It's so affordable, and the taste is good.. I ordered pav bhaji dosa it was nice only it was little bit salty due to more fermentation I guess.. the quantity was good, the ambience has changed and it's very nice, staff is good...
This is a go-to place when it comes to casual family dine-outs. There is ample space for families to dine comfortably and the staff is courteous.
Although a little more hygiene is expected.
Indian food tastes apt! South Indian breakfast is most recommended.

A very nice place to try South Indian food. Ordered Medu Vada. The Medu vada was Hot, Crispy and Less oily. You can peacefully sit here and can enjoy your south indian dishes. Now this place is called as Udupi Shree Krishna. Nearest metro station is D.N. nagar

Today morning had dosa & idli wow hot & crunchy dosa me & my son had been there.Idli & vada was yummy. Best part was the owner recognise me went after years was happy to see uncle at this age also sitting with same smile .
Went for breakfast and had idli Wada and neer dosa. The idli Wada was fresh and warm and sambar was delicious. The neer dosa was soft and succulent melting the mouth and gliding down the throat in a burst of flavours from the chutney and sambar it was dipped in before putting in the mouth. Service was very good and friendly. One star is removed for their ambience as the walls were dilapidated and the face needs an uplift howver all in all a very good Udupi breakfast experience
All time favourite for authentic South Indian Udupi Shree Krishna in Andheri west at Azad nagar is the finest restaurant for morning breakfast and snacks.
Had called for a Thali peeth which is their speciality. Neer dosa can just cannot go wrong. Goli bhajo is a typical Mangalorean snack to munch on. Kesar falooda is their hot seller on the menu list.
Many office goers come in during lunch time and for tea-coffee breaks.

This is my go to place whenever i crave south Indian breakfast. Some of favourites Masala Dosa, Kadle Bajeel, Sweet Appam, Goli Baje, Paneer Pakoda, fruit salad with custard. Have been going there since i was a kid. Recommend this place to everyone looking for authentic south indian food.
It's been a family tradition for a comfort meal since years. I've been going there since I was a little kid. Will always be my favourite idli place!

Also it goes well with hot tea in the evening.
As you enter the place, you are welcomed by the very enthusiastic and jolly staff of the restraunt who take you to your seat. The place is very clean, fresh and has a very positive feeling attached to it.
The menu offers a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone's taste and is way too reasonably priced for the quality of food and the taste they are providing. I have visited udupi shree krishna multiple times now and have loved every part of their menu. This includes the chinese, Indian and the south indian dishes. (Three cuisines nobody can say no to). Also their pav bhaji is a must have!
Their food is lip smacking good and all the dishes are served fresh and warm. It seems evident that the chefs and the management take great care in selecting the ingredients.
A special mention to the deserts. The lassi, kulfi, gulab jamun is to die for!
All in all this place is a package for the heart and soul of a foodie who appreciates real food.

Was in this area for office work, so decided to try out this place for some snacks. Ordered a veg cheese grill sandwich and mosambi juice. Although it took time, but the food was good. Sandwich was properly grilled and veggies used in it were fresh.
Overall ambience, service and space was decent.
Would certainly like to try out dosas and pav bhajis next..
It's nostalgic to come to a same restaurant After "20" Looongh year.
It was my first job. A small village boy from West Bengal, for 15 days we were there in a Hotel just in front of this restaurant. That was from 1st August 1997 to 15th August. Everyday we used to take south indian breakfast in this restaurant.
The taste is as unbeatable as before, even after 20 years. Today I had a special reunion with one of my best friend, from Delhi, met after 12 years.we had taken Vada sambar and filter coffee. Too delicious.
The glamour of the place is at her ebb. The waiters are not as well dressed as before. May be it's my nostalgic pre-notion.

Expect what you expect in an udupi restaurant...ample and elaborate south Indian dishes on the menu! Perfect for the early morning breakfast bites! I havent been experimental in terms of my order, it's been the basic dosa's or vada's...i have nothing to complain about :-)

Considering this restaurant is bang opposite to my house...it has always been the hop scotch run destination for me and my family! The hygiene, the pricing and the quality is something that remains uncompromised upon. Besides, the change of menu, which incorporates versitality is the cherry in the cake. I think what steals the show is the kulfi falooda which a friend of mine suggested and since then I have been having it every single time I visit the place! The introduction of inhouse chocolate mousses is also a bit hit with me. I think it's only right to say that this classic udupi restaurant has embraced the contomperory flavours being an apt place to cater from family brunches to a hangout place with friends!
Being a veshnav it's very difficult for me to find food that tastes good along with all the additions and subtraction that I mention . It's one of the rare restaurants that offers so much flexibility without any compromises being made in the taste of the dish!
Aah..for me, this restaurant has been an integral lunch spot during college times & It has been dominating its locality ever since. I have eaten here innumerable times & was somehow never disappointed.

Suggested to me by my dad, a very old and authentic restaurant. This place is special coz it was an 'adda' for my parents since their marriage and now it's a place of "every Sunday brunch" for our family. The Mysore masala dosa has become a staple food for us. Few of the special dishes Hyderabadi briyani and paneer chilli. It always has to end with Falooda or gajarka halwa ❤️. I would also like to mention about the efficient staff and Subhash uncle (the owner) for maintaining the hygiene and quality of food through the years (and also for generous discounts😁).
Homely place.. Great people.. Smiling faces around and not the least awesome food.. Have been there quite aa few times.. Food is great.. Their new menu is worth trying..authentic italian food which hasnt been updated on Zomato.. Great experience..

