Went there for breakfast with a couple of friends.. pretty sophisticated ambience, courteous staff!
But the highlight of the meal was the NYC pancake stack. We thought it would be like a stack of regular pancakes with some maple syrup but boy we were in for a surprise! It was two flavourless pancakes with sriracha mayo, pork sausages, fried egg and some more sriracha mayo in them! The potato relish on the side was yum too! So so SO good!!!
The waffles are recommended too.

My other favourite , 😎, for some reason it is never my first choice when in the neighborhood , maybe because of the quality of competition , but a visit to these guys is always a pleasure.
The open space , courteous staff and wonderful brews , not to forget the different and execllent garlic bread , will surely recommend the place for relaxed laid-back breakfasts with friends.

Tender & Succulent pieces of Chilli and Lime glazed Chicken tossed with Fried Tortilla Strips, Pico De Gallo & Guacamole served with Roasted Garlic Sour Cream was a rather refreshing take on a salad
2) Baja Fish Taco:
Batter Fried Fresh Fish served on a bed of Sour Cream, Guacamole & Red Cabbage placed atop the Soft Shell Tacos were light and full of flavour. The only downside being that the Tacos arrived on our table cold

1) Asian Chicken Bowl:
The Asian Chicken Bowl is a meal in itself. Grilled Chicken, Pokchoy & Asian Greens were generously dressed with Maple Soy & Honey Glaze

The Eggless Mocha Flavoured Dark Chocolate was indeed the star here. Served on a bed of Biscuit Crumbs and Chocolate it tasted divine. Highly recommended

Very friendly staff and a good spacious place to hang out. Their cocktails are really nice and they can also make drinks or food off menu. Not overly priced too. Ask for the ham pizza that's not on the menu. Only criticism would be that they had run out of ingredients for a couple of things we wanted to order.
The food was great. We called for bagels and pasta. Avocado toast was average but rest was great. Service was great as well. The pasta in pink sauce tasted perfect. The manager is quite warm and welcoming and catered to us, efficiently. The ambience is nice and calm. Cleanliness is up to the mark. Ideal for an evening brunch.
This place has a chic vibe and has an upclass aura but to be completely honest, it's not that great. The pricing would fall under expensive, the quantity is less and the taste is not that great either. I visited this place just once and well, wasn't interested in visiting again. When I was there, the place was understaffed, the service was questionable. I even had to specifically ask to be given water. And even though I ordered just 2 items, my order took quite long to be prepared even though I wasn't there at a rush hour.
To summarise, the place isn't bad, but there are much better options out there, specially considering its Location.

A good place for a dinner party with friends. The restaurant is spacious with seating on ground floor and first floor. We were 10, so had booked the table in advance. Wasnt crowded at all.
We ordered:
1. Chicken popcorn: Crispy chicken balls served with a dip. (3.5/5)
2. Bbq pork ribs: The best dish of the night..Taste wise & quantity wise. (4/5)
3. Chiken Tacos: Home made tacos with mexican filling. Taste was good but the quantity was not enough even for a single person. (3/5).
4. Jerk Chicken: Amazing chicken cooked in mild spicy sauce served with Mashed potatoes and some veggies.(4/5).
5. Crown Garlic Bread: Its was one unconventional Garlic bread. Served with a cheesy sauce it has the shape of pentagon. (4.5/5)
6. Bbq chicken pizza : The pizza is like the New York Style pizza slice. Big enough for 2. Very good taste wise. (4/5)
7. Ham Pizza : They didnt have pepperoni so replaced it with Ham. It was delicious. Ham
was cooked perfectly. (4/5).
8. Mr. Daniels : Its a dessert infused with alcohol and chocolate base. Similar to mousse but little thick. MUST TRY!! (5/5)
9. Tiramisu: My personal favourite. But this one wasnt soft enough. But good in taste. (3.5/5).

