Today I happen to discover this outlet inside a society opposite Churchgate station. It's bit difficult to find but u'll eventually reach once inside the lane.
When visiting this place I happen to know that the outlet stands strong since 24- years. You won't the flavours of Chocolates anywhere else that you get here.
They really Excel in what they do.
Some of the unique Chocolate flavours they have are :
Ra Ra Raspberry, Baby Latte, Mrs. Brown, Karma, Sweet Marine Drive, Daze if Hazel.
My most favorite was Sweet Marine Drive. Caramel patty covered with chocolate and sea salt. This feels so easy when reading but the flavors hit me so bad in the best way.
Loved the thoughts behind each Chocolate that they make.
They also take party orders and do corporate giftings.

The perfect place to rely on when you have that craving for the most delectable chocolate in town. These guys can be called the most understated connoisseurs in chocolate. The place is hidden behind at the back of a building. It was a discovery by chance for me many years ago & I’ve been one of their loyal customers since then.
The Almond Mudpie was a flavour recommended by the lady there & one bite into it made me realize the reason for the recommendation. It is my favourite chocolate of their entire menu. It has crushed almonds mixed with chocolate which tastes simply heavenly. It is followed by the Burnt Sugar Cups which has chocolate filled with gooey caramel & the Cookie crumbles; the best part of this one is that if you have a blind tasting, you’d never be able to guess that it has crumbled cookies within it. The almond, cashew, hazelnut rocks are also superb.
To summarise, its been my undisputed favourite chocolate destination since many years & I’m sure will continue to be so.
I cannot give this place anything lesser than a 5. For chocolate lovers it's heaven. You can go there for yourself or for a party order. They have a superb variety and for someone who loves dark chocolate (that's me!), It's pure delight.
Service is impeccable. Humble & adorable family run biz I guess. Must go! Must try!
We discovered this place by accident while strolling aimlessly around the Churchgate area. A small signboard with a catchy name and the word "chocolate" was enough to draw us into the wee shop at the back of the building. They have a wide range of extremely tasty chocolates which are quite reasonably priced, given the quality. An assorted chocolate box with a Pure Sin gift wrap can be a fantastic gift for any occasion.
Their chocolates are absolutely sinful. Baby brown, roses are brown, chip of the bloc and almond rocks are some of my personal favourites. Looking forward to trying other flavours.

They have a whole range of home-made chocolate flavours from Almond Mud-pie, Almond Rocks, Baby Brown, Berry Go Round, Cashew Rocks, Chip Off the Ol’block, Nuts About U, Ra Ra Raspberry, Tangerine Tango , White Espresso and many more…
The price range is very decent as compared to the quality & packaging is concerned.
I would definitely recommend my friends and readers to try an assorted chocolate box which will give them an idea of most of the variety they have to offer.
My personal favourite is Almond Rock (A must try)
Well..this place always leaves me spellbound. My day is never complete without pure din chocolates. They provide a whole range of chocolate flavours that cant be found anywhere else. If chocolate is your essence, this is the place to be. Also during my visit had a lovely chat with the lady who was kind and comical. The place was cosy and the prices are good compared to quantity. To all the chocolate lovers, this is 'the cocoon' you want to be in!

Life is short ...... thank god for Pure sin and a mouthful of gooey, chocolatey goodness :-) The way the chocolates are named and the vast range is designed to have you yearning for them - Mr. Mrs. and Baby brown, Daze of Hazel, Berry got d'blues, Baby latte, Charlie Brown (peanuts, caramel, biscuits, dark chocolate), the big O! (Orange and cranberries), What the fudge, You crack me up and many,many more - get the drift ? Walk into their tiny but welcoming outlet and try before you buy - in fact you are encouraged to sample, especially the new flavours as there is constant experimentation. My only grouse - I wish the chocolates went beyond the creamy, choc encased truffles to other more non-traditional forms but I guess focus has its plus points

