Had a great experience here last year. The jetty from gate 5 right outside Taj takes you to this perfectly located floating restaurant which had an amazing view and gives you the chills. Have been there 3-4 times since then and is one of my favorite places in Mumbai
We were immediately escorted to the ferry when we arrived, no wait at all, staff was polite and courteous, we ordered for veg nachos which were delicious and quantity was good, though we did not get the wine we wanted the overall experience was really good.. must visit for a different experience..
Best dinner date I've ever been on. I went in May and the weather was just perfect. The sea wasn't too rough and in the evening it wasn't too hot.
I made a reservation through zomato and we had to reach jetty no 5 opposite the Taj Mahal palace where our jetty was coming to fetch us.
The jetty ride per person costs 500. It picks and drops you back.
The jetty ride itself is pretty amazing. Queensline is right in the middle of the sea unlike ab celestial.
It's a ten minute ride and it's extremely beautiful.
Take a table on the the upper deck and book a table during the sunset time.
The food on the menu seems a tad bit expensive but the quantity will make up for it.
It was a memorable time while enjoying dinner in the middle of the sea,moreover uplifted by the mesmerizing views of Mumbai skyline. Drinks, lobster and the chocolate dessert on the deck was an exclusive experience ! This cruise line provides excellent service and is worth a try !

Was planning to visit this place for long. Went for dinner with a friend. The boatride which took us to the venue itself was fun. The staff is welcoming and attended well even on busy weekend. Service was quick. Coming to the food there are limited options . But the menu is well designed. We had Buddha's bowl and pizza among others. Very well done. The cool sea breeze and the live music makes the experience even more special. So if you are adventurous and want to have a different experience then this is the place. Perfect for a date or birthday party. And best part is it won't burn your pocket! Rates are quite reasonable. So the final verdict is

My visit on 15 may I do remember all situation on spot, our host Roshan took round of in n out yacht so smoothly n diligentely with proper VIP treatment its like heavenly feeling truly marvelous n unforgettable moment to my family.

Situated amidst the sea with wonderful view looking over the high rise of Colaba, started with a great boat ride from gateway to the venue. We were greeted with a smile by “Sherin” and given a small tour around before we occupied the best table right in the front on the top deck watching the sunset behind the great TAJ MAHAL .it was followed with some amazing cocktails and a yummy non veg platter . Must say that I am super impressed with the ambience as it imbibes into the night with good music.
Was a great experience on Queensline Sea Yah. Overall journey from the jet boat to the floating restaurant was simply awesome . Staff is friendly, ambience is great and my overall experience was simply fantastic.

Such good music, beautiful ambience. I went with my Girlfriend on her Birthday. she really was very happy. We ate a mix pizza and a chocolate desert with raspberry .
So what happened with us was, i was misguided by there customer service to a wrong place and because of that we missed the sunset. I think she wasn't aware that the location of the boat is not going to change and she sent us somewhere else. We were really pissed, but as we sat there it really was a mood changer. Tho menu on the Veg side is very less but one pizza is enough for two. They gave us a complementary pastery

I have been to restaurant just after Valentine’s Day... we reached there before sunset so we could enjoy entire 360 degree view of sea. Food is very nice and has very different cuisine. Service is also impeccable. Very nice ambiance and very nice feel good factor. We booked the table on the deck so it was pleasant. Good experience overall.

Boarded the jetty and reached the floating restaurant at around 6 .. trust me that is the best time to visit the place to experience the sunset and get amazing view of the Mumbai city.
There were not many people at that time later on as the evening sets in people start to come.
We had ordered for pizza and mocktails and one starter. Food was on the ok side but the view was beautiful . Plus the cool breeze rushing against your face and some good music to get along with it was worth it. The staff was co-ordial
The price was on the higher side considering the location and the ambience but it's a must visit place for everyone staying in Mumbai..

Visited this place on 9th May , it was a Surprise Birthday Treat for my friend. ;)
We reached Jetty no 5 , Gateway.
We had already made the reservation , upon reaching we were seated in a ferry within 5 mins. We had the entire ferry to us which was an amazing experience. It was fully compliant safety wise. Within 15-20 mins we reached Queensline.
We sat on the Upper Deck with 360° view .
Man , the view ...best view ever.
We had reached past sunset , sky looked so prettier.

We then ordered 2 glasses of Sparkling Wine.
Drinks are priced at rates which we would find in any clubs/lounges.
Coming to food .
Was a bit disappointed with the variety they had to offer .