Went on a Sunday Afternoon. The ambience on first floor is nice. The staff are well versed with the menu.
We tried-
French Toast- Nice comfortable french toast done very honestyle.
Fried Pasta with Marinara Sauce- Nice munchy goes well with the Marinara sauce.
Pesto Risotto- I am fan of Pesto and this was a winner.
Open Burrito- I have first time tried an open Burrito. The fillings were quite good. Just that I would still like to go with the closed traditional one.
Loved the choco lava cake for desserts.
We had a fantastic evening here. The food was amazing! And the service was top notch. A huge thank you to our server, Kunal, for taking such good care of us. We couldn't have asked for more :D

Great place with fabulous colourful crockery. Staff was friendly and competent. Definitely go for the sweet potato gnocchi even if you’re a meat eater , it won’t disappoint! The zomato gold on drinks was an added privilege, the cocktails were lovely!
Benedict bistro is a perfect hang out place and is lively. It is one of the best places in Bandra.
We had three dishes that did justice to our taste buds.
New York City Cereal bowl-
It’s made up of Mixed cereals served with in-house berry compote. With some caramelised banana and apple slices.
They have choice of Warm/Cold/Soy milk/in-house berry yogurt.
We also had these fun mini rainbow bagels with cream cheese, olives and rosemary. One of the cutest things ever seen. They are adorable form of unicorn food. They are extremely delicious.

Topped with some dried tomatoes, zucchini and bell peppers.

Went for a Sunday brunch with family, was partially full as I prefer, where it's not packed to be noisey same time not empty to be disturbing. Being a NY inspired restaurant I would say it mostly justifies it's purpose, menu is bit different from what you usually get in dinners which are working on similar cuisine. Mostly focused on healthy and light food, perfect change for the most I'd like to believe. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Menu is self explanatory. Food is a very refreshing change I'd say. Surely worth a try for lazy afternoons or evenings where you don't want to fill yourself with the usual.
went for lunch today and had a really nice experience. Was served by kunal who was knew the menu, and was extremely efficient.
I had the chicken burger which was superlative. A good dense patty, yummy dressing, warm soft bun and accompanied by yummy fries which were nice and thick . The fries were not oily and even though thickly cut had been fried just right. My friend had the chicken penne pasta with Broccoli and mushrooms and it was delicious. The white sauce was rich and creamy but not overwhelmingly so.
We had two cocktails, the names of which slips my mind. Mine was a yoga something or the other....both the cocktails were well-made. and well presented.
If you are a lover of cocktails, and you're looking for the perfect place, then hands down this is the best place for cocktails in the whole of Bandra. The energy and love with which they are made is enough to leave you, incredibly happy and wanting for more. The ambience is quite warm and comfy, and so is the staff.
Benedict Bistro & Bar will always be on top of my list for a good cocktail night with friends! A must try for all!

I was welcomed with 2 mini rainbow bagels with cream cheese, capers & dill leaves - a welcome change from the usual bread basket full of dry bland breads.
And then comes the best part - the chef very kindly agreed to make something from the old menu (eggy bread) that was no longer listed. Also, shoutout to Kunal - super courteous & prompt service. And was able to answer every question I had - what ingredients a dish would have, where they came from etc.
Special mention for the concept & thought that has gone into the place - each floor has a different vibe.
Ground floor has a homely feel with a fireplace. 1st floor has a bar. And rooftop has a gorgeous terrace.
Cannot praise the people enough. Left me feeling warm, hopeful, super happy and content.

You have to try the Tacos (I had the chicken one). I do not like Mexican food so much BUT these are the best Tacos I’ve ever had. Definitely try them out.
Burgers and their “large plates” are also pretty good.
Do try the chicken in truffle cream. It was really good.
Desserts are equally good.
Ambiance is also great. You will definitely have a good time.
It may seem costly but the quality and taste of the food will make up for it.

