This is a lovely small place and has extremely polite staff. The food, especially the chicken rara is great. Definitely worth a visit.
Small place around the corner on 16th road Khar, we tried the mutton sheekh kebab, it was too dry. We also had the masala papad, paneer butter masala and roti .

This places gives a cozy small dhaba feel. Nice comfortable restaurant . Loved the chicken gravy and chicken tikka and the black dal is a must try. I asked for a chilli garlic naan which the chef made it excellent to my taste😍
Reminding me of the lanes of Amritsar, Kake Da Dhaba offers authentic Punjabi food that one might crave for. Dal Makhhni and Paneer Butter Masala tasted awesome offering a fine blend of flavours and ingredients. Food portioning was generous for two. Would definitely recommend this place to all Punjabi food lovers.

The food was tasty, with sufficient quantity for two. Shahi paneer had a authentic punjabi taste. I would have loved if mix veg could have been a bit spicier. Will definitely order next time and a sure recommendation for all.

Situated in the heart of bandra at off Palinaka....Nice place to look for North Indian food and has wide range of veg and non veg option available... I am not a soya lover but loved there Soya Chap masala...
Buttermilk- Thick buttermilk with crushed roasted jeera in it
Thali- wide range of items and it's more than enough for 1 person...
Food is bit costly but portioning is generous....

The legend of CP visits Mumbai and it is fantastic, nothing short of exceptional.
We tried the butter chicken and the Saagwala chicken with naan, paratha and a rumali. The rumali came out a bit dry, but they replaced it for us with the naan. It was possibly the best Punjabi meal I’ve had in Mumbai.
The ambience is a bit greasy so you’re better off with a takeaway
Another fantastic option is being able to order chicken with the bone, tikka pieces or shredded. I don’t get why they’d ask to pay additionally for the shredded or tikka pieces, but either way, the food makes it worth it

The experience was great. The place has a nice wooden ambience, albeit a bit small. I had gone with a friend of mine. We had chicken garlic in the starters and followed it with garlic naan, rumali roti and chicken Tikka. Chicken was real good and you get the CP-taste vibe as well. Rumali roti could have been better. Except that it was a great place for dinner

Being a fan of their Cp Branch, I decided to try food from this branch too.
It is opened very close to my locality , ordered food last from here and it was delivered on time .
I must say being a vegetarian there is a lot of variety available in the menu .

I loved the fact that they serve authentic Punjabi food.
We started with Bhatti ka Murg which is Kake special in starters .We followed it with main course and ordered brain masala ,Rara chicken , Paneer tikka masala, butter Naan and Mix Raita .
The food was filled with exotic Punjabi flavours and it was yummy as hell .we couldn't stop eating.

I have ordered from Kake on multiple occasions, and throughly enjoyed the delicious curries of the place. They have consistently maintained high standards in food, and I thought this place certainly deserves a visit. I visited this place for dinner last night. Located in the by-lanes of Pali Naka, the place has decent seating area and is a no-frills establishment, that is still sufficiently clean and welcoming.
Focusing on my dinner last night: we tried the Chicken Afghani for the starters, it was very well-made. Tender yet crunchy, Charred yet not overdone, the mint chutney was freshly made, and packed a powerful punch along with the regular assortment of onions and lime.
Ordered Dahiwaala Mutton which is a chef's speciality and plain Naan for the main course, along with the Boondi Raita. The Mutton gravy is a clear winner, it is well-made and is both Tradition and quality focussed. The gravy is aromatic and unlike the tomato pureed versions that we have grown accustomed to ordering in Bombay.
I am a North Indian living in Bombay and I constantly complain of how Bombay restaurants fall ridiculously short of maintaining the taste, and the high standards of Tandoor dishes of Delhi. Kake made me change my mind and I really enjoyed the food here.

I was visiting Mumbai when I came across this branch of Kake Da Hotel in Mumbai. I was staying on Juhu Tara Road which is not covered by any of the two branches. The Bandra branch manager Mr Soni took note of my request and managed to get my order served at a location not covered by them. Food reminded me of my days in Delhi. Absolutely mesmerising. Three cheers to the authenticity of the food backed by excellent service and intent. Well done and keep it up
We ordered for chicken rara along with roomali roti and tandoori roti. The food was delicious. The staff is very cooperative. The place does give you nice north indian punjabi dhaba feels. Plus it's not too hard on the pocket.

Heard of this place from a friend. It seems it belongs to the Delhi wala Kake da hotel. Don’t know how far it’s true, but the food is pretty much delhi style. Almost same taste. The best butter chicken and Mutton sheekh I have had in a long long time. Authentic flavours. A must try. The chicken tikka, the paneer lababdar, the paneer makhani, the aloo kulcha are all out of the world.
All this is when we called for food at home. I’m sure it will taste far superior when had there.

