It's a very near to my house. It's my go to place if I have to meet anyone for lunch or dinner. Though everytime we go there is a waiting time as the place can accomodate only a little people. Found this really great place to call for quality food in this pandemic time, the delivery packing is safe n sealed the delivery guy looked hygienic n our food reached us before estimated time...I have good and safe food options happy to order more frequently.

Chicken Patiyala was the dish I can never ever forget. It was the best Chicken Patiyala of my life. The omlette was huge in size, chicken was filled in a lot of quantity inside and gravy too had the perfect texture to it. There is nothing that beats this dish at this restaurant. Chicken Biryani, was also a good surprise at this restaurant. Biryani at very few places is proper but this restaurant even nailed the dish. My love for Patiyala was so much that I saved some gravy from Patiyala and poured it over my Biryani and there was a magical creation there. I wish Cottage Grill definitely starts Chicken Patiyala Biryani and it will sell easily. Thanks to their amazing chef, the simple dinner at a new place turned out to be one of the best meals I have had.

Though the place is small, the staff is friendly and the food is tasty. They serve Indian Chinese and Noth Indian food as well. I ordered chicken Basel kabab which is newly added in their restaurant, Actually Chicken was very soft and fresh. I also ordered chicken kolhapuri and naans in main course.That was very tempting and spicy in taste. Overall love the food.
If I want kebab at reasonable price then any day I would prefer cottage grill. Perfect.

It is hidden gem located at Dadar west near Shivaji Park. There is outdoor and indoor seating, last weekend we ordered food from here.
What we ordered
In starters
Veg Paneer Manchurian: There were chunks of paneer pieces light coated with corn flour and fried. It was tossed with soya sauce and green chilies, garnished with spring onions. The paneer was fresh, the taste was nice, and it was an appetizing starters. The quantity was huge.
Paneer dakshini Tikka:
Cubes of paneer marinated with green chutney of mint and coriander, grilled on charcoal along with cubed capsicum and onion. Paneer was soft; there were six big chunks of paneer. It was grilled to the perfection; neither burned nor chewy. It was lip smacking.
In main course
Veg fried rice
It was long grain rice tossed with finely chopped vegetables, light soya. The taste was good. It can be paired with any gravy.
Veg hot garlic gravy
There were veg balls made of cabbage, carrots and capsicums. Veg balls were fried and tossed in the garlic gravy, gravy was nice there were fine chopped garlic pieces, and the texture of gravy was consistent. It was flavorsome not too spicy.
Veg garlic noodles
The noodles were thin and cook with precision. The noodles were of good quality, nor chewy, nor sticky there were diced exotic vegetables like red capsicum and baby corn, and regular veggies like cabbage and carrot. It was garnished with spring and chopped garlic. It was yummy.
Chicken 65
It was a bit disappointment, it was assume to be a chicken Chinese dish but it turn out with lots of curry leaves and black mustard seeds, the chicken was ok. It was chicken more towards south Indian then Chinese

Cottage Grill at Dadar has to be one of those hidden gems in Mumbai (Truly, Not exaggerating at all, this is not a paid review).
We stumbled open this place by accident and thought of giving it a try.
It is a little place, with tables available both on the outside and the inside.
They have kept the decor simple and nice, nothing too overstating.
We had their:
CHICKEN PAHADI KEBAB
Pahadi has always been the go to dish for non-vegetarians and we were no exception to this unspoken rule.
We ordered it and were honestly not expecting it to be that good! But they really surprised us!
The chicken was nice and pink on the inside, very tender and soft. The marinade of the pahadi masala was very powerful flavourwise. It came with a side of mint chutney.

COTTAGE GRILL SPECIAL CHICKEN (MAIN COURSE).
Ordering half of this is more than enough for a single person. We ordered full and were literally full after this! We took it home instead of wasting it away.
Coming to the taste, (MUST TRY, BECAUSE IT'S THAT GOOD). Each bite of the chicken pieces gave us foodgasm. The gravy was really light and flavourful on the palate. Not bland nor spicy.
We had this with some naan and tandoori roti.

Another small yet amazing place in the dadar/prabhadevi neighborhood - have tried the tandoori chicken lollipop, soup and Chinese noodle combo. Loved everything - the seating space is very small and on two instances had to return back due to no space else this place has mostly everything going right for them. Big thumbs up to the lovely service staff too.

Location : Situated close to Portuguese Church, In a by lane near Uday Tailor. It is easily accesible, Parking can be a challenge.
Waiting: The place accepts Zomato n Dine out, Also the place has capacity constraints, Yet as the place is not yet famous waiting time is negligible.
Ambience: It is short on space, If you are looking for ambience then this is not your place. This is a place where u get value for your money.
Service: Service is prompt, the dining cutlery is good and the place is clean.
Food : We had Paneer Chilly & Mushroom tandoori for starters, the paneer was soft n succulent, The paneer chilly was delicious, The mushroom was fresh and portion was reasonable. Service was prompt.
In the main course we had Paneer Makhani n Cheese Garlic naan,
Paneer was loaded and soft, the malai paneer types, The taste was mild, The portions good for 2 , The best thing is they have half n full plates, their portion are very generous.
The cheese garlic naan was outstanding , the Naan was khashtha and cheese was also part of the dough. Real delicious..

Found the place via gold. We tried Chicken Sholay Kebab which was amazing and cheesy along with Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Banjara Kebab. We couldn't try the Chinese menu as there was only Indian on Independence day.

The food and the ambience are too good! We started with some appetizers like Chicken Tikka Lollipop followed by Stuff Tandoori Aloo. In the main course it was Dhaba Style Chicken tikka with Garlic naan which was the best! We had virgin mojito has mocktails! We also had Chicken Tikka Biryani and loved the taste of everything! Guys if your craving for juicy grilled tandoori chicken and mains then this place should be on your top to do lists.
We visited this place called cottage grill located in the cozy streets of Dadar. It's located in just opposite lane of Portuguese church.
The ambience is very dreamy in the Evening with hanging lanterns and rustic green vibes around. They have indoor seating too but I would highly recommend their outdoor ambience it's perfect for a date night.
Coming to the food we tried their pahadi chicken tandoori lolipop and chicken tikka. The chicken is very fresh and juicy the marination used it just on point and they grill it with so much love that it tastes just heavenly
Moving to mains we had to try dhaba style butter chicken and garlic naan. The gravy was very flavourful and has an authentic taste to it.
Chicken tikka biryani is again a value of money item the quantity is quite huge and taste wise it's just Perfect ❤️

Was here with my family after a long shopping trip. We were hungry and wanted to try something non-vegetarian, and found this place. The restaurant has a good ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating.
We ordered chicken Mongolian lollipop, which was super good. Then we had the Afghani kebab, which was the best. We also had virgin mojitos along with the food.
For the main course, we tried the chicken tikka masala with butter kulcha, and it was excellent. As for the rice, we had the Schezwan fried rice. We had a really great time here.

Great little restaurant in the quieter back streets close to the beach. Very affordable and excellent food. The staff were really helpful with the menu and even went the extra mile to prepare things that weren’t there. Tasty food (the best chicken I had in India) and lovely little restaurant thats very pocket friendly indeed. It was a stand out place on my trip whilst travelling to many different places..

Place has a very Small AC Area but Non AC Area is Pretty Big (for get togethers) Staff is Veryyy Professional and Polite. Tasty Food And Quality and Quantity Both are Worth the price.
