Pocket friendly food specially south indian is the best. There's a lot of wide range options present in their menu. North indian gravies in general were ok. South indian things like dosa medu vada are better ones to order.
Located on the ground floor of saptarishi building in malad east. Hotel Milan is a pure veg udipi type of a restaurant.
South indian food is my top recommendation. We came here for breakfast and ended up ordering the same good old idli, wada and dosa. Medu wada was a little uncooked from inside otherwise the taste was great of all the dishes.
The another good place here which is located near the station. The food taste good with the quality. The hygenic cleaniness service and cost is very good here. The less budget for Punjabi sabji where other restaurants charges for 350 n above here it is below them. Nice place for a small family dinner plan. The restaurant is located 2-3 mins walk away from Malad Station. Not very good ambience but you will like the food. Pav bhaji is very good at Milan. You can also try their veg kolhapuri, you will like it.

The pav bhaji here is amazing. In punjabi, veg kolhapuri, paneer makhanwala , alu jeera and handi is nice. The daal khichdi here is super good. Onion uttapas are a delight. The onion rava masala is also pretty impressive. All in all a good budget friendly place to visit.

#Mondayblues... So I decided to go out with my wife for dinner in our area and we decided to go a hotel which can serve at an affordable price with good quality. So we entered Hotel Milan..the moment we entered staff were very professional in their behaviour they greeted us with good evening sir & mam.
We opened the big menu & decided to order Monchow Soup, it was too awesome in its flavour and hot till the last spoon. We also ordered Cheese Pav Bhaji, it was covered with full cheese over the top and the bhaji was very yummy. Lastly we decided to order dessert and they did not fail to surprise us with the presentation of the ice cream. Overall good food at affordable price. Just that ambience restricted me to give full 5.

Childhood favourite this 'not so famous' veg dining hotel is. Recently visited with my family for dinner. Had ordered for Punjabi Toast - a signature item on menu since ages that was well prepared along with a Paneer Schezwuan which was a bit dry and lacked the blend it should have. Veg. Cheese Pizza was made in old school style and tasted good.
Coming to main course, we tried Veg. Makhmali and Veg. Maharaja. Both subzi turned out to be real good. To end the meal we had a dal khichadi with tadka which was up to the mark.

Milan-Pure Veg has been serving, since as long as I remember.
It is a very well known eatery in Malad East and has been renovated recently. Now they offer an Air-Conditioned section which has a decent decor.
This is a pocket friendly restaurant which boasts its South Indian dishes and also serves delicious vegetarian Punjabi food. Their signature green coconut chutney is a must have with Roasted sindhi papad.
For about 20 years now, Punjabi Toast remains one of the best dishes they have in their kitty.
Also, lookout for the Gadbad Icecream in the dessert menu.
All in all this is a nice place to visit if all you want is to gave delicious food at a reasonable price.

Place : The place is quite in the interiors of Malad East...Also you nay experience problems for car parking however you may get away with two wheeler parking in the adjacent area.
Ambiance : The restaurant is not a big but a budget one though you won't find any theme based infrastructure...However the interiors are decent and sober..
Service : I have been to this place on weekdays as well as weekends, the service is great..Staff responds well..Takes care of repear order..
Food : The South Indian cuisine is quite well.....I have had masala dosa , Medu Wada and similar stuff..The North Indian cuisine also tastes well..The Tandoori Roti or Indian Bread section is really awesome !!

Had been to this place yesterday.. Was already stuffed to had planned to skip eating anything but something on the menu caught my eye and i couldn't help but order it. It was 'Punjabi toast', it took me back to the days when Masjid Bander was more famous for its roadside food. The taste here was simply yum... It was a bit different but worth a try esp ppl with a sweet tooth. My better half ordered Paneer toofani n the gravy was simply different n very yum. They server chapatis as well so he was more than happy. Very good service n food. Keep it up ๐๐
This hotel is near by to my office so habe visited many times . Its walking from malad station East. I have had punjabi and also south indian food here. Veg. Kadai with butter naan is my favourite here followed by jeera rice and dal fry. Even veg. Kolhapuri and panner makhanwala taste great. In South indian you love the sambhar and chatni here with butter idli.

Its been years since I hve been here...its one of the oldest hotel in malad...I hve given full ratings because its very close to my heart...takes me back to childhood memories..18 years ago ...when I was a kid ..mom and dad used to take us there to eat vada sambhar and falooda ...it was a big thing for us to go there...i was the happiest...the taste still lingers on my tongue. ..and m sure it has continued the legacy.. I no more live in malad bt this restaurant still lives in my memories....and every moment spent there...

This is a very good local restaurant. The food here is amazing if you go for North Indian food or Pav bhaji or South Indian food but don't eat sandwiches or aloo Paratha etc. They have a separate AC and Non-AC section which is clean and tidy. The service here is very good. They also do home delivery which is fast enough.
Food is usual same taste as any other restaurant . Just good for quick and simple food or meeting waiter service is good but kitchen order is slow as per I have experience even with less customer.

It's a family restaurant. Food taste is really good but when it comes to ambience don't expect more like a premium restaurant.
I recommend you to go on weekdays because on weekends there is so much noise because of the large number of family crowds.
The staff is well behaved and supportive.
The issue is you won't get parking there. Never come by car because you will end up wasting 10-15 mins to find a safe car parking option.