I went there after seeing a video online and believe me it's the most amazing place to be. Specially on a full moon night. The trip to the ship by a speedboat is thrilling. Hospitality is amazing onboard. The drinks are priced very much economically as any restaurant or bar but yes the food is a tad bit expensive. It's tasty but yes very expensive. Becareful If you have sea sickness you will feel a bit of motion of waves on the ship.
To reach queensline, one must first make a reseravtion and then take the speedboat to the restaurant , which is 500 per person for the roundtrip.

The yacht is beautiful and we went around 530 just in time to see the gorgeous sunset. With great music playing we had the avocado, nuts, roasted bell peppers and mix cheese pizza for 950. The avocado seems a little out of place but the pizza in all is really tasty.

Next we had the mixed berry mojito cocktail for INR 500 which is pretty reasonable.

The ambiance and food is great. The staff are very helpful and cooperative. Jain people,you don't have to be dishearted; coz they serve JAIN food,as well. The price is abit on an upscale;but you get the see the best view of mumbai. So, it's a win win.

I was very hesitant to approach a new location on sea which I had not heard of, from my friends and family about.I wanted to give it a try though.
You have to catch the Jetty they arrange from gateway which has 500Rs charge per person to and fro.(The cruise is 15minutes from gateway).
I was really awestruck by beautiful view from the cruise .
Mumbai looks breathtaking.
Also we ordered pizza which was really amazing.Though I saw that vegetarian had very very less options and so much importance was given only to non vegetarian dishes.I and my friend are vegetarians,so that was a bit turn off for me, because I wanted to try more dishes.
They should increase food options for vegetarian customers.
I must say,they have more than needed staff but this makes sure no guest leaves without a good service and attention.
Though they keep disturbing you again and again which was a nag I guess.They should give space to customers to let them enjoy the meal.Between meals staff kept coming again and again.

So one of the most happening places I've ever been to great ambience lovely and courteous staff ask for Divya and Priyanka they were welcoming from the first go, The hostess also was great and helped us I cannot recollect her name.. we tried the Berry Mango drink along with a Margarita Pizza the food is of good quality they can keep more options on the menu the prices are on the higher side and are great if you compare to the service, Average cost for 2ppl will be around 2k plus taxes best to go in the evenings they start at 4pm so you could be there around 5ish to enjoy the cool and calm breeze.. in the evening when the lights come on it feels you are in a different world so peaceful and soothing the music also was great and was perfect for the ambience they offer the best part is the Pick up and drop using speed boats it hardly takes 15mins to reach from the jetty no.5 at Gateway note they charge INR 500 per person for the trip to the lovely Queensline Sea Yah!.. All the best!! Looking forward for some more visits in the future.

Very nice experience within city of Mumbai...I had been at sea yah for Sunday brunch.The staff here was very polite and cooperative.The view of Mumbai city from ocean is mesmerising...this floating restaurant was neat and clean.Every thing was upto the mark but one thing they should add in their menu is Indian and Chinese food items and that too vegetarian.They have more of Japanese items like sushi..I have given 4 stars because I was not really happy with the food items served..although the staff helped us with the best they could serve.we live in India so Indian basic starters and food items should be in their menu....Desserts were amazing..specially the chocolate envelope and jaffa cakes.....would love to visit again....

The speed boat experience was simply awesome but it was too expensive 500 per person.I found the menu is overly priced,The mock tails were disappointment though. The sea food pizza tasted ok without the seafood. May be the mussels weren't cooked. Finally Mumbai gets a refreshingly new way to celebrate important occasions in a uniquely different set up. Queensline sea yah provides you an amazing sea facing view in the busiest city of the country.
They have a wide range of cuisine, mostly asian.
Avocado-melon-orange-pineapple salad was a citrus delight. They had wide range of sushi and contrary to the popular opinion, even veg sushi was delicious. Assorted veg sandwich platter was pretty unique and each sandwich was different. The best part of the food here is that it's a yummy treat to your palates without any pinch of guilt.
The warm welcome and service extended to us by the team and exquisite range of food made sure that we had an amazing evening out there.
Place is good and ambience is very romantic. Staff is very friendly. Should visit before sunset for best experience. Nice option for going on a date.

