This place is in the by lanes of matunga on the central railway station close to Ruia college. It serves variety of food items majorly being non- veg, but this is more famous for its tandoori momos which is the most popular dish here.

1) Chicken Tandoori Momos - (4/5) We had visited this place on a jam packed saturday evening, the tandoori momos were served with red spicy chutney. The coating is thick and cooked over more sort of barbeque sort of tandoor. The chicken inside is minced and is soft and juicy with right amount of spices. It kind satiates your taste buds with the tandoori flavor. They also offer mayo at an additional cost but the combination is worth it.

Overall delicious tandoori chicken momos, they also offer plain chicken, veg Momos and paneer tandoori momos. The momos serving starts from 7 pm and on weekends you sure to see huge crowd and have to wait for your turn. Also there are no seating arrangements you can just stand and have or take away.

The best and the most reasonable priced Chinese food in this part of Mumbai. We have eaten here since our school days and it's still going strong. The quantity is amazing for the price. Pro-tip: if you are eating alone, order the half dish and not the full dish as the quantity of the full dish will be enough for 2-3 people. The taste is too good and the servers very happy go lucky. Don't expect a very upscale ambience but the place is kept clean and hygenic. Overall this place will give you the best bang for you buck. Love this place!!

Quantity is good but sometimes the quality is a little compromising.
They offer a variety of rice dishes. Though the taste in each feels the same.

The place is mostly crowded with the foodies. The place is little but the dishes served are too nice.
The cost is aslo much reasonable and the quality is also superb the chicken triple fried rice and chicken chilli rice is one of mine favourite over there. I would love to try this place once again

Even though the place is small China man is no doubt favorite amongst the youngster and college students there. The quantity served is nice and the prices are affordable. Triple rice and Chicken chilly are my all time favorite here.

It was my college time go to. I remember saving up my pocket money for a week and eating here on Saturday and that was our #weekendvibe. Although the place and ambience is okayish ; mostly you have to share your table as it's a busy place. Recently they incorporated momos in their menu.
Coming to food. It's above average, although the menu target more of non-vegetarian options; but their paneer crispy is the best. It's the best paneer crispy in the vicinity. Plus they have very good and cheap tandoori momos. It's been 3 years I completed my graduation; I still visit here and order paneer crispy and that just says allot about this place.
Overall this place is good cheap and highly nostalgic for me.

This is like my regular place. They serve momos, chicken steam and fried Momo's and paneer momos. Tandoor Momo's are best and even chicken fried Momo's are best
I have never seen this place empty. The food here is amazing. I love Chinese and they serve one of the best Chinese in the locality here. My next in "yet to explore" list is their tandoor Momo's.

Don't you hate it when a good places loses all it's virtues, this has been one such place. Although you would still find people waiting in queue to get a table, Chinaman has depreciated in terms of it's taste and also cleanliness.

I ordered the chicken Schezwan rice, manchow soup and chicken lollipop, I loved the Schezwan rice and the lollipop and with such low prices and great quantity, it attracts alot of people.Though they have a tiny place, it is worth going to this place if you are into spicy Chinese cuisine😋😍.

Many people had recommended this place to have chinese very close to Ruia college and we gave it a try and it was really up to the mark!
I observed that this place is crowded most of the times and people wait outside for their turn to come to have a table for them!
Their menu had as many as variety of options possible in Chinese cuisine !
The quantity of the food was so extreme that we had to take some as parcel!
Taste and the presentation was also veey good at that price range!
Interior is not that great but its ok!

Chinaman is a chillout place for me and my friends.
And our order has been constant at this place.

Half because the quantity is too much😍
And sometimes even a single person isn’t able to complete the whole thing.
TS Fried Rice comes with gravy and manchurian. The gravy and manchurian are nice.
The only thing which they need to improve is the ambience.

Nice place. Too much crowded place. You will have to wait for minimum 15 minutes for seating. But worth waiting! Ambience is like a normal local shop. We had peri peri chicken, chicken fried rice. Quantity is pretty much good. 3 people can have one full rice. Very helpful staff. Service is good. Excellent for college going people. Overall nice experience.

This place is located near Dadar station (E) at 10-15 min walking distance . The restaurant is small and compact the sitting arrangement are not much comfortable. But Great Chinese food in Reasonable price.if you are the lover of eating finest Chinese food , do not forget to go Chinaman!!

