Someone who doesnt click pictures much would also be motivated to take some. The staff is very courteous as well. To top it all, they serve a complimentary Turkish coffee in the end of your meal in the authentic Turkish way. That is like cherry on top of your experience.
The ambience along with the Turkish music in the background really gives you the middle east arabian nights feel. The food which I ordered was Chickpea kofta and spiced pilaf really lived upto the authentic Turkish cuisine, however the restaurant has its own version of kunafa which can be improved. The restaurant really stands out for its amazing service though
Went to MiniyaTurk for a family dinner as the reviews tempted us enough to try it out.
We ordered the Labneh Stuffed Falafel, Med Sampler, Veg Shish Taouk, Shwarma Wrap, Sabzelli Pide, a Pizza and Kunafe.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Though I didn't like the kunafe was I was expecting it to be like the one's I tasted there.
Will be visiting sometime soon again.
We were at Miniya Turk last Saturday, almost did not make it as at some stage you think you have reached a dead end due to the location. Right from the reception to the time we were seated the experience was very pleasant. We ordered a Lamb Kibbeh ( having lived in the Middle East for long, I give it full marks), Kiymali Pide & a Buryan Chicken. The service, food, presentation were excellent. The General Manager too come to our table for a chat which was a good gesture.
I wish i had more words to say about this place, just awesome, just perfect, the staff is wowwww, what hopitality, mashallah,
Food is awesome, everything we ate n drank complimented the taste of the owner, shows great passion for FOOD,AND SERVICE.
God bless and may this resto rock n do very well👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ordered for the first time from here as a test run. Food was good but the packaging (or delivery) is terrible. Ref to the pics attached, the bruschetta came all messed up. Baklava was good (should have been more crunchier), tried Kunafa for the first time n is quite an interesting dish.
Overall, my guess is, it’s better to eat at the outlet than ordering it. And not because of the bad packaging or delivery. This food should be eaten with the appropriate presentation which enhances the overall feel of the cuisine.
Would surely visit soon (and update this review)
Had been craving for some authentic Arabic food for a while n wooohhh this place did a get job at satisfying those cravings... The lamb kebab were juicy and tender... N gave a burst of flavor from the Arabic spices... The chicken tavook was nice too... I particularly enjoyed the pide or the Arabic take on pizzas... We finished our meal with sm baklava n kunefa... Though the kunefa was, a disappointment the rest of the meal just floored me... Will definitely be back to fix some more cravings.
Had a great experience over here great ambiance awesome food n the most imp cordial n co-operative staff all at one place ie MINIYA TURK well all the staff are very humble n polite the one who was serving my table Mr Sibashankar Pradhan was very helpful n quite engaging in helping me to decide the menu being a teetotaler his inputs were really helpful. Here if u visit u will get bun olive oil n vinegar in start n dates n Turkish coffee in the end as complimentary that's they way real TURKS serve their guest. I had Morrocan chicken n lentil soup, Balela, Ras ek hanout spiced prawns, Psari skharas and Baklava all were up to the mark but my fav was baklava which I ordered twice. I would really recommend this restaurant if u waana hav a good tym n relish n amazing hospitality n taste the best Turkish cuisine in Mumbai will definitely visit the same soon and also recommend other people also.
Something new I wanted to try in cuisine so i decided to try out this restaurant for Saturday night. So beginning with ambience the decor is pretty good and give middle East feels alongside soothing Turkish music in background it goes on another level. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. I had started with Dates colada and Yasmine ice tea in cocktails. While colada was good enough the Yasmine tea wasn't upto mark and was tasting like normal ice tea. In appetizers we had sampler platter which was the awesome then kuru which was a little bit let down considering it was their one of speciality. Then in main course since we were full with kuru we had sebzeli pide which was also extremely good. And finally we had vermicelli kunafa which was highlight of entire meal. Though we had made mistake of using dry fruit as layer as originally you should try it with cheese still it was good enough. Highly recommended for dinner with family or friends.
The newest addition to the spate of Mediterranean restaurants in the city, this tastefully done up place with comfortable seating and a cheerful ambience, beckons you instantly. The food menu is exhaustive and apart from Turkish cuisine, which is the mainstay, it includes, Italian fare, which seems a bit of an aberration. The 'Moroccan Chicken' and 'Lentil Soup', is mildly flavoured, but palate-pleasing nevertheless. The 'Tabbouleh Quinoa Salad', offers oodles of crunch and a medley of tangy flavours, which add zing to the taste buds. The 'Labneh Stuffed Falafel' is well-executed and reminiscent of the ones sampled in the region. The 'Spinach Feta Triangles' will melt-in-your-mouth. Do not miss the 'Baklava and Vermicelli Kunafa' here, for dessert. The staff is well-trained, courteous and offers efficient service.
