Suitable for the quote, " simple and sweet!". The restaurant decor is simple but serves authentic Indian food, especially South Indian chicken is famous over here.
The place is very simple but the food is amazing specially their chicken shuka and paratha.
Their speciality is chicken shuka and chicken rice place
Its good for people who miss home food .
Low on pocket and good in quantity with simple clean food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The place serves cheap and quality food to most bachelors and students in the vicinity.
It’s a simple south Indian restaurant.
I had ordered fish fry just for starters and chapati to have with the gravy I already had at home.
When I opened the parcel, there was a fish curry (without pieces) as well. The manager might have thought I was gonna have the chapati dry. :)
Love this place for their food. Pricing is quite cheap and the quantity is good enough for a person. A lot of kerela items are seen on the menu. Do try their chicken stew, egg biryani, lunch plate and the Chaas.
Value for money is what this place is.
Decent South Indian fare with a lot of Kerala food on the menu that are available for lunch and dinner, and on weekends. They served up a fair masala dosa and one of the nicer upmas I've had in recent times. Not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination, but does the job well when you're in the mood for a no-frills South Indian meal.
Brilliant authentic food. Great lunch place for a fresh, well cooked Kerala meal. Simple interiors and non air-conditioned. A home delivery option would have been good but does not seem to be available.
National Hindu appears unassuming but don't fall for that simple budget hotel look.
The place humbly sits in the heart of crowded Kalina market. It's mostly crowded during breakfast hours but I'd recommend main meals too.
Skip the usual dosa & idli options. Try their authentic mallu preparations instead. Egg roast, kadla curry with appams, puttu( Sun).
You'll be transported to Kerala instantly.
Their rassam deserves a special mention. Its a treat to the taste buds. The fish options are good & it's always served fresh.
For the prices this place is like a hidden gem.
Zero ambience and maybe not the best place for dinner... Also the sambhar is more like dal and a little less like sambhar...
Wondering why such opening words for a restaurant with rating 4. Go there for breakfast and if you know what to order you could end up delighted! This place serves some of the best unexplored South Indian breakfasts.
For egg lovers a MUST-TRY is the appam and the egg roast. The appam was big and soft going nicely with the yum egg roast - boiled eggs in a bed of fried and spiced onion, ginger and garlic. They also serve their kadala or the black chana curry and coconut chutney with it. So you can easily alternate and dunk your appam in whatever you fancy.
Another thing to try is yet another Kerala breakfast - Puttu and the kadala (black chana) curry. Hot steaming cakes of rice flour and coconut with the kadala curry ladled all over it and topped with the coconut chutney..
These two things are sure to open your taste buds to new horizons at a miniscule cost!
P.S. will add the picture of the puttu as soon as I am done with my egg roast hangover and order it the next time.

Worthy of a 5. Best place to go to if you are missing some authentic mallu food. Try their appam, puttu(only Sundays), biriyani and last but not the least fish curry. Pro tip: they serve some really fresh fish.
budget hotel. good quality food. try out the Kerala foods out here.
Paradise for those seeking yummy food at low rates ...good service and people loving south indian food can enjoy what is close to home made
The sambar was savoury—a much welcome break from the ubiquitous sweet varieties. The medu vada was love at first bite. So crunchy! The omelette was low on salt, though. So what I did was: put in the pav and dunked it in sambar (that's how much I liked it).
Go here if you're looking for a tasty, non-nonsense brekkie that is easy on your pocket.
Their Indian cuisine is very tasty and worth for money especially chicken Sukha and Paratha also their breakfast menu taste good and budget friendly.
Worth trying.👌

Nice place to get lunch from. South Indian Kerala food mostly.
In a ever changing world, this old world Kerala restaurant has remained unchanged at least for over 50 years.
Recommend their Dal wada,Appams(Hoppers) with kadalai (black gram) curry.