We were hungry and desperately looking for a place without waiting and quick service in Bandra. After a long wait at a restaurant we just walked in to The Benedict Bistro & Bar. This place used to be It Happens Only in New York. We were given a menu that was being remodelled to its new theme. Ordered the Jerky Chicken with Mash & Veggies and of course Eggs Benedict with pork belly. Both dishes were outstanding. The chicken especially was seasoned well and prepared really well. We had a taste of their dessert (complimentary) and it was simply sinful and delicious. We gave the cocktails a miss as we were just hungry but they told us that they have some signature cocktails and are worth trying. Maybe next time. Definitely worth a try and also serves breakfast. Gotta try that. Keep it up guys.
Fabulous food from start to finish with impeccable service! The rainbow bagel with sour cream was oh-so-good. You cannot miss the Pork ribs. This one is a must have! Lamb Ragu was fine too but with the taste of prob ribs still lingering in my palette, Ragu felt a little bland! The Cocoa-pot-de-creme was yummmmmmmm. Highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back for more.

Ambience
The restaurant is divided into 2 levels, a more informal café like seating on the ground and a more formal sit down style on the first floor. The ground floor is brightly lit and more suited to brunch or a day-time snack or high tea. Upstairs is better for dinner.
Life’s Good, but its not perfect
Starters
We were welcomed with mini rainbow bagels and cream cheese. It was a cute amuse bouche and a good way to set the mood for a New York inspired dinner.
To start we ordered the Pork Belly with chimmichurri. This was an absolute delight. The spices were mild, not to overpower the pork.
Then we had the Peri-peri spiced Prawn . The prawns were cooked well, with the potent hit of peri peri toned down for a global palate. The balance of flavors was perfect. The menu said it comes served with crushed peanuts. We didn’t find any.
Chicken wings were next on a fairly long list. The sauce was homage to the indelible impression Chinese food has on New York. Tangy and hot would be the perfect description.
The Nachos with Chicken were average and nothing much to write home about.
The Popcorn chicken were bite sized chicken tenders coated in panko crumbs served with a kimchi mayo. It was a good bar snack, perfect with a glass of beer. No stars and spangles on this one.
Mains: The mains are described as large plates; they are smaller than the industry average and are just enough for one.
We tried the slow cooked pork belly is supposed to be served with a sweet potato mash. What we got was sweetened regular potatoes. Served with a berry jus, this felt like dessert served a course early. The pork was cooked well, though.
The Jerk chicken was a leg and thigh served with mashed potato and assorted veggies. The chicken was flavored just right and cooked well. The jerk flavours didn’t come on too strongly and with the sides, this made for a decent sized main.
The Tenderloin steak was marinated in garlic and rosemary, served with mash and mushrooms. They do the steak to order, so let them know how you like it.
Dessert:. With no space left, we had to give dessert a miss, but we should be back soon.
Drinks: We tried the Upper East side wine Cup which was a concoction of red wine, cranberry juice, bitters and a slice of orange served on crushed ice. They have a reasonably good selection of cocktails. If you are with a group, they have pitchers of sangria, buckets of beer and bottle service on hard liquor.
Service wise, the servers are attentive and courteous. The menu is fairly descriptive, so its unlikely that you’ll need help to order.

Value for money The starters are reasonably well priced. The mains, taking into consideration portion size, are on the higher side.

It was an amazing experience as soon as we walked through the door. The staff was excellent! Kunal went out of his way to give us a tour of the restaurant and was attentive throughout. The food was fresh and delicious, definitely one of those restaurants where you go back to fulfill your craving for a special dish. The cocktails were also a pleasant and unexpected surprise, strong and really amazing!

A really cute and well located Bistro. The food we had was absolutely delicious. The Salmon and cream cheese Bruschetta was amazing and so was the tenderloin steak (medium rare). The portion size is pretty big.

