Had one chicken cutlet & one chicken biryani.
Chicken cutlet was crispy from outside & smushy tender from inside.
Chicken biryani had one half egg over it.
The combination of white rice & chicken piece with masala was a good one.
Prabhat has lived for a long time on those busy streets of Dadar West. This place was always my favourite for their Chicken Tandoori. The mayonnaise like chutney they give as accompaniment with the Tandoori is just heaven. Also, its a great place for Chicken Kheema Patties.
Lovely Chicken! Properly and fine cooked Chicken. Chicken Lollypop, Butter Chicken and Egg Curry are best dishes here. Food quality is best.

Packaging💥Atleast chicken lollies should be packed in Alu.Foil and shreeded chicken in a plastic container. Though instructions were given but not followed. It seems the staff is very busy.

A Food corner with decent food, mostly non-veg is better here. very close by to the sea. Amazing location, will recommend this place for sure.
I paid a visit here today; tried their Chicken Mayo Rolls, Chicken Tikka Sandwiches, and Chicken Lollypops. The lollypops were delicious, and worth the money. The rolls were filled with delicious (but sweeter mayo, which some may not like), and the Tikka Sandwiches were filled nicely with sufficient chicken portions but not great in flavours. All-in-all, a decent and affordable place to try out some poultry based dishes, if one's around Shivaji Park.
Perfect place to get good quality meat and eggs. Also their appetizers are good like meatballs, burgers and chicken Pattice. You even get jumbo eggs here. They are affordable as well.
The place is meant to primarily provide raw chicken products (whole chicken, pre-cut, etc) and they have a small kitchen that prepares snacks and other meal items. They also have frozen seafood items such as basa, pomfret and even crab, too, along with ready-made spice mixes for chicken and mutton preparations. Being a takeaway-only outlet, it's strongly advised to bring your own containers for the gravy items such as butter chicken or chicken masala.
Personally, the spice in their gravies and biryanis is just about right for my taste. Moreover, the price is much lower compared with other typical restaurants.
My most favourite evening snacks restaurant. So delicious chicken patty , meat ball , chicken lollipops. I love biriyani of this restaurant. Most striking factors of differentiation is so value for money , quickest delivery, best hygiene food , so delicious. Unmatched quality . They will never disappoint you . Count on my words of experience.

There is no seating place available and most of the items in the menu are frozen foods.
We have tried the Chicken Biryani, Chicken Shammi Kababs and Chicken Seekh Kababs. While the Kababs were tasty, the Biryani was strictly okay and not up to the mark.

Visited this place many a times,especially for the patties . every time I visit my aunt,s place I make sure et something or the other delicious food . In love with the chicken pattie its super yum. Had chicken sandwich n the lollipop which was fine as well.
Picked up chicken boneless biryani, chicken kheema mutter, chicken bacon rashers and puranpoli.
A few relatives were coming over for lunch...everyone found the food tasty and I found it well priced and such an easy option when you don't want to cook at home or have guests coming over.
Moderately spiced and Well cooked...we enjoyed our lunch. Must visit if you are in the area of shivaji park or if you are passing through it.
Most famous for their cold cuts and ready to cook meats this restaurant also serves some pretty decent on-the-go food . The service is quick but most items are out of stock by evening . The pricing is very reasonable and open parking is available in the restaurant lane .

Chicken burger : slightly above average I would say . Nothing great about the burger but it was quite filling.
Chicken meatballs : the star of the menu .. this one was probably the best item that I tried.
Chicken mayo sandwich : the best part about this sandwich was that the Mayo inside the sandwich was at the perfect temperature. Not many restaurants are able to serve it right . 4/5 to this one.
In my 1 year stint in Hyderabad, other than a few rare instances, I never really liked the Biryani! A major part of the reason for that was the Biryani that I have grown up eating here!
Their Chicken Biryani is to die for and is perfect for House Parties! They also have some fab Kheema Pattice and Meat Balls!

Prabhat is a well known place for raw chicken in Shivaji Park area. Located near Mayor house and chowpatty, it is also very famous for its Biryanis which they prepare for party orders.
I had ordered it once and I remember that Biryani to be very nice. However, I've heard from my friends that it has recently lost it old taste.
I'm writing this one regarding my recent visit in which I discovered how great option Prabhat can be for the small and yet tummy filling snacks.
Apart from their primary menu, Prabhat also offers variety of deliciously cooked side orders which are available at very reasonable rates.
I'd recommend everyone to try their kebabs and sandwiches if you are ever to visit their place.
I had meat balls, Lollipop and a chicken sandwich and it proved out to be enough for my brunch.
Chicken Sandwich is made with tasty, soft chilling fillings with 2 fresh sliced of bread without any other garnishing attempts and it manages to taste 'yumm'.
If you are ever wandering around Shivaji Park and hungry for a meal, I'd suggest that you check out this place.

