Hi friends I'm going to share my good experiences with you all Chinese food lovers. This Chinese restaurant is located in Bombay A.C.Market. Tardeo. Since 1972 this place has been serving us good food and has its loyal customers in and outside the vicinity. The ambience is nice and the service is excellent with their pocket friendly menu. I ordered the Coriander Chicken Soup which was superb with a perfect blend of everything. The Hot and Sour Chicken soup was also great. Then we ordered Moon Faan Chicken rice which was amazing with Chicken manchurian to go with it, which was yummy. Then we ordered Veg Hakka Noodles which was very satisfying and went well with Hunan Chicken. My friend ordered Veg Burnt Chilly Garlic rice with Diced Vegetables in Hong Kong Style which was perfectly cooked. It is a must visit for every Chinese lover and please book your table in advance as its always packed.
Its the best place for chinese food in entire India according to me. Delicious. Anything you order is so good, lip smacking, tantalising the taste buds and good service too. While I have come here number of times, have never been disappointed. Starters that we ordered were veg and chicken spring roll, corn curd and crackling spinach and veg and chicken fried dumplings . Everything was amazing. For main course, we had veg and egg fried rice and veg gravy and shredded lamb. Egg fried rice were phenomenal. We also had honey fried noodles with ice cream and vanilla with chocolate sauce. This place is to die for... I would have given this place 7 stars....

Which includes the chicken Corriander soup- a thick soup with minched chicken, egg white and corriander. 😋
This time I tried Sai woo chicken- sweet and spicy chicken starter with round balls of pure chicken on a bed of cabbage... 😋
Coming to the pepper chilly chicken- very subtle taste of pepper powder and small pieces of chicken covered with spring onions and celery and corriander😋
And yes my all time favourite- burnt chilly garlic fried rice and chicken soya chilly garlic😍

Had been here several times mostly on Sundays maybe before 3 decades like when I was 4 year old. After moving from city to suburbs haven’t been able to visit but whenever I pass by I tell my wife this is place Dad used to bring 4 of us very frequently on Sundays. Dad used to order whisky and we as kids would love the complimentary peanuts. We would have very traditional order that time. Spring rolls, Sweet corn chicken soup, Prawns fried rice, Chicken Hakka noodles. And everything was so delicious I still remember the taste. And the staff were so polite and courteous. I tired American Chopsuey for the first time at Chinese Palace. Would love to visit this place again as it has lot of memories of childhood Sunday outings with my parents. Glad to see the reviews are great still. A visit to this place would definitely be a nostalgia.

I love the Chinese cuisine, and if you ask me the best restaurant in Mumbai for Chinese, my first choice will be the Chinese palace, I visit this restaurant since an ages, I can’t name the particular item to try, I would rather say you should try each and every item on the menu.

A good place with simple but appealing decor. The red colour makes it a welcoming place. The food is affordable with really large portion. The best I liked here is crispy chicken and fish. I would surely recommend this place.

The food is excellent.
We usually order salt and pepper prawns in starters which is delicious and their seafood clear soup is amazing.
Their red pepper sauce is quite tasty.
In all it always enjoyable to come here and dine.
So this is like my uncles favorite place since yearsssssss! Like whenever he says 'let me take you to the best hotel you have to get it' 😛
So it's situated in a old commercial buildings, you have to climb the stairs to get there.
It's a old Chinese simple decor.
The staff is very experienced and good.

Nice chinese outlet... the food is above average in taste. The quantity served is good... The ambience is ok.. All the dishes are tasty. My personal favourites are crackling spinach prawns and spicy crab meat soup ( I never miss these when i visit this place)... You may want to go a bit early during holidays.. avg. waiting time is around 40 mins during peak hrs) ...

Visited this place for a birthday family dinner. Firstly the restaurant is situated at a place where it cannot be imagined that there can be a restaurant! But as you enter it’s altogether a different world. The ambience is nice. The all red decór is very unsettling but the friendly staff balances it out. The food is a refreshing change from the typical non spicy chinese generally available in South Mumbai. The spiciness and the flavor is really a welcome change. The hakka fish is really spicy and tingles the taste buds. Chicken lollipop, chicken crispy, pepper chicken is all with a different flavor. The location or ambience is not so chic but yes the chinese!

We ordered dum sum momos fried .. momos they were really nice and the material used or the quality was awesome and we orderee spicy lime noodles i must say that spicy lime noodles was real spicy he said us it will be sour and a bit spicy so we ordered but on a serious note it was really spicy ...
One thing I loved here was like any other restaurant he didn't bought everything on table and kept and went ... may be he was watching us 😅 so when we almost finished then he came and kept noodles ...

