Never ever fails to deliver great food! Exceeded expectations. ❤️
Amazing food...beautiful ambience.....service was excellent. The risotto was just to die for.....and the flat bread pizza was so delicious!
My favourite restaurant in Bombay. Be it the food, drinks or ambience. 10/10 for Pali Village Cafe! The burrata blew me away!
“Food is symbolic of love when words are inadequate.”
.
Where : @palivillagecafee Bandra .
For : #lunch .
What we saw : A renovated beautifully done up place. Right balance of the old feel and new modern interiors. We sat on the upper loft which was classic to say the least. The service was impeccable and the food great in taste and presentation. The salads were a treat for the ones on a healthy diet. .
What we ate :
1) Watermelon feta salad
2) Flaxseed crackers with avocado dip
3) Beetroot greens salad
4) Spaghetti with prawns .
What we loved :
1) The watermelon feta was the best I ever had. Fresh with the crunch from the pine seeds
2) The crackers abs dip were called for thrice on the table. Perfect pre meal snack.
3) The Italian sauce for the spaghetti was perfectly spiced and pasta cooked the way it should be ‘al dente’ .
Until our next review
Stay tuned to
@themomstereats .
They have relocated and are now in the same place at Pali Bhavan. This lacks the ambiance that the older cafe had. The interiors are a tad boring and it is just not the same as before. The cappucino was okay (could have been better). The French Toast took way too long to arrive but was, thankfully, good. Perhaps needs a little more time to settle down.
This place has moved close by since my last visit 4 years ago. The ambience is not as good as before IMO but the taste of main course is. The mushroom risotto and fettuccini pasta were outstanding while the avacado crispy appetizer underwhelmed especially for the eye popping price. Sangarias are very well made and should be tried. The hazelnut mousse was average. A 5 star for main course but 4 for the overall experience.
This Cafe in Mumbai, located in Bandra West, is just the place you need to go to when you're in the mood for a quiet, sophisticated meal combined with some amazing wine. The cafe is straight out of a French romantic film. With the look of ruined walls, rustic furnishing, low lighting, and easy going vibe, the cafe promises memorable times. If you go during the breakfast hours, the French toast is a must-try. Order the mushroom stuffed rolls and asparagus, which go really well with the drinks that they've got to offer. Try the watermelon sangrias, an incredibly refreshing drink. The prices on the menu are more towards the expensive side but it is totally worth it.
Unashamed classy food! That's the best description of this place. No nonsense. No frills. Only classy European food. Something as simple (which makes it more complex to perfect) as a gnocchi being done with pumpkin and sweet potatoes is daring yet nailed to perfection. One of the best places you have in Mumbai.
Really tops expectations and super duper strongly recommended!
Pali Village Cafe
One of the best cafes in Mumbai ! Awesome food and great ambience. U gotta try the Herb Grilled Chicken. It's just delicious.
We ordered:-
▪️Watermelon with Feta Cheese
▪️Herb Grilled Chicken
Great Crowd & Lovely Rustic Raw Ambience to this place. Food is exotic. Great place for a date. I had a Risotto, Fresh Burrata and one more dish along with some red wine. Food was amazing. Only thing is that this place is pretty expensive.
I love this cafe. The ambiance is retro style and I love the desserts here.
The food here is very tasty. The dishes are presented in a very lavish way. The ambiance is also very aesthetic. The staff is kind and courteous.
We would happily give it 10 BIG STARS 🌟
We visited this amazing restaurant on a Saturday evening and it was packed.
Thanks to the wonderful hospitality and friendliness of the Manager Mr. Basil we were able to get a table sooner than expected.
That set the ambience for a beautiful evening.
The food is simply fantastic and delicious. Full marks to the Chef and his team.
I can safely that it is the best Italian Food we have had in Mumbai. Bravo 👏
The service by Mr. Basil and Mr. Roy, the Captain is extremely courteous, efficient and most importantly friendly.
They go the extra mile. Both are great people to meet in this fabulous restaurant. Do ask for these lovely gentlemen.
No wonder it has earned a very good reputation in Mumbai.
