Recently visited this place. Where i tried cheese garlic kulcha, papad kulcha and one potato starter.
Cheese garlic kulcha was winner for me. Served with chole and two chatnis.
.
Will recommend this place for all kulcha lovers. You can get variety of kulchas here. Yes also i like the papad kulcha too. It's actually the roasted papd stuffing inside the kulcha.
.
Outdoor seating only. Very nearer to khar road station. Staff is friendly.
This was one of the best rolls I have had. Their hygiene standards are to vouch for. You can’t get better food at decent costs
Really good rolls! Must try! The place doesn't have a proper sitting area. There are chairs laid out. Looking forward to try their kulchas!!
Ordered in from The Kulcha Houz, and on opening the box were pleasantly surprised at how hot and non-greasy everything was! We first tried the Chicken Achari Tikka, it was so soft with a good amount of spice. In the Stuffed Kulchas we had the Chicken Tikka Kulcha and Crushed Papad Stuffed Kulcha, they were both served with Amritsari Chole, Imli Chutney & Sour Onion. The Kulchas were crispy and delicious, the Crushed Papad Kulcha was a delightful dish to munch on, and the Chicken Tikka Kulcha was crunchy on the outside and packed with flavour on the inside, it definitely stole the show and the Chole just added to it! Would definitely order from here again.
Road number 3 in Khar should be renamed "The Strip".
Yes, the erstwhile shadiness of Khar Road Station still haunts the area, which on the weekends is a meeting point for day labourers and their babu overlords. By night, however the road is a veritable hub for evening entertainment and revelry. In about a hundred metre stretch of road there is a double digit number of bars and take-away joints. The sound of merriment is in the air on a Friday night, as Bollywood "belters" are heard overheard from one of the roof-top bars that overlooks the station, while the click-clack of heels along the pavement punctuates the sound of those female Hindi vocals. Fortunately being India, it's all a bit more civilised than "Strip" of many a Greek party island or some other Mediterranean "all inclusive" holiday hell-hole.
The Kulcha Houz is right in the epicentre of all this. The owner has even made a make-shift seating area for those wanting to view the chaos from the periphery. I'm not sure chole and kulche is the first thing I'd have in mind after the lethally luminous cocktails in one of the many establishments nearby; however, the owner assures me there are many takers for this type of food in the vacinity. "Many Punjabi families live here", he tells me or words to that effect. I certainly don't fit in that niche but the food is up to the mark.
210 INR (about 3 USD at present) buys you a temporary al fresco seat, aloo kulcha in 4 quarters, a substantial portion of chole, some sweet sauce on the side and a dose of ghee for good measure. One certainly can't complain on the quality; the chole is dark and rich with a good smattering of diced onions, whilst the kulcha is fresh out of the tandoor. There's also no aspersions that the chef has added any hazardous colouring or other known evils to the food.
No where could you get a better aperçu of or be as aurally challenged by the modern Indian city than road Number 3. Kulcha Houz makes you a guest of this rapdily transforming urban space. It might be too much for some, but finding peace in the midst of the tumult is a rather joyous experience.

Blend of Punjab and Old Delhi. Yum kulchas with cute ambience to hang out with your friends.
They’ve amazing variety of stuffing, pick your favourite one. And dont worry about butter, its not fatty 🤭
Awesome food :) super tasty !!! A small outlet in the midst of khar west . Kulcha houz is very much influenced by taste of amritsar . The cheese onion kulcha and chicken tikka kulcha (served with yummy amritsari Chole) are to die for. If you really wanna taste the delicacy of amritsar or is missing north Indian kulchas "kulcha houz" is the place
Kulcha Houz is a delivery kitchen based in Khar. They serve veg and non veg North Indian dishes.
The delivery was done on time. Food was hot and fresh. Packaging was taken care.
This kitchen serves stuffed kulchas with chole and kebabs.
We tried their chicken achari tikka and Tandoori Aalo Kebabs, chicken stuffed and onion stuffed kulchas.
Kebabs marinated in tandoor flavours and spices.
Kulchas served with chole. Chole were spicy to my taste.
The food quality was good and tastes delicious. Would love to try a few more of their dishes soon.
Loved the onion kulcha...best I have ever eaten..looks as if it is made with love..the owner was very nice and kind and also guided me correctly ..will be a regular with restaurant...cheers
Yummy and authentic kuclhas and chole with tasty chutneys, amazing blend of spices and flavours Prompt service and good packaging. Totally loved the food
Brilliant packaging and fairly reasonable prices. Got a chicken keema kulcha delivered and was fairly impressed with the service. The food is good, though nothing epic.
Good food. While family enjoyed it. Sour onions were unique. Even Amritsari Chole were good.
Ordered aloo amchur kulcha delivery was fast. Packaging flawless. Coming to food...to find authentic kulcha in Mumbai is a rarity but Kulcha Houz just fills that gap. But the real treat was chole .....just one word awesome....I believe this is new outlet if the authenticity and quality is maintained The Kulcha Houz would be permanently on my order list
Kuche Choley ne Delhi ki yaad dila de, superb food nyc presentation, lot of options are available but the best was their choley kulcha, taste was good , this QSR is more of a delivery kitchen as you don't get much sitting space... all in all taste is the king so this place gets 4 star for taste !!
We ordered paneer and onion masala kulcha along with a portion of chicken tikka kebab. We had asked for one kulcha and tikkas to be made without butter.