If you have delicious food without brilliant service then it dulls the experience. At The Benedict Bistro I received fabulous service with delicious food and left 2.5 hours later with a big grin! Thank you Santosh the manager and our friendly smiling waiter whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. Your attention to detail and absolute joy at having us in your restaurant is what a great meal is all about! They raised the bar for service with a smile!
We started out with these adorable mini rainbow bagels with cream cheese that is their signature welcome dish to start you off. When we expressed our appreciation for it, our kind waiter brought us two more, warm and fresh!
We ordered the 4 cheese grilled toastie which comes with a tomato soup like dipping sauce and waffle fries. This is my 3rd time ordering this dish over the past 9 months and it still hits the spot perfectly! We requested a top up of the dipping sauce and again our friendly waiter happily brought us some more, again hot and perfect!
Next some nachos, which didn't taste overly cheesey and were refreshing and filling.
I wanted to try their flower crown garlic bread. Santosh recommended it by saying as a fellow foodie, its something he recommends to everyone as their garlic bread is amazing. Done. Ordered. The surprise at the end of the meal? Santosh had given it to us complimentary!
I ordered the quattro formaggi pizza slice which arrived with a side salad. Its a meal by itself if you're looking for a quick bite. Its a NY slice so the size is about the size of a dinner plate.
My friend ordered the hot dogs which were filling and the portion was generous!
My friend loves waffles and they have waffles on their brilliant brunch menu (I'll definitely be visiting for brunch soon as they have savoury vegetarian options which I rarely see in Mumbai). Santosh gracioualy offered to have the chef make us waffles for dessert! He was going off shift and informed the kitchen about it and told us if he wanted waffles, we'd get waffles!
The waffles were soft, fresh, delicious and a perfect end to our meal!

Booked a table of 5. I'd heard the portions were small, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the quantity. Tenderloin Steak was awesome, but even their chicken burger, pork chops and slow cooked pork belly were well prepared, succulent and juicy. Service was accommodating and attentive. Mohsin & Kunal served us well. Definitely going back.

The Benedict bistro has decent interiors, a wide food n drinks menu and staff is nice n courteous. Overall experience was OK but an overall "wow" was missing. It's will be one of those places where I have been to once and thts it.

Right from the ambiance, menu even the uniforms of the staff! They have a varied American menu for food and also for breakfast. Yes, tad bit on the expensive side. You can avail Zomato Gold for drinks. I will recommend you try their Sangria (red and white wine both).

we opted for the curated "wow tables" menu...and we had -
Tiny rainbow bagels - freshly baked, moist bread with cream cheese. loved it 😋
Pumpkin and green apple soup - it was their soup of the day and i thought to give it a try....and i was not regretful at all !!!
Thick, creamy soup with small pieces of green apple interspersed within. Bland, hearty, healthy, filling !!!
Tomato basil soup - Tangy, slightly creamy and herby. Amazing flavor !!! served with grilled bread. Must try !!!
Baja fish taco - Though fish was fried and quite greasy, the overall combo with tortillas, sour cream, guacamole and salsa was yummy 😋😋
Chicken gumbo - we tried to modify veg gumbo into a chicken oneby asking chef to add chicken...but i should say we hardly found 2-3 small pieces of chicken along with the holy trinity of vegetables....so actually it was veg gumbo which we had !!!
The sauce was tangy, creamy & very flavorful...was going perfectly with the rice.
Dessert - Mocha plate
This is basically mocha flavored dark chocolate . it was very dense and too filling. i would have liked it a little lighter !!!

I had heard a lot of good things about this place and to be honest it does makes me happy with the vibe it gives. It's located near lilavati hospital. It has a great ambience. staff was pretty generous. nachos and rainbow bagels are one of the most famous items from this place. full bar is also available. wifi is available. vegan and jain option is also available. They have got high prices but it's worth it. It also serves some cocktails and some desserts.

The ground floor place is family type place where you can sit and enjoy with family. On first floor we got lively atmosphere. Crowd was good.

