It's awesome place and staff is very good. I have celebrated my birthday and found the right place to celebrate the music was good.
We went to OPA bar and cafe in roof top...the environment was awesome....food is not too good and they dont have that much varieties..u can enjoy if u go with gang...
Visited Peninsula Grand Hotel a couple of days back for a shoot & lunch. Really enjoyed shooting there because it has beautiful contemporary wooden interiors along with spacious & neat rooms & bathrooms. Their outside lawn is absolutely gorgeous with large walls covered with plantation. The hotel staff is very helpful & their service was prompt. After the shoot, I had lunch in their restaurant & although it wasn't the first time I ate there, I still fell in love with its food all over again. My favourite is their North Indian cuisine & especially their Dal Tadka is mind blowing. Recommend you to visit this hotel once to experience this by yourself.
Amazing place would like to visit again, would be waiting late for the next time for some more music and dance, expect a few more options for veg food would be really really amazing. Just loved the ambience.
We went for dinner buffet the spread was great ambience was great & the staff very polite & helpful absolutely satisfied 👍👍👍
Very nice buffet and great ambiance, live counters and a drink could be added to the menu
If you are chicken lover then must try murgh Mahkani. Awesome dish for foodie. You may try Murgh kothimbir tikka also.
The place is located near the sion circle.
There are 3 Peninsula out there. 1 is in the Sion Circle which is a veg restaurant. The other 2 (1 veg and other non veg) are located in a lane inside just diagonally opposite the PVR Cinemas.
We had gone to the non-veg Peninsula (Obviously!) me being a pure non-vegetarian.
They also provide North Indian, Chinese and mughlai cusine. Both Indian as well as Chinese and other cuisines are very nice and the spread is also satisfactory.
Foodie no doubt excellent and they have large portions so order accordingly.
As a family friendly place, kudos to Peninsula for maintaining an amazing standard in food and service. It is a very welcoming place and the stewards are extremely attentive to your needs.
Soothing ambiance, very attentive and helpful service and a very good range of cuisine at reasonable prices makes this restaurant a very attractive place.
Ambiance - It's is fantastic. Has marble stone interiors. seating is provided by a large group also Though looks a bit congested and over done. However, this does give it classic polished feel. The seating is fixed quadrants and large a group cannot be seated unless split in smaller groups.
The service is fast and quick. The staff is really good and supportive.
Specialy I like the fresh squeezed orange juice with vokda ( That's Screw driver) is best. It’s less sweet and tastes better than other juice 🍊really cold & chilled juice

Decent dine place, the ambience is vanish white, which quite soothe your mind.
Well maintained staff, hygienic surrounding.
Good quality and taste of food.
One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at Peninsula and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... take it from me, I'm a student again. I have even visited other peninsula outlets and I would totally recommend the place to others. This place provides a great deal - lots of variety.
This place is spiced just right.
If your around Sion looking out for a fine dining place for you and your family, peninsula would be an ideal choice.
Located just opposite PVR cinema near sion circle, the restaurant is easy to find.
It has two separate sections for veg and non-veg. There is only indoor AC seating arrangements.
A nice quiet place, with a lovely decor. White wall interiors, which is actually a rare find these days.
The staff is polite, professional and very helpful.
In terms of food, I would personally recommend their spicy crab meat soup and prawns tawa masala.
Overall :-

The ambiance is quite pleasing to eyes, also one of the famous restaurant in Sion. The staffs here are very friendly. My fav dish from here is Paneer Tikka Masala, try with Butter naan. Just wow. Must visit
I like their hospitality and service is 5 star hotel standard. food is awesome. like it overall.
This place is located at sion. Ambiance was so good. Food quality was great and service staff not so friendly. Little bit costly. And the best place for mughlai chicken.
The Staff is very cooperative. The style of serving the dish is so elegant.. liked it very much.. had a great time... Food taste very good. The quantity and quality both are super good .. The surrounding is very calm one can enjoy the food very peacefully....
