Sindhu Sweets as the name suggests is one of the best place where you will get amazing sindhi sweets and mouthwatering sindhi snacks. My personal favourite is Daal Pakwaan, Samosa Chole, Sev Barfi, Pattice Chole and Moongdal Sheera.
I really love love love Pista barfi and the Brown buggi barfi it's actually what I tried here for the first time which I hadn't tried anywhere before but I tried it and can't stop myself from purchasing it again and again
One of the few Sindhi snacks and sweet restaurant at Khar west near Railway station. Samosa chola, pattice, mix pakodas,Dal pakwan, Gulab jamun and moong dal halwa are available daily for more than 40 years. They also have different types of sweets made from pure ghee.
Best place to have a breakfast and sweets.
Been a loyal customer since 20+ years , glad zomato delivered the food within 10 min of ordering !
Excellent taste and value for money.
Tried the typical Sindhi breakfast, Dal Pakwan and Chole samosa .
Sindhu is also known for its lip smacking sweets !
Amaing seera n dal pakwan n sev barfi😊
Sindhu Sweets, It's quite an old place and is known for its sweets. It's at a walking distance from Khar station. Whenever I am in the vicinity, my favorite things to have over here are their "Chole Samosas". Yes, they are piping hot and worth every single penny. I am yet to try their Dal Pakwan, which I soon will. Otherwise do visit it, if you are in the area.

Sindhu Sweets is a 3rd generation Halwai, now run by Mr. Ashok, who said his grandfather Newandram Guloomal had a shop in Sultanpur Pakistan, and they shifted their business after Pakistan to Marine lines after Partition. Mr. Ashok, says that he still has customers who used to frequent their shop in Pakistan. But it is perhaps the oldest sweets place in the street. This place when comes to ambiance does not offer much attraction, it is will just look like an ordinary place where people have their everyday snacks with a plywood -wooden plank type of table and seatings. They have 2-3 tables inside and can accommodate 8-10 people, however you can stand out and eat too. Coming straight to food, this place has the most awesome Dal Pakwan and a moong dal sheera loaded with ghee, and if you have it for breakfast, you won’t get hungry in-between till lunch time. They also serve delicious chole and Sindhi Samosa too. The service of this place is very quick. Overall if you love sindhi food n snacks then this is the place for you to relish without burning a hole in your pocket. .

Authentic Sindhi food. Sunday daal pakwan is a must. Do try it out. Very famous in khar West especially for breakfast and sweets. All the food items are worth trying
Friendly staff and one can eat there as well
Love this place, pure sindhi food and sweets shop, do try kaju katri and mava barfi
Cholle pattice and Dal pakwan
Must try for a sindhi taste
This place is near by khar railway station.. You should try the best sindhi authentic breakfast Dal Pakwan. And you should try kajukatri and other sweets. They maintain proper hygiene.
This place is located 2 mins away from Khar station. They have 2-3 table. They are mostly popular in sweets. Kaju katri, rasgulla are must try. Ragda patties and chole Samosa, you can fall in love with them. It is a must try from this place
Let the aroma of freshly fried pakwans lead you to Sindhu Sweets, which is located at a two minute walk from Khar railway station. This sweet shop specializes in a few Sindhi dishes such as Dal Pakwaan, Aloo Tuk, Sindhi Kadhi Chawal, and more. Most of these are weekly specials and only available on a Sunday morning.
My favourite is their Dal Pakwaan - chana daal served with a drizzle of chutney and chopped onions on top. This is mopped up with a deep fried, crisp, large puri called a pakwaan. The combination is hearty, satiating and makes for that perfect Sunday indulgence.
It's been 40 years since they moved to Khar from South Mumbai said the owner on the counter.
Famous for its Dal pakwan and chole samosa. I usually take a parcel for everyone back home.
Rs 40 for a plate. 2 samosas and a bowl full of chole.
I found it too spicy this time but nonetheless enjoyed it. It has some fabulous halwa n other sweets. A couple of tables Inside too, to.relish it while it's still hot.
Nothing fancy but value for money.
I am always fascinated how small communities preserve their tradition and culinary heritage and no matter how small they are they being their own influence into a melting pot of cultures, Mumbai. I have written abt Parsis, GSBs, Bunts before , it is the turn of Sindhis. Khar, where I stay is a Sindhi stronghold and it is also a place where you 2 legendary Mithai Shops, Tharu and Sindhu. And as Rashi who introduced me to this delicious Sev Barfi , you are not supposed to mention one to the other. The Lullas who run Sindhu sweets are originally from Shikarpur , Pakistan and they established this in 1940s. Their Sev Barfi is quite smashing with an interesting mix of besan sev and khoa , topped with some pistachios and almonds. #hidden #gem #sev #burfi #sindhi #delight #mumbai #khar
You might get bit confused with the looks of this place, but eventually you will have a gala if your into Sindhi based recipes.
This place being introduced to me by friend we always used to eat Samosa chole plate along with red and spicy pudina chutney which is true heaven.
Other than that, they do do even sell many sweets but yet to try them out.
They do limited seating inside and overall good experience.

Chole cutlet is a must have here and so is the mouth watering dal ka halwa... Prepared right in front of us! The aroma won't let you have just one bite.
We also had the mirchi wada and pakoras which were served with spicy pudhina chutney.

You must be nuts if you haven't tried the chhola Pattice and Dal pakwan here.
A typical sindhi Sunday meal, but beware, can be really heavy to digest if over eaten.
Consistent taste since I remember eating from here for over a decade... Neat... Clean and yummy!
Great place for ragda Pattice, samosas, and bhajiyas, has lot of Sindhi delicasies like pakwaan dal, do try them
Sweets & snacks are value for money !!
Hot pipping potato filled samosa served yet again with pipping hot chhole is what every Delhi walas dreams are made of. Except if you’re in Mumbai, just pop over to Sindhu Sweets outside Khar station and have an indulgent snack post-office. Or whenever. This is a no-judgement space. The samosa here is fried fresh in regular batches and is really popular with the railway commuters. Just got to step out and get one.
Price: INR 40 for a plate, served with chholey and green chutney