Spectacular is the word for this place!
Being a Arabic food lover and also a Italian food lover I’m in awe of this place. When I got to know that it’s Arabic and Italian I was like that’s the Perfect combination of a culinary experience of your favourite cuisine.
The decor, the staff the food the quality and the quantity these all are basics right.
Well, they nailed it in all
The decor is super simple and classy, the staff is very polite and sweet and really attentive to each details a specials thanks to Richard,Mitu and Rajen for a great experience.
The food is outstanding I really loved
The Spinich Feta Triangle it was so sinful and crusty
Med Sampler - it’s a platter of all assorted flavours of hummus, dips and pita bread along with falafels, the Edamame hummus was amazing
Dolmasi - One of my favourite dishes it’s rice and chicken or your choice of meat mixed with rice and stuffed in grape leaves with salad
Pide: I love them the mutton or chicken it’s delicious
Four Cheese Kuru - it’s a Patata, huge potato where you can make it however you want with really yummy toppings
Turkish Delight and Dates Colada were my favourite in drinks they also have something like the Arabic drink Labaan which they have given it a different twist
The Spaghetti Bolognese was just awesome
Sutlec -A yummy Turkish rice pudding
Must try the Baklavas they melt in your mouth
Creme Caramel - Which was made to perfection
Kunafa - You are not a desert lover if you haven’t tried this
Kudos to the Chefs Saurabh and Sachin
Looking for good food , Ur search stops at Minia Turk. Small lovely place which excellent food , ample choice for vegetarians . The Lebanese /Mediterranean is so good dint even scan through the italian menu. Highly recommended.
Exceptional food everything was so yummy and we can’t wait to go back there again
This place is truly a bliss for everyone who loves Turkish and Lebanese food.
We tried almost 6 varieties of dishes and each one stood out. I would recommend.
Good food, lot of veg options, we had cottage cheese harissa, sebzeli pide and most amazing soya cheakpea kofta with spiced pilaf....loved the mix of spices dey had in food....very diff from our normal masala....very good quantity as well.....excellent service specially by ankit....end with amazing Turkish coffee. Being a veggie if i loved so much im sure will b even better for NV.
Amazing food! Loved the Buryan, the pide, the mushroom and brocolli zuppas! Must visit!
22nd August
A late review!
Was here with a friend, and I have to say loved everything about this place!
The ambience is simple and good and service great.
The food was great, ordered
1. Pollo alla Duchessa
Chicken breast stuffed with prawns and olives and, with polenta infused with brandy cream sauce.
This was great, the chicken well cooked with a decent amount off prawns, the only negative I found was the sauce was very very rich.
Personal recommendation, should not put a lot of sauce on top, we should be allowed to put it according to our taste.
2. Turkish lamb stew with pilaf rice. This was just amazing, the stew awesome and the lamb so tender. No complaints. Fantastic.
The coffee after the dinner was amazing.
Authentic Turkish!
Full marks to this place. Can't wait to try other dishes!
Baklava is excellent.. must try
Loved this place the med platter was awesome, all the dips were fresh & tasty enjoyed the soup & main course. The tiramisu was yum
Restaurant : Miniya Turk
Where : Lokhandwala, Andheri West
What : Turkish, Lebanese & Italian cuisines
Cost of Meal for Two : 2000 approx
.
Miniya Turk is a newly opened restaurant in Crescent Royale, Lokhandwala, Andheri West. It is situated on first floor among hub of restaurants near by like Mulk, Copper Parrot, etc from the same owner.
The location is a bit off route, follow Google maps for assistance. The place is serving Turkish, Lebanese and Italian food. I visited them for Friday dinner and had an enjoyable meal. I am fond of Lebanese & Turkish cuisine and they serve delectable exceptionally authentic food. Loved each dish be it the Chickpea hummus, Turkish Lamb chops, Spinach feta triangle, Chicken shish taouk, Dessert Kunafa & Turkish coffee with dates.
Ambience is very beautifully designed with open kitchen, comfortable seating, private dinning area & Moroccan styled lamps.
Service is excellent. Music and vibes is amazing.
Pricing a bit high compared to food quality, quantity, taste, location, ambience & service.
Overall, I will definitely visit them again for Turkish food. Go Turkish!!
A last minute decision, which turned into one of my best gastronomic experiences. Located on the floor above Mulk, surprised not many people there. Fantastic service and the servers had wonderful knowledge of the dishes. Excellent recommendations ... Worth a visit again....
Lovely Turkish cuisine place. Would definitely recommend to visit the place for lunch as the food is too heavy to eat. The food is next level hygienic served with very gentle and friendly staff. Do try the Vermicelli kunafa desert made in Ghee !