One of the oldest and most well known restaurant in Sion. I have been visiting the restaurant since my childhood and it has never failed to give me a good experience. The staff is always professional and friendly. I would highly recommend their tomato soup.
They have a very warm welcoming service. Food is good. The one feedback I would like to give is, the team keeps whispering into each other's ears something or the other, while looking at the customer. This looks very creepy and feels very uncomfortable. Try to leep your conversation, even if it's about a customer, to your kitchen or some other private place
4 stars for the food, the taste , the breadth of their menu and 1 star for the pricing 😜.
On a serious note , this is a rock solid place where you get good food , specially their North Indian selection and offers you a peaceful ambience to indulge in a foodgasm.
Pricing makes it prohibitive to eat here weekly and best reserved for occasions when you want to splurge or indulge.
There are few places which are a gem when it comes to mughlai food, and its one if them. Ordered their murgh tandoori, it was delicious, the spices used were right in quantity.Quantity was sufficient for two people.Price wise a bit costly. Delivery was on time. Recommended
Had gone for Dinner at This Lovely hotel.
It is an Expensive Restaurant considering the locality but theAmbience, Food and Service makes up for it.
We ordered the Manchow soup, which had a generous filling to it.
For starters we opted for Chicken Satay and it was the best decision we made that night. The Chicken is tender and the Peanut sauce accompanying it is lovely.
Ordered Rara Masala for Main course(Keema Chicken With some chunks of chicken as well) which was tasty!
For desert we ordered Sizzling Brownie.
2.5K bill for 2 people. Costly but worth the price.
Ps - Do try the Roasted Peanuts.
This place is located near Sion circle...
They serve a good amount of north Indian food which they are good at...
I have ordered a panner butter masala with tandoor
I love the taste of there food...
Service is also good..
Prices are damm high..

Eating here was a great idea. Firstly the tomato soup was very delicious and it was very creamy. Then the starters which I ordered and even the masala papad was very crispy and fresh, then I dalfry which was also a great choice and lasty the deserts were mind blowing in which the gulab jamuns were very soft. The main thing which I liked about the restaurant was it's hygiene and cleanliness. The ambience of this place is great and it is a very good place to chill with friends and family.
Went for sunday dinner
Had crab meat soup, chicken kothmir kabeb, chicken tawa masala, butter rotis, egg fried rice, shahi tukda.
Total 3570 for 4 people.
Recommended!
Pros - Quick and helpful service & staff. You get the 90s feel with the interiors which i love. From soup upto dessert everything was delicious. Highlight dishes in ranking ordee soup & main course n then kebab. Shahi tukda had 4 tukda per plate. Perfect place for family outing! Worth every money! Ideal for birthday aniversary celebration!!!
Con - Not pocket friendly or budget restro. Shahi tukda though yummy could have made better by dipping the tukda in rabdi when hot rather than serving the tukda over the rabdi.

A place with good ambiance, delicious food and quick service is all what a person looks for. Peninsula Sion is one such place. The ambience and the table setup is of a fine diner. The staff is very polite in taking orders and even help you out with suggestions as to what to be ordered in what category and cuisine as per your taste and needs. The food here tastes amazing from the way the cook it to its presentation and finally till it hits your taste buds and goes inside your tummy. The place lacks a bit of soft music.

Located just opposite PVR Sion, this is one of the most nearest restaurants being a Sion resident. We visited this place for a weekend dinner. Was a bit surprised to get table easily. We ordered:
1. Murgh Tikka and chef special kabab: Around 8 soft chicken pieces of 4 each. Murgh Tikka was red and chefs special was brown. Amazing taste. 4.5/5
2. Maytho chicken: We wanted to try chicken chilly but this was suggested by Abhijeet Sahoo and he didn't disappoint us. This was really tasty and a must have. 5/5
3. Shanghai sizzling lamb : The taste was good, quantity was good but the lamb pieces could've been softer. 4/5
4. Mutton dum Biryani : They've increased their quantity in this dish. Taste was decent. There were many pieces of mutton. You also get a complimentary raita with this. 4/5
We were served by Abhijeet Sahoo and enjoyed our meal. Actual rating would be 4.5/5.