My best friend chose Queensline - Sea Yah for celebrating her birthday, a week back in this place. The transport to and fro the floatel is evidently pretty limited in nature. But then again, they were kind enough to wait past the reservation time to ferry us all collectively to the venue, despite one of us running a little late. The speedboat ride was pleasant, the helmsman has been briefed about safety measures and insisted upon life jackets to be worn at all times, which again shows the character and won us over. The venue is absolutely beautiful, amidst the sea. The decor of every level is tasteful, so is the bar constructed. The Bombay skyline is visible from here and the view is undoubtedly stunning. We caught the breathtaking sunset and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their menu card is in the form of a scroll, which is extremely aesthetic. The devil is in the detail, after all. Unfortunately, I’m also afraid that within a month’s time, the menu cards shall be ravaged on account of miscreants inflicting damage to the menu cards. The alcohol is reasonably priced. the food that we happened to try- Salmon maki, prawn maki, risotto and margherita pizza were sadly not up to the mark, the sushi and the risotto in particular. This place seems to be a bit over staffed, however the staff is courteous. The eggless chocolate cake for my friends birthday was surprisingly absolutely brilliant. all of us present for the event do not enjoy chocolate cakes as a rule of thumb, however this one won all of us over on account of it being too moist, soft and delicious. I shall obviously be visiting QS again, however I intend to order smarter (I understand that amidst the sea I must not expect an authentic Japanese fare), stick to pizzas, let the others grab drinks and enjoy the experience all in all. Particularly in love with the entire fairylights set up that is switched on once the sun goes down.

Well, this place is located in Arabian Sea. Queensline - Sea Yah, its a ship. They have lounge area, A/C deck with partial view, non A/C with partial view and premium exotic deck with 360° view. Staff is friendly. Table booking is recommended. Best part you can roam and have look around the entire ship. Best place for special occasions to be with Family, friends and Special one's. Ambience, Panoramic view, sunset, warm and cozzy ambience, cold breeze is all what one can experience.
To reach ship you have to board a speed boat at Jetty No. 5 from Gateway of India. The cost is Rs. 500 per person to and fro. It is 1 nautical mile and takes around 12 to 15 mins to reach the ship. I will strongly recommend to have life jackets in speed boat as they were not visible anywhere.
For food we had Dark Miso with Tofu and Shiitake Mushroom and from Pizza Ballotté À La Main we had Avocado Nuts, Roasted Bell Peppers and Mix Cheese. Both were delicious. For liquor we had Sula Sauvignon Blanc.
In all great and awesome experience and must try. I will love to visit again.

I went to Sea Yah with my wife for dinner and i have to say, the experience was just too good. We are senior citizens, and we found the whole experience of reaching the restaurant - boat ride from the jetty to the restaurant ; boarding and deboarding facilities ; safety precautions - all extremely comfortable and well taken care of. The speed boat ride in itself was a fun experience.
Once we reached Queensline Sea Yah, we were complety taken in by the atmosphere of the whole place - tasteful interiors, friendly and courteous staff, music was just right, not over bearing. I quite enjoyed the silence with my wife in the middle of the sea - very unlike and a welcome change from the other restaurants we go to.
To top everything, the food was good too.
We really enjoyed the whole experience of visiting Queesnline, and look forward to coming again with my children and grand children.
Such a fantastic experience on Sea Yah. I am absolutely thrilled that this one is so much more closer to home. Loved the vibe on the ship in the middle of the sea. Its such a great place for a bachelorette/bachelor party or like a singles party. Also, the food here was definitely worth the visit. The experience of having to see the sunset in the middle of the Sea is surreal with a meal. The food is great but the ambiance is what makes it amazing for the evening . Please do visit, the staff is lovely. Will come back for more. It's an experience of a kind.
Visiting Queensline was an experience in itself. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional. The ship has been tastefully done and the ambience is great. Good part is one can move around on the ship and enjoy the views from the lower and the upper decks. Being a vegetarian I got a good number of vegetarian options. The presentation of food and drinks was exceptional. Their pea and mint soup was delicious. The sushi we ordered was amazing. Their veg spaghetti wrapped in aubergine is a must try. The ricotta tiramisu is amazing- its with a twist of ricotta cheese as they do it in Sicily (the chef told us). Its nice to know they have tried to include new things from around the world. The gin bar was good, but my favourite was their special martini with smoke. Booking the cruise was a good idea as the view of the Mumbai skyline, Gateway and Taj from the middle of the sea is mind blowing.
An affair inescapable... completely in love with everything!!😍😍 the ambience wants to keep getting you there again and again! Food is flavoursome... can’t get over the experience!!

Anniversaries are special and to celebrate it we always look out for a special place, that's when I came across Queensline floating restaurant which is at Gateway. Queensline SeaYAH is in midsea, so they transferred us via speed boat (I must say the speed boats are amazing that they use). Upon reaching SeaYAH, we were flabbergasted looking at the decor, ambience and the lit view of gateway of India was extraordinary.
Now coming to food, wasn't expecting much as we are jains and usually jain foods at restaurants are ok ok types, but to our surprise, Jain food was delicious! Mocktails and deserts are a must try! We loved the part where they gave us a pastery with Happy Anniversary written on it. Thank you guys just an amazing gesture!

