I generally prefer places with dark lights and good ambience and this place is one of the kind. The starters here are mouth watering and the western music keeps you engrossed.

This is our "to go" place. The mughlai food is good. Specially the kebabs. The pizzas are good too. We dont really enjoy the Chinese cuisine here. Nachos are yum.

Over all a decent place. Cubano has a pub like feel to it. No dance floor though. Has a great bar and sheesha options. Curry leaf, which is a part of it has a more family dining kind of feel to it. Food was good, but service a bit slow. Good money's worth.

Liked the atmosphere of this place. Hukka, booze and karaoke, along with some good food (though I personally did not each much). Perfect blend of what I like. Music was good, place decent and the crowd was totally enjoying themselves in a calm, yet high way. Go for it.

Me and my friend was hunting for a cafe that could serve pasta at Vile Parle East. Then, found a cafe Named cafe CUBANO AND CURRY LEAF nearby station. I ordered Exotic Veg spaghetti with pesto sauce, it was very very delicious. If you are in Vile Parle and craving for pasta then you should definitely try this place. The place is divided into 2; Downstairs it's CUBANO and upstairs there's this CUR@RY LEAF(Family Dining).

This place is really chilled out. Services we got was on point. We had sheesha, which we really liked it and to be honest it was worth. Staff members were friendly and really good at their work, specially the bartender, that person is full of vibe. The seating area is also nice they have a different section for bar and another section for family restaurant. Food is also nice but with the kind of sheesha and drinks they give, you wouldn't need to order for food. We also witnessed karaoke night over there, which was really nice. They had almost all the songs, even the songs from 80s. It was really great to see so many people enjoy singing and their drinks. Well that place has something which keeps telling us to come back. If anyone who likes a cozy and a place where they want to chill without getting judged then I must say that this is the place where everyone should head.

What you get is big screen, fantastic music, nice ambience, very good service and above all drinks at very reasonable prices. It's become regular place to go with friends. You also get chakhna options unlike other places who don't serve chana and peanuts:)
Food is decent. Decor not up to the mark with a very bad playlist of songs. Have used just fancy lights to give it a look like most of the cafés do. A place where cocktails won't burn a hole in your pockets !
This is a newly opened cafe/disc/bar/resto (well, it's a bit of everything) in Vile Parle East. There's a cafe on the ground floor that serves good food and plays terrific music in the night. With its bar-like ambience and some alcohol in your tummy, your hips and legs surely go along with the mood.
There's also a family restaurant on the first floor and a party area where you can organise a party for 30 odd people.
All and all, undoubtedly one of the best places in the area.

Great place but little overprice for their delivery in food. I felt the quantity is super less. The ambience is great but they could manage to keep some space between each tables. The place was little light for a Friday night but I found the music great.

Finally a nice place to chill in vile parle east, Which is soo close to the station. The interiors kindoff look like a pub but it is a cafe, it is a bit of both. Good ambiance and interios. The food here is the bomb😍.
We ordered a alfredo pasta, a small mexican pizza and a tandoori sizzler. Quantity was good and the taste was fantastique. (You need to try their pizzas) For people in sathey and dhanukar college this is the best place to hangout and it is quite reasonable too.
The first lounge in Vile Parle East! A welcome change form all the ccds and Batista's. Pretty basic setup with good food, good alcohol and streaming matches on the projector. I've tried the veg food here...And I must say it's good. The smoking area is a balcony on the first floor and usually quite empty.

One of the very few happening places in vile parle east...Café Cubano strikes your attention when you walk past it. With such loud music..EDM and bollywood mixed.. It really has good vibes when it comes to music.
The ambience is however disappointing. They could work on it.
Live screening of matches on the big screen is available and makes a good option for a weekend football match.
The music which is amazing...however can sometimes be a negative as it is too loud especially near the tables besides the speakers.
There's a restaurant Curry Leaf on the first floor which is more suitable for families.
We ordered,
The Kalimirch chicken tikka and chilly chicken. Both of which were really delicious. The Tikka was perfectly barbecued and full of taste. Chilly chicken had the right amount of spices, capsicum and chicken.
In the main course,
Mutton Rara! This is one of the best mutton dishes I've had in restaurants. Tender boneless pieces of mutton mixed with mutton kheema. Mutton was well cooked!
Try this with Cheese Garlic Naan!
We also tried the Nariyal Mirch Jhinga coupled with steamed rice! If you're a fan of coconut based prawn curry with rice..then this is worth it!
For beverages I had the cookie dough. I've had better...and this tasted like parle G biscuits mixed with milk. So avoid it.
The staff is lousy. The service is slow! Takes a lot of time for your meal to be served.
Pricing is not top costly. Decent for what they have to offer.
In conclusion, café cubano is a place which definitely won't disappoint you when it comes to food.

I guess, Cafe Cubano is the only café/lounge in Vileparle east area. Very near to station. Good ambience.
Curry Leaf is a nice place for family get-together. Good food. Must try Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce. The main drawback is service is slow. They need to remind everytime to get the food.

Like it is mentioned in the previous reviews, This place is truly what vile Parle needed..a perfect place for watching matches as they have screens placed on the ground floor combined with feet tapping music..if u want to enjoy a quiet meal with family den please head upstairs..Food is also very delicious.have been here more than once and I can say their food is very tasty be it their perfect tandoori roti combined with mouth wagering vegetable delicacies or their scrumptious portions for pizza and pasta which is rich and creamy in taste..although they could try improving their nachos, they are tooo dry..booze is also reasonably priced..