Hmmm.. Can a box of chocolate be ever sinful. Maybe. Watch Chocolat – a movie with Johnny Depp and Juliette Binoche. And here, the chocolate is sin. Eating them the work of a sinner. Ultimately, the mayor of the town - where the story is based - finds himself doused and asleep while stuffing his face with chocolate in Binoche's shop window one morning - giving into all that he believes is crime – going against all he has been maligning ever since Vianne Rocher (Binoche's character) opened shop in this little French town. Well so when we hear the words “pure sin” – you might think of the many things mankind brands as sinful. And the chocolate is prime. At least in the dictionary of epicureanism.
Couched inside a modest-looking plot that houses an apartment building, on the ground floor, in Bombay, at Churchgate – Pure Sin Chocolates started as a chocolate shop almost about 20 years ago. The owner Aarti, started it as an experiment offering these small, little gifts of delight - wrapped individually in paper tied with ribbon.
The names of each chocolate, today are way funky and a demonstration of the care and particularity with which each chocolate flavour in this shop has been constructed and presented. Try Chinoz in Brown – a rich cinnamon layered variety whose taste hits you as distinctive the moment you pop one in your mouth. Or Karma – that has a bedrock of caramel and almonds all fighting for chewing space in your mouth. Berry D’Cheez is a cherry and berry flavoured gob which is quite crumbly both inside and out. Since it is sort of “winter” in Mumbai – don’t refrigerate your chocolate – since they lose their smooth melting consistency. Just keep them in a drawer and take a pick at any one whenever you desire – That’s what I do. I eat with gluttonous satisfaction – since I don’t think chocolates are the biggest sin around – to commit.
At Pure Sin – the chocolate colours have many shades and textures all coagulated into a single blob of individual truffle-like shapes. A mark of careful consideration to detail – as mentioned earlier. Almond Mudpie – is a soak in the sea-shore and the mud for your teeth.
Pure Sin's chocolates have the potential to lift you out of an ordinary mood and take you into exhilaration for that time. That’s what most good chocolate – known or not – should do.
So let not any mayor in your city tell you that chocolate is sinful. It’s a necessary sin in my opinion. The sin that most will be happy to carry out with pleasure. Charlee Brown is the company’s new entrant on its very expansive menu of chocolates. With an in-your-face peanut twang to it – again the movement of this little piece of heaven is powdery, caramely and chocolatey.
Pure Sin deserves a great score – for A) remaining in business for so long despite the storm of competition and innovation in chocolate and dessert making in Bombay, and B) for their inventive chocolates that have quality and that even Vianne Rocher (and how irredeemable her chocolate looks in the movie) touch.

I am not a chocolate fan. I confess-I lack the female quality of being obsessed by this substance and hence I think my review of a chocolate shop should count for more since I am not a gourmand but a gourmet as far as chocolate is concerned
I was welcomed by Mr Sanjay Shah into the tiny shop which he describes as a "Parlour" to savor the chocolates. Whilst I sampled the delicacies Sanjay passionately spoke about each chocolate almost as a parent describes each child of his.The shop policy is not only do they allow tasting they encourage it.
The names of these creations are rather peculiar but suit the little pieces of art that have been created...
The menu has an array of amazing flavors-they combine the usual favorites with some pretty unusual fillings. Everything that you usually find in a chocolatier is given a twist. Sure they have Almond Rocks but they also have a chocolate called Karma which is caramel covered almond rocks. Their Dark Mint Rises chocolate has a soft white center and their Tangerine Tango has real orange peel. The chocolate itself is a mix of dark and milk and isn't sweet nor bitter.
Other unusual pieces were U Crack Me Up which was a center of crushed biscuit and caramel dust covered in gooey chocolate. Chinoz in Brown is a cinnamon and coffee bon-bon. They have 2 cookie centered chocolates - Roses are Brown and Cherry which have subtle flavors and great textures.
My Favorites however were as follows

berry D'Cheez -Strawberry Cheesecake inspired chocolates...
They are a 100 per cent egg-less and they take custom orders for boxes. It's true what they say- Good things come in small packages...

After having grown up on Ooty's Kingstar Chocolates, my quest for the best chocolate shop in Mumbai had resulted in a huge disappointment. All the local chocolates I tried lacked the special 'punch' that made me go mmmmmm and eat another ten more. This was before a client introduced me to Pure Sin. Go to Pure Sin if you don't mind paying for quality. If you leave the store without tasting Berry Got d' blues - Blueberry cheesecake chocolate & September Crush- Apricot puree with chocolate cream mousse you are doing yourself a disservice.

I was introduced to this heavenly chocolates by my father when I was just 13years. Today I am 40 , yet these chocolates never stopped alluring me.

Best place for chocolates. They make lovely and delicious chocolates. They offer a huge range of variety for chocolates. The staff and the owner are really great at serving clients. Once every one should try. The taste is good for the products they sell. The quality us maintained always. Packing is great. I never hd complaints from them since the past 4 years that i have been buying from there. One might feel that they are costly but great things dont come at a cheap price.
