I think DP's has one of the best pav bhajis in Mumbai. The proportion of all the vegetables and spices is just amazing. Top it with cheese, and it gets even better. I had ordered cheese pav bhaji. The pav was perfectly buttered and served hot with the bhaji which was covered with melted cheese on top. One must definitely try pav bhaji in DP's.

One of the most popular joints in the city, this is a place well-recommended for foodies. It serves only vegetarian food and has an expansive menu covering Chinese, South Indian, Fast Food and Street Food cuisines. It's famous for the award winning Pav Bhaji in Mumbai. It starts operating from an early 8 AM and has a decent seating space available, apt to dine in with friends as well as family. Being close to the 2 main colleges Ruia & Welingkar, the place is always crowded with college students. I love there pani puri shots a lot nd eager to try them again

Any Local would know this place.
Date: 20th February 2020
Time: 11:00am

Just perfect💯 For early morning breakfast, all you need is decent dosa and a fruit juice

I have been visiting Dp's hotel since I was 6 years old, And now also I still walk out of the restaurant satisfied😋 It has always been a delight to visit this place or order food from here.

This place is usually packed with the college students, office employees & very decent crowd comes over there. Its crowded over the weekends and on the mornings & evening time. There are 2 seating areas to sit and they also have a separate family section

✴️Mysore Masala Dosa 5️⃣/5️⃣
One of the best places to have mysore masala dosa with butter its a treat for your taste buds ...... forget about the calorie count..... you will surely walkout with total satisfactions ....🍽️

Their Dosaes are soft, fluffy, medium sized and they are served along with Coconut Chutney, Red Spicy Chutney(sometimes) & Sambhar. 🥄It is one of the best quality of South Indian style food that you get here and their Chutneys have very deep and unique flavors. Their Sambhar is also super delicious.🍲

✴️Sada Dosa 5️⃣/5️⃣
Next dish on the order was their Sada Dosa which was very cheap price wise and I got a big portion of the dosa. Sada dosa are thin, fluffy and lacy crepes made with ground rice batter and they are very light on stomach. While the Sada Dosa was really good. 🍴The Dosa which had right amount spice, good portion size and felt like a wholesome meal.

The prices are pocket friendly and they serve absolutely authentic food
Overall, I absolutely enjoyed my entire order from here and I will definitely order or visit soon.

Seating space is quite a problem sometimes and in evenings there's always a que.

A really attractive outlet located in matunga. It's having perfect location here. The outlet is big enough and open also having good sitting arrangements. Staff is so friendly. I ordered Mysore masala dosa. It was too big in size and so delicious served with sambar and chutney. Secondly I ordered misal pav. It wasn't so yummy as it was containing some sort of South Indian taste. But overall quantity is good along with quality.

If you are a Mumbaikar who cannot live without pav bhaji then DPs at Matunga is a must try for y'all.

Located near colleges like wellingkar and ruias, DPs is your go to place to chill with your friends and grab some snacks

As it is typically super crowded I decided to order in from there

What I ordered:
1. Butter pav bhaji with extra pav: the bhaji in itself is super delicious and buttery with that perfect kick of spice in it. You can dip the pav in it or go crazy with a spoon

2. Masala pav: this was my winner for the evening. The pav is tossed in butter, garlic, chillies, onion, and bhaji. A must have for y'all!

If you're in the matunga, 5 gardens, anywhere near Ruia College or have come to see a relative in one of the hundred clinics in Hindu Colony, don't miss DPs. Durga Parmeshwari for most of us born in the 70s and 80s, this outlet has both evolved and expanded. I remember going there only for 2 things, non alcoholic frood beer(that's how we used to call it) and yes, PAV BHAJI! touted to be Mumbai's #1, you can get a variety of PBs, right from khada, Sada, cheese, Jain, Masala pav accompanied by their ever inspiring, butter dropping pav. Do try their south india fare too, but honestly, you're in Matunga.. There are far better places serving south indian.
Come here for the great service, crowd and the PAV Bhaji. Don't miss it!

DPs is one of my favourite restaurants as I have been eating here a lot since my college days. Being close to the 2 main colleges and 1 BM institute it is always crowded andainly visited by college students during the day and followed by families at night
It serves very good pav bhaji and has also been awarded as one of the best and has been voted and visited by celebrities. They serve fresh, delicious and tasty food that has won many hearts. Some of the dishes that I would recommend here are pav bhaji, masala. Pav, pani puri shots, masala Dosa, onion uttapam, pot rice, triple schesuan, and the list can go on and on
This is also the first ace that had invented Fruit beer for all non alcoholic drinkers and till date it's a hit and frequently orders to quench the thirst. So yes, if you are somewhere around Podar or Ruia college do visit this one.

Apparently they were given an award by Bombay Times for serving the best pav bhaaji in Mumbai. I must say I am not disappointed. The bhaji was so light and true to its own taste! It didn’t need any extra butter or any extra lemon squeeze to make it more tastier. It was in itself gobsmacking! Truly relished the portion, without feeling an after-meal bloat.