This place has now turned out to be quite a regular dining joint for me & my husband. The food quality has remained the same ever since our first visit five years back. Food recommendations - crab stewed wontons, barbecue spare ribs & fish soya chilly garlic with burnt chilly garlic noodles. Yummy!
Chinese palace is a good place to eat. Quite happy with the quality and the quantity served. Takes a few moments for them to serve but it's worth the wait. At the same time, it's not something extra ordinary and like a regular Chinese food place. I'll leave it with a rating of 3.5
Would I recommend you to visit? Yes. You should visit. Though it's not something amazing but at the same time it won't leave you disappointed.
This place brings authentic Chinese to the table. The crackling spinach and chicken is the most outstanding dish on the menu. The rest can be improved. But overall the portions are generous and there is no holding back on the varieties.@dishanagrkar

If you want to have authentic Indian Chinese head straight to this restaurant . The restaurant is located on the first floor and I have been here many times. One of the oldest Chinese restaurant in Mumbai serving delicious Chinese food.

I've grown up opposite, probably eaten everything on the menu and it's been bloody consistent for over 10 years. The portions are Fab and it's absolute value for money. The palace rice, chopsewys (American and Chinese), friend wantons, sae woo chicken, crackling spinnach chicken, burnt chilli rice/noodles, lamb in various sauces, taro nests are all delicious. The staff is courteous, their recommendations are good and it's a lovely experience
Good Chinese food option.. But have sugary taste to every item we tried.. Crackling spinach is hyped.. It is very oily.. But good to try once.. Ambience is good..

I love chinese hence decided to go here with one of my frnd who is a frequent visitor. Hands down!!amazing chinese food with quantity being sufficient for two people with quick service. We had ordered for chicken wanton which was very crispy and tasted well. Besides that we ordered for moon fan rice which without a doubt I can say one of the best non veg chinese rice I ever had. The one minus is the location , its located on first floor of a shabby building which doesn't give a first timer a positive vibe but as soon as we enter chinese palace there is a different feeling. Place is not very wow in decor but food is what I can vouch for crazy chinese lovers❤❤

A small rest located on the 1st floor of a Sad bldg makes u think twice how it would be. But at times I feel such joints are much better than the hi-fi well known hotels. I've been on restaurant exploration spree and a tiring afternoon got me here. It's inside of a building . Looks very simple, but stands out for its food.

The FOOD
For starters we had chicken with crackling spinach and sliced potato with sauce. The quantity was great. As for taste 👍👍. I'm generally not a fan of crackling spinach but this one took me away. We also had the soup. I guess this is the only Chinese restaurant in the city to give a good quantity of chicken in their chicken manchow soup. We shared it but still it was enough to make us feel full.
For mains we had paneer in Hunan sauce, kung pao chicken and schezwan rice . The quantity again was way too much that we had to pack it up but the taste was GREAT! .
For dessert we tried the honey noodles with ice cream. It just bought back the childhood memories .
You may feel the place is a bit overpriced but once you've tried their food it's absolutely worth it.
This is a really good place for all the times when you crave Chinese food. It's a casual dining place with good quality and quantity of food. The pepper chicken is a must try. The lemon chilly fish is delicious, ginger Chicken is amazing and burnt garlic fried rice is a must try. The flavors are really good and it's a great place for casual weekend dinners with family and friends.

I love Chinese palace! This place used to be a regular affair for family dinners, growing up. And I still love the food there! The quality and quantity of the food served there is still very much the same, delicious and generous, we don't visit the place often now, but we do order from there frequently, and the food is always pipping hot and yummy! My all time favourites are the spicy chicken and button mushroom starter and the chicken Palace Shanghai rice! One of the places in town which serves the best Indian Chinese, hands down!
Was here on a friday night, decor is simple slightly old but neat n clean, ordered for chicken spring rolls, chicken chilly n burnt garlic fried rice except for chicken chilly the food was good to taste, quantity was also decent, spring rolls were not very oily, but chicken chilly was a big disappointment it was absolutely hard thick chicken pieces just hell lot of soy n only soy.
If u reach after 9 u might have to wait for a place but it does nt have space for waiting so for larger groups one must make a reservation or reach early.

Chinese Palace was a pleasant surprise!
Firstly, the food came on time and piping hot! So brownie points for Chinese Palace just for that!
The Sweet Corn Crab Meat Soup was delicious. There was also generous portions of Crab Meat in my soup, which I loved!
The surprise package was my starter- Chicken Spring Rolls. Fried well, crisp and laden with chicken.
The Hunan a chicken was well cooked, succulent and well-spiced and went really well with my Burnt Chili Fried Rice which as also quite tasty. The garlic wasn't overwhelming which is exactly how I like it!
The portions are very generous and the price is also reasonable. Great Value for money and great food.
However, I wish they provided Soy Sauce with the soup and Schezwan Sauce with the Spring Rolls.
But, nonetheless, really liked the food and will definitely be ordering from here again.