Phenomenal Starters and of course the soups as well as the main course. The place might be a bit congested if you come along with a colossal group. Not the right place to have alcohol. You can surely pre-booze and join the party!!
This place is too much of seafood compared to veg so vegetarians please be cautious b4 going...Location and ambience is really nice even the taste of food is amazing...The 1 star less is only for too much of seafood compared to vegetarian dishes...So i will suggest you should try this place as their taste is amazing
very tasty, ambiance is good. drinks and food and overall atmosphere is very good. a must go. Near Sion Circle, Mumbai. crowded on weekends.
Place has a nice ambience, polite service and most importantly great food 🥘😋.
Can visit this restaurant with your family or friends.🙌🏻👌🏻
Peninsula is a casual dining restaurant located in Sion near the Sion Circle. The menu here is widely spread. The staff here is very friendly and helps you with your order.
We ordered Tandoori Machli and Sangam Kebab. Both the dishes are highly recommended.
A must try place....
Visited this restaurant many times, one of my favourite place for a delicious food! We ordered chicken crispy which is my all time favourite,in main course-chicken maharaja and butter naan which were finger licking, overall beautiful experience here
I celebrated my 21st birthday at the most famous restaurant in Sion.
The ambience is perfect for a celebration. The arrangement of the tables is perfect to the decor. The decor is in sync with eachother. Nothing falls out of place.
The staff is well behaved and looks after every detail of your order.
The food lived upto our expectations. Loved every bit of the food. The naan was cooked to perfection.
Also, they added an extra touch by playing the birthday song for me.
Must try if you want to splurge on a special occasion.
So this time we came to Sion to try one of the most famous restaurants "peninsula"
We first tried the chicken manchow soup which was really very good. Had good pieces of chicken and the soup was pretty think. Then for starters we tried butter garlic prawns which was mind blowing.. it was fully dipped in butter so you can imagine the taste. For main course we tried American chicken choupsey and with the we ordered kung pao chicken in semi gravy . Both were strictly ok. I think the quality of fried noodles that the use can be of a better quality. It's a family restaurant so you can go there any time.
Have been going here more than 20 yrs and this place has been like 2nd home for me and on personal level never ever had bad experience here. I would say it’s genuinely recommended
This yummy food at peninsula is the best, one must have without hesitating. Go with your friends, Enjoy the meal with your family and come home with full stomach. The ambiance is too good.
We tried fish fingers severed with potato fries which was too good, fish was so tender,so delicious almost melting in mouth,my 3yrs old daughter also like it.Tawa veg was okay, rumali roti was very buttery and masala papad was good. We were already full so never tried much.Definately come to try more seafood here.Friendly staff, good ambience.Good experience.
value for money, good food... their butter chicken is great as their gravy has a lovely aroma of indian spices as it arrives at your table. its the best place to eat in the area... easy to locate just opp PVR sion.
This place has been around for ages. I
Know the owner, who personally makes sure that the standard and quality of food will never go down. The sea food is great, always fresh, with a south indian touch to it. All the stuff in this place is top notch
So basically i have been here for many times. Its a pure Family restaurant located at Sion circle. Casual restaurant. All you can eat resto. Good for kids, good for groups. Pure vegetarian. Famous for South indian and north indian. On weekends there is mostly 30 mins waiting. They take prior booking too. Service and food is amazing. They focus in taste.

Peninsula is a good restaurant giving you a complete fine dining experience. It's located at a walking distance from the Sion Circle.
The place is usually full on weekends but we somehow managed to find a place within 10 minutes.
We tried the Chicken Tikka and Reshmi Kabab. The Reshmi Kabab was very good served with tangy green chutney.
For main course, we ordered for Butter Chicken with Tandoori Rotis. The taste was just perfect how a Butter Chicken should be and the quantity was also sufficient.
We also tried the Chicken Biryani which was served with a Raita and made to perfection.