This is a place where you get the most fresh and great quality raw chicken. I drive down to dadar only for fresh and quality chicken. They open at around 7.30 and the queues even ar that time indicates preference of people. I have tasted their biryani and it was good too. Although they are not a restaurant they also have other varieties albeit limited. However , main business is selling raw chicken and very fresh one at that. Full marks for that.
It is basically a poultry shop that also serves precooked snacks. Great place to grab a quick bite. The food is good and the portion size is also good. You may not find a parking space which is a downside.There is no seating arrangement here. Biryanis and other bulk orders are made on pre-order basis. Food and poultry is worth the buck
This is the place you need to go for all your poultry (chicken) needs. I go there especially for the chicken biriyani, which i rate as one of the best in Mumbai. But this apart, they have other yummy snacks like chicken lollipops, mutton pattice, meatballs and sandwiches.

Been visiting Prabhat since childhood. Whatever you get here is top quality. The biryani is tasty and the kheema pattice is a must have. The poultry products are fresh. Best for quick bites and takeaway.
Best chicken biryani and chicken rolls ..... im a big foodie and try food at all different kinda joints but this one is awesome the best i have had in India atleast till date!!!
This place is one of the best poultry sellers in Mumbai. They have amazing pre- marinated boneless chicken which can be used for barbecue or for pan frying.
They have the yummiest chicken biryani I've ever tried. I go there to buy chicken on Sundays and the chicken biryani is so irresistible that I can't stop myself from buying. They also have very tasty meat balls, kheema patice and chicken lollipop. Chicken mayo sandwich is nice for a quick bite while you wait for your chicken to be packed!

Well after reading fellow foodie arpita menons review n collection of the best biryanis in Mumbai. ....featuring prabhat was news to me as not even in my wildest dreams I could have known that prabhat who primarily sells raw chicken sells biryani too .....
So I went ahead n got it .....n instantly fell in love with it .....
It truly had layers of flavour ! Not like the others who actually just use it as a marketing tactic. ....
It had Boneless chicken/ boiled egg /fried onions /cashews / Coriander / mint / kewda /rose water /cardamom which all together gave this humble offering a elevated and layers of flavour .....
And all this for just Rs 120 /- including tax !!!!!!!
I mean really ??!!!
It's a steal in this price .....
All other biryanis I have had under the rs 250 price bracket are lacklustre in front of this !!!
Be it charcoal / red charcoal / indus opus / box 8 etc etc

Too much mayo and less of chicken. The mayo however was not too rich so was manageable. A little bit of chilli required.

Full of flavour. A bit dry but will do good with some green chutney or even the tomato sauce. Heat it a bit before eating.
Chicken Keema Pattice - 4.5/5
This is one of their main products. It is goooood. The outer layer could be cooked a bit more. Eat it hot to really enjoy it.

Biryani is a crazy thing, makes you always want more of it and so, after a long sojourn here I was. Reviews were enticing, photos even more exhilarating and none of them excite to deceive - chicken biryani is one of the best I have eaten in Mumbai. It has the right amount of masala (neither overdone nor underdone) with crisped onion to go along with a boiled egg and perfectly cooked rice - all of them come together to give a fulfilling taste especially with a lot of chicken pieces intermingled in between. Even the chicken kheema pattice in its circular shape encompassing one of the tastiest and juiciest kheema ever - appetizing the mouth for the biryani to follow. Overall, its a delight to be eating food from here at decently cheap prices too and the biryani and kheema pattice make it worth the effort to go there to collect the food.

Prabhat is one of the best poultry shops around dadar..the shop is very clean .The chicken of all varieties is always fresh and tender. Apart from this they also have a delicious preparations which are undoubtedly yummy!

Surprise guests shows at your doorstep and they are non vegetarian. Prabhat is the place you will go to. Biryani and starters are of choice to takeaway. Veg Biryani is also available but its basically a non vegetarian joint..... so its not that good.
A chicken from Prabhats is easily distinguishable by its texture and taste. The quality is way above average. I have a cousin who claims she can distinguish between a Prabhat chicken and a chicken from elsewhere, just by tasting it. I would highly recommend their roast chicken and the garlic mayo (tastes like Lebanese Toum). Call them to enquire about availability. Once you eat the roast chicken it is so tough to stop. Their biryani was not too memorable for me, but maybe you may like it.

