Visited Mahalaxmi yesterday. Was looking for a quick snack. Found this place tuck in a building. Was bustling with customers visiting the Mahalaxmi Temple. Ordered a Mysore sada dosa and a veg cheese grilled sandwich. With South Indian filter coffee. One of the best dosas I had this side of town the sandwich was good and the coffee perfect. Wonder why this place is rated so low. Even the service was good. Typical of a South Indian joint.
Me and my friend were looking for some place to eat aftr mahalxmi darshan and then we found this place. This is a small place. We ordered puri bhaji and rava dosa. Surprisingly there was almost no oil in puri and bhaji (aloo dry with lots of curry patta) was also nice. Rava dosa was okok. Service is also quite fast.
I was thinking whether I should enter or not but couldn't stop stop my self when I saw the guy opening idli steamer... I got tempted & went straight to eat one of them .. It was so good... Sambar was worth eating.. Cheap as well ... What else u look for a quick bite.
"Pure veg cheap eats”
Just round the corner on the main road is this pure veg eatery
Serves fast food, as well as Punjabi food. The menu is reasonable and not expensive.
Usually crowded on weekends and one may face a waiting time of 30 mins. This restaurant is quite old running from ages but is recently renovated.
Lovely food - both parcel and having. Bloody good taste. And nominal rates. After swaminarayan temple next to Mahalaxmi. Always jam packed as for mumbai darshan crowd stops by.
Shobha is a very old South Indian restaurant near Mahalakshmi temple which serves great food with quick service. Have always had a great experience here and enjoyed the fast food items.
Went there for a meal on Sunday eve. Had a South Indian thali
THE GOOD
2 green veggies, dal, sambhar, rice, chappaties, pickle, curd reasonablypriced at rd 90
Clean friendly service, tasty fresh food
THE BAD
they don't serve any sweets, no gulab jamun. no seera no ice cream nothing
Located near mahalaxmi temple, bhulabhai desai road. Tried Idli sambar and medu wada here. Idli was very soft and fresh. Medu wada was little bit hard but fresh. Not much expensive. Seating arrangement available on upper deck also.
Pure Vegetarian Hotel situated near the Mahalaxmi Temple. Hotel atmosphere felt calm and hygiene. Doesn't ordered a lot. But the ordered items were fresh and tasty enough 😋❤️👍.
The price for individual items were somewhat higher if considered. Hence not that much affordable of course😶.
Food is good and probably the only option of decent seating and affordable pricing in thar area of Mahalaxmi temple to kemps corner. Gets a bit crowded as lot of people who come for Darshan in tourist buses crowd outside to collect their Orders. No parking available.
Nice pure veg restaurant near Mahalakshmi temple. Has both AC sitting and non AC sitting areas. Food was very good
I happened to discover this place while driving by breach candy and kemps corner late evening when most restaurants were shutting or not taking in any more diners.
This place is extremely pocket friendly and the food portions are very good.
I ordered a Punjabi thali for myself which I also happened to share it along with my friend and the food quantity was more than enough for two of us. And the best thing was it was only for 215 rupees which was quite shocking for me, to be honest. I will definitely visit this restaurant again if I have a chance to pass by. I would strongly recommend that you visit this place, you won't be disappointed with the food.
Very good place for Veg food. South Indian, Punjabi, Gujarati food will get within 5-10 minutes of ordering. It is very near to Mahalakshmi temple. Every food is made in hygiene place. Restaurant are with fully AC and Non-AC rooms. Quality and test of food is awesome. Only cash payment are acceptable.

The staff was not giving proper attention
And the food was also ok not recommended
And that night my friend also got sick due to that and not a good place to dine in with family
Good vegetarian South Indian restaurant on Bhulabhai Desai Road.
Neat and clean. However service is slow. Waiters don't come to you, until you call them at least 2/3 times. Secondly prices are a little higher. Avoid going during lunch hour, as during that time you will not find the table and also not proper service because it is full with tourists visiting Mahalaxmi Temple and Haji Ali Dargah.
Excellent food.
Restaurant should have QR code and credit card option for payment.
