This restaurant is established in 1950 Famous for its non veg menu. Must try Mutton dishes & Biryani But management only prefer cash , which now days is not ethical.

We got kheema bheja fry, prawns masala curry with pav and rice bhakri. The prawns masala was superb. The quantity was very less. The restaurant staff is friendly. The owner himself suggested all the dishes to try. We ended our meal with caramel custard. It was the highlight of our day.

We had crab lollypop, jhinga masala and surmai fry today... And it was super tasty😋. Not to forget their caramel custard its a must eat dessert.. I have been there twice ... And they haven't disappointed me, Mind you I am not an easy person to please when it comes to food. On my first visit it was a Tuesday so had to eat veg misal pav and custard which was also good. The owner is also super cool. He asks customers their where abouts and takes their review about the food.. it feels very nice

Would love to visit this place again, we ordered khema bhej fry on recommendation of the owner and chicken biryani. Easily the best khema bhej fry I had, it was spicy and tasted buttery. When it comes to chicken biryani we had some really bad ones but this one was brilliantly made for its cost, pieces were satisfactory so was the quantity and quality of rice. Place is clean which matters a lot for me, wash basins even had soap dispensers in working condition. Two wheeler price parking I am told is few metres away from this place but do call the restaurant to get more info about car parking in case you are visiting.

The mutton kheema is indeed as tasty as the legend says, although you do wish that there was more quantity served.

Awesome place go for kheema bheja and bheja fry. The owner is very friendly and does most of the cooking himself. It's next to JJ College and very popular and reasonable. We had more than 5 dishes and our bill came to only Rs. 1000

Hotel Grant House, (regulars and old timers address it as Police Canteen) is an iconic eatery, famous for sea food delicacies, specialy its legendary Kheema Pav. Have fond memories of sitting out in the open on wooden benches below a huge tree, next to a water pond with hundreds of fish that would jump in the air to grab bits of bread thrown in by diners, as they savored their meals. The pond gave way to the present day Haj Comittee Building... we got a newly renovated eatery, but the Kheema Pav followed by Dal Rice and Solkadi still tastes the same. Been coming here since early 1980s, but still cant get enuf... Am back here atleast once a month! 😋😋😋
