Jai Hind Restaurant, Curry Road/Lower Parel
Jai Hind Restaurant is a very decent restaurant which is very popular in curry road, lower parel area. You will get tasty and delicious snacks and food here at pocket friendly prices. Best place for Maharashtrian Food. There is ac section also. Serving also so quick. You can go with your family and friends. My personal favorites here are Idli Misal Pav, Dahi Misal, Vada Pav, Vada Usal & Tea. Jai Hind Restaurant easily accessible from Lower Parel and Curry Road Railway Station. It's hardly 10 minutes walkable distance from this stations. Space is less but quality is really good. Liked it. Foodies go and taste.
I usually visit this place to have misal pav & sweet kachori... Yummy...
The taste is too good.... Serving also so quick ...
The misal pav is tooo good.... The price range is also reasonable....
For regular lunch goers this is a treat. Morning snacks are also available through out the day. Within 100 you have very good options to fill your belly.
Misal paav is lot loved by localities here.
All dishes above 100 are having quantity enough for 2. Quality of rice is also good. Chinese items are well cooked.
South Indian dishes need little improvement.
All in all a good budget hotel for regular office goers and middle economic class persons.
Awesome place 😃 would definitely recommend over much overrated spots around.
Jai Hind is a pure non veg restaurant famous for marine food serving both South and North Indian cuisine. Ambiance isn't much to brag about for the food quality and quantity is worth every paisa
The Misal here is awesome. Well, ots famous for its misal. i m eating misal there from my childhood. made sure to visit it during my last india trip.
Good food & place for quick bite & meeting over a cup of tea and snacks. Meal options are good as well. My personal favorites here are Idli Fry, Misal Pav & Tea.
Good joint for misal pav or vada usal.
A hidden gem in this sprawling metropolis, Jai Hind pleases the palate with spices marinated to perfection, flavors which speak to the quality of the ingredients and a friendly and sincere staff who are not afraid to make recommendations, which do not disappoint!
The misal-pav and Potato fritters’ recipes have been perfected and would be reason in itself to keep coming back. There is enough dash in the rest of the menu and adds to the heterogeneity and caters to varied tastes.
This little known eatery should be on everyone’s bucket list for anyone wishing to relish flavors as they are meant to be..
A very decent and simple restaurant which is popular locally. They have super reasonable rates. Pairing the Fried rice with thumbs up is the best combination. It isn’t always necessary to be fancy to taste good. Operating since a long time, this restaurant has certainly set is landmark.
Best place to get Marathi food for breakfast, meals. They have put AC area also do families can also visit.
Space is less but did quality is really good.
Misal is best among all.
Well coming down from Lower Parel station we saw this restaurant and it looked good on the outside so decided why not give a try as to how the restaurant is but the experience was truly wonderful.
The restaurant has an AC section on the first floor and a NON AC Section below. The seating arrangement is simple and elegant. All in all the ambiance and the inside environment is quite satisfactory.
Coming to the Food, we had ordered 2 plates of batata vada chatni and a plate of misal pav. The misal pav came earlier than the remaining order since the waiter told us that they make vada as and when they get the order and they serve hot which is a really good thing. The taste of the vada was excellent and the coconut chatni they served was really nice too although these guys should keep the chatni in the fridge as we found it had started to get spoilt when we had it. The chatni had become slightly sour.
Coming to the missal it was good nice taste and was served with 2 pieces of pav and some chopped onion and a piece of lemon. Although I must say that dun have high expectations from missal if you have had missal's from other places as well. we found it above average.
The only problem is regarding the cleanliness of the place which could improve. The sitting area is clean but the place where these guys make the food can be improved in a lot many ways. Overall it was a nice experience visiting the restaurant.
Good place. Rates are reasonable. Menu is also wide and good food options. Also serves Maharashtrian food items. Four people can eat sufficiently at cost of INR 500/- (non air-conditioned section). This restaurant also has seperate air-condition section. Very close from Lower Parel railway station. Is also clean place to have food.