This is my first visit in this resturant i had never visited before the best part i finded that ambiance was good and beautiful,the food was absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation.the chicken garlic tikka is amazing as well as everything alse on the menu.

We ordered pallak paneer and tandoori roti.
Best pallak planner I have ever had .You can test the water of the sabzi at surfacial level by its colour , guess what ! No artificial colour and less creamy .It was made with right amount masalas and spices .Must try !!
Pro tip - pallak paneer goes really well with a dab of a geen chutney which they offer .
Awesome dal makhni and butter naan. Definitely try the combo meal. Requires more option or assortment for Thali (like replacing Laccha paratha for naan/ rumali roti and Jeera rice for steam rice). All in all a great place for foodies.
A sudden crave for Indian food and we found ourselves seated in Kake Da Hotel.
Decent no frills seating with attentive staff. Not one of those places with a huge elaborate menu but very good options on the menu.
We didn't opt for the starters and dived straight to main courses.
Chicken lababdar, dal makhni, Lal mirch paratha and garlic naan.
Portion sizes are good and food arrived quickly. Only let down would be the Lal mirch paratha - Lal mirch powder on top and not Lal mirchi being used.

Went here for lunch. It's nice place with outside and limited seating on Pali hill. The decor is simple and very basic with wooden chairs and tables. The staff is very good and friendly. The service is nice. It's a very pocket friendly place. It serves Punjabi food. We ordered for a Shahi paneer which was delicious. The butter naan, rumali roti and lachcha Paratha was so soft and yum. They have a fizzy drink in beer bottles which is known as non alcoholic beer, the cranberry flavour was really good. I'm definitely going back here or atleast getting their food home delivered 😜

I visited this place with couple of friends yesterday. Had read about this place so had very high expectations and this place did not let us us down.. A nice cozy place with exceptional food and prompt service.. We had a full course meal.
For starters we called for Bhaati ka Murg & Mutton seekh kabab they tasted yumm the meat was tender and nicely cooked with good flavours. They have this unique style of serving their starters.. Coming to the main course we called for Lacha Paratha and to accompany with that was Butter Chicken and Bheja Masala. Though the Butter Chicken was disappointing Bheja Masala was the star of the night I would give 5+. We also called for Mutton Biryani which came with good quantity as well as good taste. Mutton was well cooked and Biryani was very flavourful.. Thought I m not a Biryani person but I loved it.. To end up with we called for Firni and Pan Kulfi. Firni was good but Pan Kulfi was amazing..

I had ordered chicken biryani from here. The taste was good. It was delivered hot and fresh. But only 2 chicken pieces. And the gravy was not at all tasty. Didn't like it at all. N raita was good. The quantity of chicken was too less.
Ordered a Butter chicken meal from here and the food was still hot when I received it. Lachcha parathas were soft and the gravy was rich with two pieces of chicken. The pudina Chutney was chatpata and went well with the meal. Maybe they should start serving a dessert too with the meal 🤪
I have been looking for authentic dal makhni since I came from Delhi more than an year ago, but could not in most of the North Indian joints.
We found some real yummy north Indian food here, slow cooked daal makhni, well flavoured paneer tikka with fresh soft paneer and refreshing buttermilk. Lachha paratha was soft and crispy.
We definitely recommend this upcoming place for authentic North India food.

Kake has been a regular with us ever since we first went to the outlet in Delhi. And now this is their 2nd outlet in Mumbai and this excites us even more as North Indian food like this is a rare treat for us mumbaikars. This outlet is cosy and pretty with white curtains and wooden chairs and tables around. The service is really sweet and I found them pretty prompt. The food is hard core North Indian so it is a precise menu. What we loved is as follows
1. Soya barra chaap. A veg version of barra chicken. Was simoly the best chaap I have had. Crispy out side and soft inside. Nice chargrilled taste and perfect seasoning and flavour.
2. Paneer tikka roll. A basic roll but amazing taste. Tasted great with green mint chutney and onions.
3. Paneer Kadai with roti. Excellent. A thick gravy, more like an onion based gravy with slices of onions and tomatoes with huge chunks of paneer. Was good.
4. Dal tadka. The most important dal in our meal. This was excellent and made perfectly.
5. Pan kulfi. A must order here. Do not miss this. Right amount of sweetness and pieces of pan leaves were felt in each bite. Loved this dessert.
5. Phirni. Was good but not enough sweet. Something lacking. I miss the fruit cream they have at Oshiwara outlet. Not sure why it’s discontinued. It was one of the best desserts of all time. Pls get it back on the menu.
Overall a fabulous meal. The kinds which makes one feel content and happy. Quite reasonable price wise. A total vfm meal.
Hands down the best North Indian Restaurant in Mumbai .. And if that sounds an exaggeration go and check out their top notch food! Amazing taste and quality ...