Been coming here since as long as I can remember and there is no other Chinese restaurant in the city that can beat it. I could be biased coz I've grown up on this food but the flavours and the variety is, to this day, unmatched. The ambience is crisp and neat, and somewhat nostalgic for me.
Real authentic Chinese. Light for stomach, heavy with taste. Must try Malaysian Noodles and Chicken with Spicy Plum Sauce. Very rare to find such authentic Chinese.
Once again it proved that it is the best Chinese cuisine restaurant in town. All the dishes ranging from Noodles to Rice and soups to Starters are made to satisfy the taste buds and beat that hunger punch.

Have been to this place many a times. My love for authentic Chinese food ends here. Even the complimentary salad they serve is tasty. Food quantity is good. We always end up carrying parcel from the food we order. Chicken manchow soup is tasty and thick. Ambience is nice. This place is always crowded even at 11 pm it is full. First time we decided to go, it was bit difficult for us to locate the place since it is situated in a building. A very small board is displayed at the front side of the door. For all Chinese lovers, this place is a must must go specially for its soup. Can't wait to visit again.

This place is where my family has been having Chinese dinners since the 90s. I have been visiting this place since the times I used to crawl (I was 6 months old, Duh). Food is brilliant and staff is brilliant. Quality of food has been the same AMAZING stuff it was 2 decades ago. Nothing beats this place for Chinese food.
We always try out the same stuff:
Starters: Crab Manchow Soup with Drums of Heaven or Chilli FIsh
Main Course: The LEGEND...wait for it... DARY Palace Shanghai Rice with Thai Garlic Prawns .Bottom line: The restaurant is brilliant and although we've been ordering the same Dishes for the past 17 years, We never get bored of it.
I LOVE CHINESE PALACE! This place is almost like stepping back in time. Stuck, and quite happily so, in the late 80's - 90's. This place use to be a regular affair for family dinners while I grew up. Its amazing how they've kept the quality intact! Pure, unadulterated nostalgia. Its one of the BEST places in town for Chinese cuisine. Absolutely amazing food. Everything on the menu is SUPERB. My personal favourites are the wantons. They are OUTSTANDING! And of course, the Palace Shanghai Rice. SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!

The original chinese restaurant since years,used to go there often ,Staff is courteous,service is good,try cottage cheese in red pepper ,jade chicken with good spinach garnish ,burnt garlic fried rice and cottage cheese in black bean sauce and of course thier kimchi is awesome along with the 3 sauces which they give.
A small Chinese restaurant in the busy Ac Market area. Difficult to locate, but once you are here, it will not fail to disappoint. Service is quick, the staff friendly, the food nice.

Tried the Crackling Spinach Prawns for starters and Chicken Cantonese Noodles for maincourse. They were both great. 5/5 for the prawn starter. The cantonese noodles serves almost 4 people and its the best thing I ve had at Chinese Palace so far.

This is my and my families fav chinese joint .. it like v r ready for dis joint at any time .. so I ve visited dis place many a times it offers very very good food and has nvr disappointed me .. the staff is friendly they have dis shasmic toast vich takes a lil time dan usual but its a gotta try and relish recipe and their wonton, spring rolls , sai woo chicken , spinach chicken , American choupsey , their garlic prawns , their palace shangia rice.... ok to be short the food served it awesome very yummy .... so full 5 stars to dis place

Have been visiting this place since times immemorial and it neva disappoints. Not the best chinese resto in town put certainly value for money.... Good portions and good taste.. A very good option if u want to have decent chinese food that is easy on the pocket... Butter pepper garlic prawns and crackling spinach chicken are a must have.

The ambience is really good. It looked shady from the outside however when I entered in, I immediately felt like I was magically transported to China. We ordered the Chicken Din-Sun fried , Shanghai Palace rice and the burnt garlic noodles.
The Chicken Din-Sun was delicious. It has a fried crust from the outside filled with chicken mince inside. The gravy with it was perfect.
The Chicken Shanghai rice comes with gravy with small chicken bits in the gravy. It is really tasty and rice was cooked well as well.
The burnt garlic noodles was not a good choice. The taste was just wrong . I wouldn't recommend ordering that.
Had a lunch here today with office colleagues. We ordered 2 types of soups - veg & non veg, two rice dishes and 2 main course dishes again one veg and other non-veg. I was surprised by the dish size. The portions are so large that it can serve two adults and 1 child ! The taste of the food is also very nice. One of the nicest authentic chinese food in recent times !
Giving 4 stars and not 5 as we tasted only limited dishes. I hope that all the other dishes must also be equally good. I will definitely visit this place again, if i come to this part of Mumbai !