Order came within 20.mins and the food was extraordinary! It truly reminds me of Amritsar with every bite of Chile and the tangy chutney. Naresh had ensured that the request has been adhered to while not compromising on the quality.
One more thing which most of the restaurants don't really care about is the packaging. - again Kulcha Houz excels in this department with correct description on top, air ventilation to ensure kulcha doesn't become soggy and color of the box itself! 😄
Will order again and again and again...!
Visited this place when it wasn't even a week old also it wasn't listed on Zomato.
Gave it a try with Onion Kulcha and Cheese Chilly Kulcha.
I must say we don't have a great kulcha place in Khar vicinity and thanks to them now we have one.
Must try place and also it was sweet of the owner to give us complimentary paneer and aloo tikka as a kind gesture... Thumbs up from me...
Craving Kulchas but cant afford that flight ticket to Amritsar? The Kulcha Houz offers authentic and mouth watering kulchas delivered to your doorstep. We ordered two of their special kulchas home one afternoon and were left pretty impressed. The packaging looks like a pizza box with the kulchas and the accompaniments compartmentalized well. Each single kulcha comes with Amritsari chole and chutneys. The chole was a bit on the tangy side for my liking, but went well when mixed with the chutneys and paired with the kulchas. Here's what I tried-
Chicken Tikka - This was stuffed with shredded chicken and spices. A good option if you're a non vegetarian. Chilli Cheese - Really liked this one, a perfect balance of cheese and spice.
Extremely yum food and solid service. Love the Chicken Tikka Kulcha and Chicken Keema Kulcha. They have kebabs as well. Overall a great place to grab a quick bite
Working everyday is monotonous which is boring but the only thing which makes it interesting is food. Thought of trying this place for lunch. Got 2 kulcha's delivered at work place which were Aloo Kulcha and Cheese Chilli Kulcha.
This kulcha's were accompanied with Chole, Onion Chutney and Sweet Chutney. Kulcha without having with this was also yummy but having with this was like cherry on a cake.
Overall a good experience & good packaging.
The part Punjabi in me (yes, a very little part, but there is a part :p) loves her Chole Bhature and of course...the good old KHULCHA 😍
Unfortunately, a good #Khulcha until recently was a rarity in the city. However, that is now a this has now changed with @thekulchahouz !
They have a great variety of unbelievably good Khulchas that will make.you so very happy! Best eaten hot and fresh, each portion comes with a side of #Chole and pickled onion.
My favorites were the Chicken Tikka Khulcha and the Cheese Khulcha!
Do try!
Ordered the onion kulcha via zomato to satisfy midnight hunger cravings.
Kulcha was crispy and served with chole and imli chutney ..
Very very happy with the taste quality quantity and the packing.
Definately worth trying more
Ordered Home their onion, paneer and chicken tikka kulcha, their chicken achari and chutneyvala kebab... absolutely loved the food!! The kulcha’s are probably the best I’ve had in this city! It’s a must try!
The matar kulcha was nice crispy and warm . It tasted even better with the channa and chutneys and the paneer and alloo tikka were yum. Must try . Try it with your family
Very good Kulchas. Authentic North Indian flavour . One of the best restraints visited. The channas are very good . I loved the cheese kulcha and the chutneys given
Small eatiing plus take away joint at the buzzing khar station. Very warm n polite welcome by the owner. Kulchas served with chole and two kinds of liquid sweet n sour. Cheese chilli kulcha - 5/5
Loved it ...it's a must try for Kulcha lovers...I enjoyed the chicken tikka Kulcha also ...great place for quick.bites fill of flavours and delight . YUMMY FOOD A MUST TRY
One of the best and yummiest Kulcha I had and would love to have. Quick delivery and meal which fulfilled my need and made with lot of love and happiness. It was delicious. I have tried all the Veg Kulchas and Favourite was Paneer Kulcha and Mattar Kulcha. Guys go and grab delicious Kulcha here at Kulcha Houz :)
The Kulchas are awesome. Some of the best I've ever had, but what makes them better is also the packaging which ensures you get them fresh and tasty, very few eateries pay attention to this detailing. Loved it, and the cost was a no brainier.
Kulcha Houz is possibly the nearest perfection kulcha that you can eat. It is directly comparable to the great ones from Delhi. Have eaten all their non vegeterian and quite a few of the vegeterian options. Nothing has disappointed so far. The choley and tomato chutney is to die for. The packaging is perfect and makes you happy when it arrives. This has pretty much replaced all my late night snacks from rolls to kulchas.
So this is the new ‘authentic punjabi kid’ on the block.. Well I can tell you that these Kulchas are as authentic as you’re going to get in Punjab !! They are amazing!!!!! My personal favourites are the chicken, aloo, cheese chilli and the onion and the chole and chutney served with them are delicious!! I’ve tried their kebabs and they are bang on!!! This place is perfect for lunch, dinner or even a party!! Simply yum!!!!
So we ordered all their VEG kulchas. Found them really amazing. There are plenty of places in Mumbai that serve Punjabi stuff but this place comes really close to authentic stuff. Would definitely recommend. !
Went for Cheese chilly kulcha. Was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of cheese and flavours.will try other options soon. Recommended for lunchtime and quick dinner bites. PS. They have put in some real heart in their packaging
Fresh and different and Very good packaging too. We ordered chilly cheese Kulcha and it was extremely Yummy, served with chole and meethi chutney.
