Had gone out with my family. ordered many dishes but my personal favorite was chicken teriyaki. Also in seafood I recommend to order prawns. It was yummm.

I liked this place. Very accessible as it's in a prime location. Has a good crowd, unlike the remaining bar cum restaurants. Nice seating arrangements, sober lighting and simple ambience. Food is average and can do even better. Service is extremely good with courteous staff. You can get your family here.
Swagat dining bar is located near the express highway. The crowd is of mostly students because of classes located nearby. The best thing about this place is sea food and the service. The bad thing about this place is it is very costly.

Best restaurant in terms of food and service...Food- 8/10, Service- 9/10... lollypop tandoori is best amongst starters...we found slightly expensive than other restos...not bad if you want to enjoy few drinks
The best thing to visit here is in the evening after 7 pm since it has open roof top to sit and you can enjoy your drink on the air. service,staff and food are also good.

One of my colleague highly recommended this place and it doesn't disappoint you. It's a local drinking place and a family restaurant. Alcohol is cheap and can buy by the nip/bottle. Their food is amazing! Love their stuffed mirchi (paneer or chicken), aloo dhingri is good as well. Their tandoor chicken is something everyone loves. Do try!
Ordered murg lahori. Stuff paratha and egg biryani. All were good. Biryani could be improved but good by vakola standards. Ordered via zomato..parcel was delivered on time. Good delivery service.
Don't understand the low ratings. They always deliver, and the food is almost always satisfactory. The staff is courteous and they definitely know how to keep their regulars happy. Hope the reviews of stale or bad food were unfounded.

I ordered murg banjara masala, butter rotis and rice. As it was home delivery, was expecting for the food to go a little cold, but it was piping hot. The taste was such a perfect blend! Such a delight!
Don't feel reluctant when you enter the restaurant, because it's visited by people of all kinds. Once you enter their AC section you won't even realize you're in Vakola.
I was a frequent visitor in the past 1 and a half year since it's located right next to my last organization. I've never been disappointed in terms of food here whether it's veg or non veg everything is freshly prepared and tastes really great.
While you're here do try their Chicken Lollypops, Chicken Barbeque Fried rice and chicken tandoori.

I've been a frequent visitor since 2 years only because this place is right next to my ex office and was a convenient option on Friday nights.
The staff is friendly, the ambience is okay-ish. They have an AC family room downstairs as well as a terrace seating. However, you cannot avail the terrace seating unless you're a guy. Due to reasons still not known to me! :/
So if you're looking for cheap booze, decent food and you don't really care about the kind of crowd that's around, it's a good option.
Also, if you happen to visit, do try the Paneer Mussallam here. I'm a fan.
Absolutely love the BBQ Chicken Rice!!! It's spicy and tangy and my pallette is so satisfied after eating that! Also the chicken starters are amazing!! Definitely a great place to eat!
The dinning bar seems to be newly renovated. The service is good and also the food. We had a triple schezwan chicken rice and was really well prepared. also the A/C dinning section has maybe a 32 inch lcd screen so is quite a good location to hangout to watch a match or so.

Perfect bar atmosphere, a bit bright though which isn't bad. Booze isn't expensive at all. Beer for 180 for 650ml bottle, old monk quarter at 180 too.
Don't miss the tandoori chicken. It's one of the best I've ever tried. Very juicy and tender chicken with perfect amount of spices.
Order from here every now and then.
Good range of options to choose from, the Indian food is amazing, indo-chinese lacks a bit, but the service is quick, the guy on the phone is really nice, and keeps recommending new things to try, which turn out to be great. For the non vegetarians, the chicken hari mirch kebab is great. A must try. Really really spicy. Veggies, stick with the mushroom dishes.

Swagat can be considered as my second home during weekdays. Be it Lunch or drink time post work it would be always there in my list of places to eat out. Their Daal Kichdi and Chicken Lollipop are worth a try. I just love them.

Was coming back from a trip and it was around 12:00 clock I had no option to go any where else so I thought why not give this place a try I parcelled a triple schezwan rice and Hakka noodles both the dishes were very nice and had a fast service.
That typical local restaurant which offers amazing seafood. We'd placed a home delivery for a surmai fry, a pomfret fry, a mutton masala and Chinese. All these dishes were up to the mark. The Chinese was a bit oily though. So if you're looking for that local sea food restaurant, try swagat.