It is the best place for chinese . The taste of chinese was really mouthwatering & there were only 2 to 3 boys for service but still service was fast because of their speciality there was queue for table we enjoy the Chinese here !!
'Chinaman' This restaurant is mainly popular for Chinese food. Located near ruia college, Matunga East. The Veg as well as non veg we get here is decent in taste. It is flowded with college students. The ambiance is ok as it is at prime location. But it is budget oriented and order time is 10 minutes. Chicken Lollipop, Chicken triple rice, Manchurian dry remains my favorite.
Quantity lovers and Chinese lovers here is paradise ..........tasty Chinese with huge quantity u will need 2 3 of ur friends to finish one full plate of rice/noodles

This small restaurant is located very near to Hindu/ Dadar Parsi colony where in one goes over there for dinner from 7.30 till midnight. Dont expect Luxary aircondition ambiance, just basic place for dining at low pricing with good taste.
We had tried the Chicken Manchow Soup, Chicken Triple Rice and Chicken Manchurian chicken 65, Hunan chicken, Roasted chicken. The service is also very fast and efficient. The soup was piping hot and more spicy and the Chicken Triple Rice is also amazing.Only 8 tables on first come first serve basis and more waiting outside for 30 minutes if late. Their momos are too good with special topping of chat masala which adde to the taste. Dont worry you will not get ingestion after eating any of their stuff as food which comes on table is hot which could burn your tongue. For any small functions we visit and enjoy the quantity and quality which is super.

Fabulous place for all the Chinese lovers. They serve varities of Chinese Dishes which are delicious. It is rightly located near Ruia College. As per management suggestion I ordered Chicken Chopper Rice & Chicken Chilly Rice which was Amazing. This Restuarant is quite Small. Staff here is Friendly. This Restuarant is Pocket Friendly. This no problem of parking as there is Ample of space for Parking..!!
I have been going to this place from 3 years now , and recently they have started with tandoori Momo's too . And they are the yummiest. The quantity they serve is also very good and pocket friendly too .

Chinaman has been our meeting place / eating joint / saviour since our college days. So I could not waited more to introduce Chinaman to my wife. And boy was she in for a finger lickin' surprise.
First up, the portions have always been huge and that plays well to people like me who just LOVE to eat and students who are looking for good food but inexpensive. I have transitioned from the latter to the former.
My personal favourite here is chicken lollipop, followed by Chicken Triple Schezwan rice. But this time we tried the Dragon Chicken and Chicken Manchurian noodles. And frankly, they were as good as any dish on the menu. Chinaman has kept the taste intact since all these years and I love the nostalgia that comes with it. The satisfaction and the memories connected to this place are clearly visible on the faces of the patrons here.
Honestly, I do have a soft spot for Chinaman and I hope Chinaman is still rocking such beautiful and tasty dishes so that we could introduce it to our children, grandchildren and further more.

This place is recommended if you're very hungry and craving for Chinese food. They serve orders within a short time. Visited this place on Sunday evening, we saw momos were also available at Chinaman. We ordered Paneer Momos and Chicken Tandoori Momos. Will highly recommend Chicken Tandoori Momos. The momos were served hot and sprinkled with Chat Masala on top for the extra tangy flavor.

Not a family restaurant good for college going students. This place is famous for Chinese lovers. Best Chinese cuisine available. Quality and taste is ok quantity wise is too good. We ordered Dragon chicken for starters and Chopper rice. Food was tasty but due to more quantity in rice we finish half only half taken parcel.

This is the place where we all learnt what exactly Indian Chinese food is. This place is a blessing for all the college kids in the vicinity as it's very easy on your pockets. I ordered half plate veg triple noodles and thumbs-up. Loved it. Please try the in-house special noodles. Love the food here.

I ate the tandoori momos here and they are decently good. I was very hungry at the time and in just 100 rupees these momos are a totally awesome appetiser and hunger killer.
It was a bit Oily, so if you don't prefer to much oil than explore other options.
I have been eating here since 2005 during my college days. Taste hasn't changed even a bit to this day. Owner is one of the friendliest person you may come across. Cheers to this place and vibe!

Amazing food. Just loved it. We ordered 3 plate chicken fried rise and chicken lollipop. We were 9 people and were pretty satisfied with the quantity of the food. Quality wise and quantity wise they give very nice food. Cost is worth. They provide very good service also. Clean and beautiful restaurant. One can enjoy the meal there. Variety of food items are available there. Waiters give very nice service. Behaviour of the staff is very helpful. Food came on time. They didn't make us wait for the food.

Food is of average quality and taste but comes in a huge quantity. Sizzling noodles comes with slightly sweet gravy and tastes quite good. Tandoori momos are must try. It is an affordable place.