One of the best places I have been recently!!!its awesome.... they have one of the most elaborated menu... awesome vegeterian options! Started with Italian soup ordered 2 Turkish starters....the quantity is great... so much that we 2 ppl had no space let in our stomach to call for mains!! Ended with a classic Italian dessert...tiramisu...kudos to the team... amazing food... must visit....I m sure yo visit more so that I can try everything from that amazing menu
The staff was very attentive and friendly. They were helpful with the menu choices as well.
The food was mind blowing. We loved everything we had and the only disappointment was that we were full to the point of bursting so we couldn't have some more. The chickpea kofta pilaf was incredibly flavourful.
They have an open view kitchen and restaurant kitchens are usually so busy and noisy with people shouting orders at each other but the kitchen staff here seemed very organised and peaceful so even that was delightful to see.
Thank you for the lovely evening
Good food, fairly authentic. The service was the excellent. And the music, all 80’s stuff, was thoroughly enjoyable.
Amazing place! The food quality and quantity is amazing.
Stick to the turkish food. Italian food can be missed.
Must order:
1)Med sampler
2)Pide - turkish pizza
3)Kuru - cheesy jacket potatoes
Also they serve complimentary turkish tea or coffee 👍🏻
Cost for 2 - 1000rs ( They have zomato gold)
Delicious food and amazing service in a nice turkish inspired atmosphere! Every dish we tried was yummy ! Make sure you try the baklava.
If you like Turkish food - this is a definite place to go. Remember ! You may struggle to locate this restaurant so don’t leave your cab/auto until you actually reach the destination.
Ambience is really good flavoured with very soothing music of Middle East and a cool aroma. We ordered Med Platter and it was so damn tasty. We liked the complementary coffee being served at the end with “Khajur”
I would love to go once more to try out their authentic Turkish dessert.
We recently visited Minya Turk & if it weren't for our faith in Google Maps we may not have actually found this mini version of Turkey!
(On a serious note, you may find it a bit hard to find your way at first but Google Maps can be trusted with doing the job for you)
Tucked away in one of the lanes in Andheri is this lively & happening restaurant serving Turkish & Italian food. The vibe of the restaurant actually makes you feel like you are at a joint/restaurant in Turkey with the music & all the servers wearing a Turkish Hat.
We got a chance to taste:
1. Italian Herb Bread that was served to us before the actual meal as amuse-bouche.
2. Chicken Clear Soup - lovely presentation where the waiter pours the soup in front of you on top of this stack of chopped chicken. The flavours were spot on and the Italian herb bread went well with this.
3. Adana Chicken Kebab - As appetizers, we ordered for this Kebab that's basically your normal minced chucked infused with Turkish spices, Pune nuts, pomegranate & a side of one of the best hand-cut fries we have eaten. Each kebab also had a small piece (cut of the same shape as the kebab) of pita below it.
4. Soya Chickpeas Kofta with Spiced Pilaf - one of our mains was this Turkish delight. A bed of rice with 4 large dumplings served alongside hand-cut fries, half pita bread, roasted bell pepper and tomato + some salad (onions, tomatoes and masala)- it was well presented and appealing to the eye but somewhere missed out on the flavour we were looking for in this dish.
5. Chicken Involtini - This was one of the Italian mains we tasted - again, very appealing to the eye - chicken breast filled with sun-dried tomato, spinach & mozzarella served with exotic veggies and cheese mashed potato. This dish was really good but could have had more stuffing of mozzarella in our opinion.
6. Baklava - A Turkish delicacy that we wouldn't miss out the opportunity to devour & oh boy it was spot on with its taste and overshot our expectations.
7. Blueberry Cheese Cake - we ended this lovely evening with an alluring cheesecake that was topped with blueberries and had a centre filling of blueberry as well. Really soft and delicious!
All in all, we had a good experience and would recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Turkish/Lebanese and Italian delicacies. They also had pizza, pasta, pita wraps & different types of bread that we didn't get a chance to taste during this visit.
We found Miniya Turk through Zomato Gold suggestions. Zomato Gold has been very useful for us to try new restaurants which we might not have tried otherwise. I am an ex gulf expat and ex US resident and I am always on a look out for middle eastern or Mediterranean cuisines, and in my last 7 years in Mumbai, I haven’t come across something so close to authentic yet palatable to Indian taste as Miniya Turk.
We ordered Chicken Adana Kabab,
Presentation was too good as you can see in the pictures; but the taste was just as good.
2nd came lamb Pide. And for this I addressed the chef directly in his open kitchen and complimented him for reviving my childhood favourite here in Mumbai. It was pretty close to the original versions I’ve once tasted in Middle East.
