With that name as their out let any one will just walk in to order malavani cuisine but they also server North Indian and Chinese cuisine here too. Ordered for pomfret tawa fry. Bombil fry and pomfret thali superb food. Service could be better.

Nearby to andheri station ao easy accessible .. had a vodka .. pocket friendly rates on food and drinks. As kitchen was closed at 4.00 so they only had chicken sukka and rice. Hungry so had no choice. Food was awesome.
Nice and really tasty food. Authentic Ratnagiri Kokani sea food. All time super hit dishes of Prawns, Surmai and Pamphlet fish. Delicious and finger licking. For more heavenly experience, just add Beer from their Bar menu!!😊😇
Had a prawns thali. Tasted good, the prawns were fresh and the gravy was addictive. Only thing was they added 40 bucks as a bar rate. Rest all good. :)
On the recommendation of a colleague, I along with two other office friends went to Ratnagiri to sample their fish thalis.
Both my colleagues ordered for the prawns thali while I ordered for the Surmai thali. Both the thalis were good, though I personally liked the prawn thali.
The meal was worth every rupee spent on it. The bill amounted to a meagre 580 /- for 3 people. Full paisa vasul.
Near to station so always crowded. Specially the non ac area. Ambiance is ok.. but dont go by ambiance.....sea food is good here. My fav - stuffef Bombil fry. Nice place to have a drink n sea food
This place is in the busy Andheri east station area so usually crowded but great food ! My personal fav is the bombil fry better than most places I tried recently. Otherwise the chicken sukka/mutton sukka with the rice bhakri is a must and all at great prices :)
Very few places serve Maharashtrian coastal cuisine in Mumbai and also is a Bar.. This has a AC and non AC section and as is a Bar , quite noisy and crowded.. The food is good with the usual seafood, mutton, chicken Thalis available only at lunch time..Bombil was not available when I visited last, so ordered the tawa Surmai... Well done with good coastal masalas.. It's quite different from the Manglorean preparation... Also ask for the Fish Rassa as accompaniment..The mutton curry is spicy and goes well with the kadak rotis.. Keep going for more..

The word "Ratnagiri" is not only a multiple outlet city coastal food brand but also my mum's native place. I have an association to this place right from my childhood days. Rice with Kulith Pithla and Tava Fry Surmai, has been our staple diet on sundays if not the ghar ki biryani.
In my past experiences of Coastal food in Mumbai, i have come across some mediocre food from Mahesh Lunch Home & Gazalee and the moderately priced Thallis of Modern Lunch Home or Sion Lunch Home. Somewhere these places have lost the focus and authenticity and opted for cliche decor or large fish tanks filled with Lobster and Crabs.
What 'Ratnagiri' does right is serve some fresh catch of Surmai -Slice of Tava Fry with authentic konkani masala marinade, sol kadhi, khobra kairi chutney, bhaji, chapati and rice. This is a Fish Thalli that i'm mentioning here which i had during my lunch time. It was so pleasing that i had to convey my thanks to the cook who made that brilliant well balanced tava fry fish. The texture of the fish came out so well simply because it was cooked for just the perfect time.
So if you are a konkan seafood lover, you will appreciate this place for sending you back in time to your house where you savoured such a moment.

It is a good place if you need to hangout close to Andheri station. The section near the entrance is bit shabby, but inside in the a/c section it is better. Had ordered Chicken Tandoori which was not great, but kabab's were good, this place is known for it's seafood. Staff and service was good.

It is a beautiful place for spending time with friends. The taste of food and quantity of food is also good. But the time of rush the quality of food decreasses. They need to take a look into it.
This is one of the best restaurant for spicy food lovers,we had chicken lolipop and chicken biryani (boneless),i recommend you all to try it .👍
