Okay so Northern tadka is a really good restaurant. The food was okay and the quality was really nice. But where they lagged was taste. They could've improved the taste a bit and also made it little tastier. Also had jalebi Rabdi which wasn't that good. And dal makhani was good it could've been a little better.
Mutton Biryani was too spicy.
Peshawari Mutton was too good.
Must try Nimboo Chicken

This is a part of a large chain of famous restaurants to its name like Urban Tadka, Jugheads, Poptates. This one specializes in north indian food and does a great job. Service is always swift and rates very very reasonable for the quality. Paneer Tikka is a must try.. also makki roti and sarso saag when in season.
This place never fails to disappoint. Ordered makki roti n sarson saag and it was delicious, fresh and delivered hot. The chutney they serve is fresh and not watery. Overall an enjoyable meal.
One of the best North Indian food restaurants in the city. I don't even remember how long I have been visiting northern tadka now however in all these years the food has been incredibly consistent.

Well if you are craving for some good North Indian food, then this is the place. Old Hindi Bollywood numbers, dabba set up, metal plates just makes them a fine dinning place with family.

The food also was good had tried a mutton gravy with butter naan, the taste was nice ... the only thing which was a lil dissappointing to me was when i found tiny tiny bones while having the gravy ...you might think that a mutton gravy will definetely have some bones...but most importantly this happens when the mutton gravy is old and the last portion of the curry always consists of tiny broken bones..
The resto must prepare fresh and small portions of gravy whenever ordered by customers to avoid such kind of problems..

A total of 6 outlets, mostly concentrated in the western suburbs; Northern Tadka has been in business for over a decade.
Recently visited their Malad outlet for dinner and found the place crowded for a weekday but this is place where people come to eat out with their families as food is not expensive and they do give an authentic touch to their receipes.
We ordered for the below items :
- Ambarsariya Murgh : Never fails to surprise me, been having for so long that this dish actually tastes of love and memories. Thick red gravy with generous amount of chicken pieces marinated in yogurt and spices, slow roasted to perfection in the tandoori.
- Pindi Choley : A classic Punjabi dish for all vegetarians which is flavoured with a large assortment of spice powders, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and onions added perfectly to Kabuli chana, giving this one an irresistible flavour and aroma.
Paired both these dishes with Tandoori Roti & Butter Naan and savored each bite.
We also got a 15% discount on our bill as part of tie-up with Axis bank, in addition they do have a standard 10% discount for corporate employees.

I have ordered Pesawari Murg,and they have sent 6 piece of Fresh "Jalebi"...that's Soo amazing..I was craving for that by seeing their post of Jalebi with Rabdi in ZOMATO..

Multiple choices in starters veg and non veg I must say all the dishes do have Northern flavour , service was quick , staff is quite friendly , prices are reasonable hence altogether I would surely recommend #Northerntadka for others

This is one of my favorite restaurant for everything be it there decor, sitting arrangements, food choice and food quality. I like there both veg & non veg food, Tandoori chicken, Lemon chicken is very very good. Even Murg Musallam is good. One can always repeat the restaurant for its food. Citi bank card holder gets 15% discount. So do use if you have one .

A place for every north indian food lover. Service is good but sometimes slow. I overlook any flaws because the food is like the best north indian food i have tried. Totally finger licking good and yummy.
I really like the decor of this place as it reminds you back the culture of North and pictures do most of the talking. It was bang on from decor to presentation of food, choice of cutlery, glasses and uniforms of waiters ..proper dhoti kurta.
The taste of the food is above average...I tried bhuna murg, tandoori mushroom tawa masala ...with butter naans and they were awesome. It never felt a difference in taste while sitting in Mumbai.
The staff was courteous and prices were reasonable.

It's a place serving authentic North Indian, especially Punjabi food. It's located very close to Movie Time Theatre, off Link Road at Malad. It's better to book the table in advance as the restaurant is quite famous and usually crowded on most of the days. Ambiance is quite ethnic. Needless to mention, as the name suggests, it's a North Indian Food speciality restaurant. Tamatar Shorba, Paneer Tikka of your choice, Gobi Tikka, Chicken Tikka of your choice is must try. In main course, Palak Paneer and Ambasariya Murg is really delicious. Again in Rice Chole Aalo ki Biryani is fantastic. In short, it's a place worth visiting again and again to keep trying different specialities from their vast Menu.

For startes we ordered the chicken malai kebab and murg masala lollypop.
Chicken malai kebab was delicious but lollypop was disappointing.
Cheese garlic naan is must try

One of my friend suggested this place as she recently visited here so even I decided to go with my family. The ambience was great and friendly staff, we enjoyed alot and we ordered their from the special menu items, Roghani Murgh Tikka whuch was one of the specials and it was delicious. Our server Prem was also really helpful in choosing the dishes. We all were so excited to eat that we forget to take pictures of other dishes. But all the food was tasty.

This is not my first visit to this place. Have been here 3-4 times. It's a very nice and cosy place, quick service, friendly and courteous staff, quality of food is awesome. Try their Dilliwale Chilli Paneer, a bit spicy but the steward will tell that to you while placing order. We tried Dal Khichdi, Naan with Mastaani Handi it was lip smacking.

The ambience is just Awesome. The server was very polite. And talking about taste, I would not recommend soup to anyone. But the main course is very yummy. The quantity is pretty decent for the cost they charge.

Well curated Punjabi Dhaba setup. I visit this place quite often. I like the limited menu they have, I am sure it helps the chef to serve fresh food, and you realize that the moment you taste it.
'Chicken Biryani' served in a matka and 'Dal Makhani' are my go to dishes there. But one can opt for any curry (non veg & veg) of their's and you will be pleasantly surprised.

The quality and taste it's been consistent always and never disappoints with our favorites that's Lemon Chicken and Meat Biryani this are must have. We this time met Sitaram & Jantu and they scored 100% on excellent customer service.

These guys know the North Indian Food well. Every time I go there it reminds me of the food in Delhi.
Everything in the food section is made with precision and is absolutely delicious. The suggestions of the server to food suiting your taste buds are bang on. I specially love the Banjara Murg and the Matki Murg. The breads are also well make unlike a lot of other places which are high on maida.
The setting of the restaurant makes it look like a rustic village and the clothes of the servers matches that well. The tables are well spaced out to give you privacy and the lighting is just right.