3rd dish I unfortunately can’t remember or find in the menu either, was a lamb kofteh kabab pilaaf. The rice was cooked with minced lamb and served with Turkish seekh Kabaabs plus succulent grilled bell peppers & onions, huge French fries and more. I will happily give it 4 out of 5 for taste and presentation.
The staff is attentive and courteous and served complimentary fresh bread to be enjoyed with flavored olive oil, while you wait for your order to be served.
Over all it was a delight to be introduced to this amazing restaurant with such beautiful Mediterranean yet modern decor; absolutely clean and relaxed atmosphere and open and welcoming kitchen.
If we thought that this visit couldn’t get any better, we would have been wrong because when we asked for the bill they offered us complimentary Turkish coffee, which was not actually Turkish coffee but Arabic Kava served with delicious sweet dates. Kava is an aromatic coffee (cardamom flavored & more) but very light black coffee served in mini cups without sugar. You drink it while you chew on the dates.
Some can call it an acquired taste; I call it a heavenly end to a superb meal.

I must say the platter with 7 dips was really good .Apart from this we had ordered a pizza and adana kebeb, the latter was not up to the expectations may be cos it was bit cold.
Whereas the Pizza was great and We loved it.
There is a small suggestion to the miniya turk team ,please bring the orders one by one and not all at once so that the customer can enjoy the variety of flavors each dish has to offer.
This is by far the best (and certainly most authentic) middle eastern restaurant I have been to. There are many restaurants and joins in Mumbai claiming to serve middle easter food. But most do not have anything from middle easter cuisine apart from Hummus, Shawarma and Mandi which are all modified to suit local palettes. But Miniya Turk is pure Turkish and Levantine goodness.
Food:-
1) Med Sampler - This is an absolute must for anybody that comes here. It has 7 different dips ranging from Hummus to Baba Ganoush, Mutabbel, Tabouleh, etc. four falafels and pita bread. Most of the dips are great, the falafels are good too and the pita is fresh. This dish is perfect to start off with.
2) Sebzeli Pide - This is a turkish version of pizza and just as yummy. The pide had a good firm but chewy crust and the toppings were adequate.
3) Kuru - A version of potato jackets or baked potato but with tons of toppings which you can choose as per your liking. It tasted a lot like eating mashed potatoes as the potato was soft but it tasted very good. It is quite filling as well
4) Chicken Adana Kebab - This is a minced chicken kebab that’s served with a sauce that is quite spicy. Served with salad and fries (which was the best part of the dish, seriously the fries are awesome).
5) Cheese Kunafa - The best dish I had here and the best dish in my recent memory. I want to visit again simply because of this dish. The Vermicelli is crispy and firm and the cheese is absolutely yummy. I would recommend the cheese version over the dry fruit version.
6) Drinks - We ordered 3 mocktails the names of which I cannot remember. The one with cucumber is OK but is too overpowered by the cucumber taste. The other blue drink was nice. The date latte was the best with all its spices and dry fruit
7) Complimentary food - They serve a complimentary bread at the start with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We found the bread to be fresh and it goes well with olive oil. At the end they serve dates and black turkish coffee. The dates are delectably sweet. The coffee is great too with hints and aroma of spices. Do not that its a black coffee without sugar and quite weak coffee taste.
Service - We found the service and servers to be top notch. Everyone was polite and attentive and our orders did not take very long to arrive.
Ambiance - it is a fairly small restaurant but clean and hygenic with a nice decor. They have an open kitchen and play middle eastern music.
Overall this is a must visit place for everyone!
Loved the food looking forward to visit again!
We really liked the ambience and the Turkish food.. Their Kunafa is specially delicious.
We had a great time owing to the amazing Turkish food and ambience. The staff is extremely courteous and warm.
Would rate this place better than some of the other Turkish restaurants in Andheri. Liked that they had uncomplicated 2 types of menu - Turkish & Italian. Tries alot of stuff from the Turkish part.
Falafel platter had some amazing salads n dips with fresh pita bread. Also as a complimentary appetizer they served warm bread with olive oil. Quite nice. Adana kabab (meat)is a MUST. Suovlaki Poullion (chicken) is delightfully. Lamp chops with Turkish rice was nice. Desserts r a must. Try anything.
An amazing restaurant, good vibes, great food and attentive servers. When all the above check you know the restaurant is a must visit. Visited here for lunch with my friends and was really taken back with the food presentation and taste.
Chicken Ajana kebab, Lamb keftedes and Prawn Ras Al hanout for appetizers. All of them were spot on!!! For mains we had a mix of Lamb with Cous cous, Prawns pasta and Lamb Pide ( soft of a flatbread) A special mention to the Pasta, I know it's a Mediterranean/ Lebanese restaurant, but that pasta was one of the best pasta I've had in a while.