Amazing place! Great ambiance and good music. Went here for lunch. Enjoyed the food alot. The service was fast and the staff are very cooperative. If they feel a dish is not up to the mark, they ask you if you would like to order something else! (I have never seen any other place do that).
Nice decor and very strategic interior. Polite staff and good mannerism of hospitality. The food quantity was very small in portion. Quality was too awesome. It was happy hours so 1+1 wine offer on the house. All in all a great experience.

Mixed feelings, both about the food and the ambience. The ground floor is bright and pretty. The first floor is well designed but needs better lighting. Seems a bit dingy in the evening. The menu over promises and under delivers, which seems to be the norm nowadays. Portions are small. Decent bar menu and wine list.
Benedict Bistro is a good restaurant with a great vibe, but highly overpriced and low on variety... We went there on a Saturday and it was relatively empty for the weekend... Had already finished dinner, so we stuck to a cream cheese bagel and The artichoke Pizza slice which at Rs 400 is really expensive... The cream cheese bagel was legendary, go here and prepared to unnecessarily shed out a lot of money... The food is really tasty, hence the high rating...
Absolutely love the place, the ambience is lovely 🌃 🕯& it has a certain je ne sais quoi to it. I had the pasta with truffle cream sauce & it just blew me away in all honesty. The ploughman's pie was pretty remarkable & sapid to say the least. Would definitely recommend this place to friends & family 🌟
Multi floor restaurent with with nice western decor. It serves fusion food & new concept food. My all time favorite is the chicken burger. Its a massive double meat bugger which hits the sweet spot !
The food at this place is absolutely delicious, from their cakes to pizzas to bagels to hot chocolate and whatnot, also considering their homemade ice cream. Extremely satisfying! Although it may be slightly heavy on the pocket but it’s never too bad to treat yourself once a while!
The service was impeccable to say the least. The servers were very well informed about the menu as well as customisations in them. The food was as good to eat as to look at. And the place had a great vibe and great interiors. Will definitely recommend the place to others and visit again soon! :)

I’ve been to Benedict’s twice so far. The place with its bakery feel downstairs and bar cum lounge feel upstairs is very welcoming. The wooden decor down is warm and welcoming while the red and black lo k with mirrors and muted lights upstairs does remind you of some cosy little joint in New York. The first time around met up with a couple of girl friends for drinks and we had a super time. The service staff and bartender were extremely helpful and not just pointed out with helpful suggestions on cocktails but also customised to our tastes. The place allowed us to hang around leisurely on a Friday evening. We just ordered some nachos and chicken which were fine.
The second time my daughter and I came here for lunch on a lazy Saturday and yet again it was a happy experience. We started off with waffle fries which were warm having been freshly made and crisp and spicy. Perfect for accompanying drinks. The black pea salad could have been better - it was too much peas and less of others. The pork chops with sweet potatoes mash was to die for. Garlicky creamy mash with a well cooked chop and thick brown sauce- very generous portions. The agilio olio spaghetti was nice too done al dente and with the right amount of seasonings.
What really endeared me on both occasions was the helpful staff . Pricing is as per upmarket Mumbai joints . On the higher side but worth it

We ordered the eggs Benedict, french toast, nachos, hot dog and grilled chicken cubano.
Food and drinks excellent. Lively place. A perfect Sunday type of place. I'd give 5 stars for only food review. But they messed up the time line of orders. They brought each main course order with a gap of 30mins. So we ended up starting and finishing meals at different times. Also they forgot a few things which we had to eventually cancel. Quite a few listed items were not available.
Wasn't too crowded for a Saturday night which is always a plus. Have a decent bar menu and managed to save a bulk on drinks due to Zomato Gold. On top of that we were served with a lot of complimentary starters for some reason so no complaints from my side. Definitely worth a visit!

