Good place to have quick Maharastrian snacks here.
Other than quick bites it serves Puranpoli, Malpoha, and cold drinks too.
Good one but packaging can be little better, no doubt hygiene is taken care , pocket friendly place, huge crowd is always seen here inspite they have a very limited menu.
In this pandemic they are just opened for delivery, serving limited items though fresh one
Thanks
I like this place a lot, great place
Had this delicious Misal Pav, in Laxmi vilas which is on the way to Hindmata.
Price was fully worth the quantity and the taste served.
Staff was friendly and good.
Price :- Misal Pav : Rs 50/-
Rating :- Misal Pav: 4/5
Four stars because for such a small hotel, the food they are serving at that price is fairly good. Tea is one of the best i ever tasted, go for it ! You can have aloo wadi, special thali, misal pao, batata wada, veg biryani etc. Do not expect great quality food. This is an affordable hotel.
It's very small food joint with a typical small Udipi style without AC.
But it's butter fry misal pav is worth trying with unusual receipe of misal. try it with batata wada. For those who love misal pav this is must visit place.
Nice Sukha Bhaji in Rice Plate (Thali)
Awesome Gajar Halwa, Dudhi Halwa, Kharvas .....No.1 Misal and Fry Misal. Please try their Pooran poli too.

Craving for Missal while you are shopping at Hindmata? Laxmi Vilas is the place to go. Located on the main road just a little ahead of Hindmata towards Dadar TT, this place is a gem for missal lovers. A non air conditioned small restaurant housing about 4 5 tables get ready to share your table during peak hours.
The butter fried missal is their speciality. Spicy lentils soaked overnight and seasoned with butter is sure to transport you to butter paradise. Perfectly spiced and served with Pav and Farsan, get ready to dive into the ocean of butter! This place has been a childhood favourite for whenever we craved Missal.
A must go if you are around Hindmata, Dadar.
Single dish assessments of a restaurant are unfair and oftentimes unreliable - so 'caveat emptor'.
But if your soul yearns for a good (and a very very different ) misal then salvation is anigh - LV makes the meanest garam masala based misal I've come across in town. Their misal is simply usal + shev, but what an usal it is - a kala watana based nippy and non-oily gravy loaded with a robust garam masala (which should ideally adorn a nice chicken masala dish ). One can opt for the 'amul butter fry ' version which I quiet enjoyed. Their 'kairi panha' was a bit too sweet but played it's part in dousing the thrilling highs of the spicyish misal.
LV is a coy little non-ac place not far away from Chitra Cinema - when I get back here, I don't know if I'll want to feed my misal fix again or to try some other items on their rather extensive menu (for an establishment of their size).
Suuppeerrbb yyuummyy food.. a mouthwatering misal pav makes ur mood for the spicy foodies
This small restaurant is located in Shindewadi area of Dadar East, in the shopping area. Had stepped in at evening tea time. Tried cutlet, methi bhaji and tea. Food was fresh and tasty. Prices were reasonable.
Service is good and the place was clean. Not much by way of atmosphere. They have only very few tables and it looks like it gets crowded during peak meal times.
At the entrance, they had a display of Mangalore style snacks. It's a good place for a quick meal or snack while out shopping in the area.
Great place to have poha upma idli medu wada and other breakfast items. The sambar and chutney are very good.
In evening you get Vada Pav, Samosa Pav and Cutlet Pav which very affordable and hygienic. Cutlet Pav surely deserves a mention.
You can also buy Chivda, Chakli and other quick snack items.
The place is small but very clean and the staff is friendly.
I tried Misal pau, vada pau and kokam sarabat here. Misal pau have best taste I have ever of it's kind. Vada pau is also soft and with best texture. Kokam sarbat also have authentic good taste. You can eat here or takeout.
A good place for a quick meal. Food served here is of good quality.