Totally agree with most of the reviews here on Zomato that this is indeed a hidden gem when it comes to good food!
Situated opposite the iconic Shivsagar restaurant in Vile Parle (E), this is a must visit place. We actually had planned to go to some other restaurant but decided to come here at the last minute and believe me it turned out to be a good decision indeed!
They have a pub on the ground floor which plays very very loud music, but the real fun is on the first floor where they have placed their gastronomic heaven!
The decor on the first floor is pretty basic with even paint peeling off in some places. But if you manage to ignore all that and concentrate on the food, you are in for a good time.
We ordered chutney paneer tikka (superb soft paneer) and tandoori chicken (good) for starters.
Then for the main course we ordered the Greeky pizza which was absolutely lip smacking good. Think crisp base with lots of cheese and toppings baked to perfection. This was indeed a surprise as we hadnt really expected to have such a good pizza here. It was so good that we ordered another pizza. An Italiano this time. This one was equally amazing and vanished off the plate in a quicky!
We also tried the veg sizzler and that too was really yummy. In all everything that was placed in front of us was incredibly tasty! Really honest good food.
They need to only work on the decor of the place and this could turn out to be a fantastic option for great food in and around Vile Parle (East).

This place is great! I visited cafe cubano last week with my friends. The interiors are amazing, you see the bar right when you enter. Food is amazing. We ordered nachos, pizza, veg crispy, hakka noodles, pasta in white sauce and all of these were delcious.

A hidden gem in Parle East.
The ground floor is usually for youngsters trying to have fun. Dimly lit. A big screen for sports.
Loud music.
The 1st floor is more of family oriented. Since I had gone with family friends we sat upstairs.
The food was amazing. Did not expect such good food here. Tried lots of things over there.
Fussili pasta with mix sauce -
We loved it so much. The balance was sauce was perfect. Sauce was super creamy. Really tasty.
Spaghetti in Mix sauce -
After having the Fussili we ordered one more round of pasta because it wss really good. Felt the portion size of this was a little less. Nonetheless the taste covered it up.
Italiano Pizza -
Topped with olives tomato and mushroom this was a really good thin crust pizza.
Nachoes -
They were okayish could use some improvements.
Honey chilly potato -
If you tell them not to put honey and only make it chilly potato they do it. And the taste is amazing. Do try it.
Chilly cheese naan -
Same as it is at any restaurant.

Cafe Cubano comes Hidden Gold Mine in the Crowded Vile Parle (E) Zone. Particularly on the outside of the outlet its pretty noisy but once you enter inside, its a different world altogether.
The Place is a bit dark but not shady, chilled out music, good decor, big screen, lots of booze at Eco prices.
Also, has two Zones, Ground Floor for casual/youngters -LOUD Music and 1st floor for family people - NO Music. Kindly extreme which could be balanced.
Except for a little lost staff which could use some training on the food ingredients, the place is near perfect.
Also, ideal for watching Sports on their well placed screens which covers from most angles.
The food is average and it could use some improvements, specially the Nachos !

My colleague and I went here for lunch. I kept my expectations low because it's that kind of a place. We ordered shashlik sizzler and pasta. I think they added ketchup to pasta. If you are not looking for authentic food, you can try this one.
Under Rated term. Fits just perfectly here. Cafe cubano and curry leaf both offer very conteasting yet brilliant ambience. Cafe Cubano is more about loud music exactly how an cafe should be whereas curry leaf is more of a quiet place. Menu however remains the same. Chutney Paneer Tikkha was good and very refreshing. Veg dum biryani was good but was slightly sweet. Overall food is good and ambience is brilliant.

I can easily say , this is the best restaurant I've found in Mumbai so far. Had Indian main course-veg&non veg as well as fast food , everything was great. The ambience is amazing and service good. Reasonably priced alcohol to compliment the delicious food.

Decent place very close to vile parle station. Two floors.. ground floor for bar and good music while first floor for quite dinner. Service is decent and food is good. Non veg eaters loved fish fingers. Drinks available but are a bit expensive.
Situated near parla east railway station on the noisy Nehru Road. They play nice Bollywood music but pretty loud if you are sitting downstairs. On the first floor there is a family section, good place to have some starters and a couple of drinks over some nice gupshup. The rates are not that sky rocketing and the food is decent. The chicken crispy and chicken lollipop were really good. The pizza base was too thin , not as filling as a shiv sagar pizza( other pizza joints are way too better) . A good experience over all. I have been here three times recently. There's a noisy bar downstairs, with calmer surroundings on the first floor.
We prefer the upstairs seating. They have LCD screens showing the crappy IPL.
The good:
Drinks are very reasonably priced
Service is efficient and reasonably polite
Staff keeps refilling the complimentary cheeselings served with the drinks
Seating is comfortable. ambiance is pleasant
The masala papad and the masala peanuts were excellent
Scope for improvement:
The pizza we tried was pretty bad. The base was hard and the toppings were just average.
The honey chilli potatoes didn't quite measure up - more honey needed.
Overall, this is a nice place in Parla East, to unwind over a few drinks. Nothing extraordinary, but certainly a decent joint.
I do recommend it if in the area.

We had dinner at Curry leaf just now and the experience was immensely satisfying.We began with 3 soups-Lemon coriander with chicken,Mexican corn and Manchow.All were great.The starters-Tandoori jeera aloo and Chicken achari bites were tantalising.Even the mint green chutney was finger licking good.Then came the mutton dum biryani,cheese aloo kulcha and burnt garlic fried rice with prawns.The kulcha just melted in the mouth.Both the rice dishes were excellent.The service was courteous too.The prices are not extravagant.In all,a restaurant which is worth visiting again and again.

Lovely place and good food..also they have live screening of sports events. My only problem eith this place is they play music at a very high volume and refuse to reduce it even if many customers are not comfortable with it.