Complimentary coffee to finish your meal was the cheery on the cake. Must visit with family and friends for sure. Great prices for the quantity.
I visited this place for a couple dinner. The vibe of the place is cozy and the staff is helpful. We ordered a customized open chicken Shawarma. The portion was big with juicy chicken and salad. Just loved the pickled beets.
Next we ordered chicken adani kebab. It was served with bite sized pita and complimentary sauces.
Finished the meal with a delicious complimentary Turkish coffee. I can't miss mentioning that the food was served in beautiful dishes which I was in total awe of. I will visit this place again to try more stuff.
This place serves amazing Food.
If you want to Try the best Bakhlava in Mumbai, you have to come to this place!it serves the best bakhlava.
It has pure turkish taste which is very much important.
The presentation and hyegiene was A1
Even the ambience is lovely.
The staff is very cooperative and polite.
Must visit
Today we went for lunch to this place as we were curious to try authentic Turkish cuisine and I'm very happy to declare that this place did not disappoint us at all. Starting from the smiling & friendly behaviour and service, we really cherished the taste of some serious traditional food. The use of spices and fresh items coupled with fantastic presentation made our day and we ended up overrating there.
The plus point of the restaurant is their ambience and look despite being a small place. Their main forte is to present the minutely curated food punches which is generally found in Turkish cuisine and use of generous toppings. We really loved Lamb chops, Baklava and Turkish style chicken kabab pilaf platter. Turkish fish tikka was not that great.
The Miniyaturk Delight Cocktail is seriously amazing (vodka & coffee combination seemed like a great deal). Also loved the blueberry cheese cake...
I have a suggestion for them which is to serve bit more warm food so it doesn't get cold while eating & relishing.
Finally they served us complimentary Turkish bread with olive & soya oil and cinnamon coffee with dates at the end of the meal. Enjoyed ending the luncheon with the fine flavoured aromatic coffee and dates.
I wish them all the best and hope they keep the service and food standard as high as always. Would love to visit to try other dishes again.
They also have Italian which seems to have many spread however we did not try the same.
Great Ambiance and good food. I had the Med Platter.. while the dips were amazing the pita breads seemed hard and not fresh. We also had Cheese Kanufe, well the best one I have had in India so far, but still far from what I had in Turkey.
The restaurent follows a novel concept of green glasses for the veg and red for the non veg however ironically the rest of the cutlery remains the same :P
The staff is amazing, just happy to help and always smiling. Just loved the attitude.
The complimentary Turkish coffee at the end of the meal is simply amazing!
Our family visited the place for my mom's birthday dinner the approach road to the restaurant was a put off n not the right beginning. Then we entered the venue and things changed quiet a bit. A warm and inviting staff ushered us in. Ankit served us with a few others as though we were guests to their home. We ordered the Mezze Platter and it was a fulfilling and sumptuous start to the evening. The Moutabel was to die for. Next we ordered the lamb kibbeh - juicy mouth watering and delightful. The kuru & pide were safely played however the twist in their preparation style was the icing on the cake. Even the most basic entrees were so well combined to suit the Indian palette & still maintain authenticity. All in all the experience was a 💯
It a must try place for the staff, ambience, definitely the food. Although I felt the pricing was on the higher side the meal overshadowed that thought.
Great food! Amazing taste with every dish we ordered. Dropped in on a lark and what a find! The staff is well trained and all suggestions were worth every bite.
Awesome food n ambience. Love to visit again.
As a starter in complimentary, we got bread n olive oil. I had baklava which is sweet, which was awesome. On the completion of the dinner, you get kava(a black coffee). A complete dinner.
I visited again and once again had an awesome experience.
Super food...super variety. Tried their soya kebabs and salads. Full marks. And the Turkish coffee was yummm..serving size was decent and good variety in vegetarian stuffs.! Revisiting soon!
This was our second visit to Miniya turk and I must say both the time we had a amazing experience. The food, the service and the ambience is just perfect. We ordered the shawarma and it was delicious. The sauces were just right and the wrap was extremely soft. This was one of the best shawarma is have eaten. The next item was the cottage cheese buryan which is ideally a Turkish biryani. Very different and we absolutely enjoyed the buryan. It's a must visit for Turkish food lovers and the have lot of options.. kudos to the team for the excellent service!
Small but Nice place ...
they have tried to give the ambiance a Turkish appeal.
Good food and good portion size.
We ordered 2 non- veg mains .. one each from the Turkish(lamb chops) and the Italian(spinach stuffed chicken) choices.
Both were good.
Towards the end they served us some Turkish coffee with some yummy dates.
Good and polite service ( The advantage that day was that it was raining heavy and the resturant didn’t have many patrons)
To start with, their meal portions are big, ain't for the weak hearted. I hardly had any space left in my tummy by the end.
