We have been visiting china blue for food and sheesha ever since we were college going kids! The ambiance is just the same as it was more than 5-7years ago! Their food tastes excellent! We ordered for a chicken malai tikka, chicken chilli dry, gobi manchrian dry, chicken makhanwala and cheese garlic naan! We even went in to have dessert and had their sizzling brownie with icecream! And along with friends there has to be sheesha! We went on a Wednesday afternoon hence the place was absolutely empty! Price wise we did find the place a little expensive compared to the rest of the eateries in bandra carter road area! Service is top notch!

Sweet Corn Soup -4/5 one of the few places that do this soup well . Just the right consistency not too thick not too liquid. The only feedback , it was slightly salty .
Ghost Afghani -5/5 awesome meat so tender it would melt in your mouth well placed in a thick gravy that was flavoured and creamy ... word of caution for the weight watchers this is a bit on the heavy and oily side ... but if you want to dig in to some wholesome comforting food then this is it .
Roomali Roti’s -3/5 soft ,a bit under cooked ...

I hv been there so often, I don’t need the menu any more ! I love their chicken lemon Corriander soup the most ! And their tikkas are so hearty! Also their biryanis! Only they hv reduced their quantity lately and the staff when left unmonitored is not a good idea, I find them staring at the tv watching cricket!
Good ambience, excellent chicken tandoori and mutton biryani must try is the matka chicken and to top it all is the sizzling brownie. All the dishes are value for money. Good service by staff.

I'll rate this restaurant 5/5...has here I have eaten Chicken Suneheri , Chicken Lahore with Butter Naan, Chicken Chilly khepsa Rice and all was tastes wise good with great quantity..I will recommend you to do visit here at least once

A hidden gem near Carter road bandra west. Pretty difficult to locate. But!! Their ambience is so awesome. As Soon as you would enter this place you will be amazed with their ambience.Coming to food , the food was great too. We tried their special zamzam biryani for the main course because the waiter suggested and it was the best biryani I ever had in Mumbai. Service was also too good. A very preferable place for birthday parties and getogethers.

CHICKEN ZAMZAM BIRYANI. there is little use writing about it. Just go there and eat it. For Rs 850 a tray (yes, you read right, they serve it in a tray, not a plate or handi) - 4 voracious tummies can be filled. Price is a steal. Quantity is amazing. Fantastic and fresh preparation (they take at least 30 minutes to serve) and it is highly recoemnded.
Relationship is based on love and hate...food at this place defines the same.
We are a regular at this place when it comes to authentic and value for money in Bandra. The place provides feel like home ambience although it is around five tables. Let me tell you that they make one of the best chicken crispy in India which is comparable but not beatable. Fish crispy, veg and non veg gravies, kulcha, naan and more are their speciality. Staff is courteous and quick to response. One thing I was disappointed about this place was the nonveg platter( dry chicken, not properly spiced, sweet green chutney) which was a mood spoiler. So that's some up the love hate food relationship about this place. Do try and highly recommended.
A little hard to find but its hidden away in a nice isolated location, away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. They have two sections ground floor and a seating above led through a tiny little flight of stairs. Their only downside is they serve hukkha, but not in the food area. Anyway the food there is amazing especially their Indian food which is rich and heavy, so don't over order. If you are looking for hearty meal visit this place but its a little heavy on the pocket, but all and all worth it

The Chinese food here is very delicious and the service is very fast. It is a small place so it is not very crowded that is a huge plus point.

Chinese and Mughlai are the best available options and the really have a lot to offer and quite a different menu from their competitors . We tried chinese. It was really good. Prices are appropriate. Service is good and the serving portion is also adequate . All in all would recommend it.

What an ambience! Just loved it. Its so well built and the foods are awesome in taste as well as quantity. We ordered chicken crispy and a khepsa rice. Both were good but that khepsa rice was at another level.
China blue is the ultimate place to visit.it will never disappoint you be it Chinese or Mughlai. Recommendations would be chicken 65,sunheri kabaab,chicken satay,butter chicken of course,Wong rice,chicken oyster sauce.

Bandra West...somewhere near to bhaijaanz...not so cheap...not so expensive somewhere in between...the food good...like really good...you'll get hukka...no booze...but yes FOOD...didn't have such time to explore the menu but yes we ordered...Abu chilli kebab...which was fairly like kebab...nothing new...but yes the Chinese part is great good....after which we tried...kepsa chilli chicken ...the thing you'll see in the picture....was enough for 5 of us...since we don't eat upto our throat ...Dec was average nothing too fancy...small place...it was fun though...will come back and definitely recommend...cheers
The food was classy though you cannot have food while having sheesha but thats fine. The starters were too good veg and non veg both i liked the tandoori which was roasted perfectly. And request you all to visit here as it is an awesome place with awesome food and most amazing thing is its not very expensive hardly 300 per person.
Though the name's 'China Blue', this place is best known for their Mughlai food. It's located in a small lane behind Carter road. Not a very big space but just about enough. Good food, decent service and amazing sheesha quality. The only turn off is that they refuse to serve food or beverages in the sheesha section.
This place deserves to get a 4/5. It is a bit difficult to locate this restaurant but you will not regret visiting here. Both food and ambience is fantastic.
I had been here with my fnds and honestly jus loved the food here... The food was amazing had Chicken chilly Khepsa rice and it was mouth-watering.... I still have got its taste in my mouth
An oldie but a goodie. China Blue has been around for so long. This has been one of the first few sheesha places I visited.
I've only had 3 things here - hukka in various flavors, masala papad and manchow soup.
Their sheesha is really good - excellent flavor.