Special mention of the valet parking guys, they too are so kind, courteous and helpful.
We congratulate the management for running such a lovely place and keeping the employees motivated to give their best.
Will surely return very soon.
Highly recommend it to everyone visiting Mumbai.
You will love 💕 it.
Had been here on a Sunday late afternoon. Has a nice, cosy ambience. The food was very well done and the serving time was also quite reasonable. We had Grilled chicken for starters along with Veg Penne Pasta in mixed sauce and Peri Peri Lamb Stew (served with roasted potatoes). All the dishes were quite good!
This place was recommended by a friend.. Great Vibes, Rustic Charm, & Decent Food...!!! The menu has got quite a variety..Definitely A Place To Visit
A charming place with rustic decor and lovely music, which will instantly transport you to Italy. One of the finest places of Mumbai to offer fresh house made pastas and more
One of the best restaurants in Bandra. I always recommend this restaurant to my friends and family the food is lip smacking especially the dessert.
Ambience -5/5
Food -5/5
Drinks -5/5
It's a lovely place for a brunch or dinner. Please reserve a table as it's hard to get one..
Organic red quinoa salad with cranberries - my favorite dish here. I love it, have to order it each time I'm there
Caper marinated grilled prawns - well done prawns, not too greasy
Pan seared duck - one of the best duck breast dishes I've eaten so far
Dark chocolate n raspberry - just order it needn't say more
They have a good wine collection.. just in case u were looking for a place in Bandra
Top quality place with the warmest staff. The food here is so precise and joyous. It has been a favourite joint in Bandra. I am told they are temporarily shifting for renovations to happen at their old address. I hope the service and the food remain as good wherever they are based out of. Big hat tip to the chef who runs this kitchen.
Such a cozy place with antique aesthetics.. we ordered mushroom smoked scarmoza flatbread, chocolate cheese fudge, soup of the day and tortellini.. food was nothing short than fab! Especially the chic cheese fudge was outta world..Staff were courteous and the price was totally worth it!!
Norwegian Salmon with pea mash
Grilled Prawns
Watermelon Feta Salad
Sangrias
Wine list
Pannacotta
Great consistently good food
Manager is very sweet
Ambience
Love it ! been a regular since they opened in 2010
Negative
Service is patchy sometimes with some waiters a bit arrogant.
Awesome ambience. Cosy place. Great Italian cuisine. Good collection of wines. Excellent location in the heart of Pali Hill in Bandra West. I have been here several times and overall my experiences have ranged from a 4 to 4.5 sort of a rating.
Amazing ambience and more than that amazing food. They have a great menu of wines, some really good ones. However we ordered chenin blanc and as always it was a good decision. We ordered a chicken ceaser salad, spaghetti aglio olio, herb roasted chicken and spinach fettuccini. The food was super amazing and well cooked. I highly recommend Pali village cafe.
It was on my wishlist for a long time considering the raving reviews. Place is tiny with rustic decor perfect for a romantic date. Staff is warm but service is slow we had to literally call the servers everytime. We ordered for watermelon feta salad (good), coconut water mocktail (not that great), freshly made watermelon juice (okay), beetroot ricotto (really well made just loved this one), flat bread (okay) and caramel n ice cream dessert (though it looked really beautiful i didn’t like the taste).
I love PVC! I love everything about the place. The place has such a warm vibe and is iconic to Pali Hill. The basic flat bread is also delectable and flavourful. The Aglio e Olio is also consistent and is packed with flavour. Their wine is selection is also perfect. I’ve nothing to complain about this place 🙏🏻
Perfect place in the alleys of Bandra for brunch and goodbyes. Met my friend who was leaving town for higher studies. The place was slightly crowded when we reached at 3:30 PM and couldn't find a table, but the staff was kind enough to arrange for one within 15 minutes. We had ordered garlic mushroom and smoked scamorza flat bread and capellini chicken pasta in white sauce. Both the items were exquisite and flavourful. Special mention of the flat bread as it was well baked loaded with mushrooms and melted cheese! Place looks smaller as you enter but is spread across two floors and if quite spacious. Staff is friendly and very swift service. Portions size are moderate. Interiors are slightly rustic and earthy in an aristocratic way, which is probably their style
One of the classy place to visit in Pali Hill Bandra. Vintage decor, cool vibes and great food. Amazing place to visit with your beloved ones.