Kuru - this stole my heart. Potato jacket with four cheese, jalapeno chillies, chilli sauce and sour cream. A simple yet amazingly cheesy and tangy Turkish delicacy.
Med Sampler - Pita bread, falafel with 6 dips and quinoa salad. The dips were very healthy and super tasty.
This was my first time trying Turkish cuisine. The ambience of the place was beautiful. The staff was kind enough to suggest us what dishes to try. And it was all delicious. The complementary Turkish coffee and dates at the end of the meal was very refreshing.
I am in so much love with this place.
Tried-
1. Shish Taouk- 4/5
2. Sabzile pide- 4/5
3. Melon cooler - 5/5
4. Baklava- 3.8/5
5. Turkish coffee- 5/5
Baklava for me was a one time try, it was a good experience! People will love who don’t eat dates & dey fruits regularly Cos it’ll be different for them . It’s very common for me so I’d definitely try Kunafeh next time!
Staff is really sweet & helpful. They’re very welcoming and cooperative.
Overall 5/5 !
After a long wait, some good restaurants have finally started popping in Andheri. Miniya Turk is one such hidden gem. Though the place was a little difficult to find, the food was an absolute delight. We started off with the bruschettas for the starters which had three different types of bruschetta after which we enjoyed a generous serving of the med sampler and the kuru. Then we ordered the arabiatta pastas which came with an extra mug of red sauce to be poured on top. Since we dint have anymore space in our stomach, we skipped to the desserts. We ordered the tiramisu and the molten chocolate cake but the absolute star for me was the red wine poached pears with mascaporne and sabayon. To finish off the meal we were served complimentary Turkish coffee and dates. I believe one visit is just not enough to enjoy what the place has to offer and I would also suggest to go in a bigger group to enjoy all the things on the menu.
So we finally have a place around our vicinity that’ serves some amazing Lebanese and Turkish cuisine ... it’s was very refreshing after all the mundane Italian, Indian and Chinese .. the place is top notch ... very well architected staff was very friendly and nice ... in short a must try ... well done guys ... keep up hue good job :)
Miniya Turk is a fusion of Italian & Arabian food and a pat on their back for such a great place in Andheri!
Food:
Chickpeas tomato soup: This was nice and tangy, well textured and flavoured.
Tabbouleh salad: quinoa grains tossed with parsley, tomato, onion and seasoned with olive oil and lemon vinaigrette. It's was fresh and had this chaat kind of taste. Really good in taste. Recommended.
Med sampler: It consisted of Hummus, asparagus hummus, tabbouleh, labneh, falafel, baba ganoush and muhammara. It was served with pita. We loved their original and asparagus hummus along with muhammara also the falafel bullets. Recommended
Soya kibbet: Moroccan style marinated kebabs. They had this nice flavour of chargrill. Soft and flavourful. Recommended.
Four cheese kuru: Basically it's jacket potato with four cheese melt. It's a heavy dish as a whole potato is served. Basic and good to go.
Sebzeli pide: You can surely call for this one instead of a pizza and it won't disappoint you. Pide is a boat shape turkish pizza. This was loaded with veggies and cheese. Every bite was filled. Highly recommended.
Buryan veg: Another must try and order dish here. We loved it and highly recommend it. The taste, flavour, aroma, everything was good. It's a rice based dish made with exotic veggies and turkish spices. It's got a bit of tangy and spicy taste. Highlyecommended.
Baklava: Surprisingly they make good baklava. We liked it, it could be better if it had the hint of spicy taste in it which should be in baklava, that taste is packed here. It's more on a sweet side here.
Vermicelli kunafa: A dish that can be avoided. It was no where near kunafeh.
Double layered chocolate mousse: A must must order dessert over here. We loved it. The taste, texture etc. Everything was on spot in this layered dessert.
We did try a few cocktails and they were well made and potent. Also we tried their version of turkish coffee which was quite good and flavourful, it was a perfect end to our meal
Overall the place was good in terms of ambience, staff and service. Staff is courteous and friendly. Service is good. We plan to visit again and try more as the menu here is extensive.

After much hemming and hawing, with the support of Mr. Richard, we ordered some of their best dishes. All the dishes we tried were the masterpieces in terms of flavor, texture, presentation and taste.

No meal is complete without a dessert and for me Baklava is the perfect dessert. A culinary Turkish feast is incomplete without Baklava. It added another facet to the culinary hidden gem 💎 restaurant.
A must visit place to enjoy the traditional trademark Turkish dishes in dreamy ambience with great hospitality.
Had been to Miniyaturk at Veera Desai road the other day with friends. As I had been there earlier and was wanting to bring in New Year with gatecrashers who visited me for good wishes. There, we were welcomed by the pleasant smiles of Muzzafar. Good and active guy, Ketan and Hemant equally good...
