Every occasion at our place calls for mithai from Regal Sweets! They are the true pioneers of sweets in this city. My personal favourties are the malai and black currant barfi, the malai pedha. Their Bombay halwa is great as it is, but i prefer warming it up for 15 seconds and then having it - it also travels very well, we have sent kilos of these to the United States and everyone there swears by it!
All in all, if you're looking for traditional indian sweets, this is the place to visit.

A very well known establishment .. speciality in ice halwaa or some call it mahim halwa .. many varieties . No non sense service . Sugar and ghee is nicely balanced