One of The best red wine pitcher in Bombay! Absolutely love their flat breads too! #LatePost
Their ambience is perfect to have a conversation!
Brunch @palivillagecafee ! This cafe with rustic interiors serves very nice European and continental cuisine. The delicious palate in this picture is Eggs Benedict smoked Salmon served with Spinach and potatoes. Don’t forget to check out their interesting wine menu!
This place is little pricy but if you are willing to treat yourself with one of the best European food and excellent service.
Tried their smoothies, Nutella and very berry, Nutella smoothie was too sweet but very Berry was amazing. It was very thick to pull through the straw but nevertheless very tasty
The place has a very rustic touch with great ambience and one can definitely spot celebs dining here most of the time.
I ordered their imported wine from France which was absolutely delicious and enjoyable because of its weight and brilliant acidity, which imparts freshness which they serve with a plate of different kind of breads and butter.
For starters we had crispy fries which was crunchy and crispy and soft from inside.
Avocado mousse with mixed seed crackers was smooth and chunky, just the way I like it.
Edamame and chickpea falafel was great too.
And the highlight was the parsley, capers marinated grilled prawns which had a crunchy top and tender from inside.
For mains I had my favourite chicken aglio olio and every element balanced the taste and made a perfect meal for me.
And for dessert I called for Eton mess which has meringue, cream and assorted berries which was delectable that I couldn’t stop myself from finishing the whole thing.
Loved the overall experience.
All time favorite. Nothing beats its taste . My favorite is speghetti Aglio olio with a glass of sangria . Have it and feel the heavenly taste . Its just awesome. Ensure your reservation before visiting the place. You can always spot a celebrity over there.
A great place to spend quality time with your friends and loved ones. The rustic look is taken way too seriously but it has amazing music to make you fall in love with this place. Ordered black truffle ravioli which was mouth watering and warm cheese cake😍😍😍😍 I'm sure all the dishes here are worth a try.
Amazing food. The vibe is perfect. Their flat breads and pasta is the best. The best food I ve had in Mumbai since I have been here. The staff is really polite.
Great food. Tried for the first time. Excellent staff and service ! All the best. Sides could become much better. We tried the avocado side but the dish was very plain and simple just mixed with salad dressing. Not worth it's price. the menu could be more innovative. Excellent pasta !
The moment you enter the place, you have a warm feeling in your heart. The kind that tells you that you're going to have a super relaxing two hours now. Pretty lights, rustic walls, just the right amount of green to liven up the space and a cutting chai glass holding a tea-light candle coupled with the soothing music set up the ambience for you. Wrap your hands around the glass for some warmth on a cold evening (well, as cold as it gets in Bombay) and engage into a lovely chat. The place screams "Come have meaningful candid conversations here" and for some "Come stare into the eyes of a loved one".
Getting to the food, we weren't too hungry so we just called for a risotto and couple of wines - Rose and Port. The risotto was delicious and cooked to perfection. The wine was served right with the appropriate glasses for port and rose (most places just have a standard wine glass for all). And both of them were amazing. I had the port which was not too acidic, not too sweet and super smooth with such a beautiful aroma.
The place is slightly expensive, but the experience is worth it. Try to get a seat on the ground floor though, I'd recommend. And make sure you save up to you take your husband or boyfriend to this place.
#EatSipBurp
Went there after dinner so just had coffee( Americano and latte) and also mango sorbet. Everything was great..upto the mark.
Really tempting menu...would love to come here again sometime soon for breakfast or lunch!
Great service!!
One of the best pasta I have ever had! The feel of the restaurant is really rustic. The portion size is good too even for their beverages. Really enjoyed the hot chocolate!