All in all a very good experience :)
Extremely wonderful experience.. I went their on my bday and it couldn't have gone better.. Staff extremely Polite and professional and the food so so awesome.. The fish fried platter is a must try.. Paneer too is extremely soft.. Mind boggling experience..
This place has a classic fine dining ambience. It is my personal favourite all-time Family restaurant in town. The menu has a variety of options for you ranging from veg, chicken, fish, mutton. You must try the kebabs. They are mouthwateringly delicious. The staff is extremely polite and service is prompt. This place never disappoints.

Peninsula Peninsula Sion
One of my all time favourites. This place has been consistently good since ages.
I love the crab chilli (though I have not tasted it recently).
Over the years I have tasted many of their food items.
I think most of them taste good and the food quality has been consistent.
The service is great and the staff there are very polite.
Overall, 5 on 5 🙂
Peninsula is one of those restaurants that's stood the test of time - it was around when we were kids, it's around now. It's comfort food literally - it's what we've grown up on.
So when we decided a random visit after all these years, it was a nostalgia trip. We ordered Indian food - Paneer Makhanwala, Dum Alu & a vegetable preparation in green gravy whose name I cannot recall now - I couldn't find it on their menu either. The green gravy vegetable was the highlight of the evening - star a surprise dish. So tasty! I wish I remembered the name, it was yum!
We ordered with this a portion of dal & Paneer Tikka Masal. They were yum, works recommend both.
On the other food, i.e. paneer & dum alu, our tastebuds have evolved. We found the food to be not as tasty as we remember it. The paneer & Dum Alu gravies tasted similar. And that taste was tomato tangy.
We didn't order desserts.
The staff was polite & attentive as we have always remembered it - what a big plus point.
This place is ideal for dinner with family and friends. Subtle ambience, spacious sitting, good service and excellent food. I went here with bunch of friends. All we tried is
1. Spicy crab meat soup (awesome)
2. Chicken manchow soup
3. Cheese garlic toast (one of the best)
4. Paneer Manchurian
5. Chicken Rozali kebab (juicy and cheesy)
6. Chicken lahori kebab
7. Chicken maratha (medium spicy chicken gravy)
8. Chicken lahori
9. Kulcha
10. Cheese garlic naan
All the food items were quality. They serve liquor and cocktails also. I will explore the menu more in next visits. Time well spent here and great experience.
Cheers,
Kedar :)
Just loved the ambience of this place good place opposite to cinemax loved the presentation of the dishes also staff is also quite friendly. We ordered veg crispy with paneer makhani and butter naan loved the soft naan also veg biryani was worth trying.
Will definately visit this place again.
It’s a famous restaurant of Sion, Mumbai. Went there for dinner. Price was a bit high. Ordered paneer tikka, ujala chicken for starter and chicken tawa masala and wheat tandoor roti for main course. Taste was good. Staff were also good.
Peninsula is a very famous name in sion.
All the mumbaikars know about this place.
I have been to peninsula many times before zomatos listings.
It's a very good place with many outlets in same locality.
It has very less veg main course options in fact it needs a menu redesign and they should add more dishes and cuisines to the menu.
They serve really tasty food but need to add more options.
Apart from food this place has amazing seating capacity and great ambience.
In terms of service they lag during rush hours despite of such a good number of service staff. They really need to improve in terms of serving food after it gets ordered during rush hours.
Apart from that this place needs no introduction they serve good food and you will surely enjoy your visit here with friends and family.
Menu is a bit expensive but taste is good.
I would love to visit this place again and have the same experience I am used to have earlier.
Cheers!!
The ambience is good the staff is attentive , was in a hurry so settled with chinese as far as taste is concerned it's good need to try Indian food till then bye
This review is for online orders
I've been ordering from here the past couple of weeks and it's never disappointed. I've focused on their Asian offering - Chop Suey, Hakka Noodles and accompaniments such as Hong Kong Vegetables and Babycorn Mushroom Chilli. I enjoyed them all. The quantity is sufficient for one person and the food is flavourful (my definition of Asian :P). Their dumplings are also nice and the stuffing mixture tastes good with schezwan sauce. I did once order their Paneer Tikka but it disappointed. The food comes well packed (important for Chop Suey). The reason I won't rate the place higher is that it is on the more expensive side.