Prabhat poultry is an Institution or rather a chick-en-stitute! A humble startup which started from the ground floor of a Art Deco building at Shivaji park is today a well known place for all things chicken. Somewhere in the late 90's the guys at prabhat started dabbling in biryani's and snacks made from their own chicken. Some okay, others good and then one or two great! My pick here is certainly the chicken kheema Pattice. Well spiced and enveloped in a potato jacket then crisply fried to golden yellow. These pattices are addictive! And cheap enough to get addictive so beware! The biryani is not bad lightly spiced with a hint of crisped onion and a boiled egg it's a nice light biryani that does not linger in your system too much!
I've picked chicken kheema, sausages and what-have-you from here for a long time. Just never got to picking up their prepared foods. I guess it might have something to do with the smell of a poultry (well, thankfully, not the live chicken) around cooked food.
Arpita's review pushed me to try. I picked their Junglee chicken, chicken tikka sandwiches and the chicken biryani.
The sandwiches are ordinary. Lean on the filling. Just simply - whatever.
The biryani is definitely much better. A single portion of the biryani has a large leg piece of chicken, half a boiled egg and fried onion for garnish. A reasonable portion of biryani, really. Not fantastic, but reasonable for a random biryani craving.
At 100 bucks for a good portion is it excellent VFM, especially if you have a party at home and need a bulk filler. They sell by the kilo as well, so try it once.
Prabhat poultry has been serving its loyal clients for more than 20 years and must admit they are doing an excellent job...the place is run by mhatre family and have their poultry located at alibaug...the place is primarily known for its raw chicken cuts as well as their cold cuts and also eggs...they also serve chicken biryani for rs.100 which is sufficient for 1 person...the biryani is really good with less spice and less oil so makes for a good healthy option...they also have chk meat balls and chk pattice which are just superb...they also make puranpoli and karanji which are decent...they have started selling sea food which are really good...do drop in for a quick bite as its cheap,hygienic and value for money.
Prabhat is the perfect place to run to for takeaway starters and biryanis if your guests drop in for a surprise treat. Prabhat's makes one of the finest chicken kheema patice; golden discs taut with a tasty kheema filling are yummy and irresistible. They also have great meatballs and it takes loads of willpower to stop popping them in your mouth once they're in front of you. Prabhat has a decent boneless chicken biryani too.
Picked up Chicken Boneless Biryani from here. Nice tasted. Well balanced. Since I cant handle spice, it was perfect with good amount of chicken pieces. It was hot till I reached home, 45 mins to be exact. Their chicken sandwiches and rolls are also good. They do sell ready to eat gravies like Chicken tikka masala amongst others.

While this is primarily a poultry to buy your chicken (uncooked) from, its also a great place to pick up Chicken Biryani! They sell smaller portions in foil containers but its always a better bet to drop off a handi and get them to layer the Biryani straight in that. Definite taste difference.
Lip-smackingly good biryani - a spicier version with birista (fried onions), cashews, boiled eggs and generous pieces of chicken. Their chicken balls are seriously good appetizers though their Tandoori or roast chicken is not quite upto the mark. The other thing to pick-up from here is their Puran poli - good stuff !
Lots of chicken varieties in very well maintained and clean shop. They have their own poultry near Alibag and very fresh tender chicken 🍗 and its portions are available daily. Usually seen rush on Sundays.
Their ready to eat chicken delicacy is really popular and delicious... just 👅 yummy
Prabhat Poultry is a fairly good resource for buying chicken and chicken products (fresh and packaged) at prices more reasonable than other stores. They are, however, possessors of upper lips stiffer than British nobility, and can sometimes come across as too direct in a customer-oriented age. Also, digital payments are often not accepted ("UPI server is down" is the usual refrain) and hence a gamble. Please take enough cash with you.
This is a place me and my family have been visiting more than 25 years.They have the best chicken available that you can come across. The chicken pattice, mayo chicken sandwich and the chicken biryani is absolutely fantastic. They have always provided good service. Definitely a must visit place.

I am the customer of Prabhat Poultry, Shivaji Park branch for years and I must say all your chicken products are on par with any top companies of the world. Infact, my family refuses to eat chicken or chicken products if they r not of Prabhat Poultry. I don't need to say anything more. Infact my whole family including my brother, parents & other cousins who stay at Hindu Colony r the clients of ur Shivaji Park branch.However, I have observed that one of ur staff wearing spectacles is extremely rude with the customers and behaves as if he is doing a great job by selling the products. Ur young cashier will tell u his name as he has refused to divulge his name. It seems he is taking some bribe from some clients when selling chicken curry pieces. I had come today to buy 5 kgs of curry pieces.At first he agreed to sell but when some 'known customer ' came , he to buy the same item, he refused to give me 5 kgs. And offered me 2 kgs instead @ When I argued with him he raised his voice unreasonably .
Sir, this is not expected from a sales person. I have a feeling that he is taking some 'under arm" payment from some customers known to him. His behavior was extremely rude. On Ultimately one lady intervened and the matter was solved.
Sir ,I was refused 'curry pieces' at 8 am on Sunday .Was told that they r finished !! But today, I was the first customer at 7.30 AM !!
Kindly take a note of it and take appropriate action action this staff.

A very good outlet for primarily buying poultry products like raw chicken, eggs, etc. They also sell pre marinated chicken, as well as frozen prawns and fish. They have another section (within the same premises), where they sell ready to eat sandwiches, meatballs, Biriyani, etc. Products from both sections are great, and the place is hygienic with friendly and fast service. Would definitely recommend their services.
