My friends keep going to this local bar and everytime they go i call for food.. I love their Dal khichdi, chicken chilli, chicken lollypop and many more!!

This is another old school bar in Andheri west. Unlike most of the bars this is an very neat and clean place to enjoy your drinks with some food. The prices of alcohol here are expensive than any other bar. The service is OK. Not much of an ambience. Classic shaddy place. The food is good mostly like any other bars.
After the ISL match looking out for some Indian food and chilled beer we ended up going there as it was the closest one. Ambience was good, but little noisy and the comfortable sofas to seat on. The table attendant was good and was quick to suggest you.
The kheecha papad was something very different and crispy one. The bites were nice but only problem you will face is that the food is not piping hot and salt was less to get the best flavour of the food. We had chicken takatak at the end with roti (not that hot again) and my friend had to ask twice for replacement, may be the reason was it's packed but that's what we want is good food.
Bill wasn't that heavy for four of us but food served hot would have been appreciated. One try is fine.
A proper sitdown bar. Have many memories of this place growing up. Great place to unwind with your old time pals. Let the conversations keep on giing. A bit emotionally attached with this one as it's the only bar located at Veera Desai Road (not counting the shady bars near police chowky at last bus stop). Prefer sitting in Non AC, as I can't stand the cigarette smoke in AC. Food is decent. Use to be better earlier. There's a new guy at the counter now. Doesn't recognise the regular customers and goofs up my order on most occasions. Our beloved Anna at the counter was much better. Lots of changes. The only constant at this place has been our body builder anna. Now, most of the times I prefer their other bars viz. Lotus Cafe & Quarter Deck.
It serves good Chinese food it's biryani also tastes awesome. It's usually crowded by people came here to have a drink the staff are also not so good
Great breakfast, we will definitely be back for more french toast... Luckily it was quite quiet so got a table easily, I'm sure it gets very busy!
A very old joint in Andheri, a good place for Drinks with good food. This is also t place were one can hear and see songs, live matches on big screen. A good place with friends be it boy or girl.

I wanted to see the Ind vs Aus cricket match and usually goes to a lounge bar to enjoy the game with a glass of beer. But one of my friend suggested KC and I wanted to try this place. AC section was almost empty only with a big TV with few waiters looking around. AC section is more comfortable and spacious compare to the non AC section.
The place got filled with the 10 minutes of the match and people were screaming and cheering.
Started with beer and some Masala Boiled Chanas which very good. Next was Chicken Banjara Kebab which was very good. With right amount of spices and tender meat, Kebabs were mouth watering. Then we relished on their Chicken Lollipops which were okay. In between the orders, we had peanuts, chickpeas and chakli with Green Mint Chatni to enjoy our beer with the match. Next was Tandoori Chicken which was nice with bit more burnt ends. We ended with a Chicken Boneless Dum Biryani which was different from usual Mughlai style. The spices were mild with less aroma and overpowering tender chicken.
The staff is good and quick but sometimes gets rigid, maybe due to over pressure. Food quality is good and portions are enough. The prices are very pocket friendly. I really enjoyed my food and the match. Overall a good and affordable place to chill. 👍👍👍
We were just walking along the Andheri Sports Complex road and sported Kamal Chhaya (KC). Looked kinda welcoming so we decided to give this place a try .
A small but homely joint for regular sippers or for someone who wants a quicky after a tiring day at work.
The prices are pretty low, be it Indian or the imported Spirits. Service is pretty slow. But it does give you a lot of time to chat around and watch your favorite game running live on the LED monitors.
Food is good to taste.

Though this place has the image of a regular bar next door, it's one of the best bars in the area.
The rates are similar to any other regular bar, food is surprisingly tastier than usual bars. Chicken Taka Tak is a must try. What stands out the most about this place is the seating arrangement. The tables are well spaced out unlike the regular bars where ur elbows land up touching the person on the other table. Once you befriend the server you are a VVIP in the restaurant. Definitely a place you can go again and again with your friends. And oh, there's rarely any waiting which is a plus point!
A very nice place for drinks and food.The service is slow,but the wait for the food is worth it. Things highly recommended egg Fried rice and kori roti chicken curry.The prawns koliwada was nice,but very spicy. Nice on pocket as well

The most famous hangout in Andheri west for Bachelors. Funny how this relation goes because when I was young, we used to order Chinese food from KC because it was the BEST UDUPI STYLE CHINESE food in the locality.
The smell of fresh garlic in Manchow soup coupled with that flamed fried rice and noodles.
And then as I graduated, started exploring this place with friends for something called NIP (quarter). the serve you some chana as chakna which goes amazing with the alcohol.
The interiors are of a typical bar and you might not be very comfortable sitting here with family so I suggest to avoid it.
For the food, this place is great..... and for Alcohol, this place is better..