A garlic and cheese sandwich... Was wonderful... Esp the crunchy roasted garlic with grated processed cheese. Add to that a peg of Old Monk with cola good combination in 240 rs... Loved the ambiance of this place would like to come here again and again...
Quite a good place. Ambience was good. This place is open till a bit late which is good. Serves yummy Butter Chicken and the Murg Massalam is the best buy when more than 3 people are eating. The quantity is good and the food is yummy. Worth the price. A little bit expensive though. But overall a good place.

Among food, ambiance and service, ambiance takes the beat. Food is above average. Service is way better than one would expect. Servicemen are very friendly. For its proximity to both, my workplace and residence, I call it my second home. They have non-ac hall with TV. An AC hall inside for when you are with Ladies as companion. But my favorite is roof top, which starts after 6:30 in the evening. Its spacious, its breezy. You can talk out loud when in large group. A cool place to spend evening with colleagues.
Food, they are innovative. Must have here in starter is Chicken Hara MIrcha. Have it with lemon. If you cant handle even little beat of heat, keep ketchup as a backup. But I bet, once you start, you wont stop. I have not found this dish anywhere else.
For main course, Chicken dum biryani is light and filling. Chicken items in gravy to be ordered are chicken patiyala, afgani etc. Have malai Kulfi for dessert.
If you are in the vicinity, and looking for a non-sophisticated, casual dining/drinking, hop in. Its right off WEH at Vakola intersection.
Had been there once for a takeaway order. And had ordered food from there again. One thing to notice here is that the Naan is good ! Soft and buttery. The Butter. Chicken is too sweet while the Chicken Tikka Masala is very good. Though less number of chicken pieces. The Chicken Triple Rice is generous in portion and tastes good and so does the Veg Triple Rice. They can work with adding more flavors particularly for spicy dishes.
You may not visit, but get the food delivered. Good budget food on an IPL eve.

We were seated in the AC dining area which is comfortable. Good food, Veg & Non food both quality and quantity is good, reasonable drinks and fast service. Do try the stuffed kulcha with curd. You would be amazed with the quality of curd for sure. Kadhai paneer, dal makhani and chicken tangdi are popular stuffs here.

The Upgrade! Located just ~0.5km from my place, I always intended to visit this place however been perturbed that it was only good serving cheap alcohol and the good will be a waste. Much to my dismay on my first visit, the food was good, quantity was sufficient, pricing satisfactory although it still is popular alcohol joint. My friend and I ordered were no mood to settle for some less good and seem to have the maximum. We headed to their AC section and started with the orders. Their menu is vast catering to Indian, Chinese and Oriental. We ordered for our drink and in the meanwhile we ordered two masala papds, panner pakoda and hara bhara kebab for starters. The quantity is adequate while the taste matched many in the neighbourhood. Much to our surprise, there were good numbers of teetotalers. After nearing savouring the food and drinks for an hour, we ordered the main course. We ordered for a panner dish, dal fry, garlic naan and methi parathas. Quanity wise it is surplus while the pricing isn’t pinching. Taste is decent. Despite being a popular ‘theka’ the food is food and adequate for 3. Service wise they score extra points. I intend to return here again.

Good food though a little oily and spicy. The menu is so very vast, you get so much to choose from. Order takes about 45 minutes for delivery and will cost about 500 for 2 people. We ordered for some paneer and murg tandoori half with some Roti's. The food comes with mint chutney and lot n lot of cut onions and pickle. Value for money if you are planning to order and eat at home.

As compared to most bars this place is pretty well lit. Ambiance is ok and nothing to rave about. But clean nonetheless.
But the place scores heavily on food! We had the regular chindian fare which came on tops. The fried rice, schezwan sauce and the manchurian was all impeccable. not too spicy not too oily! just right. Service was good and the prices are quite ok as well. And they had tonic water in CANS! such a welcome relief.

Swagat's location at the corner of vakola main road and the highway makes it a convenient place to drop by. Ignore the outside seating and head straight into the AC section. The alcohol is reasonably priced, the food is pretty decent and is clean. Fans of Indian Chinese will be right at home here and the portions are pretty good. The rice papads (ask for kheecha papad) is kickass and worth a try.