Haven't been to a place like this in forget Mumbai but India before. Pali village Cafe has an old world charm to it with exquisite food options to choose from. Starting from their grilled chicken served on the bed of soft potato mash to the crackers with creamy guac dip, the OH SO RICH AND TASTY truffle risotto (our personal favourite) and the beautifully plated watermelon and feta salad. We absolutely couldn't stop ourselves from gorging on their glorious food. Not only this, we feel that this place is a an ideal place to have conversations. The music isn't too loud, and with so much variety of food and drinks, you could pick a cosy corner and sit here for hours and hours. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience over here and we were absolutely lucky to find a table over there on a Sunday afternoon considering that the place is mostly packed. Would love to visit this place again for more of their yummy food.
Cool vibes, rustic charm, great food! Been here twice and have loved every single creation and the entire experience. Has the feel of a rustic cafe somewhere in the Tuscan countryside. And the creations do the decor justice. On my last trip, had the truffle burrata for starter. Fresh, creamy and light, with the magic of fresh black truffles ... on point! A kinda fusion dish that had nutty quinoa on top of a delicate pumpkin sauce, with a layer of wilted spinach and toasted coconut that gave it a French-Asian feel. The beautiful pannacotta was jiggly, mild and light with a citrus purée, providing balance.
Terrific, terrific stuff!
P.S. Only one feedback for the management - couple of the waiters over the two trips were not well aware of the menu or the nuances. That could be looked into.
The interior is very innovative as it’s in Desi style.Something new compared to the places that are around us today. Its a really good place for coffee and deserts.I had gone for my cheat day and it turned out to be a perfect one. The presentation is really fine and nice.
The ambiance of this place is rustic and worn out, yet somehow the most romantic dinner places I’ve been too. Easily my new favourite, great place to go with your partner for a casual date, grab a glass of wine and a bowl of pasta, and there you have the perfect night.
Food was really good and tasty, duck breast is a definite must. Deserts were amazing especially the panna cotta. Decor can definitely do with an upgrade especially the inside.
I had a Date night at #palivillagecafe Bandra.
Their Service, ambience & food were impeccable. Do try Vanilla scented panna cotta , it’s amazing 😋. If you are searching for a place to go with your baby and enjoy great service & music, this is the place to be! I would recommend Pali village cafe for a date night or night with ur friends !

What to say and what not to say!!
Whatttaaa place
Not tried alot of food
Just the organic pasta in white mushroom sayce and what a yumzaa deal it was never had a better pasta everrr! Though it was 1 pasta for 1000₹ plus tax thats an expensive deal
But the deal was the sangrias
What thing
Never had any better in the whole wide world
I tried all the five sangrias and for my surprise peach one was the most delicious one ever
Try again for the sake of sangria a hell yes
Love the authentic look this place has .. not too crowded with low key music and dim light in the background is perfect for catching up with friends or for date night as well..
For wine lovers this will be the best place to go to , they have amazing collection with great fusion of Sangrias ..
We ordered~
Blush & Berry wine 🍷
Chicken Pepperoni flat bread
Spaghetti 🍝 Alio Olio
Banana Caramel Pie 🥧
The presentation for each dish is on point, along with delicious bread basket & cheese dip !
Service was quick making everything perfect
Recommended .. 👍
Really like the rustic decor that gives this place a nice, vintage and stylish feel. The food isn't something that would ever disappoint you. We ordered the avocado mousse that comes with some nice flaxseed crackers, the asparagus and mushroom stuffed aubergine roll and that flat bread with pumpkin, kale and goats cheese for starters along with a few sangrias. For mains the pastas were all sumptuous and delicious. Ended our meal with a few desserts and we weren't a tab bit disappointed!
The vintage, rustic ambiance of this cafe brings me back here constantly. The food is utterly delicious too but I visit here often due to the old world charm for the most part. It gives me inner piece. The place is tailor made for those looking out for a calm dinner. Talking of food, what I find most appealing are the flat breads, the thai coconut water, the fettuccine, aglio olio and ofcourse the watermelon feta salad. None of these will disappoint you.
This place is just perfect, anything would be an understatement. Its definitely in my top 5. The ambience is impeccable. The food is very very good. The staff is polite and heed. Its not very pocket friendly but worth every penny.
