The KBN kitchens is located at Andheri Lokhandwala. I visited this place for lunch and the provide a great quality food here. I ordered combos in veg it includes roti, sabzi, daal, rice and kaala jam I also ordered one yakhni pulav. It was super tasty and i really had great time at this outlet. One should visit and have a break.

Lucknow in Lokhandwala would be apt for this place. From the kebabs to the Nihari everything was tasty and lip smacking. The mutton stew with the paratha or the yakhni biryani khaoge to ungliyan chaat te reh jaaoge so delicious. The chicken tandoori was so soft and tender by far havenāt enjoyed chicken tandoori so much ever and the Galauti kebab toh yum yum yum. Sheer korma end me kya bolun mazaaaaaa ho aa gaya ššššš

Another speciality of KBN. Good woodsmoke flavor. The kabab literally melts in mouth. Garnished with coriander. The meat has tons of flavor.

Sounds too good to miss! Slow cooked mutton in thick n rich gravy. The gravy was so flavorful and complemented the well cooked mutton. Chopped pieces of chilly increases the spicyness. The paratha and roomali roti were not chewy. The complete package meal.
In summary a good value spot.
Lets start with service.. even thought the briyani was finished Amman (person in charge of restaurant) arranged to get me the fresh chicken briyani in no time from their main kitchen.

Hi. Had ordered mutton galawati kebabs. Believe me it's the same authentic taste of Lucknow. Melt in the mouth kebabs. Mutton so soft and right amount of spices. So I'll start by saying I'm a big meat lover and I've tried all kinds of biryanis and curries in my time and this place truly blew it out of the ballpark.
One of the things I adored the most about the place was how authentic and cozy it felt.
The highlight of my experience was the Galouti Kebab with paratha which was cooked in a way that the meat was still tender enough to melt like cream in your mouth.
The Mutton Nihari was mouth watering and the right level of spicy. The biryani was fabulous as well and the portions were really good.
To top the entire experience off, we ended with some delightfully delicious Sheer.
All in all, an incredible experience and a must visit with the family. :)

Somebody was ordering lunch and i requested that person to add a dish for me. That gentleman ordered mutton biryani from here.
Since then ive been a regular. I have suggested this place to many and taken many of friends who in turn have become returning customers with their friends and relatives.
I don't know WHAT IS NOT GOOD from the menu.
After eating from KBN, I can say that the chef understands food and knows the final effect of each ingredient used. This can be felt after eating. Also NO FOOD HAS THE SYNTHETIC FEEL.
Each dish has its innocent "bawarchi" feel AND NOT OF READY TO USE raw material.
I spend more on travelling to this place as compared to the food bill.
The owners take interest in your eating, are concerned rather than just selling and serving on the table.
Ambience is decent, family friendly place though not very large or fancy. But their competence is food at which they are uncomparable.

We had Mutton Galawti Kebab, Khichda and Mutton Nihari with paratha and believe you me you have never had such an awesome dish anywhere.
Galawti truly is soft and mushy with oozing with flavor
Khichda would actually make you in love with khichdi( I actually despise Khichdi but this dish has literally made me changed my mind) and yes the nihari was perfectly coming out of the bone with just a single fork.

I recently ordered from KBN Kitchens. Being raised in Delhi, Galauti Kebabs were a delicacy and something I'd eat often. However, I never found any place in Mumbai offering something of the equivalent quality in the last 5 years.Ā
In comes, KBN! I ordered:Ā
1. Mutton Galauti Kebabs - Amazing, kebabs which melt in the mouth. The meat was so soft and flavourful. Loved it to the core.Ā
2. Mutton Shammi - These were pretty good too. A little too crisp for my liking but I enjoyed it.
3. Nihari - This took me back to Delhi for a second. Amazing Nihari with the meat falling off the bone.
I'd recommend ordering these with a roomali roti which is light, so it doesn't fill you up too much, but at the same time creates a fulfilling meal.
For folks out there on Keto diet, I confirmed that in their Gaulati, they use about 2Kgs of meat and add just a few spoons of Besan so that the Kebab holds together. This might be a perfect meal for a cheat day!
All in all, amazing experience and definitely ordering again and trying more items from here.