It has variety of food Cuisines, chinese, south indian, north Indian. My most favorite thing here is the Fruit beer which costs roughly around 25 Rs but I would say it would be the best 25 Rs spent ever.

I tried 1 DP special Pav bhaji- medium spicy, tasty pav bhaji with lots of dry fruits like kaju and badam and finally cheese. Two buttery pavs were also provided to eat gravy. 2 Masala pav- A perfect combination of buttery pav with pav bhaji gravy. It was medium spicy. Once such dish should be tried. After a lot of recommendation,I happened to visit DPS for their famous Pav bhaji. The ambience is simple and they have lots of tables. I happened to go on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised to know that all the tables were full. We ordered for a plate of Pani puri. It was served uniquely, with pani in small shot glasses. The teekha pani was made with their in house masala and had the perfect blend of spicy and tangy. It was delicious. We also ordered the pav bhaji. The quality and taste was amazing. Though,I was a little unhappy with the quantity. It wasn't sufficient enough to make your tummy full. The service on the other hand was quick and the staff was polite and friendly. Overall a very good experience. Surely visiting again.

Established in 1960s DP happens to be the place where people have lot of memories to cherish . At Ruia Katta this restaurant has seen it all. While browsing through the menu we found Pani Puri shots very interesting , we ordered it and they were amazing to the extent that we couldn't resist from ordering some more. Cheese Paav Bhaaji was indeed delicious but talking about the Masala Paav we didn't find it soothing because of the excessive tomato taste. For a restaurant more than 6 decades old it's a legacy which they have created but the major drawback could be the adamant behaviour of the staff which they really need to work upon . Considering the taste , ambience and the legacy we rate DPs as 4/5.

Dp's The Fast Food Centre located in an area where you will find most of the crowd will be students as it is near ruhiaa college.
The staff here are very polite from waiter to manager no one will have a rude attitude and so it is loved my many students.
People here come to have Dosas, juices , shakes , southindian break fast and many more.
We had a great dinner where we ordered PAN FROED MOMOS , MONGOLIAN POT RICE , CHILLI GARLIC NOODLES AND MINT MOJITO.
PAN FRIED MOMOS will cost you around ₹150 with 4 momos fully filled with vegetables served in hot pan on banana leaf with red chutney and the combination is too good. Will give a big thumpsup 👍.

CRISPY PANEER CHILLY WILL cost you ₹350 and the crispyness will make you have more and more of that with delicious fried in red chilly sauce with garlic ginger which makes it a perfect combination of Indo-China flavour. Served in the hot pan and your should surely try it👍.
CHILLY GARLIC NOODLES the price is little high compared to other restaurants but the taste is much amzaing which costs you ₹285 with a good amount of noodles toasted with some veggies and served in bowl and trust me you alone can't finish it so better have a foodie buddy along .
Toh finish a perfect dinner we order chilled MINT MOJITO which is around ₹75 chilled soda shaked with mint leaves and lemon perfectly mixed and garnished with lemon and min leaf.

We have visited this place today with my office colleagues, as the Dp's pav bhaji is one of the famous and no. 1 pav bhaji in mumbai as per the Bombay Times in 2015, i have randomly saw an video of curly tales ok YouTube about the promotion of this restaurant and unlimited pav bhaji. We found it very interesting and must try once for sure as the cost of this super delicious pavbhaji is just rs.169/-

When we entered into the hotel the staff of the hotel were very humble and kind to assist us on this offer which we got from curly tales official website. They provided us with the form which we need to fill and sign about the rules and regulations of the hotel

When we ordered the pav bhaji, we were actually very excited to have the unlimited PavBhaji in mumbai with this minimal cost. The taste of the bhaji was delicious in flavor and super creamy and spicy at the same time & pav was loaded with butter which is amul butter. The Ambiance of the hotel is quite nice and fun loving as it has indoor and outdoor sitting is available we quite enjoy having the food with such lovely atmosphere..

One place where I can safely eat Chinese without any worry about the ingredients. The staff is nice though always in a rush and a bit harried. Tell them politely and they will listen to your instructions. Also, trust the staff recommendations - they've always been great for us. The ambience is nothing to write home about - it's slightly more upscale than your local Udipi but still a good pocket-friendly restaurant.

The best place for extremely delicious and yet easy on pocket food. South Indian cuisine as well as masala pao 👌👌👌 also should definitely try the fruit beer.

DP's is one of the well-known restaurants of the Matunga area with a plethora of delicious food varieties. Tha place is worth hyped. When it comes to the taste, the place gets full grades. Apart from that, the ambience and service was also awesome as well. The tip is if you go before 12PM, you can get any South Indian dish @50/- only.

Its one of the famous place in mumbai for pavbhaji. So did we order their pav bhaji. The pavbhaji was not spicy & the quantity was good. We also ordered a fruit beer here which is again famous. Highly recommend the pav bhaji shots here, it was amazing. *Overall experience:- Food-5/5 Ambience-5/5 Service-4/5