Have been here many times..they serve very good sheesha as well as food..though sheesha and food is not served together and both sections are different..love the chinese here..haven't tried indian so cant say much..off late have stopped going here since the time they have put time limit on sheesha 45-60mins..moreover they don't have lot of vatiety of sheesha flavours..

Really nice place for hookah. We tried pan and orange. But they don't serve food in the hookah area and vice a versa which is a put off point.

I will give 4.5 ratings to this place and the .5 which is deducted is due to its service. Which is not bad actually but its slow. The slowness could be because the place was full and the setup had a small kitchen. But the food was lip smacking. The murgh malai tikka was delicious and the schezvan tandoori was perfect. The khebsa rice was a huge potion and amazing. At the end the check too was easy on pocket. Go for moghlai food though we didn't try chinese here.
The best is the zam zam biryani and the khebsa rice and the sunheri kabebs is something you shouldn't miss... and great sheesha with the perfect blend of mixtures! My always go to place!

Went with a few friends to check this place out and must say that I was really happy to be here! Amazing biryani and great varieties of paneer. So good! And the sheesha was so reasonable. One of the most underrated places I've been to that deserves much more! Must try!

The restaurant is located in a rather unassuming converted warehouse that’s quite easy not to miss the eye catching exteriors off Cater Road. The interior decor allows the simplistic beauty of the food to really shine, though beauty isn’t the only thing bringing folks to China Blue.The restaurant buzzed with excited energy and was comfortably full with seemingly satisfied patrons.
China Blue has gone back to its famous deconstructed roots, which is Sheesha- it has been re-introduced in a complete new section with an introduction of a new and wide range of flavours, which it has been most famous for. The Food has a wide Range of flavours such as both Chinese as well as Mughlai-We certainly could have shared a second order, though that is more a reflection on the otherworldly taste than the massive portion size.The servings were big and well worth it.

I visited this place with my bestie for yummy lunch. And indeed it was a great visit. Its was my first visit to this place. Had heard alot about it and finally nailed it. So let me start with the ambiance, the outlook of the hotel was nice and attractive. Not too crowed and the staffs were good. Overall the place as good for us. As we were two of us so didn't order a long list of dishes. We ordered schwenan chicken lollipop and trust it is one of the best chicken lollipop I ever had. It was bit spicy and juicy but the taste was out of the world. I was mesmerized with every bite of it. We also ordered one reshmi kebaab it was also good but the chicken lollipop for me stealed the show. And In main course we had chicken briyani and again it was extremely good and tasty. In short I loved the food and the ambiance. So I suggest you all should at least visit once here and don't forget to taste chicken lollipop as you will definitely go crazy for it. It was an delightful experience. Will visit again for sure.

It took me and my friends atleast 30 minutes to search this place ! I was persistent on finding it because one of my friend had given me a treat years back and I had loved it.
Mocktails : Margarita (Orange) is my fav.. there was one more of vanilla .. I dont remember the name correctly. I disliked their lemon mocktail .. it was too salty.
Food : One must try their starters. They are just finger licking. I preferred their starters than their main course also. Their food quality is good and also the quantity. I was so suprised when I saw the quantity of biryani of which we ordered. Their rates are pocket friendly ! Very reasonable. Interior is also very very pretty. Staff was very cooperative and sweet.
Luckily when we had gone noone was smoking hookah :p So overall it was a fun experience.

Today I just happened to come to this restaurant with my family it was unplanned we were looking out for a good place to have lunch at and we came across this….am so glad we did I really loved the interior so beautiful especially loved the wooden interior and vintage vibe also everything we tried was delicious and wholesome! Food is great! Prices reasonable. If service can become faster, then nothing like it. Anyway very worth the wait. They are also very strict and never allow underage kids to smoke hukka. Was having my food there when some underage "big boys" wanted to go upstairs for the pot, it was a complete no! and only one or two of them who were lucky to be just few months into legal age, were allowed and the rest asked to leave.
Food here is really amazing. The ambience is really soothing too. The only let down is the time they take to serve. We had to wait almost 20 minutes to get the soup and another 20 minutes for starters. The main course took about 30 mins. So it is better to order everything at once.