Have tried crab and chicken soup(very yumm and creamy) , pasta with chicken in white sauce, fried wantons(crab chicken fish and vegetable all are good) , spring rolls in chicken, Malaysian noodles, schezwan Hakka noodles, Hakka noodles, prawns in sweet garlic sauce(that's the yummiest).

Considering the fact that its such an old place i wasnt expecting much out of it, but to my surprise this place startled me with its quality and quantity of food.
First up, the interiors were the usual traditional indo chinese decors packed away in a small cozy place. Well lit up and makes one feel extremely welcomed.
As for the food we had ordered the crispy thread chicken and chicken dimsums
The thread chicken was crispy enough and fried to perfection with the chicken well marinated as for the dimsums it was the best ones i have ever had. They had a generous filling of chicken in them and tasted quite well with its sauce and well steamed and moist.
As for the main course we ordered the hakka noodles and fried rice with the sweet garlic gravy and chicken in plum sauce gravy. Both the gravies were quite unique in its taste and the tanginess that the sweet garlic chicken had was definitely a delight to the taste buds, plum sauce chicken tasted yummy as well.
The portions were generous and service quite good.
Definitely one of the best places to have some good quality chinese food which is rich in its taste.

Good old cozy restaurant in Tardeo for Chinese cuisine located near Tardeo AC market. Taste is excellent and expect good portions, priced quite fairly too. Quick, polite and efficient staff. Neat and quite ambience. Overall good family dining value for money experience always.
Chinese Palace is an authentic Chinese restaurant. The quality and quantity of food is good. Service is prompt. It's usually crowded during the weekend, and there is no proper waiting area. Would definitely recommend to visit this place once.
Must try - Chicken crispy rice soup and threaded chicken.

We didn’t get a chance to try a lot of things listed on the menu but what we had was delicious.
Munchow Soup (veg) and Sweet Corn (Chicken) were definitely worth trying.

The food is awesome... it's really very nice Chinese... special mention steam dim sum, chicken Thai crispy, Tom yum soup chicken , Shanghai special rice... taste is really nice and worth money.... staff is good..it's a 50 yrs old restuarant really justify it's presence... you should go and check it urself.,.
A great Chinese restaurant to visit. The best noodles i ever had. Cozy ambiance and large portions. The only problem i have is that I can’t order from zomato or swiggy or some similar app and might end up paying a lot more unnecessarily to get home delivery.

Excellent food and variety. The service also is very good. The ambiance though is a bit poor as the location is on the first floor and there are no widows as such. But the food is excellent

Old Time place with lovely food at fairly reasonable prices. Sadly their crackling spinach and chicken isn't as crackling as before. Overall good place
Went to this place for dinner for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised with the food and good portion too. We had chicken coriander soup which was a thick soup and was very filling. There was also chicken sweet corn soup and chicken manchow soup. For starters we had chicken dim sum steamed n the fried ones too. Was ok. Corn curd was outstanding. Crispy thread chicken another favorite but it's best eaten hot. For the main course we had mixed fried rice with a good amount of prawns n chicken. Was quite tasty and filling. Kung pao chicken was ok could have had some more punch. But a wee bit on the salty side. Should cut down on salt. American Chopsuey was the other accompaniment with our food. A favorite of many. A sweet and sour food preparation. Had a great time. But they must get the lifts repaired as only 1 lift works and that too a long walk to the restaurant and should allow the taxis to come to the entrance.
Well I would say good value for your money.

Try here Manchurian & Hakka Noodles and you will keep visiting this place again & again.
Also the Manchaow soup is try worthy.

Lovely place to have chinese food....delicious food....quantity is simply superb and very very very reasonably rates .I wish if they had caramel custard in their menu....And most suprising thing what i came to know that this restarunt "CHINESE PALACE" was established in year 1972. Must definitely go.....🤗🤗
If you love Chinese food then try this place, it's inside a building on the first floor they have parking place too. Food and service is awesome and you will enjoy the food.

Whilst it may appear out of place in terms of location and a whole in the wall when it comes to the ambience, the food is by far some of the best Chinese cuisine I've tasted in Mumbai. The spring rolls and chop suey is a must try.

Parking available, ambiance was also GD.