By Far the best Lucknowi food I ever had in Mumbai.
Exceptional taste, the Lucknowi Tehzeeb of Lucknow, economical price - and you get all that in the Lokhandwala Matket!
This was our 1st visit to much heard of KBN kitchens. Went late on a Monday night and we were lucky to find a place and also the host Mr Fareed. We left to him to decide for us based on whatās best there.
We started with lip smacking Haleem - perfectly cooked Mutton pieces, garnished with mint leaves and lemon, served hot. I was having Haleem after good 15+ years and last time was in Lucknow. Thanks to KBN, i am reminded of how good Haleem can be.
The start raised our expectations.
Next comes the Gilauti Kawab and Paratha. Soft,good smell and the 1st bite was just heavenly.
Mind you all - we were not in Lucknow - we were in Lokhandwala. My wife and I just loved the kawabs and our 3 years old son also approved of it by asking for more after every bite. This has to be the best Gilauti kawab in Mumbai.
We also had Chicken Qorma / tender chicken leg piece in a gravy which reminds of home made food.
To cap it off, we were served with Sheer Qorma - made by the ownerās wife we were told. It tasted just like what we have in Eid at our homes.
This was a dinner we will cherish for long and a restaurant we will be frequenting the most.
The overall experience gets even better when the Owner sits with all guests and makes the atmosphere just like home by ensuring guests are taken care of.
We were told that the entire staff including chef and helpers are from Lucknow.
People in Andheri West and nearby - you are lucky to have KBN in your area - I will have to make more trips from east to west now.

Ordered š Chicken Galauti kebab, Chicken Qorma & Paratha, and in dessert Shahi Tukda.
Chicken Galauti was not awesome but good to taste.
Chicken Qorma and Paratha was mind blowing.
Shahi tukda is worth trying as it was just perfect, not too sweet. But priced too high for the quantity of Shahi tukda.
They have very tiny seating area which can accommodate not more then 7-8 I believe.
If you are not getting time to visit, make sure to place delivery š order.

lovely kheer. parathas were not that good. looking forward to having some more items on the menu. quantity could be increased. the combo is wholesome.

KBN kitchen is located in busy streets of Lokhandwala market just opposite to dominos pizza the place is little tricky to locate but we spotted it quickly with google maps.. it's a small quick service outlet with a small compact menu which have a essence of authentic Awadhi cuisine

finely minced mutton keema with very mild nawabi spices shallow fried in a patties shape melts in your mouth in no time. its a must try here
mutton nihari
good quality meat cooked for more than 8hr in a traditional style will definitely give u a feel of Hyderabadi in mumbai
chicken biryani
for me when it comes to biryani the quility of rice is on priority which they passed successfully..but the flavours could have been more better
mutton seekh kebab
this one is again a must try over here...moist & crispy mutton seekh kebab having a smokey flavour
overall good place for people who want to try the actual Awadhi food but I feel they should expand their menu and experiment with more flavours

If you were craving for an absolutely Lucknowi cuisine with zero tollerance for variations, THIS IS THE PLACE. My hunt of 15 years. Reapeat 15 Years in mumbai for a 100% typical Lucknowi shammi kebabs was finally over this evening. That too pretty accidentally. I just walked in. Same meaning same taste. Not even similar. Same texture, same ingredients, same garnisishings same presentation. Ordered mutton korma with rumali roti in main course. Was pleasantly surprised to get a nostalgic whiff of Aminabad and Hazratganj righ here in lokhandwala, mumbai.
What made the experience more complete was an equally befitting and very genuine Lucknowi nazakat of the restaurant owner. Sweet, warm and genuine. He has started this highly niched restaurant by choice and not as a commercial venture i could understand this much abundantly, later confirmed by him.
I noticed him with other guests. He has this thing to serve personally despite coming from a hardcore profesional and corporate background... Impressive. His galauti and #shammiKebabs are a must eat.
Spices are typically authentic awadhi. A dash of kevda in kebabs and korma satiated a puritan "spice fussy" foodie in me.
If you love avadhi and mughalai cuisine, your tryst with lucknow delicacies is over. (i specially flew down twice to Lucknow to satiate my shammi kebab craving !!! )
Iam surprised despite not being so liberal with Compliments, i am putting down all of this.. (And "marinated" the owner with a barage of compliments as well) :)

This place is for the hard core non veg eaters and the food over here is with a touch and flavour of UP! We started off with the authentic galouti kebab (chicken and mutton) and they were delicious, creamy and spicy! The parathas were freshly made and were pretty big in size. Next we ordered Nalli nihari, not a mutton fan though the taste of the gravy was too good! Finally we had Awadhi chicken biryani, light spicy with all the masalas mixed with the rice (as thatās how itās made in UP, just like yakhni pulav) A small place but definitely a must try to please your taste buds!

