I would say good but not the best they can improve . Moderate rates and quntatiy is enough . Try it you will find satifaction . Thanks for serving us .
Cheap and tasty shawarma, don't let them add the cheese it'll start tasting bad. The kebabs are not so bad. Ambience is not much to claim. But the food is amazing. Preferred non veg over veg
A very good and moderately priced place to have food. Variety of Arabic dishes to quench the Arabic culinary carving. The place looks very ordinary and nit much of a great ambience.
Okay I have to say that this is probably one of the places that proves it true to "never judge a book by its cover".
I was pretty shocked to see the prices and could hardly believe this could be so cheap since I was planning on having prawns.
I ordered the prawns fried rice and schezwan prawns and I have to say that maybe they weren't the best I have had but the fried rice was pretty good and the prawns weren't the best but weren't bad at all.
Was amazing value for money and the speed the good reaches you at - is amazing! TheTwinsArchive
Don't go for the looks, sometimes the looks misleads you. Perhaps renewed but relived in a new incarnation. This place now as per my friends serve perhaps the best Kheema you will get early morning. Juicy not that greasy and the chunks were enough for ideal taste unlike few places around which has more of green leafy vegetable saapu, this is a nice Kheema loving place. The tandoori is also ideal and lips smacking with kebabs. Also small shawrama easy on pocket is good and tasty.
Altogether it's a good place to dine instead of how it looks like.
The food is very competitively priced. It may not be made by a gourmet chef but is quick and light on the pocket. The Shawarmas over here are really good. Wouldn't recommend regularly dining here though.
A quint cafe, famous for its food especially kebabs and biryani. This restuarant is always packed in the afternoon and evenings, so might have to wait for a while. This place has been my favorite since college days.
Being saturday, we reached mid afternoon, the place was half full. We ordered for, chicken tikka biryani and kheema pav.
Biryani was spicy though a bit oily. Which I guess is fine, since my mom says biryani has to be a little oily, ha ha!! Moms and the undue importance they give to extra ghee and oil to be fed. Kheema was well made, packed with punch. You can feel the mild after-taste of the spices.
Great food, complete VFM!!!
I just thought of trying butter chicken from this place but the moment i took my first bite "ummmmmmmm" this was my reaction. They are good in terms of quality and quantity but service is too slow.
Improve your service then I'll make it 5.
The only good food I like here is the Chicken Fried Rice with some gravy and French Fries. French Fries are always good here. Don't know how they spoil everything else but these 2 dishes are always good and taste consistent and it's cheap too!
I see this restaurant daily on my way to office and today thought why not lets try the food here....
An old Irani type restaurant... with old seating arrangement... but spacious...
I had ordered egg fry masala and butter roti...
the food was tasty and yummy... very delicious... big rotis with lots of butter and very cheap aswell..
I ended up paying 96 rs for a good lunch...
Yes affcose u can try this restaurant if you are in that area... good value for money....
This restaurant being in close proximity to my house, was never considered for ordering food but all that changed.
I've ordered a Mughlai dish ealier named Chicken Mumtaz & it was just splendid. Apart from the taste being different, the chicken dish had 2 or 3 keema balls as well! I was sure that the Mughlai food wouldn't disappoint, so when I was going to order Chinese food recently due to urgent need for dinner, I was skeptical as the restaurant doesn't look as if they specialize in Chinese food. I always thought they specialized in Kababs, Tandoor, Mughlai etc.
So I ordered for a Chicken Hot'n'Sour soup, Chicken Hot Garlic Dry, Veg Manchurian, Schezwan Fried Rice & Veg Crispy.
Coming straight to the food, I was stunned by the quantity of the soup which looked enough for 2 people. The soup was good enough for me to relish every spoonful. The Chicken Hot Garlic Dry was a pleasant surprise as I ordered this dish in random. Loved the quantity, texture & flavour of this starter, which I'll recommend to fellow foodies. The Veg food - the Schezwan Friend Rice, the Veg Manchurian were nice & the Veg Crispy starter was again really good with big slices of vegetables on offer. The starter tasted real authentic Chinese. The prices were quite decent, which makes it more attractive.
I loved the Chinese food so much that I'll probably order Chinese food more than the Mughlai menu.
As the restaurant doesn't have an ac, I'll recommend to order the food home & eat in comfort whilst maintaining the taste that is still a surprise to me.
This place is not as bad as it looks like and serves decent food at very cheap prices. The kheema ghotala is good for breakfast and the biryanis are good too. Go for the mutton boneless dishes and you can't go wrong. Paya gravy or soup is good too.
Been here last week when I was out on a late night drive. Serves decent Chicken Shawarmas at pretty cheap rates. Don't quite know about the service here, but looks good for takeaways.
Middle of a crowdy market it is a place to take rest with having food to meet up your hunger.Reasonable prices with medium quality food......
On my trip to Mumbai I went there with my colleague.. It's in the middle of the crowded market BUT the moment you reach there and get seated, it gives you the feel of those olden restaurants. We ordered paneer bhuji, keema and butter roti..
The dishes were made fresh and tasted just like home. Being a Delhiite I was not able to cope with the taste of food in the restaurants but this one was different! The service was cozy and the food was served hot and costed way less than what we pay usually at a fine dine restaurant. Also, the waiters were not very formally dressed or so which made it even more convenient for us to talk to them. I love the all so desi mahaul and I miss that place a lot! One should definitely visit this place.
I hope I get to be there again.. It was such a delightful experience. :)