Soya Chaap: It was very delicious starter, Soya are deeply tandoored and spicy masala kept which makes very good taste
When you go to Punjabi restaurant, Chaas or Lassi are specially ordered. We ordered Chaas, it was very much tasty
For main course we ordered Shaahi Paneer: Paneer pieces were deeped inside yellow gravy.
Dal Makhani: As Punjabi restaurant, no need to comment on Dal Makhani, as usual delicious.
Along with Main course we ordered Butter Garlic Naan(1 naan 3 pieces) and Laccha Parotha .
Finally we ordered their speciality of dessert i.e. Paan Kulfi. They makes at restaurant only. It was yummy and tempting Kulfi, after main course, you can get very good taste of Kulfi. Very tasty
Overall although they are having limited varieties of veg food, whichever dishes we ordered were very good and tasty
One of the best chicken starters you can have here juicy, soft, mouth watering chicken starters and biryani. Ambience isn’t that pleasing so you can order from Swiggy or ZOMATO..Must try..
Kake da Dhaba-As the name suggest,you will experience that dhaba vibes while entering inside the restro.
The cusines are which are suggested from my end are Chicken rara and Mutton Sheek masala.You should try Butter Naan,Romali roti or Paratha with it.

A small cozy place in the Pali village area to relish North Indian food. The area is clean & well maintained. We ordered Dal makhni & Jira rice. The dal makhani was delicious, not all places can make this authentic. Reserving 1 star aside for future as I want to try more dishes here.
Tip- this place is not air-conditioned though, please make a note.
The food was really amazing. Each dish which we ordered were above par. And, they treated us with Phirni towards the end. A must visit if you are looking for a good restaurant in Bandra.

We heard of the highly praised food of this place and that's when we decided to try this place for a casual dinner on the 31st Dec. It's a cosy place at a corner of a junction of roads in Bandra near Pali hill and they have valet parking. Since it's an outdoor only place, the place was totally mosquito infested. They had placed mosquito coils and also had liquidators which made the food smell more of this pest repellent chemical. Carrying your mosquito racket if possible is suggested. Yes I'm not joking. We preferred a cushioned seat in a corner but the manager there, of a rude personality, whose name I dint bother to ask (person usually in blingy attire) denied us the place saying it's a 6 seater. We were 4. Twenty minutes later he gave the same table to another group of 4. He also once misheard our order and kept arguing that he was right. This kind of service and behaviour is enough to screw up ones mood.
Coming to the food. The food is top notch. We had ordered for Mushroom Makhani. It was quite creamy and delicious. Dal khichdi again was one of the bests that we've had. Chicken Malai Tikka roll was sweeter than expected. Food is really good and can be had more than once.
Ambience and convenience of approach 4/5, I'd rate 5/5 for the food. Service not more than 2 that too for the subordinate waiters.
If you have not been to the original one in Delhi then this is your place ...it's even for those Delhites who miss it!!
This one is a very small joint..7-8 tables..if your going in a big group be ready to sit in smaller groups of 6. This place does not have Air-conditioning so choose a non-humid day (not that Bombay has many😆) to visit.
The food resembles the original Delhi outlet to a very great extent.. there are subtle differences in taste but that can be attributed to the water used for preparing the food.
We had Veg food only (my guests were pure vegetarian) - Lassi, Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Makhani, Butter Naan and Dal Khichdi is what we ordered. The dishese were were tasty but I felt that the portion of Paneer Butter Masala was slightly less. Rest all portions were standard - just like you would expect in any other restaurant.
Dal Makhani was awesome so was the Dal Khichdi. Lassi was thick but not as thick as youget in Delhi.
Go for it if you want good Delhi type Punjabi Food.

This is small restaurant in khar pali village area. Had soya chop, lal mirchi maratha, aloo pasandida, pudina paratha and pan kulfi. Each of the preparation was done beautifully. Soya chop is not a very common dish and actually I had it for the first time in restaurant. It was nicely cooked and spices used were similar used on chicken tandoori. Quantity was really good for 2 people. They have good collection of rotis and parathas . Unfortunately could not have non veg during this visit. But looKing at quality of veg dishes i can't wait to try non veg here.
One of the best authentic North Indian food you will find in Mumbai at a very reasonable price and amazing quality. Must try pan Kulfi , Dal Makhani, and chicken sagwala .I can assure you won't regret and will never forget this place