Among the best rated and sought after restaurant.. #palivillagecafe had always kept me interested mostly for the old world charm that the front facade portrays and to further enhance it the projection of old black and white feature films - a combination that people like me 30 something and an Architect would cherish...
The occasion being mother-in-laws birthday and the recent happy outing to Pali Village Cafe made us come here again.. this was my first time here though..
The ambience of the PVC will take you back in time with walls waiting to tell you the narrative of the time once when maybe the house stood tall among the few in this side of Mumbai..
I joined in a bit after everyone was seated and this for an opportunity to quickly glance around the place while looking for my folks.. the entrance, the old school corner details, the wooden stairs.. everything just made me feel nostalgic ; each element bringing an association with it..
We were seated in the upper section .. again the walls had kept as is.. With odd reminder of its past owners.. the lights/lamps too looked its part and further enhanced the look and feel of the restaurant.
Coming to food we tried watermelon with feta cheese, crostini, spaghetti with red sauce, aglio pasta, beet risotto and grilled chicken.. food was really good and the service too was helpful and polite. The risotto, grilled chicken and watermelon with feta cheese were my favourite.. Each had its unique taste and texture with enough contrast to make the palate happy.
We were with our #littleM and the fact that the restaurant was child friendly and allowed kids in the evening was encouraging. #littleM was on her high chair relishing the soups and bread sticks on the table.. And the fact that she ate post her dinner was a pleasant surprise..
The valet were helpful making sure the patrons cross the busy street of Pali Naka and were seated in the car..
Overall it was really good to have had spent mother in laws birthday here and the food and ambience were a great setting for a good family outing..
I having had written this review would sincerely want to request the management to keep a check on the upholstery of the chairs..I personally hated the fact that there were stains on few chairs while the other were torn
Classy vintage beautiful decor creates a cosy ambience the moment u stet in here.
You get most varieties of wine here n cocktails based on wines. In food they have some wonderful pasta n a must is their grilled prawn. There aren't many food options though.
Perfect for a date evening, but not apt for a friend's gathering.
Pali Village Cafe is amongst my favourite places to eat at in Mumbai. That's purely down to the consistently great experience delivered by the establishment, always.
They have a good selection of wines and an excellent set of wine based cocktails (Sangrias etc.), which set the stage for the great food on offer. My favourite order there is the Spaghetti Aglio E Olio with grilled prawns on the side. Every Prawn preparation at Pali Village Cafe stands out for me, personally, because of the way they grill their prawns - absolutely perfect.
The ambience is easy going with hints of what used to be at this location before Pali Village became hip.
A must visit for a chilled out evening over some nice Wine/Sangria and delectable food.
One of the classy places in bandra. Lovely ambiance, classy crowd and really interesting menu. Tasty food. Totally recommend for a date super cool place.
Hands down to this place! This place has a rustic feel and the dimly lit place is a perfect setting for a date! They have a great collection of wines. Food wise, unbeatable. I always have their chicken flatbread and ravioli! Highly recommended.
This place has really gorgeous and archaic interiors and it’s so hard to take eyes off their wine collection. Visited with a couple of friends and the vibe was perfect to catch up after forever.
Ordered the watermelon & feta and the black truffle risotto and it was both delicious. It’s gorgeous how they have a very niche menu and really nice things that do not form a part of your routine delicacies. The staff was also super friendly and efficient with real quick service. Also ordered their potato mash and one can never really go wrong with it.
We tried out their berry and peach sangrias and they were gorgeous as well. I was sold to their wine collection and the ambience. A perfect place for a dine in or a date.
I made a reservation through Zomato for 2 and had to update it to 3 and the restaurant was really very cooperative on that front and also in holding the table for a little longer since we got delayed. Excellent service and food that I would definitely go back to for more since I missed their desserts after being too consumed by the appetisers and mains itself 🙈
An amazing place to take your date to in Bandra. Beautifully lit and romantic with a decent collection of wine - both domestic and international. We had the grilled prawns and chickpea and edamame falafel, both of which were very well made. For main course we had Bhetki which tasted amazing. Lovely quiet place to spend and evening.