We ordered dishes that tasted heavenly good. The cost of food was quite reasonable and worth the price. My friends had a wonderful experience n vouched to get back there with their respective families .
Imran was a sweet person with prajkta looking pleasant and cherishing us with a sweet smile .
My friends gave it 4.5/5. Stored Memories
Small Turkish cuisine restaurant in the bylanes of Veera Desai Road. One would need to put the location on a map to find this place. The ambience was cozy and aesthetically pleasing. We found a Turkish place at Andheri West known as Miniya Turk❤️.
The interior and the ambience is asthetic.
This place where you can lunch and dinner with your friend and family to catch a good vibe💫
The staff and manager were friendly & knowledgeable , ready to assist with recommendations and ensuring that every need was met.
They also have refreshing mocktails and shakes🧋.
For starters we will suggest you go for Adana chicken kebab, Iranian lari mutton🍗.
The main course we will suggest you go for Turkish lamb Armico, Saffron chicken with herb🥘.
The dessert we will suggest you go for Vermicelli kunafa🍮.
The food was amazing!!
Especially the tacos. Even the hummus and pita bread was super delicious.
The mocktails were nice too!
Recently, I visited Miniya Turk, where I experienced nice service and tasty food, as well as a nice ambience and attractive wall postures. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. But it's bit hard to find the exact location for first time 😂, I walked a lot to find it.
Excellent service - delicious food - wonderful kunafa - Dyanraj chef and Mr. Richard’s service is very outstanding - I recommend visiting him and enjoying the distinguished experience
I have been here two times before and this was the third time I went there.
For dinner we had -
Corn and cheese Kuru with chicken-
It was a mashed potato and mixed blend of corns, cheese, chicken, mixed herbs and was topped with parsley. They kept the out skin of the potato intact. All the flavours were mixed appropriately. A bit bland to taste.
Mutton and Egg Pide -
It was like a flat bread pizza. Was the best dish we tried in evening. It was awesome to taste and full of meat.
**MUST TRY**
Spinach and feta triangle -
It was crispy from outside and and soft from inside containing spinach. It was stopped with cheese and was served with a small cheese dip. Very tasty. A bit bland to taste.
Herbed bread -
It was complementary. This bread was soft and was served with oil dip.
It costed somewhat around 1800. Was a good experience and would like to visit again and again.
Miniya Turk – Andheri West, Veera Desai area is an honest, successful attempt to to create a mini Turkish fine dinning restaurant in the most happening area. It is located on the first floor of Crescent Royale complex.
They serve Mediterranean, Italian beverages, appetisers, mains and desserts.🇹🇷
The first floor welcomes you with the generous use of painted and carved glasses depicting Ottoman designs and culture. Once in, the decor with huge, multiple, beautiful hanging chandeliers, carved roof, wall paintings, beautiful crockery and lavish seatings mesmerises you. The kitchen is open so that you can see through the glass panes, the hygienic condition in which your food is processed. The whole ambience along with the dressed up services makes you feel as if you are in a Turkey’s fine dining restaurant.
The food quality was best in class and the services were too quick. 🎯
We tried:
Mock tails:
♦️Dates Colada: It is one of the healthy Turkish drink packed with nutritional values. It contained dry fruits, dates, pineapple, kiwi juice with vanilla ice cream.
♦️Melon Cooler: Ideal refreshing drink to chill out with friends. It was the mixture of cut pieces of fresh water melon, basil leaves & soda .
Appetisers:
♦️Med Sample (platter): The platter was large enough for two. It was served with hummus, edamame, tabbouleh, labneh, muhammara and baba ganoush with falafel and pita bread. It was extremely presentable and luscious. The hummus was creamy and oozing with rich umami flavours. The dip melted in our mouth consistently.
♦️ Lamb Patti Kebab: Minced lamb meat, onion and chef special spices were mixed uniformly and skewered. It was served on the base of pita bread and garnished with potato steak & salad. It was delicious.
Main Course:
♦️ Turkish Lamb Armico: The gravy with rustic taste smacked our taste buds. The stew was hearty and filling and gave mouth delight. Slow cooked lamb mutton was served with spiced pilaf.
Dessert:
♦️Dry Fruit Vermicelli Kunafa: Kunafa is a traditional Middle East dessert made with kataifi, soaked in attar, layered with cheese and clotted with pistachio, nuts and cream in the center. Then sweetened milk was poured on it. It was yummiest.
We were welcomed by Mr. Richard, Mr. Vivek and served by Mr. Ajit.
Mr. Vivek briefly explained us the growing popularity of Turkish and Lebanese food. All were highly knowledgeable, polite, courteous. They helped us in selecting the right dishes to suit our taste buds.
