The Quarter and The Royal Opera House! Killer combo! Its the coolest venue in town! Had been to the Quarter to watch Ridu, Abhinav and Andrew. Sound was phenomenal and the ambiemce was perfect for a jazz audience. Enjoyed the sound under the influence of an amazing acoustic treatment. Was on a killer pocket crunch! So couldn't really order much, except for a cocktail, that the ticket entitled me to. Considering the location, it of course is not a very pocket friendly place! So be sure you have a good deal to spend, before you head out for a fine dinner experience! Has a open air seating area, which I am sure, is not the most ideal place during summers! But fortunately, I was visiting on a February evening, I had a good time! A 5 star and a must visit place for good food, a posh environment and the best music possible in town!
I loved the place, the ambience is very pretty and also the food was good.
They have 4 sections, one is a cafe, one is open air , one is bar and the other is a tiny room where you can book and sit for shows and match screenings, therefore it's called quarter as it has four parts.
The person serving us was named Binoy Das and he gave us a wonderful detailed explanation of the place and the food.
They serve pizzas, sphaghetti, fries, desserts and many other things.
So we had the nachos and they were yummy with guacamole and sour cream.
Then we ordered mushroom poutine and it was super yummy💕.
For dessert we had a red quinoa dessert, it was different, but yummy. We also had cold coffee and it was pretty good too.
We loved the entire experience.

I visited The Quarter for the first time for a live Jazz event. It has regular live music nights, I believe. It has an extensive menu for alcohol but not for non-alcoholic beverages. Being a teetotaler, I really wish such places would offer more variety in milkshakes and mocktails. I'd wanted one of the milkshakes they had on the menu, but had to settle with a Hibiscus Tea Sangria.
The Quarter hosts Mumbai's upcoming as well as established Musicians for fun filled musical evenings. The place is a bit cramped on such nights though the music, the wood fired oven Pizzas and cocktails make up for it.Like any other joint Bombay; it lacks space but more than makes up for that in character.
Great music and great food. A place of live music with intimate atmosphere. Something that was greatly lacking in Mumbai!
Intimate Show experience, great sound and good food. Lots of vegan options to choose from.
Amazing place where you can enjoy good music performance!
The vibe is great. However the pizzas are really soggy. The tarragon chicken is an amazing dish. One of my favourites. Also the chicken Greek salad is a favourite for health-conscious clubbers. I’ve played for a few bands at this venue and the sound and acoustics is arguably one of the best in the city. Perfect for watching jazz acts perform live.
Amazing experience ... unique ... warm ... beautiful artists ... food sublime ... a must in Mumbai
Was here for a live music event. The staff is polite and the place has a good sound.
With the best stone oven baked pizzas in town, this place is a gem. Fell in love with their risotto. A beautiful place that gives you an option of indoor sitting with live music and outdoor sitting with a magnificent view of the classic royal opera house. This place is uptight yet casual, which makes it one of my favourites.
It's classy enough to justify it's location in the Royal Opera House. The al fresco dining area (the only one of the four areas that I visited) is lovely in terms of ambience, food and service. The menu is relatively limited but well created. I particularly liked the pizza, plebeian as that sounds.
The best place to listen to jazz music in Mumbai at the moment. And since there are very few such places left in the city at the moment, the quarter definitely stands out. The vibe of the pub is fantastic. The collection of drinks and food is great. Their woodfire pizzas are a must try. Must visit for anyone who wants to experience the old world charm of Mumbai and an evening of wonderful music. The Quarter also has a beautiful outdoor seating available at the ground level nicely lit up after sunset. However the music performances are strictly indoors. You can check out the bands/artists that will be performing online on their website. You need to book tickets in advance for the music nights as the place is small and seating is limited. Tickets can be booked on insider.in
The Quarter has four sections- the live, the dine (outdoors), all-day-cafe, and the wine and cheese bar. It's a very chic and elite place, the food served here is farm to fork gourmet. The service is brilliant and the best part is the live events the venue hosts.
Set in the beautiful Opera House, the quarter is a great place to have a drink while watching live performances. It's quite small, but the ambience is comfortable and cosy. Definitely worth a visit.
Great little spot for live music, and good finger foods to boot. Little cramped, and I wish they'd hand out wet wipes with your food so you don't have to walk out the front door by the band just to wash your hands, but those are minor issues...never had a bad time there, so here's hoping they stick around a long time.