This is my first review and totally worth it...I have been to this place thrice now...but the authenticity and my taste buds compelled me to write a review this time.
My first visit was in the breakfast hours and my friends took me there.The first dish was the standard masala dosa, followed by the traditional guri appa and gatti which was super yumm and the service was expeditious.. This visit lead to another visit when I landed up trying the Chinese food(paneer chilli being my personal favourite) which was as good as the Mangalorean...Months later when I next visited Udupi Shree Krishna I noticed a new menu which had some more Chinese dishes(Shanghai noodles,Schezwan paneer), a totally new Italian menu and the mouth watering chocolate mousse. This review would be incomplete if I don't mention Stir fried vegetables which is by far the best Chinese dish I have ever tasted. People visiting the place should try it for themselves. Looks like the age-old Kalash is ready to remould itself..

Hola!! Been a while I wrote any reviews because I moved to Mumbai!! First review from Mumbai when I could get out of hostel to eat out.
Kalash is the nearest restaurant to our hostel in Andheri and we went out for breakfast on a Sunday.
In search for my long lost chola bhathura I reach here only to find out they start serving other than South Indian dishes. So we order dosas and Upma and filter coffee and they come at a really fast pace. Nice service and a cosy place. The dosas and Upma were nice, not very exceptional but the ones that will satiate your hunger for South Indian food. The prices are reasonable as well . After the visit we've ordered a whole lot of range from the place and turns out this is our order from place now in times of dire need. We order Chinese mainly from here and it is manageable as compared to the hostel food. Good paao bhaji as well. Rating extra .5 due to quick service

The best part of the food here is the consistency of flavors. You just know what to expect when you order your regular dishes. Since my office is in the vicinity, more often than not, I end up ordering from Udipi Krishna.

Decent place with a veg menu. The quality and the quantity is pretty good according to the price. I am kind of regular here for my breakfast and lunch.
So I've been eating here and home delivering from here since more than 20 years. It's a small udipi restaurant with a/c on the first floor. All dishes are very decent from udipi standards and very well priced.
This is one of the oldest restaurant on the busy JP road....decent place for south indian dishes..used to have pav paajis, idli sambhar, all different types of masala dosas, medu vada, upma, along with filtered coffee... One can also try here thali..this place is economical...visit here whenever passing from here..

Masala dosa - basic with a perfect crisp. The masala was yummy and the sambhar to die for
Tomato uttapam - i loved the way the tomato was spread in pieces and not slices. The chutney was okaish.
Pav Bhaji - this shud be called wow bhaji - flavoursome + buttery.
Manglore buns - very rarely do i ask the chef for the reciepe. This one was just lip smacking. A combination of all purpose flour, jaggery and banana served with a savoury chutney.
At UDIPI shree krishna the food will elevate your mood

What a pleasant visit it was!
Had come to Andheri, Mumbai for some work and had an hour to spare for lunch. So searched for restaurants near me on Google and found "U. S. K." - a stylish name indeed for an Udipi resturant!!
Ordered "Aam-ras puri" . Oh my! What an experience it was. It was so good that I ordered one full plate of puris extra and then ended up asking for another bowl of Aamras! Authentic stuff.
Pav bhaji and vada were other dishes we tried between two of us. Everything was great. Service was excellent.
The decor was very interesting too. Gave us a background of how the hotel has come up a few decades ago.. Some small town boys tasting interesting idlis by roadside shops and getting inspired to open their own little joint. And now this kind of a place!
So why 4 stars?
Because anything in this part of the city, looks dirty. So there was this typical Mumbai suburban's "smell" in the air. That day one of the hottest summer days of the season in Mumbai, so the air was pungent and even after we entered the restaurant, this smell was hanging in the air. I would have given them benefit of doubt and still rated them a 5*, but when I entered their wash room, I decided that this definitely needs to be ranked a star less. It's a pity, but hygiene is very very important for me.
Can disregard other things but not a toilet with water on the floor, dirty corners, leaky taps.
Mumbai unfortunately throws up this kind of set up. I dread to think if what kind of drainage system this toilet will be connected to!!
But thankfully the food was very hygienic and the waiters, were very well trained, clean and gave good vibes.
Will definitely go to the place, if I am visiting Andheri in Mumbai!!
Great ambience and great taste. The chutney in the middle is sweet grated coconut jaggery. Not the best that I've had, but how many restaurants serve it anyway?
Coming back to USK after ages, i felt nostalgic. The Gadbad dessert was outstanding and I would return back to this restaurant just for this sundae 😀
This place is 5mins walking distance from both Azad nagar and DN nagar metro station. We ordered Paneer toofani, butter naan and jeera rice. The serving size of one dish is enough for two people. The place is very cozy but doesn't feel claustrophobic at all and is perfect for big family celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries. Servers knew well about the menu and recommended us the best of the best. The service was very quick as well and the food tasted amazing.

What an amazing place. Loved their quirky interior. From their flooring to their seating everything is so nicely done. I had their filter coffee and it was so authentic South Indian coffee. Their neer Dosa is a must try. All in all it’s a great place to hang out with your family and friends.