“The Benedict Bistro and Bar” is hailed as the New York City Cafe right here in Mumbai! True to its words, the ambiance, decor and the food transported us to the City that never sleeps. Located in Bandra, this bistro has a 17-page menu which boasts of various appetizers, breakfast eats, mains, desserts and drinks!
Impressed with the ambiance, we started our foodscapade by trying their drinks menu. For drinks, we ordered the Classic Moscow Mule which is a vodka based drink with ginger and lime extracts and a Whiskey Sour which is basically whiskey, orange juice and lime soda. The drinks looked good and were really refreshing.
After having the drinks we started off with food by ordering Nachos which were prepared in-house, served with fresh guacamole, beans and sour cream, garnished with cheddar cheese. We were very happy with the presentation of the dish and more than thrilled with the taste, which was quite evident when the food was gone in a matter of two minutes!
Next on our table came the Four Cheese Grilled Sandwich which was basically a regular grilled cheese, made with brown bread served with a tangy tomato dip and a side of fresh salad leaves. They looked good, but nothing extraordinary in terms of taste. Although the cheese pull was heavenly. Would rather recommend trying some other dish instead.
We also tried the heavenly Philly Steak Sandwich which was a sandwich filled with juicy steak, tomatoes and caramelized onions. The sandwich was really delicious, the filling was sufficient, the meat was cooked correctly and the sauces added a really good taste to the sandwich.
And finally, no prizes for guessing the dessert as it was obviously the New York Style Cheesecake which was served with berry compote. The cheesecake was fluffy and melted in our mouths as we rushed to finish it and went so very well with the berries!
Our wait staff was great and made sure we were having a good time! Overall we were very happy with our experience, however, we did seem to find it a tad bit overpriced. But then again, it’s not every day we get to eat in New York right! We’d definitely recommend checking it out.
Don’t forget to use your Zomato Gold while you are there to get 2+2 on your drinks 😉

The four cheese pizza is probably the best I've ever had. Also their jerk chicken and pork ribs are fantastic. I didn't like the Asian bowl one bit so I wouldn't recommend that. But otherwise, good to go to!

With no sense of a Friday night vibe, this place is lucky to have the location it does, for two floors of precious property at Bandra Reclamation is done injustice to.
Amongst the confusion with the ambience-music and setting, I was pleased by the service and the rainbow cream cheese bagels prepared, which looked like a dessert, but was just a funky colored dough.
The menu's potential doesn't reflect in its atmosphere, and expectations from this place to do better, are high.
We came here for late lunch on 1st Jan and while the food was good, the service was extremely slow.
I had a breakfast burrito with egg and it was good but cold - in the way that it gets when someone's forgotten to bring it from the kitchen to your table.
My friend had a yummy spinach and cheese sandwich which she loved but it took 2 reminders to get the order from the kitchen. given the place was practically empty, the slow service was surprising.
The decor of the place is very American and the music interesting and different. The food itself is good, when it does reach your table

Absolutely delicious food. We had these delicious cream cheese mini bagels given to us by Tejas. The four cheese pizza is to die for. The eggs were fluffy and on point. So in love with the food here. Sigh. Food coma.
Nice place on the rooftop. Service was generally very attentive, with the exception of the cake we ordered for dessert (that took 45 min). Food was fresh and very tasty. Had the grilled fish and some cocktails- all delicious. Although the gesture is nice I didn’t really care for the amuse full of food coloring to start of with. Will definitely come back.