Top 3 of Pali Village Cafe:
1. Ambience (amazing vibe)
2. Baker Philly cheesecake (its soft, perfectly baked and HEAVENLY I must say)
3. Spinach fettuccini (might not be the best pasta I’ve had, but surely tasteful and different)
3 Don’ts:
1. Signature sangria (It was bitter and lacked the juicy, sweet taste that sangrias are known for)
2. The mushroom risotto (a little bland and slightly dry)
3. Falafel and chickpea appetiser (The sauces served with it could be slightly better)
**Brunch menu looked great but the place is slightly over priced.
I am big time foodie, I wish I would have met this place first, I am soo love with this place, my parents love the ambience and the food,
We r pure non vegetarian.. the love of the chicken soo spicy and juicy I am loving it..
the service was super good
The food was amazing I hope I can celebrate my coming up birthday
Hope to see u soon
Thanks and keep making yummy food
Love the chicken more
Beautiful restaurant with some amazing Italian food. The ambience is rustic but very warm. The food and service is excellent. We usually go for the flat breads+pastas+quinoa cranberry salad/watermelon feta salad. Would surely recommend going here.
A lovely place where you can sit for hours even without realizing that you have spent hours there. Has good old rustic ambience and a lovely blend of Jazz music playing throughout the day. The food is delicious and loved the initial breads and butter platter. Would definitely go there again and also recommend to others.
I accidentally visited the place , but the experience was amazing 👌
Specially if you are a wine lover this place is for you 👍🏻 finest #winecollection
#candlelightdinner one of the rarest places in Mumbai where candle light dinner is served . One projector with charlie chaplains videos , music 🎶 is good service is fantastic 👌
Food tastes good but nothing extraordinary in it , I’m giving 4 stars for the experience and ambiance food is very expensive and not really worth it .
But its in my #thingstodoinmumbai list as the overall experience is worth it everyone should try this place one specially for a #romanticdinner ❤️
Stylish place with some incredible food and cocktails!
The atmosphere was really buzzing, and everything we ate was delicious. Lots of great veggie options and the cocktails were a mix of unique and classic.
Would fully recommend
Great place for a quiet dinner. Amazing food and great service. Courteous staff.
We had the truffle risotto and the watermelon feta salad (as you can see we couldn’t resist it before clicking a photo!)! The chocolate mouse was delicious as well (as you can see we couldn’t even take a photo of it!)
The place has its own charm, cool, calm, nicely done. Went for brunch, nice ambiance, good music and good vibe.
The menu is great, staff helpful and quality of dishes is outstanding. Though it takes a while to get our food served, but it’s worth the wait. Overall, great experience.
I was taken here by a friend recently and had a wonderful experience. The menu is wide and varied, as is the drinks list. We tried the rose wine sangria - delicious. The fresh mango salad was crisp and juicy, preparing my palate for the duck. Flourless chocolate cake to finish off a stylish meal.
We sat upstairs, which is tranquil for easy conversation. The only reason I have given atmosphere four stars and not five, is because the wooden steps are highly polished and it is possible to slip.
Really cute place. Loved the interiors. I went there in the afternoon and we sat there for a considerably long time. The staff is poised, not at all pushy.
I didn't have an entire meal but I've had much better hot chocolates at places I've payed lesser for one.
The pretty interiors and the lovely jazz in the background made up for it.
Would definitely visit again to try other things before judging this place
A lovely and cozy space to indulge your palette in delicious Italian food. The mellow ambiance of the cafe makes it even more quaint and charming and an ideal spot to have a nice time with a friend or a date. I really enjoyed my sangria which went well with my pumpkin and sweet potato gnocchi.
Its lovely place to delicious Italian food. The mellow ambiance of the cafe makes it even more Beautiful. The menu is wide and varied, as is the drinks list. I recently visited Pali Village Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by the great service and delicious food. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The portions were generous and the flavors were complex and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and I could tell that the owners truly cared about their customers. I would definitely recommend this Cafe to anyone looking for a great place to eat.
Love love love everything about this place. The food was awesome and so is the ambiance. I have ordered Avacado chat and charcoal sweet potato. It was amazing 🤩
