Golden Star serves good food at a great price. I decided to take mum, dad here on the way home from Colaba. The Gujarati thali comes with an assortment of dishes, couple of types of lentils, a few different types of bread (roti, bhakri, puri, etc.) along with papad, pickles, salad, samosas and two types of desert. There is no limit to how much you can eat, they portion sizes served are small but enough in quantity + variety to fill you up. Overall a great experience, good service and great variety of food. This place is a must visit if you are around marine lines, charni road.

Golden star thali, Charni Road, Mumbai an amazing buffet, which different live counters, desserts and much more. This place has authentic Rajasthani and gujrati food where the menu changes everyday and is quite affordable. Each of the food item was extremely delicious but I especially love the basundi. It has a very rich flavour and delicious taste. The place has a calm ambiance with its minimalist interiors. Their hospitality is up to the mark and extremely satisfying. The service is pretty quick. The staff is always having an eye on your thali so that they can feed you properly. A must visit place to eat all the delicious variety of Rajasthani and Gujrati food.

If you're craving for an authentic Rajasthani and Gujarati culinary experience, head over to Golden star Thali nr. Charni Road station. It's such a steal considering the quality and quantity of food they offer. The vibrant ambiance and friendly staff make it even more enjoyable. On weekdays, you can enjoy this delightful thali starting from just 570 rupees, inclusive of taxes. Now, what makes this place so unique and special is that they have this amazing hand sign system for their dishes. Yes, you heard it right they use hand signs to communicate the variety of dishes they offer. It's like a secret language of flavors!
