I just love it..... World best taste is here. Yeh nahi taste kiya toh zindagi me kya kiya huhh
It is a amazing dish, out of this world. Grew up eating this for breakfast as a kid. Although it full of fat layers, but once in a while you leave aside all the restrictions.

This is one of the oldest paya places. A new location. But the taste is the same. This is the best paya place in Mumbai. The gravy os so rich and well done that you feel the filling even later. The mouth has the ghee even after its done. The gravy has barley. The best thing here is that even after its made he will not gove it to you till he thinks its perfect.
Valibhai has been a favourite every Ramzan from the first time I was taken there to their old joint in Bohri Mohalla. Now he has shifted to his new location since their old location has undergone redevelopment. The new location has an AC section for families as well as for people who want to avoid the heat of the bara handi cooking below. The Nalli Nihari & Paya being the all time favourite. Lovers of bara handi have to visit here to try the authentic taste of Nalli Nihari.
Enjoyed the limited menu here. No fuss, no fancy! Must visit place if you are around South Bombay and love Nihari. Highly recommend the paya soup and the Nalli Nihari that go along with the Muglai roti. You can down all of this with a thumbs up. The head chef (chacha) is a boss at doing his job! Along with his swagger game on point #hiddengem
So, we had evening plans of Nalli Nihari at the famous Noor Mohammadi, but apparently they had so many customers that they didn’t care about losing one or two to haughty attitude... the result of which we landed at the famous bara handi place down the street.. it’s a two storey building... at the ground floor was an old man sitting next to pots of boiling gravy smelling like heaven... we went up, a neat small place packed with people enjoying their meal.. my husband being an expert at this type of food did the job of ordering. No menu card was given. So he ordered pachota gravy and the evergreen Nalli Nihari... with some Kadak tandoori roti for himself and pav for me... food was served, a very decent quality... lathered with tari oil... the gravies looked the same so I thought they would taste the same too, but no... they were two different tastes and both were delicious... I am not a gravy person but I really really enjoyed the meal. There were dollops of bone marrow floating like dollops of butter. The meat tenderly cooked to perfection. The pachota was steaming hot till the end of the meal. My mouth is watering thinking about the whole experience. We even saw many foreigners enjoying the dishes and I overheard them talking about how delicious the bone marrow is. I loved it. I will surely force my husband to take me there again soon. When are we going next Naved Hussain ?

Awesome Place to visit 😍 visited this place during Ramzan and it was crowded but it's definitely worth the wait! They start serving at 9/9:15 but it's better to go a bit early to book the seat. We ordered Nalli Nihari & Sukha. Both were yumm. I would highly recommend 😍 it is accompanied with Rotis which are really fresh and yum. I would visit this place again soon! Also, this place is open all the days not just Ramzan.
We ordered Nalli Nihari, Sukha & 4 rotis . The bill came up to 530 which is quite good and it was filling too😋😋
What more u could ask for. Nihari and paaya at its best👍💯 satisfied. Must visit place. Yummufied totally 😘😘😘😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Sit outside in the busy Nagdevi Street where bikers 🚴 and cars will touch your table and pass. Things to order at this place is payaa and Nalli nihari, Sukha & Pichota. They also get tandoori chicken from other place but do not order tandoori here. Just yeh hai PAYAA PAYAA
They have great 12 handi(it could be described as spices gravy with bone marrow) and they have a lot of meat options available as well
After a long walk from Minara Masjid to Nakhuda Mahaullah you'll reach Barahandi, I tried their Nihaari (was too full to try other stuffs) it was of the perfect taste, Nihaari costs around 200rs which is enough for 2 people. Google their location by the name of "Vali Bhai Paya" for easy access as many Nihaari spots are available leading to confusion. Hope this will help.
My friend who wanted to go here from ages finally took him to this place and he said he liked it very much. My contribution was to click photos and to take him here.
A must visit during Ramzan. Try out the Nali Nihari and Bara Handi with roti. Both are delicious dishes. Value for money.
Goat/mutton paya was awesome! The old guy mixes meat, curry, lentils and oil from various "handis" to bring together a perfect goat paya! He has perfected this art of mixing over years and was extremely friendly!
Try Pichota and Nalli Nihari...Seating not good so avoid taking Family. Only recommended for Boys out.
Bara handi must be ages old but their traditional style paya, pichota, nalli nihari and sukha has never been old or changed a bit in taste.
Must try if you love nihari.
TASTE IS VERY FANATIC AND GOOD
Brilliant food. Paya and bhel with crisp, hot tandoori rotis. The taste of the marrow, the spicy tari and the softened paya ... Ooh. Ignore the milieu. Stay focused on the food.
Barahnadi stands for 12 utensils in which 12 different types of dishes(gravy) are cooked. Taste is great(according to the pricing) with over-sized tandoori rotis. Do visit if you love Nalli-Nehaari.
It's THE place to dine when you are in South Mumbai.. Very close to Crawford Market..
Taste anything and I am sure you will love it.. Competitive pricing which is not heavy on the pocket. All in all you cannot miss the food here.