Since I have joined my new work place two months back, I have been here twice with my team for lunch. Once I visited during Diwali for team lunch, however couldn't get a chance to review it. We visited it again last week and tried more dishes so I have got more dishes on my platter to review. The place is spacious, decent ambience, just like a normal fine dine restaurant. First time we got an opportunity only to try their butter chicken and rotis. Second time when we went, we ordered with couple of starters too.
Non veg starters, we went with reshmi chicken kebab and ujala chicken kebab (the name was interesting so). Reshmi kebab was average, to be frank I have had better version of it. Ujala kebab, as the name sounded interesting so was the taste too, it was cooked properly and the masalas which they used blended well and completely suited my taste buds.
In veg, we ordered magoza mushroom which was an oriental kind of starter and was mentioned on their table top menu. It was made really very well, it was a semi liquid sort of a dish, I would really recommend it to the vegetarians to try this out.
For main course, we ordered butter chicken again, which turned out to be more sweeter than the last time so I didn't like it much. Another dish was chicken rara masala, which was nothing but chicken Keema types. It was an average dish, could have been made better.
This place can be tried for once, cost wise it's a bit on a higher side. Staff is decent enough.
I won't say it's a great place to have food but not a very bad place too.
The butter chicken was delicious. The veg Kadhai and black dal was just so so. Considering, it was a delivery order, some extra leavage points since most rotis turn a bit rubbery by the time they reach you. Decent food and quantity.
Conveniently situated in the middle of sion and right next to PVR cinema
Good place to try nonveg delicacies
We enjoyed spread of choices from Goan to mughalian to Italian
Always a warm pleasant place to entertain family n guest!
Best time to visit: weekdays for dinner post 7.30pm
Superb place in Sion. Visit here for having proper meal as in Indian lunch or dinner. Well groomed staff. Good seating arrangements. Delicious food.
Fine Dining!!!
There is a difference between having food and enjoying food and this restaurant comes in the second one. Classic and professional dining restaurant. Decent but bright and very clean ambience. Courteous, well dressed and polite staff. Soft background music.
Variety of veg and non veg dishes are available. You will see a limited special day menu on the table. At least prefer the starters from there. We ordered Ben Thread Tube Panner and Sizzling Malaca Chicken. Both dishes were delicious and each dish was enough in quantity for two people. They serve alcohol too. Prices for both drinks and food are on higher side (400 per beer bottle and 450 per starter). So place will cost you more than 1000 per head if you are looking for full menu (drink, starter, meal and dessert).
Overall: Suitable place for corporate team lunch/dinner. Not a place for students. Restaurant is on ground floor so I won't prefer this for date too. Otherwise prefer to go with family for dinner.
One of Iconic Restaurants in Sion.
And it never disappoints.
I love this place a lot.
Very Good Food, Good service.
One of the Best Paneer Starters - Paneer Mytho. ( it's not on d Menu cards)
It's so so sooooo tempting.
And then we Ordered for Bamboo Pot Rice, again noh from the Menu card.
Was really different and nice.
Only issue is their staff is in so much hurry.
Overall a Wonderful experience.
The prices keep on increasing everytime I go. The food is good in taste as well as service. Ambience is pleasant. Always crowded on Sundays and weekends
Love their pav bhaji and Punjabi dishes and sabji's.
Good food, good ambience, not very costly, one really gotta struggle fitting in between dining table due to less leg space, panner kohlapuri is good in veg
A nice place,to have dinner with friends and family.starters won't disappoint vegetarian s and nonvegetarians both.paneer was delicious, chicken kebabs were also great.service was quite prompt, staff courteous and professional.ambience is ok.amount of food is great and has value for money.

Famous for its mouth melting paneer. Tried it lately and yes its true. Paneer dishes here are worth a try. A bit over priced. Can comment only on the vegetarian stuff as of now. Shall update about their non vegetarian dishes soon.