Every place need not be swanky and upmarket.
Sometimes when it gets lonely in this city you find solace in the cacophony of an Udipi Restaurent, in the friendliness of waiters, in the smile of the Anna at the counter. Even if your card doesn't work he will let you go knowing you will be back.
Udipi Bars and Restaurants are part of the culture of Mumbai So 4 stars for the love of this city.
Good place to hang out and let off some steam. Liver masala fry and chana koliwada are good dishes to try. Wouldn't recommend couples. However the AC section has been renovated well. Also prices are decent. ..
They have renovated the ac section very well....ambience is improved...rates are decent too....try the kamal chaya spl chicken tandoori ....fish tava fry and dal tadka...its amazing....ideal joint if you can't afford the neighbouring pocket unfriendly places.....
this is a simple sexy place to have cheap drinks and good food. I mostly order from them since they are next to my office and their service is awesome! some of my favs here are their simple dal khichdi, their chicken kadai, biryani's and all of their chinese, its right for the indian pallate!

One of the oldest and best bar with dining. The rates are very economical and the service is too good. The food taste is very delicious specially for chinese cuisine. One should order for Singapore and Hongkong Rice, Tandoori Lollypop, Chicken Hunnan

An old dingy place in existence for a long time. A typical Bombayia quarter bar famous for its chakna.
We were quite regular during Salesmen days. It was broken, renovated a couple of times and is now a tad upmarket quarter joint.
Many memories and meetings and discussions have happened here over old monk, chakli, chana,wafers and their new crispy corn.
They serve a mean Bombil, Surmai also, whilst the chicken preparation in starters is also good enough, we normally avoid mutton.
Some of the favourites - Starters - Corn crispy, Chana masala, papad, fish tikka, Bombil, anda Bhurji; Mains - Sukka chicken, chicken tikka masala, paneer masala, dal tadka, Paneer chilly.
The best part is - Even as a quarter bar they reserve and hold a table or two on Friday if we call.

From the outside one would probably think of not entering this place. But once you step up to their first level you might think otherwise. Tucked away on veera desai road this quarter bar draws crowds mainly from the media.
You can smoke inside too. Wow. This one is to be mentioned first for smokers. And for non smokers too. Alert

Interior of the place is pretty good compared to other quarter bars. Dimly lit, comfortable seating, clean & chilled out.
The place with a little better food could become one of a regular hang out for dinner & drinks.
kamal chayya's Ac section is very good, in comparison to other bars the seating system is very good, ambeince is also decent, you can visit their with your family.

Kamal Chhaya! This is one of the best local bars around Andheri West. It is the go-to place for all of my friends. Although it may look a bit shady from outside, the AC section is really done up well. The staff is helpful and attentive, drinks are extremely cheap. (Just around 30% higher than wine shop rates, as compared to the 100-200% margin in fancy bars)
It's not a place to boast about to your friends, but the perfect place if you just wanna have a few round of drinks in the evening with your friends/collegues. The seating is comfortable and the ambience much better than the Roadhouse Bluez nearby which charges 3 times more for everything just because it plays wannabe music.

Never judge a book by it's cover and Kamal Chhaya is a fine example of that. Hesistant and apprehensive to enter in there with my work colleagues, I walked in and was struck by awe. What an ambiance to the 'desi bar!

This is one the famous bar restaurant , ac and non AC sitting avai here, G+1 restaurant, ac and family section on the first floor, food is very tasty , Chinese,mughlai and south indian dishes available at a very reasonable price, this place has a very different vibe, staff is very courteous and polite as well.

All time favourite place to hangout with friends/cousins & colleagues. Weekend is fully crowded,but you will get proper service, quality of food is superb, quantity is also good sufficient for 2-3 .