I visited this place on a friend's suggestion that it served authentic Lucknowi food. I was happily surprised with the service and ambience; the biryani and meat kebabs were just made right. Luckily, the owner of the place, an entrepreneur, was present who told me that the utensils and the cook have been brought in from Lucknow. This place is great for hangout with friends too. 5 stars for impressing me with everything I was looking for :)
Loved the food, especially Mutton khichda, weekend special recipe. I an gonna be a regular visitor. I visited once now ordered the same online.

They showcase some very authentic offerings. Name is also interesting derived from Kababs, Biryani and Nehari.
Easily reachable as located in lokhandwala market. Ambiance is okay. The indoor and outdoor settings. Outdoor seating with comfy chairs and table. The indoor interior is not a great experience, need to work on ambiance and colors.
Analysis

Well seasoned meat and the mix of the spices. Accompanied mint chutney equally good. The combination paired well with a side of onion salad. The kabab really soft and perfectly cooked. Recommended!

Another speciality of KBN. Good woodsmoke flavor. The kabab literally melts in mouth. Garnished with coriander. The meat has tons of flavor.
š¹Mutton Nihari with paratha n roomali roti-
Sounds too good to miss! Slow cooked mutton in thick n rich gravy. The gravy was so flavorful and complemented the well cooked mutton. Chopped pieces of chilly increases the spicyness. The paratha and roomali roti were not chewy. The complete package meal.
In summary a good value spot.
This time we wanted to try something different .so we visited this restaurant. And we were not at all disappointed. The owner of the restaurant welcomed us warmly. We had chicken shammi kabab , nalli nihari and chicken biryani . Kabab and nalli nihari were awesome. Biryani was regular. But it was good. The owner recommended us takhtani roti with nalli nihari which was a very right combination. I might have pronounced the roti name not correctly but I might be pretty close. If you want to try some good reasonable awadhi food .then pay a visit here . Your tummy and pocket will be very happy.
The food is really amazing and very tasty. I had ordered Mutton Galawati Kebab and Mutton biryani and they were absolutely fantastic. The food was delivered fresh and warm. The packaging was good and there were no leaks or spills whatsoever. I would definitely recommend people to try the food at this place. The menu is also quite diverse and there are plenty options to choose from.
So I'll start by saying I'm a big meat lover and I've tried all kinds of biryanis and curries in my time and this place truly blew it out of the ballpark.
One of the things I adored the most about the place was how authentic and cozy it felt.
The highlight of my experience was the Galouti Kebab with paratha which was cooked in a way that the meat was still tender enough to melt like cream in your mouth.
The Mutton Nihari was mouth watering and the right level of spicy. The biryani was fabulous as well and the portions were really good.
To top the entire experience off, we ended with some delightfully delicious Sheer.
All in all, an incredible experience and a must visit with the family. :)

Well, being a foodie and lover of tandoor and kebabs, we don't wanted to visit our regular restaurant in and around Andheri lokhandwala and here with Google search we got KBN Kitchen, without reading review just with name Kebab Biryani Nahari we decided to give a try. With warm friendly gesture and welcome from Mr. Fareed made us comfortable enough that we didn't looked at menu and went totally with his recommendation Gehlawati Kebab with Ulta Tawa ka Paratha, Khichda and Nahari with Kaftan (roti) end with sheerKurma.
The good quality of mutton cooked well with spice and herbs in kebabs Khichda and Nahari and perfect combo with Pratha and Kaftan roti made our day.

They have got some really awesome biryaani as well as fast food.
We had the chicken combo meal which consisted of kebab, paratha , biryaani and korma with kheer.
It was a perfect combo worth the price.
They do take catering and party orders as well at really reasonable rates .
KBN kitchen at Lokhandwala has got really good biryaani and kebabs too.
The chicken tikka biryaani was too good and even the chicken malai tikka .
