Ratna palace is located in matuga. it's a restaurant and bar. I prefer to order food from here. I love their butter chicken. They have 2 options for butter chicken half and full. Half is suffiecient for 2-3 people. I also like their chicken tandoori. Chicken tandoori was so juicy.
I also ordered chicken handi and chicken manchurian.

This is a typical bar but to my surprise they serve some great food here. Not gonna lie but here food is just awesome. You should surely try Chicken Tikka Masala and any Mushroom dish here. Also, this bar is open till late night.
Ratna Palace is located just opposite to Hotel Sheetal. It is a typical restaurant and a local bar. It is actually very crowded at night everyday. The staff is very friendly. The ambiance is same as every local bar out there. I tried ordering from this place and the quality of the food was over my expectations. Chicken Alishan Kebab is the best thing to have here. Also, Mushroom Masala is phenomenal too.
Amazing food... They serve amazing south Indian dishes and sea food and Panjabi dishes.

Have never visited this restaurant, but have ordered for home delivery many times. Recently we ordered for chicken tandoori, sukha kheema and chicken biryani. The chicken tandoori is highly recommended of this place. Full of flavours, juicy and fresh, deeply marinated. The sukha kheema was also nice, minced mutton having good flavours. The biryani was decent.
The food quality is very good. The service is also good. The fresh food is served. If any complaint regarding food they don't charge in bill or immediately replace with another dish of your choice. They don't provide home delivery even at Shivaji park

this is a very good place for chinese food...specially the nonveg food..and the taste and quantity is also too good as per the rates..specially the butter chicken from here is awsome!!...

great for party. good ambience. ac and non ac available. every dish here is of good quality. be it starters, main course or indian breads. mine favo dish here is chicken makhanwala/ Butter chicken. Butter roti here is best i ever had in any restaurant. hard drinks are costly though.
It's a regular bar but they have a different section for families if any visit. Their sholey kakabs are really good and big!! Tandoori mushrooms and baby corns were good too!! Nice and friendly staff.

I've never really dined/drank at this place but the food that I've always ordered has been great! One of my friend's once said that bars like these have the best food. And Ratna Palace is one of the best examples of that statement.

- Chicken Masala
- Chicken Live Masala/Fry (Strongly recommend)
- Butter Naan (soft, nice and buttery)
1. Location: Just in front of Matunga station.
2.Food: Only thing good about this place is delicious food. We ordered:
a. Chicken Chilly: Not good... it contained too much of vinegar.
b. Chicken Lollypop: Good as usual.
c. Chicken alishan Kebab: A must try dish. The pieces simply melted in mouth and the spices were perfect.
d. Chicken biryani: Also very good.
e.Chicken Seenkh kebab: Good.

4. Ambience: It's a regular kind of local Bar. The sitting arrangement is very cramped.
Verdict: You can try this place for its food.
Food ! Well chicken tikka . Rashmi kabab. Prawns fry. And chiken boneless biryani. And the best butter chiken :) I love it the most . And enjoy having it there with friends . Close to my house and severd the best :)

So that place where you do not go and eat being a bar but you love its food. Only thing that i order and love is their chicken tandoori.
Juicy tender chicken. Yummy in my tummy! Some drinks and this tandoori as sider equals night made.
I don't know the service standards nor the ambience but the rating totally goes for the tandoori.

The chicken is so juicy, the masala is so good, is grilled perfectly!
Cheap drinks. Good starters. Should try their mutton kheema with drinks, which is made very dry and perfect. We also had chicken tikka which was too good. Always crowded with local people.
Good place for a drink, they serve lp beer here as well, sea food is fresh and snacks really good. You will find groups that are regular here.
The staff is good, some a bit spaced but all good in my books so far.
When the bar shuts you can try some amazing kulfi from a local cart guy that waits near the signal every night.

This was my friends choice he took me to this one on a Thursday night for his new job celebration, initially i refused as the place looked quite small however it had ac and non ac accommodation , i found the ac accommodation calm and soothing to my mind . We ordered beer , breezer and chicken crispy . Chicken crispy usually seems very oily and has a crisp taste , but i found this one quite different and good taste , quantity for two people was quite filling, we had it full and enjoyed, since we had to take dinner at home we ended up very soon , overall i liked the place and would recommend all my friends.

Most of the customers in Ratna palace are regular.
Even if the smoking is not allowed inside, there is a space inside near kitchen where you can go and smoke.
Overall it is not a place where you would come a long way to visit. But, definitely a place to chill if you live in Matunga west.
And yes. you should definitely order neer dosa here.

The perfect place to go to with your college friends who don't want to spend much but drink and eat a lot. The food here is excellent too and the service is pretty quick.
Don't go by the funny cheap way they have displayed their hotel name at the entrance. It's one hell of a place and you're bound to sit around some wannabe MLAs who keep talking baseless things around you after they are in high spirits which is fun to hear. Recommended for the college guys who want some yumm food and chakna with some reasonably cheap drinks!

Oh.. and I was told by a friendly patron that their Khichdi is like a risotto with masala. At first I thought he was drunk out of his mind, but after a taste test.. I have to agree with that fine gentleman.
A good place for home delivery only....yummy food!!! Delivered always in time...Chicken 65 is a must try!! Always stick to the non veg indian dishes!!!!
I’ve come to realize that the suffix “Palace” in Mumbai generally indicates that the establishment is principally a bar and incidentally a restaurant. But RP does well as a restaurant too. It offers decent North Indian and Chinese cuisine. I am quiet fond of their Chinese, their Schezwan fried rice is dryish and spicy whereas their schezwan, manchurian and chilly gravies are nippy too. I’d recommend their chicken lollypop if you’re gonna eat it right there (rather than reheating later at home). They home deliver too.
Ratna Palace is a very typical Bar and restaurant with your Ac and Non-Ac sections where you can order pegs of drinks or quarter bottles. But what ranks this place apart is their food. The non-veg at this place is fantastic. From the usual Chicken Tandoori and chicken tikka, some unique starters are the apple Chicken, similar to chicken lollypops but with a little chili garlic gravy. It's a fabulous dish and prepared just perfect, a little spicy, a little tangy.
For mains order the chicken suka, a dish that is grassed with a delicious coconut sukkah gravy. Something to keep in mind Ratna palace is also an excellent place to order take away, the service is fast, the quantity is great, be it gravy or biryani.
I would avoid the fish dishes here; we had ordered some Madali Fry, not too great. I would stick to fish only to places that specialize in seafood.
