Normal place to have all things. I love their potato vada. We had jeera rice with daal fry and it was delicious and also good in quantity. Also we had pavbhaji but it was below expectations. This place is not heavy on pocket. I will visit soon to try their other dishes.
Omg I love this place. We eat here several times on every visit to Mumbai. It a small unassuming veg place, every dish I've tried is lovely, the lassi and the malai kofta the best I have ever had. Incredibly cheap, very attentive and quick service.
If you are in Masjid Market & you are looking for Veg Food then New Jai Hind is one of the known and best place....small place but great ambience...specially for Thali, dosa & best Cheese Pav Bhaji is just Wow...

Being a south Indian it's a hard challenge for me to have south Indian dishes small places like this. But I don't regret this as I had an amazing experience here, though the place is very small ambience is ok.
I ordered sada mysore dosa which was delicious along with that sambhar n chutney was also tasty. I don't know about the other dishes but yes cheers to the south Indian dishes.
RECOMMENDED!!! OVERALL RATING-7/10
This is outlet located near masjid station , towards crawford market. A okay eating out veg joint. We ordered Maharaja Thali for 150 bucks. The thali was worth it. The paneer curry , the chana masala , tandoori rotis , pulao and fruit custard with vanilla icecream was good. This place can improve as their menu has lot of varieties. Should try if you are in crawford area.
My only source in a deadly area
We had a good experience here. Service was good and courteous. They were always ready to serve. They were neat tidy and prompt to serve. All Tiffin's they serve are good to to taste. The pricing was very reasonable.bit is centrally located in the market junction. No parking available as it is on the main road itself.
Good veg restaurant in masjid bandar. All veg dishes specially snacks and starters are available.
It's a good restaurant for vegetarians, they serve top quality authentic South and North indian vegetarian food. Restaurant is neet and not too busy. Prise is also affordable. If you are searching for pure vegetarian thali in masjid bandhar then this the best place to be
New Jaihind Restaurant presented an average experience with its Cheese Dosa and Fried Idli offerings. The Cheese Dosa, a traditional pancake filled generously with melted cheese, was a pleasant variation of the classic dish. However, while it was enjoyable, it didn't leave a lasting impression due to a lack of exceptional flavor or uniqueness. The Fried Idli, on the other hand, showcased an interesting twist on the traditional idli, being fried to a crisp exterior while retaining its softness within. Although it added an element of texture, it didn't stand out as a remarkable dish. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and provided a comfortable setting for dining. Yet, what truly stood out was the commendable service. The staff was attentive, accommodating, and friendly, contributing positively to the overall dining experience.
I ordered premium thali and had an expectation of at least one paneer delicacy. Contrary to my belief I could not find any paneer dish on my plate. To add to further irony no papad was served either. The food was also average. Overall an average experience
If you are craving for some amazing South Indian delicacies in South Mumbai do try new jai hind restaurant at Mohammed ali road. Specials are chole puri and puri bhaji which is a must try we ordered rava sada dosa, cheese sada dosa and mysore sada dosa which was just amazing. The price is also cheap and worth it.
Good food. I tried many noth Indian dishes. I liked the keema pav which was delicious. Waiters were so polite. There is good seating capacity even a big group of 100 can accomodate.

Very typical restaurant in the bazar area of Bombay. The masala dosa I had for lunch was excellent and cheap and the service kind and quick. It serves traditional South Indian dishes.
It's a veg restaurant 10 mins walking from masjid bunder station
Good for a quick brunch also you can have lunch and dinner here
It's very good hotel and budget friendly,
Basic thali is 100 good for 1 person but if you want more variety go for maharaja thali in just rs 250 including icecream fruit salad..
I had my breakfast here today. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. All the dishes seem good. Nice place to visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very clean hotel and food quality was good.
The staff was very sober and well behaved.