When it comes to diversity in a Metropolis, there are not many cities as diverse as Mumbai. However, New York, as we know it, is a gathering spot for people all around the nooks and corners of the world. As diverse as the city is, they have assimilated the food and culture of all those who have come here and submerged themselves into the heart of this city.
We truly think, that this brilliant as well as humongous 2 storeyed property which adorns the name "It happened In New York" has truly been able to do justice to the city that New York truly is. The red leather seats on one side are reminiscence to the old American diners whereas the classy and chic seating placed atop a cosy rug gives it the modern vibes of a city waiting to explode into its beauty.
It was a perfect set up for the perfect evening that was about to follow. We were welcomed warmly with their amuse bouche. Now, this one was one of the most commonly consumed items in New York, i.e. The Rainbow Bagel. Stuffed with a whiff of cream cheese and spicy capers and tangy olive, it was delicious. The bagels had a beautiful texture as well as colour to them.
While we were still in the mesmerizing captivity of the Bagels, the Classic New York style Nachos arrived. Never have we ever seen, such a perfect harmony of colours on a nachos platter. Golden brown coin shaped crisps sat atop a bed with lines of sour cream, pico de galla, guacamole and refried beans. The sunny yellowish orange cheddar shredded over this piece of art made it even more drool-worthy. It was not until we took the first bite, that we realize that the flavours were breath-taking and delicious. They were easily the richest quality of nachos we have ever had. The tangy and fresh taste of pico de galla, the texture of guacamole, the frothy looking sour cream, the smooth refried beans with the cheesy cheddar melted in our mouths and gave an overall balanced feel. We absolutely loved it.
We ordered the Central Park Swizle and the Upper East Side Wine Cup to go with it. The Central Spark Swizle was a classic drink with a gold rum base and chunks of sour cherry added a tang to it. The vanilla balanced the sharpness of pineapple and the sour taste of orange. It looked and tasted beautiful. Same was with the Upper East Side Wine Cup. This one was served in an old school wine glass and loaded with slices of lime, oranges and mint.
The Rosemary and Truffle Popcorn were blissful. Huge in size and layered with truffle oil and the flavour of rosemary leaves were aromatic as well as crunchy. They tasted soulful and crisp. They made for a great side snack to munch upon.
We decided to try something filling and ended up with The Grain Story. Now this one was a huge load. Lines of beans placed atop a mixture of Brussels sprouts, charred fenned, beetroot, carrots, cabbage and many more. It was topped with pesto bocconcini and fried kale leaves. The flavours were refreshing and the meal felt healthy. The crunch of kale leaves and Brussels sprouts made it even better. Even this dish was unique and topped up the nutritional quotient.
Next , we went for something that was street-food type. Waffle fries and Shoestring fries accompanying the Grilled Cheese Cubano. We first grabbed some fries instinctly and boy! They were yum! Perfectly thin and sleek fries with the cheese dripping veggies filled cubano was that piece of calorie which you surely wouldn't mind. The stuffing in the cubano was on point with a chessy cheddar blend. Flavours were fresh and warm and the bread, extremely soft.
It finally was dessert time and how could a visit to New York be complete without the famous "New York Cheesecake"! Sinky, soft and cheesy are not enough to describe it. Served with sour berry compote, the tang was a bit high but the berry complimented the cream cheese. We were in love with this one. Same was the case with their Coffee Ice-Cream. It was like eating coffee. The texture, flavour and essence was captured beautifully. We truly loved the experience.

The great experience starts with the welcoming staff. Go for the seating at 1st floor. Menu is very elaborate and mixes contemporary with popular stuffs as well. The food is rightly priced, tastes light and yummy. Jerk chicken is very popular and worth a try. Overall, a very cosy and delightful experience.

Had a warm Tuscan chicken salad and the jerk chicken. The chicken in the salad was a little under however, the jerk chicken was perfect. Had a trial of the rainbow bagelbites - they're okay but I wouldn't eat that again. Portions are definitely small. Good service. Great ambience.
The ambiance is nice with a casual setup downstairs and a bar upstairs. The service is courteous. We ordered Garlic Bread and loved the way it was made differently served along with a cheese dip. They had a different drinks menu for Zomato Gold members and we enjoyed our cocktail. The only glitch is they charge VAT and service charge extra apart from the CGST and SGST.