A must visit place for all the healthy, authentic Mediterranean food lovers to celebrate and create memories.📍
I love #Arabic food and I constantly keep hunting for a good restaurant that would serve Arabic cuisine. Recently discovered @miniyaturkmumbai .
This is located at Veera Desai Road, inside the lane of the Little door. While the place has been atleast 2yrs old, we found it through @zomato when we were in same vicinity. Another Turkish restaurant, next door refused to give us table though we had called them earlier...but it was good that happened or else we would have not discovered this new place.
The staff is super friendly and courteous. They suggest dishes to order, explain their preparation and also guide with the portion sizes. The ambience is pretty.
What we ordered:
1. Zatar Tavuk Pide: Pide is Traditional Turkish flatbread. The bread combined with various toppings cooked to form a common Turkish meal; Turkish pizza.
This one was stuffed with chicken, olives, caper and spices.
Just like pizza, baked to perfection. Stuffing was delicious.
2. Shawarma Wrap
3. Falafel
4. Turkish Baklava: this was little different from what I have eaten otherwise. It was stuffed with dates stuffing and topped with dryfruits. Loved it.
Price wise it is quiet descent, costs minimum Rs.2500 for two. They also serve alcohol.
The chef here is well trained, the food definitely has the authenticity of #Turkish cuisine.
We will soon be visiting again, they have so many different varieties of Turkish meals available on their menu.
Hospitality: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Food taste: 4/5
Hygiene: 4/5
Pistachio milk cake was the highlight of the dinner.
We ordered Hummus platter, baked potato and a herb bread.
Everything was so yumm, even if you are full - you will still eat more.
Staff is extremely polite.
They know when to come in and when to move out.
The food here is delicious and the portion size is good. Music played here adds to the lovely ambience of the restaurant. You should not miss the Turkish food served here. Our favourite was the lamb kibbeh! The service is great and they give you complimentary Turkish coffee with dates at the end which is wonderful.

Miniya Turk serves Turkish and Italian food and I tried Turkish food since their are lot of Italian restaurants in Mumbai. It was a first for me as far as Turkish food is concerned. The staff had good knowledge of the food and helped us choose the dishes. The service was outstanding , the food quality was awesome , lip smacking. The staff was very attentive and professional. The restaurant is slightly on the expensive side but the portions are big and you should order less than what you normally order. We struggled to finish our food.
The Baclava and complimentary Turkish coffee flavored with cardamom is divine and should not be missed.
One needs to follow the map to the t. It's in a very hidden area if you are not aware of the bylanes. Great food. Turkish cuisine. Got to try some new dishes. Though I may not go again. Didn't leave me craving for anything specific. The shawarma was worthy , so were the dips and hummus. Served very well. The tabbouleh salad was very refreshing. The kumpir- huge potato baked with filling- we ordered 2. They were really huge. Couldn't finish eating them. The jalapeno one is for people who can enjoy chilly flavour, not for the mild tongue people.
Definitely a go to place to try authentic Mediterranean food. The place is nicely decorated with hanging lamps and crafted ceilings. Seating space is a bit uncomfortable due to lack of space. They have an open & hygienic kitchen.
Their service & hospitality was very good to say the least and their attention to detail is commendable. One can easily notice that they care a lot about their customers having a great experience. They have a wide array of food listed on their detailed menu for us to choose from.
As an Amuse-bouche we were served with herbed Bread which was very soft and 2 varieties of oil to drizzle on top. The authenticity of this small portion of food prepared us for the joy ride we were about to have..😍 We ordered the below from menu:
Kuru (Jacket Potato) - A beautifully presented boiled Jacket Potato with fresh toppings on top that you can choose. We had 4 Cheese, Olives & American Buttered Corn. The sauces on the side especially Harissa were delicious and added that something extra. The potato was the hero of the dish and nicely seasoned.
Lamb Keftedes - The attention to detail on the presentation of this dish was off the charts. One could admire the beauty of it. Lamb Keftedes were served on top of discs of Pita bread. Nicely stacked fries and a salad of veggies added the crunch to the dish. Tzatziki dip gave the required creaminess. Again the hint of sauces were delicious. Combine all of this and the dish as a whole was super scrumptious..🤤
Mediterranean Sampler - An assortment of delicious dips to choose from to have along with the soft Pita bread & Falafel. The difference in taste & texture of the dips was something to admire. Smooth Hummus, a bit hot Muhammara, creamy Baba Ganoush, sour Labneh, crunchy Quinoa Tabbouleh, smoky Mutabal and spicy Moutabel were full of flavour..😍
On a parting note we were provided with a complimentary coffee which was very aromatic & a bit bitter. Dates were provided on the side to balance it out.