I went here for a Valentine’s Day dinner.
We have to be at Jetty # 5, next to Gateway from where we’re taken to the restaurant on a smaller boat. The journey is about ten minutes long. We have to pay a sum of 500 bucks for this boat ride (seemed to be a tad expensive). Also, one thing I found is that there were an inadequate number of life jackets on the smaller boats. I think this should be taken care of to ensure no untoward mishap happens.
The restaurant inside is beautiful and has a lovely vibe and view of the sea. The ambience is great and the tables are very tastefully set. Service was very good- staff was friendly, helpful and polite. One issue that I have with the seating is that there are two ships right next to each other. If you’re sitting on the inside, i.e., next to the other ship then you don’t get a view of the sea. That can be quite disappointing if you’ve come all the way to enjoy a sea facing view.
We ordered a bottle of red wine on the recommendation of the service staff. We ordered a small non veg platter. It was wonderful. There were two pieces each of different kinds of meat. I really liked the prawns, chicken, and the lobster. Then we ordered a sea food pizza with scallops, salmon, and mussels. We were going to order another dish but our server warned us about quantities and we were glad that e did. The pizza was great too, one of the best sea food pizzas that I’ve had. The scallops were delicious. However, both of us thought that the mussels tasted a bit off, but I can’t be sure if it is supposed to taste like that. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu cake which was delicious.
Overall it’s a great experience and I’d recommend coming here for special occasions. Also, the pricing wasn’t as expensive as I was expecting and the quantities were quite decent. I also like the fact that you can walk around the place and enjoy the meal on the middle of the meal.
It was our 5th Anniversary and we wanted to celebrate it at a different place. I came across Queensline Floating Restaurant which happened to be at Gateway of India. At start we were skeptical as we being Jain, going to a floating restaurant was not an good idea but our preception changed, right now from boarding a speed boat to reaching the ship in mid sea the experience was marvelous, and the food that too Jain food was out of the world, kudos to the chef for the amazing food. Hospitality, Ambience, decor and music is commendable and unseen at least when it comes to floating restaurant in Mumbai.
Highly recommend, worth a try atleast once.
Amazing food which is only enhanced by the ambiance. Service was great and overall superb experience including the speed boat which takes you to the restaurant in the middle of the ocean.
Was lucky enough to book this place very early on. We were the only couple on the deck. Felt like booking the entire deck for ourselves. The ambience was divine. The food menu is perfect for the place. The ride from the jetty to the ship is very enjoyable. Would love to visit again. Make sure you reavh early for the sunset. We missed it but will plan again the next time. They didn't serve alcohol when we visited but they were in the process to procure the license. Overall a must visit place for every Mumbaikar.
Loved the ambience and the cruise as much as I enjoyed our meal. Overall a great experience. Food and drinks were great and there was something for all age groups.
All tick in the boxes.. Great Food !! Amazing beverages and choices specially the Martini Bar and Mojito Bar list.. Staff is very well trained and polite and score full points on hospitality.. Just an amazing place to visit under the open sky and twinkling stars in middle of aea opp taj mahal hotel gateway of india over looking our very own beautiful Mumbai city view from the other side.. highy recommended !!
Very good food. We had the vegetarian pizza, sandwiches, and sushi, saffron risotto and desserts. Excellent. The cruise was the great attraction. And we were lucky to have very pleasant weather.
The staff was polite and courteous.
All in all, a great experience.

This is going to be the next hype of Mumbai.
Out of luck, found this place on Zomato and planned it for a date with some expectations. Right from the time we arrived at Gateway, we were taken aback with awe-inspiring experience.
While we expected that a mediocre boat will fare us to and fro, a gorgeous yacht is what we got.
It took us to this totally mesmerising place, Sea Yah Queensline. We were seated on the top most deck of this ship. Right in front of us, amongst the many things, we could see Taj Mahal Palace lit. Such great was the ambience.
To top things up, the courtesy of the staff was surreal. It was too good, haven't experienced such courtesy anywhere before.
While the focus for a date is generally the ambience, we had no expectations from the food. Surprisingly, the food was good too.
We had ordered-
Beverages: Watermelon mint, peach tea punch (recommend)
Main course: Jerk Chicken pizza (good quality and taste, huge size that can fill 2 average appetite individuals)
Dessert: Rose panna cotta (recommended)
Loved the experience.
PS: there is a return yacht fare of Rs 500/person
One of the best floating restaurant to visit. Amazing experience and delicious food. The view and ambience is simply worth it. Worth a go anytime.
One of the amazing floating restaurant that I have been to and that too in South Mumbai, Colaba. Lovely ambience, fantastic food and the cruising experience while having food is out of the world. Staff is very helpful, friendly and polite. Worth a try to you want to have an amazing sunset experience while Cruising.