Was browsing through Zomato Gold when the name of this place popped up. We were like four guys and just wanted to have a couple of Beers after work. When we stepped into this place we were taken aback by the serene and quite ambience. We were no specifically inclined at that time for such an ambience so had to move out. But the place definitely looked something where you can have a really long discussion with being interrupted by anything
Good place good ambiance...did not experiment much with food so can't comment...had gone there for drinks...cocktails menu had quite a few options besides the regular choices...sadly they didn't have available any of the whiskey we wanted from their menu so had to drink a whiskey of their choice instead

Benedict Bistro & Bar - Previously it used to be It Happened in New York. Nothing has changed. The Decor remains the same. Just some additions in the dishes. It's always a good place to Unwind with some amazing Music, Some great Classic cocktails and good food. Most of you may have visited It Happed in New York - not going much into details, let's get down to what we had:
Started with - Whiskey Sour, classic Cocktail, perfect combination of Whiskey/lemon juice/sugar and egg white. Since this place is all about Benedict, can call this drink Boston sour. Nicely done.
To Pair this we asked for - BAGEL (they have 2 types Naked/Signature) we called for Signature which has White and black sesame. Freshly baked. Dairy product with Cream cheese. Loved the texture- tasted subtle. Served with Home salad - Greens/Cherry tomato and sweet lime with a light dressing. Full marks. Lived up to the reputation.
Avo Tostada (Bar Nibbles) must try a small dish which was amazing. Homemade Flat crunchy Corn Tortilla topped with guacamole / salsa / jalapeño and English cheddar. Had the Subtle flavour from the guacamole/sweet tangy taste of the salsa/Hit of the Jalapeno and sharpness of the Cheddar. Overall liked it. Balance was good.
Pretzel with In-house dips - freshly made Soft pretzel. Served with 3 types of dips. Speciality. (Bar Nibbles) Cheese dip had s good texture tasted sharp. Pesto, can't go wrong - perfect and the BBQ sauce dip - has that smoky touch to it. Overall happy with this new dish in the menu.
Cocktail - Old fashioned (Classic) made well by Sandeep. Muddling sugar with bitters than adding whiskey with orange wheel as a garnish. Loved it.
MEAT BALLS - classic dish (star dish of the day) Classic chicken (minced) balls aromatic at the same time full of herbs but subtle in flavour balanced perfectly with Tangy Arrabiata sauce, loved the combination. Fantastic flavour. (wine/rosemary/sugar/red pepper/black pepper/Italian seasoning/garlic/lemon) overall a very balanced spicy/tangy sauce. A bit of parmesan added in the sauce and used as a garnish over the meat Balls. This is a MUST TRY dish. (Option of beef meat balls available)
NEW YORK SLICE PIZZA - just one slice (12") this is what New York is all about. Tried the Philly cheese steak slice. Crust was made well. Sheen was amazing. American cheddar was sharp. A strip of steak pepper onion was a good combination. Bell pepper and onions as well. Served with homemade salad (greens, cherry tomato, and sweet lime) lovely idea.
Classic Martini - made to perfection. Asked for Dirty and dirty it was.
Mains - Lamb Ragu, so French. Subtle in flavour. Loved the Roasted almond, elevated the dish. Basically it is a slow cooked lamb French style stew with caramelised pilaf. The fat of the lamb is discarded and it's boneless. Ragu sauce is all about balance of Onion/garlic/pancetta/carrot/herbs. Since it was prepared in French style flavours were subtle. Pilaf had a very lovely texture. Overall a nice main to try. Good quantity.
Tiger Prawns - This came in shell (something different) Flamed grilled tiger prawn, this was served with Bell pepper Caulis (gave a good punch to the prawn) Served with French Fries/Asparagus/Broccoli/bell pepper. To enhance the flavour just squeeze some lemon. Nice texture.
Desserts:
New York Cheese Cake - a must at this place. Compressed. New York Style. Smooth texture soft. Crust was good. Overall fantastic, berries made a difference. Try it out.
Mr. Daniels Cocoa pot de cream - JD all the way. You get a hit. Its JD flavoured chocolate with white mousse (soft) served with almost biscotti.
Overall - Loved the new dishes in the menu. We In fact called the new dishes. Do try this place. A couple of minor flaws (lamb in the lamb ragu being over - a couple of pieces) even the steak in the pizza (fine tuning required) apart from this - smooth sailing.
Go for it.