Good place for dinner..descent bar, presentation of dishes is very good 👍
We tried veg biryani which was good . Cocktails and mocktails are worth trying .
Only went here as was close by getting a leather jacket made. Had the squid stuffed with minced chicken and mushroom. It was good. Had naan and chicken for the main course. Good lighting and seating at the place. Also both drinks and food menus are extensive. Good experience overall.
I've been coming to this place with my family since more than 10 years....everything is always good...one of my fav things will always be Manchow soup (one of the best manchow soup) and Thai crispy....you can never go wrong with this.
It is a nice udipi restaurant. Enjoyed having food here. This was available till 10.30 pm . Also it was quite crowded. Thus post your Shanmukanand shows this is a better option if getting late. The option and varieties are vey high from pav bhaji to Chinese to Indian Rice options and of course South Indian food. We had pav bhaji , Dosa , masala papad and jaljeera. Pav bhaji was okay . The service was good and it was table to table person available. There is valet parking today . In Sion parking is also a challenge. It is located bang on the highway thus accessibility is far far better. The toilets are okay. The seating place is quite large they have a upper seating which is closed in evening. Cost wise of course it was cheap and hardly anything.
Good Food, Great Service good place in the hustle of the city
I had nice experience in this restaurant. Food was amazing. Nice ambience. Little bit expensive than average. Service was also good. Variety of menu is available. This restaurant serves both veg and non - veg food. There is restaurant next to this 'Peninsula - NXT ' which is pure veg. Must try.
Food is really awesome! All the starters were mind blowing. Didn't like the taste of green Thai curry but otherwise rest of the food was just yum!
Nice ambience and specious restaurant. Valet parking available!
Fine dine place near Sion circle. There are two restaurants, one serves pure veg, the other serves both veg and non-veg. Stopped to grab a quick bite there before boarding train from Dadar. Murg Kothmir Tikka was very tasty, the chicken was tender and flavourful. Onion chicken was also very good. Pesto pasta was also nice. The service is good and ambience is beautiful. Prices are on the higher side but worth the taste, especially for chicken. Parking is a problem as the lane is narrow. Definitely recommended to visit.

Well ….there are two restaurants of peninsula located next to each other ….they have a separate restaurant which serves only vegetarian food ….they are known for their North Indian food….they do serve other cuisines too…we had Mexican rice with exotic veggies, Mexican soup and garlic cheese bread…the food was good
Well we had some tomato soup served with Bread Butter which was good.
Also we tried CHImichangas which was a Mexican appetiser. It was basically a roll stuffed with a filling of cheese and cauliflower. It was served with cheese, salsa and Mexican sauce.
Also the paneer lababdar was relishing. We had some momos which were served fresh and hot. The presentation of food was fantastic. We loved the steamed momos.
Average food. Well made but typically heavy and tasty.
I had a problem digesting it.
Great service. Efficient staff. Good ambience.
Good for parties as well as just dining out.
Valet service is smooth.
Easily accessible pure veg restaurant located at Sion circle. We Visited this place for a Saturday lunch. Ambience and interiors are great. All tables had attractive fresh yellow roses.
They have a North Indian Chinese and Mexican options. Service was fast.
We ordered Masala papad which was good. For drinks we had blue lagoon and orange mojito which were perfectly blended for the hot afternoon. In starters we ordered zaafran and lahsuni tikka and it turned out to be delicious and juicy with adequate spices. Honey chilli potato was great too.
For main course we had vegetable biryani which was average. There were no accompaniment with biryani which was a bit disappointing. However the veg raita we ordered turned out great.
The prices are a bit on higher side (approx 2000₹ for 2).
Overall it was a great lunch and enjoyed!
Nice Food, Good Hall for small functions . The hall also has dance floor with light effects and DJ .
Food - food is very good. Authentic Punjabi and staters . Pure teste . You can order veg 65 hear . Other items will be corn tikki , veg Punjabi , methi paratha , bronie . You will get bread and butter compliment with order of soup
